An elderly Zora, once queen of her people, is summoned from her long exile to help prevent a new Calamity: one of Hyrule's own doing. Throughout her efforts, she thinks back on how she played her own part in the rifts which now scour the land, and how it was motivated by one thing only: love.

Their scars recount tales of their journeys, their valor, and the sacrifices they made. The scars on Wild's palms, however, tell a different kind of story.

Link of Calatia wakes in a Sheikah Cryo-stasis bed centuries after defeating Mandrag Ganon. He discovers a futuristic Hyrule where technology matches the might of the ancients. The light spirits have abandoned Hyrule, plunging it into an ever-lasting night. Zelda's husband says that the light was stolen away. He says that the Twili are to blame. But Midna? This is set in an ancient time - where the "Empire of Hyrule" exists as a near-copy of the Roman Empire. Princess Zelda is the only child of the Emperor. Though the domain has seen incredibly peaceful times, her father becomes fearful at his daughter's wild behavior and refusal to settle down and produce an heir. To her dismay, he chooses a terrible man to be her husband.

The Zora race used to be proud allies/friends of the Hylians. When the Hero fell and the land was corrupted, the Zoras slowly became twisted and vicious. It was said the Hero of Legend managed to get along with some of them centuries ago. Link only knows they attack him each and every time he's near the water and he wants them to stop because he's on a quest. LU later.

One such friend will become something more. Sand seal races, thrills, and romance await.

Link, Navi and his friends are back with a new adventure. They must travel to the Zoras to retrieve the final spiritual stone before Ganondorf does. However, many obstacles stand in the way. A guardian figure goes rampant, thieves capture one of the children, a new enemy disrupts plans and Ganondorf comes to solidify his evil plans. Can the FIVE come together to save Hyrule?

Fan fic of a fan fic. Or in other words, a fanficseption! I edited and modified the scene when Young Link first meets Princess Zelda from SpartiateDienekes's 'Legends Retold: Ocarina of Time.' When her divine powers failed to manifest in time, her kingdom fell. On the run from the darkness, her powers finally appear, and the war is for the moment, put to a stop. But it came too late. Her knight sacrificed himself to save her life, and she was too late to save him. But the Hero's determination to defend his Princess was too powerful, and even death was forced to retreat.

In which Link is dead, ReDeads play ukuleles, the Happy Mask Salesman drives around on a quad bike listening to Queen and plotting to BRING DOWN THE GOVERNMENT, Dampé knocks people out with his shovel, Zelda is a tractor-driving murderer and that creepy windmill guy does something but we're not sure what.
