Crocus Brigade

Restrictions: No Slayers of any sort. No more weapon-based requip magics. No more characters from outside of modern Fiore. No more memory related magics.

Information: The Dragon King Festival rages on as Dragon Slayers begin to enter the war. Join the Crocus Brigade as they fight in order to bring the war to a close and rebuild the land. SYOC.

The story follows a group in service to the Kingdom of Dragnof that is dedicated to protecting their assigned Dragon Slayer and aiding them in their efforts to end the Dragon King Festival. Of course, things don't go to plan as the war comes to a sudden and bloody end, leaving the Crocus Brigade aimless in a world ravaged by war. The story will cover and expand upon the founding and creation of the Kingdom of Fiore as they fight to bring peace to the humans left behind by the devastating Dragon King Festival.

Hometown: (Do keep in mind that in X376 none of the modern countries of canon actually exist yet. The story will be taking place in the region of Ishgar that eventually becomes Fiore, but is currently controlled by the Kingdom of Dragnof, so none of the modern towns exist yet. So I’ll need a rough description of the town as well as the name and a general idea of where the town is in relation to modern Fiore. Of course, they don’t have to be from the Fioran region, if you want your character to be from somewhere else, feel free to do that.)

Relevant People: (Who are the people relevant to your character and their history? This could be family members, teachers, friends, lovers, rivals, etc. Please provide their names a brief description of their relation to your character.)

What is their goal in life?: (Many different people have joined the Crocus Brigade and each of them have their own goal they want to see come to fruition. What does your character fight for? What do they want to accomplish?)

General History: (Once more, I don’t need a 3 page essay or anything like that. But like the personality, it should be more than a few sentences. If you want to give them a dark and dramatic history, feel free though. If you want them to have a light and happy one, that’s fine too. But some real thought and effort should be put into this because this tells me how your character came to be the person that they are at the start of the story and how they learned their magic. Do keep in mind that this story does take place over 400 years before the start of Fairy Tail, during the waning days of the Dragon King Festival, so the world is a vastly different place. So different that Mage Guilds and even Fiore as a country don’t even exist yet.)

Plot Points: (What do you want to see happen to your character? Maybe an old enemy has come back to haunt them? Maybe they’ve met a new one? Do you want to see them fall in love? Lose someone close to them?)

Magic Information

Magic: (I’m going to be picky with this one. What is your character’s magic? How does it work? What can it do? What can it not do? What are its limits? I will allow your character to know up to two different types of magic and they don’t have to start out knowing both of them and could potentially only know one of them at the start of the story and learn the second one later on. I do require there to be some correlation between the two magics, like they work well together and complement each other’s strengths or compensate for the other’s weaknesses. But I don’t really want to see two magics that are just randomly thrown in together. I want some real thought put into how and why your character would learn the second magic when they already know the first and so on. Regarding Slayers, I will not be accepting any, as while Dragon Slayers do exist at this point in rather large abundance, there is a rather angry black dragon that’ll be having a rather stern word with them all soon. Other magic restrictions can be found on my profile. Do also keep in mind that at the start of the story most of the OCs will be fairly weak, only on par with the side characters of Fairy Tail for the most part except for a few exceptions.)

Information: A small branch of the Phantom Lord Mage's Guild is thrusted into chaos after the guild is dissolved following the war with Fairy Tail. Watch as the mages of the newly christened Phantom Hearts rebuild their guild from the ground up and rise to greatness. SYOC.

The story will follow the mages of the Jaborosa Branch of Phantom Lord as their guild is dissolved and they strive to rebuild it. The story will follow along with the canon storyline stretching from X784 all the way through X793 and perhaps beyond. The characters will grow and change throughout the story as the world around them challenges them in new and difficult ways.
