━━ Tequila!

The shuttle landed with limited difficulty and Reagan was the first one to high tail it out of the tiny hell hole. Although she planned to live her life in space, the small shuttles were not her favorite mode of transportation. She felt like she couldn't breathe, but it wasn't because of how much Starfleet stuffed them full. It had more to do with the individuals making up the crowd.

She turned around to see Bethany and Nyota following after her, both looking around with equal amounts of excitement and caution. Bethany looked more cautious of her surroundings as Reagan caught her glancing over at Captain Pike every so often, searching for approval. Nyota, on the other hand, looked more than ready for a drink and a good time just like Reagan.

The three women linked arms and followed the rest of the cadets to a small-town bar that looked to be the most decent building there. Reagan dragged her two friends over to the karaoke machine where they met up with a couple of cadets in Reagan's weapons design class. While they exchanged hellos and made introductions Nyota volunteered to order drinks.

"What will it be, fellas?"

The boys ordered quickly with two Cardassian sunrises and one Budweiser. The group looked over to Bethany who still looked slightly out of place. Reagan began to slowly feel bad for taking the girl out. She remembered her first day at Starfleet and how nerve-racking it had been. She only hoped that the girl learned to be better at social outings, especially as Reagan's roommate.

"Do you want some water?" Reagan asked, trying to make Bethany feel included.

"Oh no thank you," Bethany said politely before looking at the menu. "Can I get a Kalvanian Fire Tea and a shot of tequila?"

The group stared at the brunette, "Can you handle that?"

Reagan shot one of the boys a look, but Bethany just smiled, "I was raised in Los Angeles. What do you think I did for fun?"

Reagan laughed at Bethany and wrapped her hand around the girl's waist, "My kind of girl. I'll take a Budweiser to start Nyota, thanks."

Nyota left with the orders and the group settled into their seats. While the guys were busy scanning the room for hot chicks, Reagan sent a message to her superior that she already regretted being sent on this assignment. Spock replied with only a logical explanation for why she was the best candidate which pissed her off.

Before Reagan could send him something she would regret she felt eyes on her and turned to see a young genius staring at her. She sent him a wink before turning to look at Bethany. She found her roommate engrossed in the menu, no doubt looking at appetizers to accompany their beverages.

"Why don't we sing some Karaoke?"

Bethany looked like a deer caught in the headlights, "Wh-what?"

The boys immediately perked up, "I would love to see you guys up there!"

Reagan rolled her eyes as she watched all of them become excited, in more ways than one, "Why don't we see who can get the crowd going more?"

"Is that a challenge Rin?"

"Only if you want it to be, junior."

The group picked straws and to the girls delight and the boys dismay, the boys were going first. Reagan and Bethany moved away from the slightly over excited men, so they couldn't hear their strategy. The ladies had already come up with the perfect song choice that would make the boys look like the idiots they are.

While the boys got ready to perform Reagan thought it would be a great idea to introduce Bethany to her favorite Russian. She pulled her roommate towards the young cadet that sat in a corner quietly drinking his vodka, although she was not sure how he had gotten his hands on it. Part of her suspected a fake ID, but she couldn't think of anyone stupid enough to still create them after last time.

"Bethany I would like you to meet Pavel Chekov. The finest youngster on this planet."

Chekov blushed a crimson red as he held out his hand to Bethany, "Pleasure to meet you."

"Likewise Pavel." Bethany smiled, shaking his hand. "Aren't you a little young to be drinking?"

Reagan snorted, "He's probably the only one who could hold his liquor and a conversation with a lady."

"I know I can do at least one of those," Pavel said with a shy smile. "The other I'm not too sure about."

Bethany patted his arm, "I agree with that statement."

They exchanged some more pleasantries, before the sound of stupidity filled the room. The boys had made their presence known as they went up on stage. They must have gone to get some liquid luck because they were practically stumbling around on stage when the music began. Their song choice was perfect for them. They were murdering the classic song 'Shots' by LMFAO.

It was a classic song and one that Reagan's parents listened to often. She was surprised they hadn't chosen a more recent hit, but in the end it didn't matter. The crowd was still laughing as they sang off key and out of unison. Reagan cheered with the rest of the crowd when they finally finished.

"Top that."

Bethany smirked, "Oh we plan too."

Together the girls went on stage and punched in their song of choice. It didn't take the boys long to realize they had been beaten when the classic song, "Tequila" came on by The Champs. The girls had fun with it as they went around the room clinking their drinks to others. Reagan was woefully satisfied in her victory when the song ended.

"I think the next round is on them." Reagan said in Bethany's ear.

Bethany sat down letting out a snort, "They should have seen this coming. It's a classic!"

Regan smiled as Bethany finally started to relax. Until a cadet near the bar swings his fist toward what Reagan assumed to be a local, starting a brawl. Reagan pulled Bethany to her as the other boys tried to help, but it only made matters worse. All the cadets watched and winced as punch after punch was sent toward the young man, until a sharp whistle caused all the commotion to cease.

"Outside, all of you!" Pike announced. "Now!"
