"Starly use Wing Attack!"

"Starly!" Starly's wings glowed a light blue color as he swooped through the air before slashing his opponent with his wings!

"Bidoof!" The Pokemon cried as they were knocked away before falling onto their side in defeat while Starly flew triumphantly in the air above.

"Starly!"

"Alright Starly, you were awesome!" Zach gave his Flying type a proud look as he received his winnings from the rivaling trainer while Starly uttered out a happy sounding chirp.

"Starly, star-" A bright blue light surrounded Starly resulting in Zach quickly turning back to face him. Starly doubled his height as his body extended upwards, a neck was now visible on the bird while his colors basically remained the exact same as when he was a Starly. His tail feathers grew a few inches while on the back of his head was a tuft of feathers which curved forward.

"Staravia!" The newly evolved Flying type cried out as Zach's Rotom Phone began vibrating to inform him of Staravia's registration into his Pokedex.

"Staravia the Starling Pokemon, it lives in forests and fields and squabbles over territory occur when flocks collide!"

"You beat a trainer and your Pokemon evolved? You're definitely becoming quite the remarkable trainer!" May exclaimed with a obvious affectionate look in her eye. Dawn couldn't help but narrow her eyes it was true that Zach was slowly becoming stronger by the day but there was no need for May to use that as an excuse to flirt with him, Dawn would at least have waited until he beat a Gym Leader rather than some random trainer.

Zach nervously sweated as he rubbed the back of his neck. "I wouldn't say that, I've still got a long way to go before the Unova League." Lucario sat on the ground a few inches away from his trainer, the jackal's eyes were closed as he meditated and studied the aura around him in order to pick up on any wild Pokemon or potential threats.

"You're already a champion in my book!" May smirked as she placed her hand up against his chest and stared affectionately into his eyes. Dawn's eye twitched as she could see both a smile and blush forming on his face, she clenched her fists and growled lightly at May before Lucario suddenly sprang up and distracted them all before anything happened.

"Car!" The jackal pointed at a nearby bush where a pair of Pikachu shaped ears could be seen moving about.

"A Pikachu?" Zach looked back at Lucario. "I thought we agreed on no Electric types for the foreseeable future!"

"Car!" Lucario quickly shook his head and pointed frantically at the bush.

"Okay I trust you, Scorbunny use Electro Ball on that bush!"

"Scor!" The electric energy sphere formed between Scorbunny's paws before she dropped it and gave a swift kick as she sent it flying into the nearby bush! A loud creepy sounding hiss of pain could be heard before what appeared to be a Pikachu shaped doll came leaping out!

"What on earth is that?!" May asked with a creeped out expression, Dawn looking similarly creeped out.

"I have no idea..." Zach reached into his pocket as he removed his Rotom Phone.

"Mimikyu the Disguise Pokemon, it wears a rag fashioned into a Pikachu costume in an effort to look less scary. Unfortunately the costume only makes it creepier. Anyone said to have looked beneath the rag has promptly died on the spot or over night!"

"Creepy is right, you're not honestly thinking of catching it are you?" Dawn shuddered.

"G-Ghost type!" May shivered as she quickly hid behind Zach.

"I think Mimikyu looks like an awesome Pokemon!" Zach stated causing them to give him weird looks while Mimikyu let out a happy sounding hiss as she met somebody who thought she was a cool Pokemon!

"Kyu..."

Zach produced an empty Pokeball before dropping to knees as he held the ball out to Mimikyu. "Mimikyu if you're looking for somebody to accept you then I'd be more than willing to let you join my team, I was rejected by a Pokemon much like you've probably been rejected by plenty of trainers so I think the two of us will be perfect for each other! What do you say?"

May thought it was sweet but she continued to shiver as she silently hoped that Mimikyu said no.

"Now that you mention it, she is sorta cute..." Dawn gave off a light smile. Zach gave a smile in her direction before looking back to Mimikyu as the Ghost type just stared off. Without seeing eyes it was hard to tell if Mimikyu was even looking at him or something else, he was beginning to understand why May was afraid of Ghost types but he'd try and help her get over her fear of them.

"Kyu..." Mimikyu gave the ball a light head tap before disappearing in a beam of red light, the ball quickly shook back and forth within his hands before chiming out to announce the capture complete! May shivered but gave Zach a congratulatory smile, despite her fear of Ghost types she did like him more than she feared them so she'd attempt to get over her fear so long as he stood by her during it.

"I think that you and Mimikyu will be perfect for each other!" Dawn exclaimed with a warm smile across her face. "She sounds like just the right Ghost type for you."

May bit her lip as she continued to shiver before slowly stepping forward as she'd place her arm upon his shoulder. "I-If you're going to start training it right now, m-mind if I help?" Dawn's eyes widened as with how May talked about Ghost types since they'd left Floaroma Town a few days ago she assumed that she'd never give them a chance! Relief did flow through her though as this act just confirmed that May's emotions for Zach were genuine, had she only been interested in him for his looks or something else then she'd have left rather than try to get over her fear. A light smile crossed Dawn's face for a minute as she watched them begin training with Mimikyu.

"Bui!" A Buizel shot back into the water after avoiding Lucario's Thunder Punch, the Water type disappeared beneath the surface and with how strong the current was it was likely already a mile down the river and out of grasp!

"Car!" Lucario let out a frustrated growl while Zach placed his hand on his best friend's shoulder.

"Don't worry buddy, we'll get the next Water type!" The group wasn't far off from a large facility known as the Valley Windworks which used a series of wind turbines in order to produce electricity for the entirety of the Sinnoh popular this side of Mt. Coronet! Lucario lowered his gaze for a moment as he was sad that he let his trainer down, he suddenly perked up though as he felt a strange aura presence. He turned his gaze towards the facility and noticed a few humans inside marked with bright red aura indicating that they were up to no good. The leaders were a man and a woman leading him to assume it was that Bill and Cassidy pairing, he let out a growl before motioning towards the facility.

"What's up with him?" Dawn asked.

"Car!"

"He says some bad people are in there doing something... you don't think it's that Bob and Cassidy duo do you?"

"Gah!" Butch and Cassidy were walking through a city several miles away when Butch's ear suddenly turned bright red and he let out a pained grunt.

"Butch?" Cassidy asked as she and Meowth showed visible concern for their partner and friend. "You okay?"

"Meowth?"

"I don't know how but I have the feeling that somebody out there just got my name wrong!" Butch waved his fist at the sky. "Why must the universe taunt me so? The name's Butch, Butch! Why do people have such a hard time remembering that?!"

"Well Lucario's never been wrong before, think we should call Officer Jenny?" May asked as she pulled out her Rotom Phone only to be greeted by a message stating that she had no signal! "That's odd, I'm not getting a signal."

"Nor am I, they must be doing something in there." Dawn stated as the three looked towards the facility before giving each other a nod as they quickly rushed towards it to investigate!

Sure enough the door to the facility was left wide open which was quite peculiar as they were supposed to be locked behind keycard access.

"You sure right buddy, something's definitely wrong here." Zach returned Scorbunny to her Pokeball so that the cocky rabbit wouldn't rush on ahead and alert whoever it was to their presence. He silently motioned with his hand for May and Dawn to follow him as he lead the way into the facility, everything was oddly quiet as even most of the machines were powered down which allowed them to hear a feminine voice up ahead. From the sound of it she wasn't that much older than them as she sounded a bit young.

"Alright no none of you try anything funny," As they stepped around a corner Zach quickly pushed the girls back out of sight as the intruders were straight ahead of them! Dawn couldn't help but blush as she was currently pinned against the wall with her face mere centimeters from his own, she couldn't help but get lost in his eyes for a brief moment. "This is my first operation as a Team Galactic commander and I won't let this become a botched operation! I must win the bosses admiration!"

Up ahead were several men and women with short light blue colored haircuts who also appeared to be wearing spacesuits? A strange insignia shaped like a G was present on the front of their uniforms. The woman was wearing a similar attire however her spacesuit was fitted with a skirt and had more black coloring to it. She didn't appear to be much older than Zach and the girls as she looked to be about twenty or possibly in her early twenties, giving a few years difference between them. Her hair was short and a bright red color while her eyes were a similar shade of red.

"How are we stealing this energy anyways? I don't get how this works..." A grunt asked before another grunt hit them on their head.

"Quiet dummy, you want us to get fired?!"

"They're stealing energy? What on earth for?" May whispered.

"Whatever it is it can't be good." Zach clenched his fists. He noticed a bunch of tied up workers in a backroom and turned to face Lucario. "Alright buddy you're fast and quiet, when we distract them you sneak back there and block the way to those workers. That way they can't get to them in an attempt to stop us from interfering."

"Car!" Lucario gave a nod before tilting his head. "Car?"

"I've still got Scorbunny on me, I'll be fine. Go protect those workers!" He hissed before stepping on out, May and Dawn quickly followed in order to back him up as Team Galactic had the numbers and would most certainly try to gang up on them! "Hey space kooks, don't you know the science convention is at Hearthome City?"

"Space kooks?!" The commander growled as she turned around. Her eyes then landed upon Zach and the girls before giving them a mocking smirk. "Oh hey it's Romeo and his harem! Why don't you kiddies get lost before you get yourselves hurt, we've got you outnumbered." She snapped her fingers as her grunts all held up their Pokeballs in preparation to attack.

"We can't do that, you're clearly up to something and we're not going to let you steal the energy!" Dawn shouted.

"Besides you shouldn't underestimate us, you may have the numbers but I guarantee that we're strong enough to take you all on!" May shouted.

The Team Galactic commander shook her head. "You really don't understand do you? Team Galactic is trying to build a better world!"

"A better world? This world might not be perfect but it can be saved!" Zach growled out as May and Dawn nodded in agreement with his statement, serious expressions crossed their faces as they held out their Pokeballs while Piplup took a combat stance and got ready to battle.

"You honestly think that?" The commander laughed as she rolled her eyes. She flashed a glance towards the backroom where unknown to them her associate was wrapping things up and lugging the stored energy onto their helicopter. A distraction would do wonders as he worked away besides she was fairly confident that she'd win! "But tell you what how about you and I have a Pokemon battle? If I win then you'll leave and I promise we won't harm any of you, if you win then we'll leave and never return!"

Zach glanced towards the various Team Galactic grunts before giving a light nod in response as he accepted his offer. It'd certainly be easier than fighting everyone plus he wouldn't have to fear May or Dawn getting hurt! "I'll battle you."

"Great, Golbat let's get him!"

"Golbat!" The large blue bat Pokemon burst out before fluttering in front of the younger trainer.

Zach reached for Scorbunny's Pokeball before throwing it forward. "Scorbunny let's go!"

"Scor!" Scorbunny burst out and cast off a cocky smirk as she took a combat stance.

"Flame Charge!" Scorbunny's body became cloaked in flame as she rocketed across the room before leaping on up as she threw herself at her opponent, knocking Golbat out of the air!

"Poison Fang!" Golbat's fangs turned a venomous shade of purple as he snapped out at Scorbunny but the rabbit swiftly retreated back to her trainer's side!

"Flame Charge once more!"

"Scor!"

The commander threw back her head and laughed. "I don't know what game you're playing here but Golbat it's going to take a lot more than Fire attacks to beat my Golbat! Supersonic!"

Loud sonic waves burst towards Scorbunny as she flew through the air however her destination was already inches away as confusion hit so she didn't have much time to process the confusion!

"Flame Charge!" Scorbunny slapped her cheeks in response as Zach clenched his fists lightly.

"Poison Fang!" Golbat flew towards Scorbunny and sank his venomous fangs down into the rabbit, Scorbunny then uttered out a pained cry as her face started turning purple!

"Poison and confusion? That's not good." Dawn cast a worried look at Scorbunny while Zach clenched his fists even tighter. Had it been a normal battle he'd return her right then and there to avoid herself getting hurt but if she could just get off a single attack then Golbat could be taken care of!

"Scorbunny I know you're confused but listen to me! Close your eyes and listen for the sound of Golbat's wings then fire an Electro Ball at him! I believe in you Scorbunny, I know you can do it!" Zach shouted.

Scorbunny looked towards May as she gave a thumbs up. The rabbit closed her eyes before twitching her ears as she listened closely for the sound of Golbat's beating wings. She then brought her paws together as an electric energy sphere formed between them before it was dropped to her feet and kicked clean across the room like a soccer ball, nailing Golbat head on! Golbat let out a cry as electricity surged through his body before the bat dropped to the ground with a light thud, his eyes now reduced to swirls as the commander's jaw dropped.

"T-That can't be... well what does it matter, I've still got my powerhouse left! Purugly let's go!"

"Meow!" The large plump feline emerged from her ball and let out a hiss as she glared in Zach and Scorbunny's direction.

"Scorbunny return," Scorbunny disappeared in a beam of red light as she was returned to the safety of her Pokeball. Zach then reached for his newer team member's ball. "Mimikyu let's show them how awesome you are!"

"Kyu!" Mimikyu hissed out as she emerged from her ball. Most of the grunts along with Mars immediately shivered at the sight of the Ghost type which only seemed to irritate her as she let out an annoyed hiss!

"Wood Hammer!" Mimikyu leaped upwards as her stick tail began glowing a bright sinister shade of purple, she took a swing before slamming her tail down hard against Purugly's body and smacking the feline upside the face as she let out a yowl of pain!

"Meow!" Purugly hissed in annoyance.

"What's that a Grass type that thinks it's a Pikachu?" The commander rolled her eyes as she threw out her arm. "Fury Swipes!" Purugly unsheathed her claws as she raced towards Mimikyu and took a hard slash at her body only for her to yowl out in surprise as her paw went straight through her!

"T-That's a Ghost?! How stupid are you, you can't use Ghost attacks and I can't use Normal attacks!" The commander frustratingly shouted as Zach crossed his arms and gave her a light smirk.

"I had a feeling that Purugly might only know Normal attacks so I took a gamble, Mimkyu knew Wood Hammer so I still had something to attack you with!"

Her eyes twitched as she realized she was bested by a child! A laugh could be heard behind her as an older man stepped out from the back, he was shorter than the other Team Galactic members but his appearance gave off the look of somebody of importance within the organization as his attire was completely different from the Galactic commander and the grunt's clothing! A lab coat was over his uniform and from what little could be seen his uniform was entirely grey on the upper half while his legs were black rather than a mixture of both like the uniforms of the grunts.

"Mars you actually let a child best you? What will our boss say?" The man gave off a smirk while Mars' eye twitched before she angrily shouted.

"Maybe if you weren't so damn slow then we wouldn't still be here, Charon! You got the energy loaded up at least?!"

Charon gave a light nod as he pulled out a remote causing the room to suddenly fill up with smoke causing the three heroes to begin coughing as their sight was temporarily restricted. When the smoke died down there was no trace of Team Galactic at all as they'd made their escape!

"Thank you so much for rescuing me and my men, you sure you don't need anything?" The manager of the facility asked as Zach, Dawn and May stood outside awhile later, having gone around and untied all of the workers shortly after Team Galactic had fled.

"We don't need anything we were just glad to help!" Dawn stated with a smile.

"Well then thank you, good luck on your travels and be safe." The manager gave them a wave before heading back into the facility.

"What do you think Team Galactic is up to? 'Creating a new world' sounds an awful like genocide." May spoke up with a worried tone.

"I'm not sure but whatever it is can't be good," Zach stated as he stared off in the distance while having a bad feeling about what was to come.

Team Galactic has made their appearance! I always assumed Mars had a thing for Cyrus with the way she behaves so I decided to just make it official.

Mimikyu will most certainly be in Sinnoh given it's popularity so I decided to make one Zach's Ghost type, especially as it kind of fit his team given it's desire to be accepted while he was rejected by a Pokemon so he simply invited it rather than attack it like his failed capture with Buizel! Plus Mimikyu will get to meet an actual Pikachu soon.

"Will Conway like Dawn?" Nope. He's a simp for Amelia! I might introduce somebody new for Conway though. I haven't decided on going PaulXAmelia or PaulXBarry for endgame.

The only certain endgame is ZachXDawn but I'm sort of tempted to let him get both her and May

"Also will you do Zach and Paul for Hearthome tag tournament?"

Can't answer that but there will be a double battle tournament happening sometime after Gardenia, I can't say too much as it'd spoil a character's appearance.
