Part 21: Wedding time
Inside a suit store not far from Kazuya and Chizurus apartment building. Kazuya looked in the mirror with a nervous look on his face as he was being fitted for his suit, "Come on man stay calm," Kibe said who was sitting in a chair next to Kuri.
"Yeah you should listen to your best mans advice," Kuri said looking a little annoyed as he looked around the store.
"Come on man you still down about that," Kibe said before sighing. It had only been a few days since Kazuya had told them Kibe would be his best man at the wedding.
"Sorry Kuri," Kazuya said with a nervous smile on his face.
"Hey look at the bright side, you'll have a date for the wedding," Kibe said smiling and Kuri smiled as well as he thought of his girlfriend Ruka.
It wouldn't be long till she would be going to college and turns out she had chosen to go the same one as them. Not long after she revealed this she asked Kuri to go on date with her while apologizing that she ever hurt him. Kuri told her he was okay now because they had been good friends since meeting up again.
Now both of Kazuyas friends are in a relationship with former rental girlfriends, "Yeah your right, I heard shes hanging out with Chizuru and Sumi today," Kuri said looking at Kazuya.
"Yeah Chizuru was telling me yesterday that they were going looking at dresses today," Kazuya said before someone brought over a suit for him, "Oh thanks," Kazuya said before going into a changing room and trying it on.
After picking the right suit that three of them left the store with their purchases, "Hey have you and Chizuru decided to write your own vows for the wedding?" Kibe asked.
"Yeah but I'm still working on mine," Kazuya said rubbing the back of his head.
"Hey theres nothing to worry about, you still got plenty of time," Kuri said smiling.
Over at a familiar building where Kazuya and Kibe went rock climbing before. Their girlfriends were currently in the changing room after finishing their time there, "You did really well for your first time Sumi," Chizuru said.
"Really, I didn't really get that far on my first try," Sumi said.
"Don't worry Kazuya was the same but he got better after practice," said Chizuru before hearing her phone go off in her bag.
"Is that him," Ruka said as Chizuru looked at her phone before she smiled.
"Nope, but it did come with some good news," said Chizuru before they finished changing and left the building.
"The movie I got the part for doesn't start filming until a few days after I come back from my honeymoon," Chizuru said looking relieved, "Good think I had Kazuya look over the contract," she said.
"So is he really working as your agent?" Ruka asked smiling.
"He mostly helps look over the contracts and helps me arrange the days where I'm okay to go filming," Chizuru said, "Though I told him I'm not going to be acting forever," she said.
"But didn't you say it was your dream," Sumi said looking a little surprised.
"Yeah but with getting married it also got me thinking about the future and I want to start a family someday when Kazuya takes over the store," Chizuru said.
"How are you feeling about getting married?" Ruka asked as both her and Sumi looked at her and she smiled.
"Honestly I am a little nervous, but I'm also really excited," she said smiling at them before they decided go for lunch.
A few weeks later the day for the wedding arrived. Kazuyas friends and Family were there. With Kazuays parents, grandmother and Chizurus grandmother sitting in the front row. Kibe, Sumi, Kuri and Ruka were sitting in the the row next to them. Then everyone stood as Chizuru started walking down the aisle.
Kazuya looked surprised as she reached him, "You look beautiful," he said as she stood in front of him smiling.
"Thanks, you look handsome," she said before the two of them smiled at each other before the ceremony began.
"The couple has decided to write their own vows," the priest said before Kazuya took a breath before speaking.
"Chizuru when I was feeling the worst you were there for me and ever since we met I felt happy when ever I saw you," he said, "I felt lucky that I get to be with you and I will do my best to make sure your happy for the rest of our life's," he said smiling.
"Kazuya, you say your lucky to have have me but some days I think I'm the lucky one," Chizuru said, "For a time my dream of being an actress was all that I wanted but now I want to spend the rest of my life with you," she said.
"I love you Kazuya Kinoshita," she said smiling and Kazuya smiled back at her while his grandmother was wiping her eyes in her seat when Sayuri passed her a tissue.
"Kazuya Kinoshita, do you take Chizuru to be your wife," the priest said.
"I do," Kazuya said.
"Do you Chizuru Ichinose, take Kazuya to be your husband," he said looking at Chizuru.
"I do," she said smiling.
"You are now husband and wife, you may kiss the bride," he said before Kazuya kissed Chizuru and she kissed him back while hugging him. The crowd cheered while the couple smiled at them.
The reception was held in a hotel and Kibe was giving his best man speech, "Ive known Kazuya for a long time and I have to say the happiest ive seen him is after he met Chizuru," he said.
"But thanks to her I was also able to meet my own girlfriend so it's a good thing these two ended up living in the same apartment building," he said as everyone smiled, "The only thing I have left to say is congratulations Kazuya and Chizuru," he said holding up his glass.
"Congratulations," everyone else said holding up their glasses.
Much later Kazuya was sitting at the table while mostly everyone was on the dance floor. Chizuru was at another part of the table talking with her grandmother, "How are you," his father said sitting next to him.
"Feeling great, did you enjoy the food," Kazuya said.
"Yes it was nice," his father said while Kazuya took a drink, "You really surprised me," he said making Kazuya look confused.
"You were able to manage your life well, got a good job and found a woman you love," he said.
"Yeah, she really is great," Kazuya said smiling.
"I'm proud of you Kazuya, you did well," his father said making him look surprised.
Kazuya then smiled, "Thanks dad," he said smiling.
"But be ready, your grandmothers going to start asking when your going to have children," he said.
"Thanks," Kazuya said as the two of them smiled before Chizuru grabbed Kazuyas hands.
"Care to dance?" She asked.
"Definitely, talk to you later dad," Kazuya said as he got out of his chair.
"Go on, enjoy your wedding," his father said before Kazuya and Chizuru walked onto the dance floor. They danced slow with Kazuya having his arms around Chizurus waist and she had her arms around his neck.
They noticed Ruka resting her head on Kuris shoulder as they danced. Kibe and Sumi were sitting at a table and had just kissed. They noticed the newly married couple staring and they waved at their friends.
"I wonder how long will be waiting for their wedding," Chizuru said before looking at her husband.
"Maybe he will surprise her at graduation," Kazuya said before looking at his wife, "Are you happy miss Kinoshita," he said.
Chizuru smiled before hugging him, "Definitely mister Kinoshita," she said before the two of them kissed.
