My writing style? Oh, I don't know. I try to keep from caring too much about how my writing style comes across to others, as that always results in too much stress, though often to no avail. Instead, I try to write for myself, writing in a syntax I've sort of ended up resorting to often, which I think seems arrogant sometimes. An english teacher told me once, to learn all the rules of the english language then try to break them all.

I think I want so much to convey beauty in my writing that I try too hard and it may come across as gaudy, archaic, and even downright cheesy.

However I do write with the fact in mind that there are millions of writers who are better than I. I guess that's why I try to see my writing as an outlet meant mainly only for myself. I think it's liberating. I apologize if as I writer I'm annoying.

I've had this account for two years? Seriously? Anyhow, my writing style has changed. Well, maybe not changed, however I do incorporate a style that is more natural to myself aside from the poetic, arrogant kind of syntax I've written my other fics, most notable my Love Hina fic.

I tend to incorporate more humor, and more action in a cinematic way, which, at times comes at the cost of sacrificing detail in description. I'm working at being able to convey more outside of dialogue, though, my strength in story telling comes more in the structure in the story itself-- its twists and turns, and how it falls into place in the big picture, rather than focusing on the tiny details. I would like to change this however, and I'm working at it with each new chapter.
