The True Forces of Nature Revealed!

"Well Mr. Ketchum I must say I'm surprised that you kept your word," Archer calmly spoke. "Your friends may go." The Rocket grunts began untying Hilda, Cilan, Brock, Iris, Dawn and Zach while Archer held the Reveal Glass above his head.

"Ash you seriously gave Meloetta up? How could you?!" Iris growled out. Zach quietly glanced at Meloetta and gave Lucario a look but the two didn't say anything as they let Ash explain himself.

"With the power of the Reveal Glass, the moon's light falling onto the temple and Meloetta's voice I shall summon the guardians of nature. Team Plasma will be drawn out of hiding once we make Unova's nature go out of balance and then we'll swiftly dispose of them." Archer smirked as moonlight began shining against his glass. "Speak to me Meloetta, show me the power of your voice!"

"Archer I hate to break it to you but that Meloetta is just a cheap copy." Ash stated with a light smirk as his friends were now safely by his side. "You see I called up Jessie and James, and James and Meowth put together a perfect copy of Meloetta within a matter of hours! You won't be using her for your sinister deeds."

"I'm well aware Ketchum don't take me for a fool, I know Meloetta's right behind you." Ash leaped back as he was startled that Archer seemed to be a step ahead of him. "In fact I prepared for your betrayal, do not think you and your friends are safe as I've planted Electrode in key locations around this temple! I just say the word and this whole place goes beneath the ocean waves! I know you've only got Dewott and a Piplup, those two won't be enough to bring all of you to the surface once this baby sinks thousands of feet beneath the sea!"

"But sir what about us-" A Rocket grunt asked while looking quite nervous upon hearing the revelation.

"You'd really doom yourself?" Cilan asked.

"He's not lying..." Zach clenched his fists while Lucario snarled.

"Indeed for I am just one man, Team Rocket will continue on without me much as it has without Giovanni. The organization has been around long before Giovanni was even conceived!"

"So basically Team Rocket will always exist, your entire organization is like cockroaches!" Brock shouted.

Ash flickered his eyes about the room as he just didn't see a way that they could get out of this. The temple was far enough off the coast that as soon as the explosion went off it'd go undersea! There would be no time to release Flygon and even still there wasn't enough room for everyone on her back!

"So Meloetta what do you say? You can read my mind much like the brother and sister can read my aura, you know that I'm quite serious. Will you doom your beloved Ash to a watery grave or will you sing a simple note and free him and his friends?" Archer lightly smirked as he placed his hands into his suit pocket.

Meloetta uncloaked herself and appeared directly in front of Archer as she let out quite the beautiful melodic tune!

"Her voice... it's beautiful..." Hilda breathed out.

"It's like an angel!" Brock breathed.

The mirror began glowing a bright red color before it fired a bright red beam up into the sky! Archer gazed up and his smirk started growing larger while Ash felt his hear briefly stop as Thundurus, Tornadus and Landorus all floated down from the skies above! They looked completely different than last time however as their eyes were glowing a bright red color which matched the one in the mirror! "Mirror mirror reveal their true forms, unleash their true potential with Therian Forme!"

"Therian Forme?" Ash turned towards the Unovan members of his group in the hopes any of them knew only to be met with shrugs as not a single member of the group knew what Archer meant by that! The three guardians were engulfed in a bright red light as they began changing form! Thundurus's body began adapting dragon-like features while Landorus' body took on the appearance of a four legged feline! Tornadus' body changed form completely as he had changed form into that of a large green bird! The three Pokemon looked even stronger than before which was saying something as the three were capable of turning a desert into a thriving farmland in a matter of hours if they wished to do so!

"How are we getting out of this one? You're the only one that can take these things on and even then I doubt Pikachu alone can stop all three of them!" Zach exclaimed as he waved his arm towards the Therian Pokemon.

"You do have a plan right? Surely you had something." Dawn spoke up.

"Yeah, you had to have had a backup. You're smarter than this!" Iris shouted.

Ash merely pulled back his cap as he flashed his friends a light smirk. "I've got this. Charizard, Sceptile, Infernape, Snorlax and Gengar!" He had merely pretended to have his thoughts drift to Flygon in case there was a Psychic type scanning his mind!

"Whoa!" Hilda gasped out at the sight of some of Ash's strongest Pokemon. Gengar raised his eyebrow as he recognized Charizard, the Ghost type gave a cheerful grin before pulling at his eyes and sticking his tongue out to see if Charizard remembered him. Charizard's eye widened at the sight of Gengar before he put on a serious face and growled out as if to tell him to knock it off as it wasn't the place for it!

Archer leaped back in a brief moment of visible shock. "I-Impossible! I should have-You've never used your reserves during an adventure before!"

"Well I made an exception, there was no way that I would actually hand Meloetta over and usually villains don't keep their word so I was expecting a fight to come out! I did what I needed to do to ensure the safety of my friends!" Ash exclaimed.

"You know despite him coming off as an idiot at times he's actually quite intelligent... you don't think it's an act do you?" Iris asked Hilda only for the brunette to shrug while Archer's eye began to twitch.

"I-Impossible... I-I was wrong... I-I was wrong..."

"Archer, you okay sir?" Ariana waved her hand in front of her boss as he stared blankly off. Archer snapped out of it with a shake of his head as he threw out his arm.

"No matter these Therian Pokemon are thought to have been gods! Try and best them if you wish but you won't succeed." Archer smirked as he placed his hands back into his pocket. Thunder and lightning cracked through the skies above the three Therian Pokemon while their red eyes were locked onto Ash's team. Thundurus raised his arms into the air as a heavy downpour began crashing down into the ruins!

Ash clenched his fists as he quickly realized that Thundurus was attempting to boost the strength of his own attacks although this did work to Ash's advantage as although Tornadus was now a different forme he still appeared to be pure Flying and with how powerful Pikachu's new move was along with the additional affect of the rain perhaps it'd be enough to best Tornadus? It'd certainly make things easier if there was two Therian formes running around rather than three! However it wouldn't necessarily be easy as Thundurus quickly lunged for Pikachu upon sensing the new power the Electric type had within!

"Not this time, Snorlax block his path!"

"Snorlax!" Snorlax leaped into Thundurus' path, the Therian forme slammed against Snorlax's body and was quickly repelled as he bounced right off and flew through the air back towards Landorus! Landorus' eyes widened before the feline quickly raced away as Thundurus crashed against a support beam!

"Everyone clear the way for Pikachu!" Ash shouted as he threw out his arm. They needed to act quickly before Thundurus got back up and tried devouring the Electric attack! "Pikachu use Bolt Strike!" Pikachu's body became encased in an electric blue color as he started charging towards Tornadus before leaping up into the air and slamming his electrically charged body up against the Therian forme! Tornadus let out a pain filled shriek that carried throughout the ruins before he dropped to the ground, his body covered in soot and ash while his eyes remained swirled. Archer's eyes widened at the sight before he turned his gaze back towards Pikachu. He then began stroking his chin as an amused smirk crossed his face, Archer quickly realized what had happened but those kids were too dumb to figure out the answer that was right in front of them!

Landorus leaped up into the air and quickly slammed his paws against the ground causing the ruins to begin rapidly shaking while pieces started coming loose from the already partially collapsed roof as the ground started opening up beneath Ash's team!

"Pikachu, Sceptile, Infernape leap onto Charizard's back! Gengar grab onto Snorlax and turn the two of you intangible!"

"Gengar!" Gengar cackled as he grabbed onto Snorlax, the two quickly becoming intangible while Charizard flew Ash's other Pokemon safely out of the way of the Ground attack!

Thundurus began to spark with yellow electricity as he prepared to blast Charizard and the others right out of the sky with a blast of Thunder! Charizard let out a roar as he told the others to hold on before quickly doing a barrel roll as he maneuvered out of the way! Thundurus let out an annoyed growl as he began charging up another electrical blast!

"Charizard use Flamethrower, Infernape use Flare Blitz, Sceptile use Leaf Storm!" Pikachu leaped from Charizard's back to join Snorlax and Gengar while Charizard fired a large stream of fire from his mouth upon their target, Sceptile quickly followed by firing a fierce wind full of sharp leaves, Infernape followed by cloaking his body in an intense flame as he uttered out a fierce sounding cry and leaped right off Charizard, leaping right into the leaves and catching them on fire as he flew down at Thundurus and slammed him against the ground! Thundurus let out a pained grunt as Infernape leaped off him, the Therian forme slowly started to rise up only to fall back down in defeat as the fiery leaves struck his body!

Archer's jaw dropped as his eyes flickered between the downed Thundurus and Tornadus. Landorus let out an enraged shout as his body became surrounded in a red aura, the feline Therian rushed forward and repeatedly slashed at Pikachu. Though Pikachu was normally faster than most opponents that Ash faced that wasn't the case this time as the electric mouse found himself being beaten and slapped about!

"Chaaa!"

"Snorlax and Gengar use Ice Punch!" Both Gengar and Snorlax's fists became covered in an icy glow as they punched at both sides of Landorus' body! Landorus began to shiver as he was encased in a block of ice. "Alright, Gengar lift him up with Psychic! Charizard blast him with Flamethrower before he hits the ground!"

Charizard roared out in answer to his trainer's command. Gengar's eyes began to glow blue and as he lifted up his arms, Landorus' frozen body flew up into the air! Charizard fired off the powerful stream of fire once more, melting the ice and causing the feline to let out an annoyed hiss shortly before Gengar slammed him against the ground! Landorus hit the ground hard and let out a pained groan as he slowly started to rise up.

"Iron Tail!"

"Pika!" Pikachu's tail glowed silver as he took a hard swing, beating Landorus across the face as the feline came to a sudden collapse with swirls filling his eyes.

"Lando..."

"Alright Ash, way to go!" Hilda cried out.

"He did it... Ash actually did it!" Iris cheered.

Archer clenched his fists as Ash and his Pokemon were now standing across from him with heavy glares across their faces. "It's over Archer!"

"Not by a long shot, kid!" Ariana whipped out a Pokeball but before she could throw it, Archer calmly grabbed her arm and lowered it while looking towards Ash.

"Very well Ketchum, you won the battle today but I wonder if you have a means of getting you and all your friends safely out of here. I have a plan for me, Ariana grab on now!" Ariana's eyes grew wide from his sudden order, the red head latched onto his arms as a muscular green feline Pokemon briefly came into view before the two of them disappeared! Their grunts were left behind as the ground beneath them started to explode, the ruin began collapsing as the Rocket grunts let out alarmed shouts.

"To the boat!"

"Everyone return," Ash returned all his Pokemon apart from Charizard and Pikachu to their Pokeballs as he turned his attention towards his friends. He began stroking his chin in thought as he wondered how they'd get them all out of there.

"Melo!" Meloetta finally spoke up, waving her arms frantically as she tried addressing the solution to Ash!

"That's right, you can teleport! You think you can take us all to shore?" Ash asked with a light head tilt. Meloetta didn't even think about it as she quickly nodded her head.

Zach turned his attention to the shattered Reveal Glass which Archer had left behind along with the defeated Therian formes. "What about them? We can't just leave them! They were under Archer's control, they didn't choose to attack us!"

"Zach's right," Dawn's gaze was fixated on the downed Pokemon.

"They're too far away for us to spray with Revive and we've got probably a matter of seconds before the ruins collapse, how are we going to do that?!" Hilda questioned.

Meloetta seemed to have a solution to that as she quickly teleported to the Therian formes and slapped them across the cheek, waking them up! The three Pokemon raised up with a groan, Charizard and Pikachu let out a growl before calmly down as the Pokemon didn't appear to be angry at them. The three Pokemon gave a smirk of approval at the group and despite Meloetta's other solution it didn't appear to be necessary at first as Tornadus flew towards Zach and Dawn before lowering his back as he offered them a ride. Thundurus meanwhile grabbed at Brock and Cilan's backs before pulling them up into the sky as he flew out of there! Tornadus took off into the air moments after his brother while Landorus let out a growl for the others to climb aboard. Hilda nervously climbed onto the feline's back and Iris swiftly followed.

"Sorry Fraxure but you need to return, you're too heavy for him to carry!" Iris exclaimed. Fraxure let out an unpleasant growl as he appeared to hate that idea. "It's only for a few minutes, trust me!" Fraxure let out a sigh as he agreed, disappearing in a beam of red light while Iris climbed on behind Hilda. Ash and Pikachu climbed on afterwards and Landorus began flying up into the sky but before he got out of the ruins a rock fell loose and smacked right against Ash's face, sending him falling back down into the ruins!

"Ash!"

"Pika pi!" Hilda, Iris and Pikachu looked down with panic and fear as they saw Ash falling down. Landorus turned back but the ruin began fully collapsing right at that second making it impossible for him to fly in! Ash let out a panic shout, his arms flailing about as he fell towards the ground, he closed his eyes as he continued to fall and could practically see his life flashing through his eyes before he felt a pair of light hands grab onto his arms, teleporting him safely away as he'd soon feel the softness of beach sand along with the sound of the ocean hitting his ears.

Ash slowly opened his eyes and noticed that Meloetta had teleported the two of them right back to where they'd first met! "Melo!" The Psychic type clasped her hands together and gave him a rather affectionate look.

"Meloetta... you saved me?"

"Melo!" Meloetta nodded her head with a rather pleasant smile.

"Well then I guess that makes us even now!" Ash smiled back. "If you were sticking around to fulfill a debt of some sort it's fulfilled, your free to go! We're even now!"

"Melo..." Meloetta shook her head before pointing towards Ash's belt. "Melo!" She cried out with a rather melodic tone.

"Y-You want to come with me?" Ash asked with a brief moment of shock. Never had a Mythical Pokemon actually displayed interest in joining his team!

"Melo!" Meloetta cheerfully flew around Ash's head before planting a kiss on his cheek!

"Well then welcome to the team, Meloetta! I'm sure Professor Oak will be pleased to see you!" Ash held out an empty Pokeball and Meloetta was quite quick to tap it, her body disappeared in the familiar red beam of light as the ball started shaking back and forth before eventually chiming out to announce the capture complete!

"Alright we just caught Meloetta!"

"Pi Pikachu!" Pikachu quickly raced forward and leaped onto his trainer's shoulder as he joined in on the pose before nuzzling his trainer to show that he was very glad that Ash was okay!

"Oh thank goodness you got out!" Hilda breathed out.

"I wasn't worried, I knew that you'd get out!" Iris boasted with a smirk.

"Oh really? You're the one who was crying!" Hilda smirked at her friend as Iris' eye twitched before she hit Hilda atop her head.

"What happened to Thundurus, Tornadus and Landorus?" Ash asked upon noticing the three weren't present.

"They flew off shortly after setting us down on land, I think they went back home." Cilan lightly shrugged.

"Speaking of which I think we should get there... none of us got any sleep on account of Team Rocket keeping us captive all night." Zach yawned out while Dawn leaned her head against his shoulder, her eyes hardly open as their bodies were quickly catching up to the two of them.

Hilda glanced at Dawn and smiled lightly as she assumed the date between the two went great. "Yeah we should head back a-after all we should probably get back on the road soon."

"Right, I want to get to Humilau City so I can earn my seventh Gym badge!"

"Pi Pikachu!" Ash and Pikachu clenched their fists as their eyes shined bright with excitement!

Pierce walked through the Plasma Castle corridor before coming to a sudden halt as he opened up a door, stepping foot into Colress' laboratory where five metal insectoid Pokemon could be seen in tubes. Four of them were purple and they were currently centered around the fifth which was red rather than the purple that the other four were.

Pierce looked towards them before looking to Colress as the scientist appeared to be busy with an invention of some sort. "Colress," Pierce coldly addressed causing the blonde scientist to shoot up with a panicked look.

"Geez Pierce I didn't even hear you enter, ever heard of knocking?!"

Pierce coldly narrowed his eyes before shifting them back towards the bug Pokemon. "Ghetsis wants these Genesect destroyed, they no longer suit our needs and we can't risk them falling into Team Rocket hands."

"But you can't! They're Pokemon, my inventions!" Colress exclaimed.

"Do it or I'll do it and trust me you do not want that." Pierce flashed a sadistic smirk as he turned to make his leave. Colress flickered his eyes about the lab as he was starting to feel guilty about all that he had helped Ghetsis accomplish over the years. It was he who had mind controlled a mere ten year old and made him their slave for seven years, he had also been the one that designed various gadgets that Ghetsis used for unholy purposes, and now his pet project was in danger of going extinct! Colress bit his fingernails nervously as he pondered what he should do. His eyes flickered between the Genesect and a red button which would peacefully end their existence, which had only been there in case something went wrong when he revived the fossils!

Colress then let out a sigh as he tapped a button, the tubes began opening up while Colress opened up a window. "Go free my children, live your lives to the fullest!" The Genesect folded up their limbs before they proceeded to blast through the open window like a pair of rockets as they flew out in search of their ancient home! "Be free... be free..."

"That was a mistake," Pierce opened the door, his sadistic grin still very much present. Colress' eyes widened as the man moved closer to him.

"Don George is it true that your bringing back the Junior World Tournament this year?" A newscaster asked.

"The Pokemon World Tournament Junior Cup? Yes, yes I am!" The man pumped his arm as a cheer track was played.

"And can you explain it to the people who don't know what that is?"

"It's a tournament that is free for trainers of all ages and rank to participate in a series of action packed one on one Pokemon battles! It'll be hosted in Black City and the winner will receive a trophy and the honors of challenging-"

"Yours truly!" Alder leaped out onto the stage before wiggling his eyebrows at the newscaster in a suggestive manner. "And I must say that you're looking quite lovely today miss, you fancy going backstage with your dear Champion?"

The newscaster sweated as a nervous smile crossed her face, she remained silent while Don George coughed and saved her from answering as he continued. "Yes, the winner will get the honors of facing Alder! That is not all though as the opening match is quite the special treat for all of you, you'll get to see Alder and Cynthia battle it out!" A cheer track was played once more.

"Cynthia?!" Ash asked suddenly before the villa doors opened up.

"Yes?"

"Ah, my heart!" Brock's eyes turned to hearts, matching Meloetta's as the Psychic type was hovering behind Ash once more and staring rather affectionately at him. "My dear Cynthia it's been so long since I've seen you and I must say that you're even more attractive than last time! It's clear that fate has brought us back together for a reason and I think that we shouldn't waste time, let's go out on a da-"

"Croagunk!" Croagunk jabbed Brock's back and promptly began dragging the man off while croaking out in laughter as Cynthia stared after him with a light sweat drop.

"Cynthia!" Ash exclaimed as he and Pikachu quickly shot up with looks of excitement. Iris meanwhile stood shaking with a fangirl expression as her eyes were locked on the beautiful Sinnoh champion.

"Hello Ash, Pikachu. It's been awhile."

This was all meant to be one chapter originally but I thought it'd have been fun to leave it on a cliffhanger last time. Ash now owns Meloetta and his reserves made a brief appearance!
