Chapter 6
It is the morning of November 11th. Nyx laid in her bed panting as she has gone into labor with her son. "My dear calm your breathing as and I need you to mush once more." Said an elderly woman with long white hair.
"I….I….can't. It hurts too much…." She says between tears. 'Oh my love. I wish you where here with me.' Nyx things to herself as she gives one more push as now cries of a baby could be heard in the room.
"She is loosing too much blood. Call for a doctor." Cried another woman as someone goes running out of the room to find the village doctor. For this has gotten out of hand for the midwives.
"P…please allow me to hold him. Please I want to see my little Zoro's face." Said Nyx with gasps of breath.
The elderly midwife nods her head and wraps Zoro in a blanket. And slowly hands him to his dying mother's arms. "What will be his full name?" She questions the mother.
Nyx looks over into frowning silver eyes. As her little boy is frowning at her. "His name will be Roronoa D. Zoro." She tells the woman before her.
"A good and strong name. As for Roronoa is an ancient clan name from Wano." She tells Nyx. Who in turn just looks at the old woman. A soft smile crawls across her paling lips. "I know. It was my late mother's clan. A clan long forgotten from the world." She tells her. "But please take him. I am not long for this world." She tells the elderly woman.
She quickly reaches for the baby. "What of his father?" she questions as she needs to know so they could maybe find him. But it was already too late. Nyx was already gone. For she had lost too much blood.
The younger midwife comes running into the room with the village doctor. But the elderly woman looks at them. "She has passed. But she has named the baby." She told them.
The younger woman takes the baby from the woman. "What is his name?" she questions.
"Roronoa D. Zoro." Said the elderly woman.
The younger woman smiles. "if no one minds. I shall take him in and raise him." She told the elderly midwife and doctor.
"No my child. I think you two will be good for each other. But do tell him he had a strong and loving mother." Said the elderly woman with a smile.
"I shall." Said the younger woman as she finishes cleaning Zoro and dressing him. The doctor covers his mother with a frown on his face. "Let's take him back to my house so we can check him out and get you what you will need to feed him." Said the doctor.
"Yes, Doctor Stark." Said the woman.
"Throne it will be fine. We will make sure Zoro grows up big and strong." Said Doctor Stark.
Three months later
The news had covered the world that one Nyx D. Dracule had passed away. But no one knew of what and where she was when she passed away.
At hearing this news Shanks and his crew set sail for the East Blue. For they needed to know if it was true or not.
"Where do you think, you are headed to Shanks." Came a silky smother voice of a woman standing on his deck as they all turn around.
"Why the fuck do you even care where I set sail to Luna." Hisses out Shanks as his eyes narrow on the woman standing behind him as he spins around on his heel.
"Oh Shanks as my sister's former Captain. I am sure you might know where my runaway sister might be." Said Luna as she looks down at her black painted nails.
"Well Luna. I don't have a fucking clue where she is at. What I am worried about is my best friend and how we all found out about her death." Growls out Shanks. As of now he wouldn't be able to head to the East Blue for a while. For is Luna is here. Then that means fucking Hades is watching his every movement.
Luna scuffs. "A fool like yourself knows more than he lets on. But just know this Shanks. I shall be watching you and if you are not heading to see that friend of yours. I will not stop from sinking your ship. I can care less that you are a Yanko. For you know there is a reason why Big Mom and Kido don't screw with my family." She tells him in a dark sweet tone of voice.
"Don't think you are a woman I wouldn't think twice in killing you, Luna. For I have almost taken your life several times already." Said Shanks with narrow eyes.
With that said Luna vanishes from the ship and a splash was heard as the members of Shanks crew run to the railing to see where the damn witch had vanished too. But there was no sight of her.
In the middle of the Grand Line
Mihawk has tears rolling down his cheeks as he reads the paper. For wherever she was at. They had found out her turn name and sold the news to the papers. But there was no news about his son. His already broken heart shatters to pieces as everything he loves is now gone. Now he will just be a cold hearted heartless bastard they claim him to be.
