Chapter 1
(Menagerie)
Ozpin had come to Menagerie because he had heard about a young man that was immensely strong. The leader, Ghira Belladonna, had met him. "Hello, Ozpin." He said.
"Ghira," said Ozpin. "So where is he?"
"He lives just outside of the main village." Ghira led him to a huge house. "He helped clear out the forest. Even helped build this house and smithe." Ozpin was impressed. They came upon the front door and knocked on it.
They heard a faint, "coming." The door opened revealing, a tall young man with blonde hair and blue eyes, he was buffed and slightly tanned. He was in a white 'A-shirt', black cargo pants, boots, and a rust-red ironworker's apron. "Hey, Ghira." He said.
"Jaune, this is…" He started.
"Ozpin, Headmaster of Beacon." Jaune said, "I'm not impressed." He leaned against the door jamb, "why is Headmaster Ozpin here?"
"I would like for you to join my school." He said, Jaune just looked at him.
"Why would I go to your school?"
"Wouldn't you want to share your knowledge as an experienced huntsman?" Ghira paled.
"Huntsman?" Jaune said, "I hate the word. I have seen the worse of huntsmen, during my travels. The enslavement of Fauni, not protecting the smaller villages, only doing it for the money. Money's fine and dandy if you need it. But, half of them were bleeding the nearby villages dry."
"He doesn't like Hunters, especially for those reasons." Said Ghira.
"Mr. Williams," said Ozpin. "With your help, it will never happen again."
"I'll think about it," he said and started to walk back to his smithe.
"Well, there you have it." Said Ghira.
"I'll be honest with you. I need his help."
"Against Salem?" Ozpin looked at him, "that's the worst kept secret on the planet. Almost everyone knows about the war you two are in. This isn't about Beacon, this is about what he can do for you!"
"Ghira…"
"No, I should've figured it out ahead of time. The only reason you wanted him is that, just like everyone else, you heard about his battle against that elder Grimm Hydra. One of her pets, there is a reason why Callows is a paraplegic, and he wants Jaune. Kind of hard to move when a hundred-pound hammer crushes your spine. Don't get me started on Watts, he's still in a coma. " They walked away from the smithe, "well you met him, and he told you that he'd 'think about it'." With that, Ozpin left.
(With Jaune)
Jaune continued to work on armor, he was looking around his shop and saw the weapons he built. Everything was of great quality, just then someone came into the shop. It was Kali Belladonna, Ghira's wife. She was a very beautiful black cat fanus, dressed in robes and sandals. "Jaune?" She said, he looked over to see her.
"Oh, Mrs. Bella…" He started.
"I Told You To Call Me Kali!" She demanded, Jaune raised his hands and backed off.
"Okay, Kali. What can I do for you?"
"The guards need swords."
"How many?"
"A dozen." Jaune went to the back to get them. They were broad swords and super sharp. "These are very nice."
"Thank you. You want these delivered, or is someone coming to pick them up?"
"Someone is coming," she handed him a check. "I put a little extra in there for your work."
"Thank you, Kali." He said, she smiled and kissed him on the cheek.
After she left, Jaune closed the forge, went to his weight room, and lifted weights. Then he started to go into katas and then got cleaned up.
The next week, Jaune decided to go to Beacon to teach. He was in a T-shirt, cargo pants, boots, zipped up hoodie, and was carrying a case, duffle bag, and a mountain backpack. ' I don't even see why I am doing this.' He thought, 'I guess I just have to help.' The bullhead landed and he got off, he was looking around. The academy was looking like a castle, 'I guess I have to find his office.' So he went to look for Ozpin's office, and he got hopelessly lost.
Just then he had met up with a young woman, she had blond hair in a bun and teal eyes behind designer framed glasses. She was in a white, key-holed shirt, black bodice/ skirt combo, stockings, and pumps. "Can I help you?" She said.
"Uh yes, I'm looking for Headmaster Ozpin's office." He said. She looked up to him, he was almost a giant; around 6 feet 11 inches, he had broad shoulders, arms of a tree trunk, and legs that can run fast, jump high, kick mountains, and hold a lover close. (Basically, take Jotaro Kujo and merge him with silver age All Might) He was dressed in a muscle shirt, jeans, boots, fingerless gauntlets, and a sleeveless, hooded coat. He looked he could break her in half, in fun and not so fun ways.
"Um," she said. "You-You must be, Mr. Williams." He nodded, "the Headmaster is sex… uh, I mean, expecting you. F-Follow me." She gulped and walked in front of him and led him to the office.
(Ozpin's office)
Once they walked into the office they saw him Ozpin welcomed them both. "So I see you have accepted my offer." He said to Jaune.
"Let's get one thing straight Ozpin, I am NOT your errand boy, I will grade the students how I see fit, I will not tolerate bullying, I Am A Teacher, not some superhero! But, if my students are in trouble, I will rescue them and have them write an essay about what they did wrong. If you can't deal, tell me so I can leave."
"Mr. Williams," he said. "I agree, to everything." They shook hands.
"Okay, where do I set up?"
(Arrival Day)
Jaune was checking his lesson plans, he heard an explosion. He quickly ran out to see what happened.
He came upon a scene where a young woman was berating another one on the pavement. The girl on the ground was in a gothic outfit, with long boots, and in a red, hooded cape. She had black hair with red highlights and silver eyes. The one berating her was in all white, her dress, stockings, boots, and jacket. She had white hair and blue eyes with a scar over the right one. There were cases and bottles everywhere. The bottles had dust in them and one of them was opened. "Don't You Know How Dangerous This Dust Is!" She said, "You Dolt!" Jaune came up to them.
"She's not the only one." He said, just then she turned around to berate the person when she saw him. "First, why on Ohm, are You Carrying Dust?" She got mad.
"My weapons use dust cartridges!"
"Oh wow, I'm so impressed. NOT!" She was insulted, "just because you use dust doesn't mean you can throw it around willy-nilly!"
"Don't You Know Who I Am?" She said, Jaune rolled his eyes.
"Oh, here we go! Another person thinking they are going to impress me by their name. No, who are you?"
"I am Weiss Schnee of the Schnee clan! Heir to the Schnee Dust Company!" She said, he looked at her.
"Am I supposed to be impressed? Cause I'm not." He said, "Jaune Williams." Both of the girls paled, this was the guy that killed an elder Grimm Hydra. "Nice to meet you, piece of advice; no name is worth losing everything for your family! Put That Dust Somewhere Secured So Shit Like This Don't Happen Again!" Then he walked off, "idiotic spoiled bitch!" Weiss was beaten down and someone went over to help her. The other girl wanted to help her but she didn't want to risk it.
(Auditorium)
Everyone was inside awaiting Ozpin, the teachers were on the stage sitting down, and one of them was Jaune. Everyone was whispering about seeing him.
"Holy Crap, that's Jaune Williams!"
"He was the one the killed that elder Grimm!"
"I heard, the White Fang don't fuck with him."
"I heard he saved a village of Faunas from an army of Grimm and he was poisoned." Jaune heard that one.
"It was food poison, bad shrimp." He said. Just then, Ozpin had shown up and he made his speech.
Later, everyone was settling in for the night. A busty blond girl was near the silver-eyed girl. They were in sleeping clothes. The blond was in a yellow 'A'-shirt, black, 'booty' shorts, and socks. She also had lavender eyes. "So, I like this." She said, the silver-eyed girl sighed, she was in a pink tank top and white pajama pants with pink spots.
"I don't know, dad might not like all the boys." She said.
"I heard you met, Williams. What's he like?"
"Yang, I didn't even talk to him! He was too busy chewing out some heiress." Just then, said heiress went over to them.
"He did not!" She said.
"Let's just say I was the one in a puddle, and it wasn't raining."
"Whoa! Go Ruby!" Said Yang.
"Look, I don't know why you have a 10-foot pole up your ass, I don't care! But, you need to cut this; 'I'm better than you' stuff out before you get killed, and it will happen." She said, "Good night Ms. Schnee." With that, Ruby went to sleep.
