Ihaine07: It was so intense, yes haha

Chapter Thirty-four

Bad news

Sakura could see a lot of light through her eyelids, but she didn't open her eyes. She breathed in slowly and the scent of roses overwhelmed her.

Suddenly, memories of the night before came to her mind and an electric shock ran through her body, activating all her nerves and making her hair stand on end. She felt an arm tighten its grip around her hip and heard Syaoran's voice.

"Are you awake already? Did you sleep well?"

She yawned and snuggled more against him.

"Yes, I slept great."

She couldn't feel any clothes on his chest so she opened her eyes slightly, seeing the naked torso where she was lying. Then she woke up with a start.

"Are we naked?"

"Of course we are. We were tired last night and didn't even bother to put on our pyjamas," Syaoran replied, chuckling.

She felt a scorching heat on her face and pulled the sheet up to her nose. Syaoran laughed again.

"Don't hide so much, it's not cold," he said, pulling the sheet back.

She grunted, he was still chuckling and it annoyed her. Syaoran crawled down on the bed until they were face to face.

"Is it still embarrassing for you if I see you with your clothes off after what happened last night?" he asked softly, looking into her eyes.

She reddened.

"I think I'll always be embarrassed."

He moved closer to her face, pulling the sheet aside just enough to kiss her on the lips.

"I was going to propose a shower together," he said, raising an eyebrow.

Sakura swallowed nervously.

"What if Eriol and Takashi come?"

"It's early, I don't think they'll come yet... though I don't see anything wrong with them knowing that you're having a shower with me."

"Because you don't feel embarrassed, but I do," she complained, pursing her lips.

Syaoran snorted with resignation.

"All right, then I'll shower first. In the top drawer are your pyjamas, you can put those on to be more comfortable until you leave," he explained, pointing to one of the pieces of furniture.

"My pyjamas?" she repeated in confusion.

He had already stood up and was taking out two towels from one of the drawers, leaving one on the cabinet for Sakura.

"Yes, I brought the one you had at my place for when you slept here," he murmured, turning to wink at her before heading out the door.

When she heard the sound of water, Sakura sighed and sat up in bed.

Her heartbeat quickened when she saw the purple rose on one of the bedside tables. She reached out and took it, bringing it to her nose. It had the same scent she remembered and was so soft she could hardly believe it was treated.

A while later Sakura was lost in thought, still smelling the flower. Her body temperature started to rise as she thought of all the things Syaoran had done to her in that very bed only hours before. She brought the rose to her lips and brushed the petals across them, just as he had done.

"I'm sure this was another one of his fantasies," she murmured to herself, sighing.

"It was."

Sakura startled at the sound of his voice. She hadn't noticed that the noise from the shower had disappeared, nor that he had reentered the room.

Syaoran took a few steps towards her, a crooked smile on his lips. He loved seeing her so nervous and blushing because of him. He held the rose between his fingers and let it fall to her shoulders, brushing it against her skin.

"We are not done with this flower. There are so many more things we can do with it," he whispered, catching her lips with his.

Sakura gasped as she felt his tongue trying to deepen the kiss and she reached up to wrap her arms around his neck, pulling him closer and tangling her fingers through his damp hair.

He dropped the towel tied around his waist and leaned over her, still kissing her. At that moment, the only thing separating their bodies was the thin sheet covering Sakura. She ran her hands down his back, blushing as she realised that Syaoran was completely naked. He pulled away slightly, bit her nose affectionately and looked into her eyes.

"How do you feel?"

Sakura blinked several times, confused at his question.

"Fine, as always."

"Tell me the truth. Last night you were hurt quite badly and I want to know if you're okay," Syaoran said, frowning.

She smiled, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"You made me forget about the pain with your kisses, Syaoran."

A beautiful smile curved his lips.

"I'm glad to hear it. Go on, get in the shower now or I won't be able to resist anymore."

Sakura giggled and jumped up, running to the cabinet to grab the towel. As she moved, she felt a painful twinge in her belly. She tried to hide it, but Syaoran knew her well enough to notice.

"I'm sorry, Sakura."

She turned around, already wrapped in the towel, and saw him moving the sheets, fixing his eyes on a small spot. She took a few steps toward him, a little surprised.

"Is that normal? I thought it was just a couple of drops of blood."

Syaoran sighed.

"I don't know, I guess it depends on the person. Other than you, I've only been with one other virgin girl and she didn't bleed at all."

"Meiling?" Sakura asked.

He nodded.

"I told you then that she probably lied to me and wasn't a virgin."

She crouched down and held his face in her hands.

"Don't be sad like that, I'm okay. I'm just a little sore, but I'm sure it'll pass in no time."

"I hate that I hurt you," he mumbled, lowering his gaze.

"Well, don't. Last night was... I think it couldn't have been better, Syaoran," she admitted, smiling.

He cupped her face with one hand, searching her eyes.

"I'm going to go make breakfast," he said, and they both stood up.

Sakura pulled her pyjamas out of the drawer he had told her to and locked herself in the bathroom. He changed the sheets and went to the kitchen, letting out a long sigh. Syaoran was just finishing making toast when he noticed the smell of his own shampoo and two arms wrapped around him.

"I smell like you now," Sakura whispered close to his ear.

He smirked at her words.

"I hope you don't use that excuse to touch yourself when you go to your flat," he said as he glanced sideways at her to see her reaction.

As expected, Sakura turned completely red.

"Syaoran!" she protested, slapping him on the back.

He started laughing, placing the breakfast on the table. The two had just sat down when the front door opened.

"How did the lovers spend the night?" Eriol asked in a mocking voice as he reached them.

"That's none of your business," Syaoran replied with a growl.

Takashi sat down next to him, groaning.

"We've got some bad news, guys."

Sakura choked on her orange juice and Syaoran shot a hateful glare at his friend.

"Don't say that! You scared her, Takashi. What's wrong?"

"Meiling and Chiharu have been talking on the phone and... she's coming to visit next week to be with all of you," said Eriol, glancing at Sakura.

"And she's going to sleep over at your place," Takashi added.

Her face went pale.

"Shit... we'll have to tell her about us," Syaoran muttered.

Sakura stared at him with frightened eyes.

"Do you think she'll react well?"

"On the contrary, I'm sure she'll be very angry with you," he replied, wrinkling his nose.

"Yes, that's most likely," Takashi said seriously.

"What if we don't tell her?" Sakura suggested in a shaky voice.

"She's going to find out if she spends two whole days here. It's better if she knows now and you get rid of that problem for once," answered Eriol.

"You're right," Syaoran admitted.

He glanced at Sakura again and sighed.

"Calm down. If she dares to say anything bad to you, she'll deal with me."

Sakura swallowed, still nervous.

"I'm sure she'll accuse us of being together long before and call us liars... and she'll take it out on me, Syaoran."

"She wouldn't dare, I won't leave you alone with her," he growled, furrowing his brow.

Takashi and Eriol stared at him in surprise.

"You plan to sleep oi the girls' flat with Sakura while Meiling is there? You've lost your mind," Takashi commented, snorting.

"Sakura can stay that whole weekend with us, so she won't have to put up with that bore," Syaoran replied, getting up to clear the table.

She put her hands to her face, sighing heavily.

"I have a feeling we're going to get in trouble for this."

"Me too," Takashi added, frowning.

Syaoran came out of the kitchen and approached the table again, placing a hand on his girlfriend's shoulder.

"Change your clothes, Sakura. I'll walk you home."

She nodded and went into his room to put her dress back on. Syaoran took the opportunity to crouch down next to his friends and speak softly.

"You have to help me figure out the best way to tell Meiling... I'll talk to her as soon as she arrives, so that when she sees Sakura, she'll already know."

"And what does it matter if she gets angry? Fuck what Meiling thinks," Eriol growled grumpily.

Syaoran grimaced.

"I don't care, but I don't want her to try to get revenge somehow."

"And how could she get revenge?" Takashi asked curiously.

Syaoran stared at the closed door of his room, squinting.

"Well... I can think of a couple of ways, and all of them would make Sakura feel bad. That's why I have to try to make Meiling react as well as possible."

The door opened and a rather smiling Sakura came out.

"See you guys tomorrow," she said as a farewell.

Eriol and Takashi waved a hand, watching her and Syaoran walk out the front door.

"We'll have to keep an eye out. That girl's not right in her head," Eriol muttered, shaking his head.

"Yes, I will tell Chiharu to tell me everything Meiling tells her about this," Takashi replied thoughtfully.
