Basic stuff I'm 20 years old and I live in Mexico (though I'm not getting more specific than that). I'm studying industrial engineering at my university, although if I'm honest with myself I haven't been paying much attention to university recently (something that will change). It's become incredibly hard for me to concentrate and focus on the university's online format.

That's actually what turned me towards fanfics. It was the beginning of May 2020 (for posterity sake, you know), and I was really bored in class and started roaming reddit. I saw a gorgeous art by hastyhand from the Harry/Hermione subreddit (which I was subscribed to, but didn't actually check Reddit out that much back then). Anyways, long story short, I found out about fanfics and started reading them.

Over the past 11 months, I have read a great deal of fanfics - all of them in the Harry Potter universe. My absolute favourite fic is actually one that hasn't been confirmed as Harmony yet, and that is The Prince of Slytherin. I could gush about this fic all day and not get tired, so I won't do that, instead I'll just say that if you haven't read this you're missing out. TSM has done an amazing job at building the world, the characters, and their dynamics, and has a compelling plot that is second to none. You should definitely read this fic if you haven't. Another one of my favourite fics, and the one that inspired me to start writing was In The Forest of Dean - the fic that has basically become my canon after Ron leaves Harry and Hermione during the horcrux hunt, this was the first fanfic I read that proved to me that it was worth sticking around. Both these fics are (in my opinion) miles better than what canon gave us and they are my main inspirations for my writing.

Some other fics I would put on my favourites are A Marauder's Plan, a fic that has incredible world-building and an amazing relationship between Harry and Sirius, The Bodyguard is a brilliant fic that explores the complicated relationship of Harry and Hermione throughout the years after the war and has some of the best smut I've ever read. Speaking of smut, Outlet also has incredible smut but is also a deep character study of both Harry and Hermione and their respective traumas after the war. Soul Thief is a thrilling mystery fic with one of my favourite Harrys depicted in fanfiction, it also has Harmony reconnecting after Harry went into a self-imposed exile and it explores that relationship exceptionally. Strange Reflections is also one of my favourites, having a brilliant slow-burn Harmony relationship and one of my favourite depictions of trauma in a fic.

I am 100% a Harmony shipper. Harry Potter is my absolute favorite fandom out of all the ones I love, and I've always shipped Harry and Hermione. I've shipped them since I finished reading the third book (and that was before I saw the movies!) and haven't stopped ever since. They are endgame and they basically set all my standards for what a relationship should be. Unfortunately, J.K. botched it and now I have to find my Harmony needs in the fics I read and the ones I write.

Synopsys For My Works

As Long As You're With Me: My current project - originally envisioned as a fluffy re-write of the Harry Potter franchise starting from the end of the third year. However, that vision is long dead and buried as it's become a more ambitious project that will massively diverge from canon, explore different POVs, characters, plotlines, and more. A dark fic that's rated M and will explicitly show torture, murder, sex, trauma, and more - this should only be read by those over the age of 18. And lastly, but most importantly, this project that is dedicated to Aani, who's been my amazing friend and alpha who has worked with me on it for hundreds of hours.
