Chapter 5

The Wedding

Nera breaks away from the girls that are getting her daughter ready for her wedding. She wanted to see her best friend's son. Her eyes lit up when she spotted Zoro and Mihawk talking with each other as he spots the man giving his son a black box. Her eyes narrow in on the box that is exchanging hands. 'Could that be the ring that Nyx had saved from her late mother?' She wondered to herself.

"Zoro." Said Mihawk in a calm even tone as he walks up to his son.

Zoro look up hearing his name being called by his father as he was looking down at the sea below him from the deck of the Thousand Sunny. "Do you need something?" He questions his father. Something he is still wrapping his mind around. That the former World Greatest Swordman is his father.

"I have something that once belong to your mother that I want to give you." Said Mihawk as he hands his son a little black box. Zoro looks up at Mihawk and back down at the little box that he takes from his father's hand.

"Was this? Was this mom's wedding ring?" Question Zoro looking back up at Mihawk.

Mihawk closes his golden eyes and slowly open them letting out a sigh. "Yes, when your mother left me. She left the ring I had given her and only took a simple ring after us dating for several months. I believed she had it planned that one day you would return to me. Even her. But sadly she died after giving birth to you. But was kept secret from the world. They just said she died from internal bleeding. That a deadly pirate was no longer around to terrorize the world." He told his son locking eyes with Zoro as he could see the heartbreak and pain in his father's eyes.

"So the woman in that photo of you that Perona and I found was my mother?" Question Zoro thinking back to the day when he and Perona where messing around in the castle when Mihawk had going on a supply run and found the photo.

Flashback

Zoro chases after Perona for one of her pranks she has played on him. She rushes into Mihawk's private study. As Zoro freezes at the doorway. "Perona you better get out of there." Zoro tells her from the open doorway.

She turns and looks at him with a smirk on her face. "Don't be that way. He isn't around and will not know we have been in here. As long as we don't move anything." She adds as an afterthought. "Anyways come check out this photo. There is a photo of the old Hawk and a woman whose hair is the same color as yours standing next to him. The man is actual smiling with his hand on her belly." She told him.

This got to Zoro as he had only saw a photo once of his mother and it was ripped in half and only thing one could see was a man's hand resting on her belly. He slowly walks over to the pink hair woman to look at the photo. His eyes widen but Perona don't notice this as she has moved on from the photo that now rest in the greenette's hands. That woman in the photo is the same woman in his ripped photo he has hidden within his locker back on the Sunny.

"Come on. I'm bored." Calls Perona from the open door.

Zoro placing the photo back on the desk and slowly turns on the heel of his boot and leaves the room.

End of Flashback

Mihawk's eyes widen at hearing this. As Zoro pulls the ripped photo from his suit pocket and hands it over to his father. For the man to see it.

Mihawk looks back up at him. "There are dried tear marks on it." He tells Zoro.

"I know. Most to all of them are my mom's. But are a few from me. As I had cried a few times as a child. For once I had learnt the woman who raised me until I was 5 years old wasn't my mother, I took what I could and ran away from her. That was the start of my path on becoming a swordsmen as I stole a wooden sword and began fighting and learning how to handle it until I met my sensi at the age of 6 and he took me in and trained me. For before I studied under him. I had defeated all the dojo's on the island." Said Zoro looking up at a shocked Mihawk with a slight smirk on his face.

Mihawk let's out a hearty chuckle that catches Zoro off guard as he had never heard the man laugh or even chuckle. "You are truly our child. As Nyx was only 4 years old when she defeated her first swordsman on her own. But she had a katana. Where you did it with a wooden sword." He said with amusement lacing his voice.

"THE BRIDE TO BE IS READY. GET ZORO. THIS WEDDING IS READY TO ROLL!" Yells Nami with a large grin on her face as she looks back into the room where Luffy is sitting on her bed for the moment as no one wants her to get dirty.

"It is time my son. Let us get you to the alter your large friend has built on short notice." Said Mihawk as he looks over at Zoro and hands him back the photo of his mother. "If Nyx could have been here today. Just now she would have been in that room with your bride to be and hugging the girl to death. As in ways Lufia is just like your mother. Both tomboys, strong will, and never backs down from a fight. No matter what. For the day we meet in the East Blue she had gained my respect as she was willing to end her life to fight me. Just for you." He told Zoro as he places his pale hand on Zoro's shoulder.

"Yeah. She is one of a kind. Now that she is the Pirate King or Queen whatever she wants to be called. We will shake this world up. As the world will not know what will be hitting them." Said Zoro as he turns the direction his father had turned to follow after him.

Of the Coast of Mihawk's Island

Sit's a black ship. Where a woman with long pink hair whose sitting on a throne like chair with a man with silver hair standing next to her. "It appears out dear sister had a son." Said the woman.

"It appears so. But who would have thought it would be that boy from the Super Nova's. It also appears our dear nephew is getting married to the new Pirate King. My dear sister Luna.

The now named Luna looks over towards her brother Dante. "Yes. It does. Let's allow them to get married and then crash the wedding." Said Luna with nasty grin on her face.

Wedding

Brooks strikes up the Wedding March as he spots Luffy making her way towards them as Shanks is walking her down the aisle. Dragon just glaring at the man as Ace stands before everyone ready to marry off his little sister to her first mate and swordsman.

"Who gives this woman hand in marriage?" Questions Ace once his baby sister is standing before him.

"I do." Said Shanks as he grins at the girl with a white dress with crimson and black on her shirt and corset.

"Who gives this man in marriage?" Questions Ace as he looks over at Zoro. As Mihawk stands next to his son.

"I do." Said Mihawk as he looks at the two young loves before him and Shanks. Both men step back and take their seats as Dragon just let's out a sigh as his wife just pats his head.

"I am not going to drag this out. So let's get to the fun part. "Do you Zoro D Roronoa-Dracule take my sister in sickness and health. Though good times and bad. Though poor times and rich times?" Question Ace as he glares at Zoro.

"I do. I have been through thick in thin with Lufia since I meet her that fateful day in Shell Town. A day I would never regret." Said Zoro as he looks down at his future wife.

Lufia grins up at him with a single tear rolling down her cheek.

"Do you Lufia D Monkey take Zoro in sickness and health. Though good times and bad. Though poor times and rich times?" Ace questions his baby sister.

"I do. I am grateful for that day I met you and blacked you into joining my crew as first mate." Said Lufia as everyone jaws drop open at what she just said.

Zoro chuckles. "Yes, you did blackmail me into joining. But it was worth it in the end." He tells her.

"The power vested in me as the Captain of the Spade Pirates. I pronounce you two husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." Said Ace with a frown at the last part.

Luffy jumps into Zoro's arms and kisses him deeply as he returns the kiss. Everyone cheers and at the couple.

Zoro places the rings on her finger after breaking the kiss along with his mother ring. Which Luffy looks up at him grinning as she could tell the last ring is old and something special to him. As she places his ring on his finger. They hold up their hands once everyone stopped cheering.

"THANK YOU ALL FOR COMING AND BEING PART OF OUR SPECIAL DAY!" Yells Luffy grinning at everyone.

But unknown to them things from the past will be knocking on their door once morning comes.

The end for now….It will be a minute before the third part will be posted. But thank you for all the likes and favs.

I stopped working on another story to get this last chapter out for I couldn't get it out of my mind. Even while I was at the doctors. lol
