Author's note: Hey-hey! It's the last opening for Season 1. This time there will only be four chapters but there's a lot to unpack. We'll see if Luffy, Mika, and everyone can recover from this ordeal. So, as always,

First, a scene of the infamous Gold Roger, King of the Pirates, grinning at his execution. Next appears Shanks, wearing the straw hat, docked at Windmill Village. He was smiling while peering down at something in front. The next scene is a child Luffy, now wearing the straw hat, and crying waterfalls. In the next scene, the straw hat is on a credenza in a dark room before switching to show Mika on a bed in the dark. She looked ahead appearing sad. The final scene showed that both the straw hat and Mika are in the same room and that Mika was staring at her father's precious treasure.

Now, with a cartoonish Thousand Sunny sailing in the background of a world map, the Straw Hat Pirates began appearing one by one as they marched forward. First came Mika leading the group excitedly with a stick in hand. Akio appeared next, carrying a fairly big backpack. Next came Luffy, marching cheerfully. Behind the man was Chopper doing the same walk. Playing upon his guitar, Brook was high-stepping to the beat with Usopp behind him with his arms raised up carefreely. Above is Biri, listlessly soaring above them while bobbing his head. Despite the party in the front, it appeared that Zoro was being spoken to by Sanji, though he was most likely tunning him out. Both men were carrying backpacks. Franky, however, is bringing up the party behind them doing his famous pose while walking. He too had a backpack. Second to last is Robin enjoying the antics of her crewmates. Last but not least is Nami, bringing up the rear; however, she soon fades away, causing the whole crew to stop to look back.

At the same time, the Thousand Sunny launches forward.

ONE PIECE
DESTINY

Let us set sail right before the break of dawn
Tomorrow's waiting for all of us and I have

Left behind after the incident on Sabaody Archipelago, the Thousand Sunny remained docked in the same place the Straw Hat Pirates left. Even now, at night, it remains patiently waiting for its crew.

No regrets yes now I've made up my mind

Scene: Luffy's straw hat on the cadenza.

(Oh I know what I'm supposed to do)

Overlaying the hat, images of moments from the Summit War flash by. Mika witnessing the flying Marine battleship arrival. Her mother, Nami, attacking Akainu before he could to Mika (and others). Nami yelling at her for her reckless decision. Standing between Sengoku and Ace, Mika tried to defend her uncle from execution. Altogether, Mika was with her family including Akio, Biri, Koala, and Bon Clay. Finally, Mika crying and releasing her Sovereign's Haki caused by the death of her mother.

No matter how hard it gets along the way
My heart will always be strong from day to the next day

Mika is sitting on a bed in a nice room. She sat opposite the cadenza and was staring at her father's hat. The closer one looks at the girl, the sadder she appears.

There is one place that we all want to go

The young girl soon could not bear the sight of the hat. She folds her legs into her body, places her arms upon her knees, and finally, her face into her arms.

(Fly to the light)

Panning out, it is revealed that Mika is staying in the Snake Empress' Palace on Amazon Lily.

There is no way that they will ever break through

Angry and determined, Luffy beats his way through a horde of vicious animals. In his eyes, an image of Nami from her back can be seen. Meanwhile, somewhere else, Zoro is fighting through ruins with a creepy castle in the background. He appears as determined as his captain.

As we fight more together, we'll know what to do

Having become overweight, Usopp survives in a jungle. His Kabuto is out and prepared to strike. He is scared by equally as determined as his previous crewmates. Next, Chopper is in a vast library and studying diligently.

As we go on our bonds will grow ever more

Brook is singing and twirling in a surprisingly bright desolate village. Robin stands among dull tall buildings experiencing winter; luckily, she is wearing a caught. She appears resolute.

Yes, the power is here, right in our hands

Franky, a bazooka attached to his back, stands in a laboratory. Sanji displays his Diablo Jambe technique on an island with pink trees. He appears as if fighting as it let loose various kicks.

So it's time to go

A shadow flying over the ocean is revealed to be Biri.

Ahead is a new world that's calling for us

The Straw Hat Pirates' pet is flying among an archipelago of islands with various strange creatures inhabiting them.

So look far ahead now

While Biri is looking around, another bird attempts to attack the bird from above and forces him down.

No matter just how many big blue seas are between us

Now closer to the ground, something like a wolf mixed with a monkey with a hand for a tail attacks Biri. The bird dodges and, as more animals come at him, he lets loose an explosive amount of electricity.

No matter what, I'll stand by you

Somewhere, Akio falls to the ground that is nothing but white rock. He looks scratched up and struggles to get up but slowly does so.

Don't be afraid, we'll make it through

Once standing, Akio looks at the person ahead of him, a man wearing a gentleman's jacket and a top hat, wielding a pipe staff.

Never forget that

Finding his resolve, Akio charges forward with a fist ready to strike at the man.

We fight together

It is revealed that the man is none other than Sabo, Luffy's once-thought-dead brother.

I've always kept that memory

First, we see the Straw Hat Pirates jolly roger fluttering in the wind atop the Thousand Sunny. However, we return to Mika, the little girl's position had not changed. While she remained like this, images appeared in the foreground representing Mika's memories with her mother.

Of when I raised my head high

The first was when Mika first saw her mother when she finally found her at that Marine Base. Both were standing in her old room, both staring at the other with hesitation and confusion. It is followed by when Nami brought Mika to meet her father for the first time. Though she was worried, Mika peered from behind her mother to see fully the man. Luffy, on the other hand, grinned upon seeing their daughter.

Oh there is no way I'll forget that vast blue sky

Next came when Mika got to meet all her new family with Nami and Luffy nearby. After getting lost and hanging out with the Marines, Mika is reunited with her mother and father with Yuuka and Akio there as well. Next came the wedding day, where Mika stood with her parents as they made their vows.

Oh we sure have really come a long way

Now skipping to Sabaody Archipelago, the memory of Mika with Nami, and others, having fun at the amusement part appeared. It was replaced with Kuma's attack on her and Nami before being swatted away.

Through her arms, tears seeping through Mika's arms.

With our vows we made we'll carry through each day

In school on Amazon Lily, Mika comes rushing to hug her mother when she appears. Later, they fight with the Boa Sisters where Mika and Nami defend a petrified Luffy.

Mika began to tighten around herself as the tears kept flowing.

But even though we

Then came Marineford; Mika was running towards her mother before Nami yelled at her. The next memory was of them running, in a group, once they had Ace safely with them.

All have burdens we carry

Finally, when Mika arrived to see her mother only to find her dead.

And at this moment, Mika's tears were following faster and she seemed closed off to the world.

The sun will rise

Then, the sun shines through the open window, signaling the dawn. The wind also begins gently blowing through.

And shine its way to us and make it alright

On the cadenza still, the straw hat is suddenly lifted up. It lands on the bed in front of Mika, who is still curled up in sadness and loneliness. However, it appears she is not alone; by her side was Nami who was looking down upon her daughter lovingly. She placed her hand upon Mika's head, and Mika immediately looked up. Her eyes still full of tears but now also full of surprise.

Yes I believe it

Unfortunately, Nami was no longer there. But Mika now sees her father's straw hat on the bed.

The future tells me we will be one piece it's in my sight

Mika reaches out for the hat and picks it up. She begins staring into the dome as her tears cease falling. The young girl looks unsure but then, she starts seeing familiar faces appearing from out of the space.

So now together, let's set sail

First, Biri, behind chipperly. Akio followed next with a lighthearted smile. Brook was laughing joyfully. Lifting his sunglasses, Franky grins towards the girl. Next is Robin, smiling warmly.

Yes with just us, we will prevail

Then was Chopper, behaving cheerfully. Sanji came next and smirking. Appearing next was Usopp with a boastful grin. Zoro was second to last and smiling confidently. And finally, the last to see was her own father, Luffy. The man appeared looking away before turning to face the girl with his excited grin.

Never forget that

With her expression now filled with determination, Mika took the straw hat and place it on her head. Mika raises her head, revealing a fierceness similar to her father's.

We fight together!

Now filled with newfound energy, the straw hat donning Mika jumped off her bed towards her destiny.

Final scene: all the Straw Hat Pirates were heading for the Thousand Sunny. Luffy was ahead of the group and leading them forward with his left arm pumped into the air. On his shoulder, he is supporting Mika, who is also pumping her left arm up. Chopper and Usopp are around them, both jumping with excitement. Above them, Biri was flying joyfully. Running towards them, Akio looked as if he was going to join the group ahead. He may have been with Robin, Sanji, and Zoro who were following behind, striding confidently. Lastly, Brook and Franky keeping up the rear. They appeared to be celebrating with the skeleton-man playing on his violin.
