Chapter 499 Hood Rat Beat Down

"

Author's Note: The idea for this chapter came from a review by Maddye Trager who suggested this. I spent a week trying to figure out how I was going to write this chapter. Some chapters are much harder to write than others. Now that it's finally finished, I don't know why I had such a hard time with it. Thanks for the chapter idea Maddye.

Jax could feel the energy from the guys crammed on top of each other in Esai's little car. They were looking for a fight and since Esai was cooperating, they weren't going to give him the beat down he deserved thanks to the agreement Clay made with Alvarez. Aside from Clay's promise, it also made good business sense to not cross the Mayans since they had established a mutual, highly profitable relationship with them. In the big picture, it didn't matter how Esai died just as long as he died.

The idiots that were trying to steal their vehicles would provide a nice fun fight and give the guys a chance to blow off some steam. Happy was especially looking for a fight, Jax could tell by the way the muscle in his jaw clenched and unclenched. All the guys in the MC loved fighting, but Happy loved fighting the most and killing best of all.

Jax quickly reached the dimly lit side street where they had parked their cars. Chuckie had been pulled from Tig's truck and five guys in their late teens or early twenties dressed in jeans and T-shirts were standing in a circle with Chuckie in the middle. He'd just taken a punch to the stomach when Jax slammed on the brakes and SAMCRO spilled out of the car and began fighting with the guys.

These guys weren't full fledged gang bangers. They were a group of guys who hung out together, sold a little pot, sold a little fake crack, stole cars and did some crimes here and there when they got the chance. They never dreamed they would face the wrath of an outlaw motorcycle club.

The one guy who wasn't being beaten up by a Son decided to make a run for it. Jax put the car in park, got out and chased him down. He easily caught the man. For such a tall muscular man, Jax was surprisingly fast.

The guy took a wild swing and got in one and only one punch opening up a cut by Jax's eye. After that, Jax punched the guy in the face and stomach two or three times. When he collapsed to the ground, Jax began kicking him cracking the guy's ribs. Jax was wearing his motorcycle boots for this occasion. They were much better in a fight than his beloved white sneaks. Finally, Jax grabbed the guy by the front of his shirt and hauled him to his feet and brought him back to where his friends were on the ground being kicked.

"Look who I found," Jax said loudly. Sometimes when the guys were administering a good beat down, they were so focused they didn't hear so well.

The Sons paused and looked at Jax.

"He was trying to run away," Jax said. The man looked down unable to look at his buddies.

"What do you want to do with these guys?" Opie asked.

"Options?" Jax asked. "What do you guys think we should do?"

"Kill," Happy said promptly.

Jax pulled out his gun complete with silencer and pointed it at the guy he'd been fighting.

"That could work," Jax said. He had no intention of killing any of the men, but he wasn't about to let them know that.

The five guys had gone deathly pale at Happy's suggestion. The guy that Jax had a hold of pissed his pants. Jax learned that beat downs were all well and good, but terrorizing the beat down targets could also be a lot of fun. The pee stains were visible on the guy's jeans. The Sons laughed. The man hung his head in shame.

"Is that a new gun?" Opie asked.

"Yeah and it sure is sweet."

"Where'd you get that?" Juice asked.

"If I told you that, I'd have to kill you," Jax said and the Sons laughed. It was an old joke but it never failed to get a laugh. "More suggestions?"

"More beatings," Chibs suggested.

"OK. Good idea," Jax said.

"Prison fun," Happy suggested. His eyes were shining brighter than usual. He liked to scare the hell out of guys too.

"What's that?" the guy that Happy had been beating asked with fear in his voice.

"Oral or anal," Juice said.

Happy's guy promptly pissed his pants. There was also a foul odor around the man so he may have done more than just piss his pants.

"Look, we're really sorry," a short thin guy said. He was the one Chibs had been beating.

"You hurt our friend and were going to steal our vehicles," Jax said. "We can't let that go unpunished."

"We could have some phone fun," Juice suggested.

"Get your phones out and hand them to the guy you were beating up," Jax ordered.

The would be car thieves figured that humiliation was the best of all the alternatives that had been suggested so they wasted no time in handing over their phones.

"Pictures," Jax ordered.

"Send them to all their contacts with the caption this is what happens to car thieves and hood rats.

"What the hell is that smell?" Chibs demanded.

"My guy shit his pants," Happy said. All the Sons laughed.

The guys had bloody noses, swollen, black eyes, cuts all over their faces and many cracked ribs. They would all live, but they would carry the physical effects of that night for weeks to come. Mentally, this was an experience none of them would ever forget.

"Done," Juice said after taking several photos of each of the guys and quickly sending them out.

"Do you think we could have our phones back?" one of the guys who had been silent asked.

"Sure," Jax said. "Chuckie toss each of us a phone." As soon as everyone had a phone, they promptly dropped them to the ground and smashed the screens with their boots laughing gleefully as they did it. Despite not being able to beat up Esai, the guys had still found a way to have lots of fun.

Juice's phone rang and he quickly took the call.

"They're done and ready to leave," Juice said when the call ended.

"OK, let's leave these guys with a parting gift of a couple of punches. If we weren't in such a hurry, we could do this ass kicking all night," Jax said. "You're lucky we don't kill you."

A few minutes later, the guys returned to the motel in their vehicles with Chuckie driving Esai's little car. Chuckie rapped on the motel room door and handed the Esai's car keys to Clay.

Quickly Clay and his group got into their vehicles and they headed back to Charming another successful outlaw mission completed. Esai was dead, they had gotten to beat up some guys and, best of all, no one had gotten shot.
