Team Rocket vs Team Plasma

"Why hello there my dear nurse, how are you today?" Alder gave quite the seductive smirk to Nurse Joy causing her to sweat nervously.

"I-I'm doing just fine today, thank you!"

"Well in that case how would you like to call it early today and head to my champion suite in the hotel next door?!" Alder leaned over the desk as Nurse Joy began backing away.

"I-I'm afraid I'm too busy, sorry mister Champion sir!"

"Too busy? But you're the boss! You can literally leave whenever you want!" Alder exclaimed before feeling somebody forcefully grab his ear.

"That's enough Alder, do you want me to spend the night in prison again?"

"Why Officer Jenny how nice to-" Alder paused as he was now looking the man simply known as Agent Looker directly in the eyes. "Agent Looker!"

Alder quickly straightened up and put on a serious face. "What brings you back to Unova?"

"Quite the dreadful news I'm afraid, my man inside Team Rocket told me that every operative is being withdrawn from across the world to gather right here in the Unova region and outside this very city no less! They're supposedly going to war with Team Plasma, this is our chance to nab the big fish of both organizations but I need your help!"

"Why me? I was about to score with this lovely lady!" Alder gave Nurse Joy a smirk before Looker slapped him.

"Focus! You're the Champion as much it pains me to say. I'm going to need you to come with me to the Desert Resort and I want you to call your friends in the Elite Four to help us out!"

"Oh uh... sure thing!" Alder reached into his pocket and removed his Xtransceiver however as soon as he did the power went off within the entire building! People began panicking before Nurse Joy and Looker spoke out.

"Everyone calm down!"

"It's just a power outage, everything will be fine!" However Looker noticed people panicking in the streets outside causing him to quickly race outside and noticing that it wasn't just the Pokemon Center but the entire city was shut down as if something were draining all of the electricity! Alder soon stepped outside to join him with a grim expression across his face.

"They aren't coming, I can't get a signal!"

"And you don't own anything fast enough to get you to the next city and back within a few minutes?" Looker asked only for Alder to shake his head. Looker withdrew his own communication device and spoke into it. "This is Agent Looker reporting in, can anyone hear me?" No answer was coming informing him that somebody had cut down communication lines, whoever the mastermind behind this was somebody of great intelligence. They were deliberately keeping people outside the city from knowing about what was going on until it was too late!

"Then I guess it's just us," Looker sighed as he looked towards the north before his head quickly jerked as he heard a familiar shout.

"What's going on?!" Ash cried out as people pushed past him and the others.

"Pika pi!"

"I'm not sure but my Pokegear's not getting a signal!" Brock was holding his Pokegear high above his head in the hopes of getting at least one bar but it was to no avail.

"The world is ending, judgement day is upon us!" Iris panicked and began flailing her arms about before Cilan calmly placed his hands on her shoulder.

"Now now I'm sure there's a logical reason for all of this!"

"...Team Plasma." Hilda growled. "It's got to be them who else would?"

"But why would Team Plasma cut the power to an entire city like this? They're trying to recruit people not incite panic." Brock pondered.

"For some malevolent scheme," Looker spoke up as he pushed through the crowd, revealing his and Alder's presence to the group. "Hello Ash, Brock."

"Agent Looker!" The two boys shouted simultaneously.

"Pika pi!"

"Croa..."

"Excuse me but whose this?" Hilda questioned while Iris and Cilan nodded alongside her.

"Oh you must be Ash's new friends!" Looker spoke up before taking a light bow. "I'm Agent Looker of the International Police and I'm afraid I have some dire news, Team Rocket and Team Plasma are going to war outside this very city! I hate to ask this of you but Ash, would you be willing to assist Alder and I in putting a stop to it? Communications are down and I can't contact any backup nor can Alder reach the Elite Four on account of that, you and that Pikachu of yours are quite the powerful force from what I recall and I could use somebody like you on our side."

"Looker's right, Ashton. We can definitely use you!" Alder exclaimed.

"Of course I'll help!"

"As will I." Brock stated as he stepped forward.

"Don't forget about us, we'll help too!" Iris declared as she and Cilan stepped forward.

"And me-" Hilda stepped forward before Ash held out his arm.

"You should stay here, it's too dangerous for you."

"Like hell I am! My brother's out there and I intend on rescuing him before he gets himself killed!"

"I'll keep an eye on her," Iris offered. "You know she'll likely just follow us anyways. It's safer this way."

"Then it's settled!" Looker pointed down the block. "Thankfully my jeep has more than enough room for all of us, let's go!"

The Team Rocket trio popped out from a nearby alleyway. "Was that box lunch guy?" Meowth asked.

"Indeed but he said something about Team Rocket being here and in a war with Team Plasma?" James questioned.

"Why hasn't Pierce contacted us about it then? He sent us away to do our own thing and hasn't even bothered to contact us!"

"Maybe the signal's dead?" Meowth suggested with a shrug as he looked at their communication device.

"I say let's stowaway in the back of the jeep!" James suggested. "They're going where we're needed, we'll find out what's going on and then help the boss if he needs it!"

"Good idea!" Jessie and Meowth cried out before the three stealthily followed the group towards the jeep before leaping on into the back and laying flat on their stomachs. Looker glanced back as if he saw something but didn't say anything as he started up the jeep and began driving the group out of Castelia and towards the northern desert!

"Alright everyone, listen up!" Ghetsis addressed the large gathering of Team Plasma members while six individuals dressed in robes of a similar fashion to Ghetsis' own surrounded him. The three ninja were also present on his left while on his right were Colress and the black knight.

"Something's wrong here, where's Lord N?" Brooke questioned from the front of the crowd before Chase silenced her.

"Show some respect, Ghetsis is speaking!"

"My friends and loyal followers, the great evil known as Team Rocket has arrived in the region!" Several gasps of terror could be heard amongst those gathered. "You're all to fight them, there is a powerful artifact here that can under no circumstances fall into their hands! You're to give it your all for the safety and future of the Unova region, should they get their hands on it it'll mean doom for the Unova region and even the world!"

"You can count on us Ghetsis!" Chase shouted with an eager grin.

"Why's this artifact so important? What exactly is it?!" Brooke asked before Chase elbowed her.

"Shh!"

"Some of you might not survive," Ghetsis glanced towards Brooke as he said that, the blonde gulped nervously in response. "But know that you're giving your life for the future of all Pokemon and humankind! For there must be war for peace to be won!"

"For Lord Ghetsis!" One of the sages raised up his hand.

"For Lord Ghetsis!" The ninja copied him as the other sages followed. The black knight stood there in silence before slowly raising his hand, Colress gave him a curious look at that but shrugged it off, figuring he'd 'fix' that when they got back to the castle.

"Zinzolin, you're to lead the troops! I'm taking a squad into the Resort ruins so we can reach that meteorite and be gone before Team Rocket makes their way here."

"I'm afraid it's too late for that, sir!" The older sage pointed off into the distance as a well dressed individual stood with a menacing looking Persian by his side with a heavy platoon of men and women dressed in similar uniforms part from a select few who wore either gray, purple, red, or white versions rather than the standard black worn by the grunts.

"Team Plasma, you foolish clowns don't know what you're getting into! I already have branches established in Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Kalos and even the Orange Islands! You can't stop me from taking what's mine, Unova will be our much like the rest of the world so says I, Giovanni!"

"Hail Giovanni!" Attila shouted before giving the Plasma grunts a sinister smirk. "I'm gonna enjoy mopping the floor with these clowns!"

"Save the trash talk for later, let's focus on beating them!" Hun grinned.

"You two, you're with me." Giovanni suddenly spoke up as he gestured towards the two.

"Me?! But I wanna fight!" Attila whined like a five year old being told he couldn't play with his toy.

"There will be plenty of that, we're going right into the thick of it!" Giovanni released a Rhyperior from his Pokeball. "Once Archer tells everyone else to charge, you're following Rhyperior and I into the ruins themselves. There is a massive source of energy down there that we can't afford falling into the wrong hands!"

"Which is why I'm also tagging along, I'm the only one left who knows what it's capable of." Pierce smirked.

"And I'm coming along for back up!" Domino added.

"Knight, grab your men. You're coming with me!"

"Yes my lord," Black Knight waved his hand as he gestured for Chase and Brooke to come up. "Where's Brick?"

"Probably dead if he hasn't shown up by now, that was a heavy explosion after all." Chase shrugged while Brooke gasped.

"Don't say that!"

The knight was silent before turning around as they followed Ghetsis down into the ruins.

"Volca!"

"W-What was that?!" Brooke quickly clung against Chase as a Pokemon's cry echoed throughout the ruins.

Haxorus let out a growl as he stared deeper off into the ruins.

"Volcarona they live out here in the desert ruins." The knight spoke up before shaking his head once more.

"No seriously how do you know all of this?" Brooke narrowed her eyes suspiciously. Ghetsis narrowed his eyes at her before he tapped his cane.

"Enough questions, come along!" They began progressing deeper into the cave before a loud rumble was heard and a large metallic snake Pokemon burst from the ground with a loud roar, Attila and Hun leaped off the back before giving off a smirk as their eyes landed on the group.

"Hi there, I'm Attila!"

"And I'm Hun."

"And we're the last things you're ever gonna see!"

"Entei!"

The legendary Pokemon burst from his Pokeball with a mighty roar.

"You're wrong about that for I am the last one that you'll see, huzzah!" The knight held out his sword before Ghetsis grabbed hold of his arm.

"No knight, I need you. Brooke and Chase, you stay here and handle this."

"Wait is he really abandoning us?! We won't last five minutes against this!" Brooke exclaimed.

"I'll gladly give my life to ensure that Unova remains at peace!" Chase grabbed at a Pokeball and threw it forward. "Go Heatmor!"

"Goodness!" Iris gasped as the jeep arrived at the Desert Resort. Countless Plasma and Rocket grunts were at war with each other, a few along with their Pokemon were already motionless on the ground and it didn't appear as if they were going to stop anytime soon.

"Alder, I believe you can handle the small fry all by yourself?" Looker motioned towards the various grunts that remained.

"Of course, Bouffalant let's ride!" Alder released his buffalo before climbing onto it's back, he reached back and gave it's rear a light slap resulting in it letting out a battle cry as it stampeded towards the battleground. Ash could make out Alder releasing five more Pokemon once they got there and a few grunts from both sides were already fleeing at the sight of a champion amongst them while others could be seen blasting through the sky as Bouffalant charged through them!

"Ash my inside man says that the source of what they're after is inside those ruins! Whatever's down there we can't let them have it!" Looker exclaimed.

"You can count on us, Looker!" Ash grinned as he and the others hopped out of the jeep before the ninja trainers suddenly appeared before them, a Bisharp and Weavile standing by each of them as they gave the group serious but deadly looks.

"You aren't going anywhere!"

"Lord Ghetsis wants any and all assailants executed!"

"Ash forget about these three, we'll handle it!" Brock called out as he, Iris and Cilan stood with their Pokeballs at the ready.

"You sure?"

"Yes, if Looker says whatever down there is important then you should go with him to ensure that Team Rocket or Plasma doesn't get it!" Brock shouted.

"Be careful Ash!"

"I hope you find your brother down there," Cilan added on as he gave Hilda a nod before the three turned to face the grunts.

"Croagunk, I need you!"

"Go Druddigon!"

"Leavanny let's show them a proper evaluation!"

Ash was shocked to see Cilan using a Pokemon that he hadn't seen them using before but he wasn't going to question it right then. He turned to face Looker before giving him a nod as the two continued making their way towards the Desert Resort. Hilda began following them before the sand suddenly sucked her beneath the ground and the brunette disappeared from sight!

"Ahhhh!" Chase was flung across the room before landing in a bruised and defeated heap next to Heatmor and Darmanitan, remaining motionless as he fell into a state of unconsciousness. Brooke fell onto her back and began rapidly stumbling backwards after Beartic fell, her face full of fear as she knew what was going to happen.

"Oh Arceus, forgive me for any wrong that I've done." Brooke closed her eyes as Attila cocked his head with a smirk before throwing out his arm.

"Eliminate her with Fire Blast!" Brooke clenched her fists as Attila shouted out the order, she could feel the heat rapidly soaring towards her before suddenly stopping resulting in her opening her eyes before letting out an ear shattering scream as Brick had finally appeared and was now motionless on the ground in front of her with embers flickering across his body. He had apparently given his life to save hers.

"Brick, no!"

"What the-?! Well you're next girly, Entei do it again!"

Entei let out a loud roar as he charged up another fire attack before a powerful bolt of electricity suddenly fired at him, the Fire type legendary let out a pained shout and dropped to his knees for a moment before looking up with a deep growl as it's eyes locked onto Pikachu's body.

"You! Hun that's the kid that the boss warned us, the brat with a Pikachu!"

Hun looked at Entei before looking towards Pikachu. "I must say I assumed those three buffoons were full of it but that Pikachu truly is incredible. Shame that it must die."

Attila smirked. "Oh I'm really looking forward to this!" Attila grinned. "Entei use Lava Plume!" An explosion surrounded Entei as fire and smog surrounded the area around him resulting in Pikachu letting out a cough.

"Pikachu close your eyes and use your ears, Volt Tackle!"

"Pika pika pika!" Pikachu chanted as he raced across the ruin while his body began glowing bright with electricity surrounding his body, the electrical mouse threw his body up against Entei resulting in the Fire type uttering out a loud roar before collapsing to his side in defeat!

"Entei?!" Attila clasped his hands against the side of his face in shock. "It can't be!"

"Enough talk, let's handle this a different way! Steelix!" Steelix let out a loud roar.

"Skarmory, Muk!" Attila cried out as he threw additional Pokeballs forward.

Looker watched on as Ash pulled back his cap before throwing out his arm. "Pikachu use Thunderbolt full power!"

"Pika... chuuu!" Pikachu unleashed a powerful thunderbolt that quickly surrounded the Rocket agents and their Pokemon, giving them quite the shock! They all stumbled about with dizzy expressions across their faces before collapsing in defeat. Looker glanced towards Steelix in particular before looking back at Pikachu.

"Odd but I've seen stranger things." Looker walked over and plucked Entei's ball right out of Attila's hand before pocketing it into his coat. "No idea how they got their hands on an Entei but I'll make sure it gets set free. As for you two," Looker placed handcuffs on the passed out Rocket agents before recalling their Pokemon to their Pokeballs and proceeding to lock them away in a steel container.

"Word of advise, blondie. Ditch these Plasma goons before you end up like your friends." Looker addressed, Ash glanced towards Brooke before shivering lightly as his eyes noticed Brick's motionless body. He didn't like the guy but he certainly didn't wish ill on him! Chase let out a pained grunt from where he laid showcasing that he was still alive but there were more important things to worry about as Ash and Looker continued deeper into the cave!

"Chase, Chase!" Brooke quickly rushed towards her teammate as she began attempting to wake him up and get some help!

"And here it is, the meteorite!" Ghetsis exclaimed as they arrived at a large meteorite. The knight held onto his head as his eyes rested upon the giant space rock.

"I-It's calling out to me..."

"Indeed and that means that I was correct!"

"Huh?" The knight asked before shaking his head. "What do you mean, master?"

"You know why I captured you all those years ago? It wasn't just because of your brilliant battle tactics or for you to raise a powerful team for my personal use." Ghetsis looked down at his own belt with a smirk. The reason the black knight only ever had Haxorus was due to him training five other Pokemon and giving them away to Ghetsis as soon as they were powerful enough and ready to squash his enemies. "You're the descendant of the Black Knight of legend! Only somebody of the same bloodline could use Lancelot's sword like that and only somebody with the blood of him or the great warrior known simply as 'Red' can unlock the prison that trapped a mysterious third dragon!"

"I am the Black Knight of legend, my lord!"

"Exactly, now touch this with your hand and together we'll rule Unova together!" Ghetsis grinned as Zach reached out with his hand but before he could touch it a loud explosion occurred as smoke began rising into the room. Domino appeared before the black knight with a smirk.

"Why hello there, a black knight? That's so much more alluring than some lame white knight!" Domino cooed before pressing him up against the meteorite while giving off a seductive look as the knight and Haxorus let out a growl.

"Kill that meddling girl!" Ghetsis ordered.

"With pleasure!" The Knight and Haxorus chased Domino out of the room and as soon as they were gone Giovanni entered the room with a smirk, Pierce appeared by his side

"Hello Ghetsis, any parting words?" Giovanni spoke before looking at Persian. "Persian hasn't eaten in days and let's just say he's developed a taste for a certain delicacy." Persian licked his lips as he eyed Ghetsis. Ghetsis remained calm however before speaking up.

"Giovanni you're a civilized man aren't you? Can't we just settle this with a one on one Pokemon battle? My Hydreigon against your Persian? Winner gets to stay and the loser leaves Unova forever!"

"Sounds like a deal to me!" Giovanni grinned as Ghetsis unleashed his own Pokemon. "Alright... Hyper Beam!" However Hyper Beam appeared from multiple directions indicating that Giovanni had invisibly cloaked followers residing next to the man! Ghetsis remained calm however before tapping his cane twice and all the Pokemon within the room were quick to retreat into their Pokeballs including Persian!

"W-What witchcraft is this?!" Giovanni asked. Pierce gave his boss a smirk before speaking up as the meteorite began to glow brightly, Ghetsis' eyes lit up before remembering how the blonde woman had pushed his knight against the meteorite which was more than enough to begin the unsealing process!

"Giovanni, Ghetsis developed a machine that sends Pokemon back to their Pokeballs. It allows for him and his operatives to maneuver freely and without worry of a powerful trainer such as yourself intruding on our plans!"

"Our plans...?" Giovanni reached out and grabbed Pierce's neck. "You son of a-"

Ghetsis looked between the two with a smirk. "Hydreigon, knock Pierce away!" Hydreigon lashed out with his tail, sending Pierce flying across the room right as the Rocket trio appeared.

"There he is! Boss!" They shouted out. "We've come to help!"

An ice covered draconic shaped head emerged from the meteorite with a growl resulting in the trio quickly ducking out of fear and making their presence unknown to Ghetsis as he ordered out a command. "Kyurem hear me! I am your new master for I have freed you of your prison! If you obey me now and join my cause then I promise that I'll help you get your revenge on those that wronged you, I've got the black knight within this very cave! You're free to eat him once you've heed my call and use Sheer Cold on that man!" Ghetsis pointed towards Giovanni. Pierce raised up his head with a sinister smirk as Giovanni's eyes widened.

"No this can't be how it ends! I was so close to world-" Giovanni felt a cold wind surround his body before it became encased in ice, shortly afterwards it began to crack and proceeded to shatter into tiny pieces leaving no trace of the former leader of Team Rocket! The trio let out gasps of terror as they gave each other looks. Looker and Ash walked into the room right at that moment and Ash was about to order Pikachu to fire before Looker pulled him out of sight and silently shook his head.

"Boss..."

"He's gone..."

"Where am I?"

Hilda moaned out before waking up. She heard a strange giggle before a black blur raced by, whoever it was had seemingly not noticed her. Hilda looked around the cavern before she proceeded to call out in the hopes of receiving an answer. "Hello? Anyone there?!"

"Volca!" A large white fire moth Pokemon descended from the roof above resulting in her letting out a terrified scream! She closed her eyes and began shaking out of fright before opening her eyes as she heard loud footsteps before a dragon Pokemon let out a loud roar. Volcarona let out a terrified screech upon being hit by Roar, turning tail and flying deeper into the ruins while Hilda looked up towards her savior only to see Haxorus looking down at her.

"You again, how many times have I told you that your brother isn't coming back?" The black knight hopped off Haxorus' back before unsheathing his sword from his back. "I won't be denied my destiny!"

"Zach don't!" Hilda cried out as the tip of his sword pressed against her stomach. "I-I'm your sister, Hilda! I promised you that I'd free you and I've been trying ever since, I can't do it alone though! You need to fight whatever brainwashing Ghetsis did to you and come back to me, I want my brother back!" She felt the sword moving away from her as one of the knight's hand held onto his head.

"Gah, I-I told you I can't fight it long... just run Hilda! Save yourself!"

"No, I'm not leaving you again! I'm getting through to you, I just know it!" Hilda scanned through her memory bank as she tried thinking of something that'd help pull him out. "Y-You remember all those nights that you and Riolu stayed up all night watching matches of Lance and Cynthia while swearing that you'd become a champion just like them some day? Well you can't get that in the state you're currently in a-and you'll never find a girlfriend either! Ghetsis may find out one but it'll be a loveless relationship and you don't want that! Come back to me and we can travel the world together!" Hilda extended her hand as he slowly reached out with his own before letting out a grunt as he reached up to hold his head.

"Foolish girl, you should have ran while you had the chance! Time to die!" The knight pinned her against the wall and Hilda closed her eyes as she felt the sword quickly slashing towards her however right before it made impact, the tip mere centimeters away from contact he'd stopped and Hilda knew why as she sensed it too. It couldn't be though could it?

"Where's everyone going?" N questioned.

"Don't you worry your little head dear N just a little expedition." Colress grinned before ruffling the young man's hair. N cast off an annoyed expression at the act before Ghetsis spoke up.

"We're going to liberate some Pokemon N, you could come but we don't want to risk losing our dear and beloved king!" Ghetsis reasoned before bowing. "I promise that the two of us can have an expedition of our own later. Come Colress... we have much to discuss!" N narrowed his eyes at that. Ever since he found out what Colress had done to Hilda's brother he realized that Ghetsis hanged around the knight a great deal over the time that he'd known the knight. Ghetsis was often alone with him and Colress at times as well from what N recalled, he didn't like to doubt the man who raised him but he had a bad feeling that Ghetsis was involved in whatever happened to Zach.

N turned towards the laboratory once they had gone and attempted to open it only for it to be locked. "Of course, it'd be too easy... Darmanitan, my friend?" N's Darmanitan flew through the front door of the castle before landing in front of him.

"Darma...?"

"Break down these doors!" Darmanitan reached out and gave the door a punch causing it to splinter into pieces and leave an open pathway into the laboratory! N noticed whiteboards full of calculations with labels such as "Pokemon mind control" and "Plasma War Frigate". N backed up a bit at the sight before looking around the room some more before spotting a cage. He walked towards it and noticed what appeared to be a Lucario locked within the cage, the jackal was skinny and appeared to have been fed just enough to survive.

"You're the one I heard before! You're Zach's partner Pokemon?" N concluded before questioning the jackal. Lucario sat up before nodding his head as he began informing N about what happened. N's eyes widened before he punched the desk in frustration. "That bas-the nerve of him! Ghetsis told me my entire life that he sought nothing but peace... this isn't peace, this is chaos! That Pokemon was sealed away for a reason, there's a reason it isn't commonly mentioned in folklore! This road will only lead to disaster..." N looked at the key before opening up the cage.

"Be free jackal, lead the way to your trainer! I'm sure that your presence will wake him from his trance and we can put a stop to my father's madness!"

"Carrr..." Lucario took a step forward before immediately collapsing. N sweated before whistling as a male Unfezant flew up into the room.

"Be a dear and fly us in the direction that Lucario asks!" Unfezant let out a chirp of understanding before N climbed onto his back after helping Lucario up. The bird then flew off into the sky above and leaving Plasma Castle behind them.

"Carrr!" Lucario quickly crawled towards his trainer as he was too weak to walk.

"Lucario!" Zach immediately dropped his sword before rushing over as he dropped to his knees. "Is that really you?!"

"Carrr!" Lucario placed his paw on his trainer's chest as their auras fully connected once more, confirming that it was indeed Lucario!

"Oh buddy I'm so happy to see you, I thought they killed you like all the others!" Zach threw off his helmet showcasing tears as he hugged Lucario. "I wasn't sure how I'd go on without you!"

"Carrr!" Lucario hugged him in return, the two holding onto one another tightly as they were afraid they'd lose the other again.

Hilda smiled at the touching reunion before a lightbulb went off in her head. "Wait a minute... where did Lucario come from?"

"Hello Hilda," N calmly spoke as he appeared. Hilda jumped up before clenching her fists.

"You! You better not be here to-"

"Hilda I told you before that I had nothing to do with it, I freed Lucario and I'd do it again in a heartbeat! I know how much it pained you to see your brother like that and once I learned the truth I worked day and night to try and think of a way to free him! Eventually I found the solution starving within Colress' lab. W-We should really get out of here, Ghetsis wanted Zach because he can awaken the Great Blizzard from it's slumber!"

"The Great Blizzard?" Hilda questioned.

"I'll explain later," N grabbed hold of her hand before clapping his hands. "My friends mind partying back in the safety of the city? We've got to get you out of here before-" N felt a shiver as the room suddenly became cold. "No... you didn't touch it did you?"

"I-I don't know!" Zach merely replied with a confused shrug as he helped Lucario to his feet, the jackal weakly had his arms wrapped around his trainer's body while Haxorus turned to face the source of the blizzard with a growl.

"So my faithful son has turned traitor for the black knight's descendant. Bah! I guess I'll have to discard you and start over from scratch!" Ghetsis gave a sinister smirk as N lowered his head at Ghetsis' words while Hilda clenched her fists.

"You've got some nerve talking to my boyfriend like that!"

"Boyfriend?" N questioned as a blush crossed his face.

"Boyfriend?!" Zach questioned.

Ghetsis clenched his fist before pointing forward. "Kyurem there's your lunch, those two are the descendants of the black knight! You can do whatever you want to my son, I don't care." Kyurem let out a roar as a yellow and orange beam of energy appeared within his mouth, Kyurem set his eyes upon Zach and Lucario first as he sensed their spirits were weaker and easier prey! Haxorus let out a roar as an orange aura surrounded his body, the Dragon type rushed forward before slamming his body against Kyurem, knocking the dragon and Ghetsis through a wall before it crumbled up behind them and blocked them off from the others!

"Haxorus no!" Zach cried out, he attempted to rush towards the rubble before N grabbed his shoulder.

"Can't you see? Haxorus gave his life so we could escape! Haxorus' love for you was genuine as was your love for him, he was willing to risk it all for you to live on and accomplish your dreams! Don't make his sacrifice be for nothing, we've got to get going before they get through!" N exclaimed.

"No way, I still sense Haxorus! We can save him, we can-" Zach glanced back and suddenly went quiet before lowering his head as tears began to form within his eyes. "Let's get going..."

The four began hurrying out before bumping right into Ash and Looker. "Hilda, there you are!"

"And N... weren't you in Team Plasma?" Looker questioned.

"Far as I'm concerned Team Plasma is no more!" N declared. "I'll make a new version of the team, one truly dedicated to protecting this region and all that reside within it!"

"And that is Hilda's brother?" Looker observed.

"Can we talk later? Ghetsis is probably right behind us..."

"Surely we can take that Dragon Pokemon on? There's four of us!" Ash exclaimed before N shook his head.

"No Ash, only the Dragon Pokemon of legend are capable of defeating it! Nothing else not even that Pikachu have a hope of beating it, we've got to retreat for now!"

Ash clenched his fist before giving a frustrated nod as they continued racing out of the ruins, the Rocket trio following close behind as they tried processing what had just happened to their beloved Boss!

Chase and Brooke were still there when N arrived and the green haired boy took a hard pause before dropping to his knees. "Brooke, Chase... you two are good people who were misled by my father, would you care to join me in my new quest of protecting Unova in favor of both Pokemon and humankind rather than blatant human greed like the old Team Plasma?"

"You won't leave us for dead, will you?" Chase groaned weakly as he opened his eyes. "Zinzolin was here and I tried yelling at him for help but he only turned and walked out!"

"I'd never do something like that! Every life is precious and I wouldn't dare condemn somebody to death in favor of my personal goals, I'd be no better than my father if I did so!"

Brooke took a deep breath before giving a slow nod. "I'm in!"

"As am I!" Chase groaned as Brooke helped him to his feet.

The two former Plasma grunts followed the others out and Looker turned around upon them all exiting, his hand ahold a Pokeball for a moment as if he knew somebody was still in there and as soon as the Rocket trio came racing out, Looker released a Rhyperior which uttered out a loud roar before slamming his feet against the ground causing it to shake violently as the ruins began to disappear beneath the sand!

"That won't hold the Great Blizzard." N muttered. "Or my father."

"But it'll give us enough time to get away, Ghetsis will be forced to change tracks and we'll have plenty of time to come up with a strategy to beat him!"

"Retreat!" The ninja trainers retreated as Brock, Cilan and Iris joined up with the others shortly upon defeating them.

"What's up?" Iris asked.

Brock cast the Rocket trio a look. "And why are they here?"

"H-Hey we're on your side!" Meowth cried out.

"Yeah we don't want that monstrosity destroying the world!" James shouted.

Looker gazed at the three with a smirk before looking to his left. "You can come out now," Domino revealed herself with a smirk before giving the trio a wink.

"Hiya!"

"Meet my inside man! Domino's been feeding me information for the last few years, she sought redemption for her actions and offered to turn herself in but I suggested she continue but act as a mole that way we could eventually land the big fish, Giovanni himself!"

"The CEO of Silph Co?!" Brock and Cilan exclaimed.

"The very same, he's the boss of Team Rocket... or rather was. Looks like Archer is in charge now." Looker made a grim expression before continuing. "He used the Silph Co along with the Celadon Casino and many other facilities spread across the world as legitimate fronts. It was the perfect cover really, nobody would expect Kanto's favorite businessman, somebody who donates to plenty of charities in his spare time to be a secret criminal mastermind!"

Looker then looked towards the trio. "I knew you three were with us since Castelia City, you three are quite remarkable at disguising yourselves and quite skilled when it comes to machines and other techniques. Why don't you come work for me? Together we can take down Team Plasma and you'll get paid handsomely, far more than Team Rocket paid I assure you!"

"We're in!" The trio were quick to say before bowing their heads. "Thank you box lunch guy!"

Looker sweated, his true name wasn't even Looker so he wasn't bothered by the nickname. "Great, I'll take you three back to headquarters to get you signed up!"

N looked towards Chase and Brooke. "Come, we're not needed here."

"Wait!" Hilda shouted out. N turned to look at her before his eyes widened as Hilda planted a kiss right on his lips. Zach's eyes widened at the sight but if the sight had bothered him he was too depressed from the loss of Haxorus to do anything about it. "Good luck out there."

"Thank you my sweet," N bowed politely and kissed her hand before turning to face the others. "And about the Great Blizzard... there isn't much known about it other than it being the rumored third half of the dragon that the great Fire and Thunder Dragons were once a part of. It terrorized the lands thousands of years ago while two rival tribes were at war, the citizens of Black Forest which is now known as Black City against the citizens of White Forest. Eventually the two leaders realized they shared a common enemy and teamed up to save the evil mastermind that manipulated them into facing one another, they trapped the dragon within a prison and to ensure it never escaped, ensured that only somebody from their own bloodlines could unleash it. However it was only a matter of time before somebody took control of one of the descendants and forced him to do it."

Zach lowered his head before Hilda placed her hand on his shoulder. "Hey it's not your fault, we can still stop this! We just need to find the other stones right? The ones with the Fire and Electric dragons in them?" Hilda questioned.

"Correct, I know where the Fire stone is along with the one deemed worthy but for their own safety I'm keeping it quiet." N didn't want to reveal to Ash that Reshiram had chosen him yet nor did he want to say where the stone was. He saw how eager Ash was to defeat Kyurem and thought it'd be bad if they actually got Reshiram and had it if their paths crossed with Ghetsis once more before finding Zekrom along with whoever it deemed worthy!

N then turned to face Brooke and Chase. "But rest assured my new friends and I will work tirelessly to find it, we'll see each other again soon." N turned back and kissed Hilda's cheek causing her to turn bright red before giving N a wave as he walked off with Brooke and Chase following behind him.

"We'll be going as well," Looker gave Ash a salute. "I need to get these four back to headquarters along with making sure that Entei's delivered safely home!"

"Good luck you three, it's hard to believe that we're on the same side now." Ash gave the former Rocket trio a smile as he held out his hand. "I hope we see each other again."

"Count on it twer-Ash!" Meowth grinned before reaching out to touch his hand. James soon placed his on top.

"It was an honor chasing you all these years, I look forward to fighting alongside you as a friend!"

"Yeah well it'll be nice having Pikachu on our side for a change," Jessie smirked as she placed her hand on top, the three shook hands with Ash before following Looker and Domino as they walked off to meet Alder who was busy collecting unconscious Rocket and Plasma grunts and piling them up for the police to gather up.

"So... you've got your brother back." Ash turned to Hilda with a smile. "That must be nice!"

"Yeah, it is..." Hilda gazed towards her brother and Lucario with a smile before noticing the broken look on Zach's face.

"Haxorus..." He muttered before leaning against Lucario with a saddened expression. Hilda realized that perhaps she should just not say anything about Victini being in a coma as that'd just make things worse for him. She wrapped her arm around her brother before pulling him into a hug.

"Come on bro, let's head back to Castelia! I'm sure you and Lucario will enjoying eating the food there once more!"

"So what now?" Iris questioned.

"We go back to Castelia City and head to Virbank City, nothing changes. I'm going to continue getting stronger so that I can help out in any way that I can, I'm not going to stand aside and let the world be turned to ice! We've got to put a stop to this! Besides maybe we can find the electrical stone before N or Looker do!"

"It'd be cool if I was the one deemed worthy by one of those stones," Iris gushed. "Just imagine getting to control one of those dragons!"

"With great power comes great responsibility," Brock stated. "They probably chose trainers who they believe are capable of handling that kind of power!"

"He has a point, I doubt it's any of us!" Cilan added on with a light shrug.

"Well come on, let's get back to Castelia! I'm itching to get to my gym battle! It'd be nice to get our minds off this for awhile..." Ash said before turning around though he couldn't forget the terrifying sight of the Ice Dragon. He was sure that Pokemon would haunt his nightmares for a good while...

"Uh huh, I understand. Goodbye Pierce," Archer hanged up his phone before throwing it across the helicopter. "Arceus damn it, Giovanni's dead!"

"H-How did it happen?" A purple haired executive asked while a red headed female executive gave Archer a look.

"Giovanni perished fighting Ghetsis, his final words were 'retreat'." Archer rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

"And are we?"

"Hell no, I'm coming back to start Operation Tempest just like the boss intended to do! I'm not afraid of some robed freaks, the world belongs to us and we'll show them!" Archer rubbed his hands together with glee as a sinister smirk crossed his face while the helicopter continued flying away from the desert and off towards Kanto.

So yeah, Giovanni's dead. N and Hilda are together just not 'traveling together' for the moment. And the search for the black stone is now underway!
