The Straw Hat Pirates jolly roger waves through the wind as the pirates' ship, the Thousand Sunny, sails forth unabated. The weather today was perfect and calm making it a rather lazy day. Down below the flag, the Crow's Nest, and the mainmast there was our family, the Monkey D. family, lying on a blanket relaxing. Luffy and Nami were laying their heads close together with their bodies' positions slantways. Mika, thus, laid in between them with her mother's hand intertwined with her own. A perfect picture of a loving family.

And the Thousand Sunny, a gallant vessel, sailed with this family and their crew forward to their next adventure. At least, it did and eventually will someday.

DESTINY

Marineford Arc

Every time the rain no longer falls and I see the sky,
I think back to when I was a child who could only cry,

Among the bleached white ruins of some city, Mika was walking alone towards an unknown destination. She wore a neutral expression as she continued unhindered and uninterested in her surroundings.

Blindly chasing after him, I fell far behind,
My only thought,

A series of near-blurry images flash by. All of them focus on some aspect of Ace. First focusing on his trousers before turning to his "ACSE" and then his Whitebeard mark. The man stands against an empty blue sky. Before long, however, Luffy and Nami approach the man from the front. Both of them happy to see the man.

"One day I will be stronger,"

Mika continues to walk through the white ruins.

Camaraderie and gratitude,
Fading with the wind,

All over the Thousand Sunny, the Straw Hat Pirates were each doing their own thing. Luffy was sitting on the Thousand Sunny figurehead. Zoro was taking care of his sword, the Wado Ichimonji. Usopp was fishing off the side. Nami was in her map room with some tea but currently in deep thought.

Am I stronger now than I was before,
Or as weak as back then?

Sanji was in the kitchen and looking at a bottle while holding cheese. Chopper was preparing ingredients for his medicine. Robin was in the library reading. Franky was working on a new project. Brook playing his violin at the stern of the Thousand Sunny.

I don't know for sure, but until I do,

Akio in the aquarium watching the fish. Biri was breaching out of the water just outside the Thousand Sunny with a fish in his beak.

My voyage will not end,

In a group shot, all the Straw Hat Pirates were cheerfully together. Mika was in the middle of it with her parents next to her. On Luffy's side, he had Zoro and Usopp under his arm. Chopper was next to them standing on a barrel. Akio and Biri were next to Nami. Above them was Sanji and Robin, and further above them was Franky and Brook.

No matter what's next,
I'm walking straight ahead,

Still walking, Mika noticed something ahead. She begins to smile before starting to run towards what lies ahead.

So, let's go!

Whitebeard stands among his division commanders on the Moby Dick. The man's men looked ready for battle. Newgate then begins to move his arms as the background and characters fade away only to be replaced by a closeup of Whitebeard's face. Meanwhile, the man himself throws his arms and fist back which creates cracks in the air.

There's nothing that can stop us now,

A new scene. Rayleigh takes a quick drink before sending a flying slash out forward. His smirking face is seen in the background. In the next scene, both Akio and Biri were in the scene before Biri flew in from above with Akio on his back. Another scene appears featuring a blue-flamed bird with Marco "the Phoenix" appearing in the backdrop.

Though time's not on our side,

Next appears "Diamond" Jozu who zipped around with his arm and shoulder now crystalline. In the setting, half of the man's face - his left half - was crystal. The next to be featured was Vista, holding his swords and cutting forth. In doing so, he creates a whirl of maroon petals flutter.

We'll never let it pull us down, and

A giant's giant Oars Junior roars out. Then, there is Shanks as he stands on his boat with his crew behind him

We may fall,

Luffy, already in Second Gear, proceeds to attack rapidly before switching to Third Gear. Nami is in the background, still in Marine clothing, with her Perfect Clima-Tact out. Bon Clay is with her as well. Also, the top of the background was layered with black clouds. Crocodile is next using his sand powers with Daz Bones next to him. Shiki "the Flying Pirates" launches out two air slashes from his sword legs. In his backdrop, Buggy and Galdino (Mr. 3) are cowering in fear.

But we'll always keep on standing,

Jinbe, underwater, swims around and uses one of the Fish-Man Karate techniques. Then, Ivankov gives a cheeky kiss before using his "Death Wink" attack to hurdle him backward. In doing so, he reveals (male) Inazuma on one side. Lastly, the background is destroyed by a hooded man using his hands in a talon-like way to break it. Two others are revealed; one is the Marine girl that was helping Nami and the other is a taller male cloaked and hooded. The girl was in a fighting stance while the man was positioned heroically.

There's no way anything will take what I hold dear away from me,

All of the remaining Super Rookies, the "Supernova," are shown together. One last group is shown: Teach and his now five crewmates, now including Shiryu "of the Rain."

The voices inside me,
Push me to keep surviving,

Mika is still running. Whatever was ahead, it was bringing the little girl a lot of joy.

I'll go on, I'll get through,
No matter what I gotta do

Various still scenes flash by, all precious memories to Mika. The first is Mika, a little younger, playing with Garp. Next came the moment when Mika reunited with Nami and then followed by Luffy. Soon shown is each time Mika met with each of the Straw Hat Pirate, proceeding one after another: Franky, Usopp, Chopper, Zoro, Robin, Sanji, and Brook

The fiercest storms of all can pour upon me, I don't care,

Next comes an image with Mika and Akio, laying on the ground and laughing. Then comes a moment where Mika is walking alongside Ace in a jungle. The last of the memories is Mika, along with Akio, flying on Biri's back.

Why in the world would I turn back?

Finally, there is one last image is of Mika with her parents beside her and Ace above Luffy. All of them were smiling as if posing for a picture, looking like one big happy family.

Oh~!

Returning to Mika, the young girl continues to run forward unabated.

So, let's go!

Now, from the opposing side, the Marines' forces are shown. With Marineford shaded in red in the background, in front of it were, perhaps, the Marines' strongest, Monkey D. Garp and Sengoku. Taking up the bottom and part of the sides below those two men, many of the Marines best were a part of the roster as well. Most were vice-admirals with the center consisting of Coby and Helmapoo in the middle with Vice Admiral Tsuru behind them. To the group's side, Captain Hina stands on their right and Captain Isuka on their left.

There's nothing that can stop us now,

Sentomaru appears first, using his arm thrusts to launch an invisible attack. Next is Bartholomew Kuma, using his Devil Fruit, the Paw-Paw Fruit, to attack. He then launches a light beam from out of his mouth.

Though time's not on our side,
We'll never let it pull us down, and

Then comes Donquixote Doflamingo, grinning like a devil. He flew back into the air while moving his fingers sinisterly. Gekko Moria unleashes his own Devil Fruit power, the Shadow-Shadow Fruit, as it transforms into a colony of cartoonish bats. Dracule Mihawk unleashes a devastating ground slash. The last of the Warlords, Boa Hancock, appears along with her animal partner Salome as she using her Devil Fruit power, the Love-Love Fruit, to fire a pink beam that was formed into a heart by her hands.

We may fall,

A white cloud reveals Commodore Smoker floating back. In doing so, the man revealed his loyal lieutenant, Ensign Tashigi, by his side. Following after, a giant white paw slams down before revealing the snarling maw of the large canine, Whiteout. Behind the large animal, there is Rear-Admiral Auguste with the Gruffs.

But we'll always keep on standing,

Admiral "Kizaru" Borsalino hovers back towards the right corner of the screen and uses his Light-Light Devil Fruit power to fire beams of light. Next comes Admiral "Aokiji" Kuzan flies back towards the left corner launching forth a stream of ice. Finally, the last of the group, Admiral "Akainu" Sakazuki, taking center as both his arms were lava from eating the Mag-Mag Fruit before sending forth two bursts of lava.

There's no way anything will take what I hold dear away from me,

The young girl was still running but finally, Mika had come to what exactly she had seen earlier. Only a short distance away, Mika stopped as she saw her uncle (Ace) and her parents (Luffy and Nami) right before her.

I know the future's there for me to see...

All three adults turned as they noticed the girl and smiled upon seeing her. Mika was ecstatic to see the group and then continued her run towards them. Looking from above, there were several other people behind the family. Many were familiar faces were there, mostly the Straw Hat Pirates. There were also two others barely seen but they had a distinct appearance of blue and dark pink respectively. They all began to walk towards the family just as Mika hugs Ace and her parents, a circle forming around them.
