"What? No! Uh... I mean," Harry tried to say.
Boy, he was beginning to mess up right now. He took a second to catch his breath. Once he did, he was able to think better.
"What I meant to say was, sure, I am attracted to your beauty," he said. "BUT... what I truly like about you is you."
The look on Susan's face began to soften a little.
"You are special to me, and the reason for that is because of the kind of person you are. You're so friendly, caring, and best of all for me, understanding," Harry finished. "It was because of you and what you are in here..." Harry pointed to his heart. "that I was able to move on from the past and enjoy life anew. Susan, yes, you are pretty, there's no denying it. But inside, where it truly matters, you are, at least to me, a goddess."
At last Susan smiled brightly, to which Harry was quite relieved.
"Oh, Harry," Susan said lovingly before cozying up onto Harry's shoulder.
With that resolved, the two of them continued on towards their next class together.
