Chapter 24: An explosion of power! Jamal Ascends!
Jamal POV
The wind blew around us with silence all around us as well. I keep my eyes trained on my supposed brother. And take some steps back.
"You seem to not believe me…do you not recognize your brother."
"I recognize you, but my brother was never this cruel! There's no way you can be him!"
He loses his smile and looks down, before saying.
"You have to understand that people change for the greater good!" Jalen shouts
"The greater good?! Brother you have turned evil, I can't understand how this is the greater good when you're killing hundreds of people! Your not the brother I knew! I know there's still good in you!"
"Good in me? You speak these words out of confusion! To me, these people are only a small sacrifice to the true plot of the hero faction! You and your friends are the ends all!"
I stand there in the confusion about what he means until I get it. Everyone he and his teammates has been attacking has been, different types of supernatural life. And the strongest of them all reside here in Kyoto right now. On this stupid class trip. They are after the supernatural life and want to turn the world back to its all-human state!
"It seems like you have finally caught on Jamal. You always have this look when you understand something…ever since I met you."
Looking towards Jalen still, I think of one last question.
"How did you get so strong! You were never this strong when we were children!"
Jalen looks at his hand in mild disgust. Nonetheless stares back at me and speaks.
"I was forcefully turned into a sort of android as they call them."
"But your still human! I can feel it."
He pulls out his sword and points it towards me and continues with.
"I was turned into an android to fulfill the wishes of Cao Cao, and with his convincing, I joined him after my turn from human to android. They have a noble cause, and I will kill whoever to finish it! Even if it's my brother!" And with that, he blasts off towards me.
He comes in fast with 3 swings of his sword that I block with the gauntlet. He grins and starts to swing at me more, but with much more precision. I see a hole in his defense and exploit it quickly with a powerful elbow to his stomach. He coughs up spit and takes 2 steps back. With my show of power, I am quickly on the lead.
I kick him in the jaw and finish with a powerful punch to the stomach. And with the shout of draig, I divide his power 3 times. But with me not being able to sense his energy, I can't tell a difference.
With me pondering on the situation of his power, Jalen takes this chance to get back his breath and he starts another assault on me.
He quickly charges in and sends a strike to my face, catching me off guard. I rebalance myself and send a kick to his hip, but he flips backward and throws multiple ki blasts my way. I bring out the sword of Saiya to cut through them. But right after I cut through them, the smoke from the small explosions covers the area. I grit my teeth in anger and knowing that he has the advantage in this situation.
I grip my sword tightly waiting for Jalen to show, but he seems to be taking his time. The dust slowly starts to dissipate but before it can all leave; I see more dusk get kicked out into the air. He's trying to catch me off guard…
As quickly as the dust is back in the air, I feel a gust of wind soar past me. And my face has a tiny gash on it, with blood starting to trickle out.
He slides on the ground and blitz towards me again, but this time, I'm ready. I dodge his first initial strike and send my fist soaring into his stomach. It strikes so hard the ground below us cracks along with a small shock wave from my strike.
Jalen is sent into the air from my strike to his stomach. He quickly catches his Barings and tries to blast me on the ground but when he looks down, I'm not there. He quickly turns his head back around but is too late as I am already above him, and with as much power as I can muster, I send my fist down into his chest with a roar.
"HEAVENLY RED DRAGONS DRILLING FIST!"
With that attack, he is sent drilling into the dirt with a gigantic flaming drill above him. While that's happening, I divide his power multiple times. But with the little bit of power, I can sense from him, I still see no difference.
I slowly descend to the ground and wait for him to walk out of the crater made by me. The ground starts to rumble and there he goes blasting out of the ground with a large hole in the middle of his gi. He crashes onto the ground with an annoyed look plastered on his face.
"I didn't expect you to be this strong to be completely honest with your brother. Your growth is quite astonishing!" Jalen says with a small smile growing on his face
"Cut the bullshit Jalen. I don't want to hear your fake compliments." Jalen loses his smile, right before I continue with "Your energy is unlimited, isn't it? You have no end to it."
"You also smarter than I remember." Jalen comments
"Just tell me how you got it so we can continue this shit."
"The infinite energy box is something installed in me. I was the strongest out of the group so I guess I sort of got special treatment as they say. You trying to take my energy does nothing as I guess you can tell. You can only pull small bits and pieces compared to your normal massive energy pulls from others. And while you can keep pulling, you'll never weaken me, or get as strong as I am."
I look at Jalen in confusion, and slowly answer him with "You've been holding back more power?"
He laughs at me…and just before I could question him again, there is a massive jump in power in front of me. The rocks and the trees are uprooted in the air. And I take multiple steps back from the power being shown. This is easily the most powerful opponent I've ever faced in my life!
He doesn't even speak before I feel an elbow lodged into my stomach. With a bit of blood trickling out my mouth. I try to send a flaming fist towards his face, but he gets the jump on it and swats it away. With his elbow out of my stomach, he uses that hand to quickly blast me away.
I hit the ground but rebound into the sky. I send around 20 ki blast onto the ground around him. But from the dust and smoke around us, he busts out of there with no damage and sends a powerful strike to my chest. I groan in pain, but just as soon as I do that, I feel another strike hit my liver.
With these two hits, I'm already soaring towards the ground.
After the collision. I stand up slowly and grab the sword of Saiya. I coat it with. Flames and teleport towards Jalen. He joins me in a sword duel with his sword. With each clash of our swords, my magic is slowly being drained out of the sword. His sword has some type of magic deplete or something!
I burst open and let all the fire magic I have surround my body, but with no time to attack, Jalen seals the deal and sends his sword across my chest, and leaves a large bleeding gash there.
I grab my chest in pain, and with my dropping my sword to the ground, he sees the option also to swing his sword in the direction of my face. With a fast swipe of his sword, I'm left with a small scar on my cheek.
With those two quick attacks, his sword has already destroyed half the magic I Was admitting out. I quickly grab at my face also with the blood starting to pour out of that scar too.
He stands over me with a look of hatred cast on his face. I send a blast towards his face, but he just knocks it away like nothing. And proceeds to kick me into the dirt once more.
Jalen walks slowly towards me and throws his sword to the ground. He crosses his arms as he looks down at me.
"Dr. Gero…the man who was holding the fruit of life. I'm sure you know of him."
"I do…he was the one we were trying to protect…What about him?"
"Well, it's funny that you ask that question because he's the one who turned us into an android!"
"He's the one? That bastard is the one who turned you evil!"
Jalen scoffs at my loud outburst.
"Evil? No, this is just destiny. His will to kill Son Goku of the other world is what led him to his hatred of all Saiyans!"
"He hated Saiyans? But why?"
"He was once a proud scientist for the red ribbon army! Until a young boy named Son Goku came and obliterated the whole army. In just one day an entire army was whipped off the map. Along with Dr. Gero's son. Even if Son Goku had not known it, he has fueled a fire in Gero's heart that would not stop until he got vengeance!"
He starts to walk around me while continuing with what he was saying.
"He created 2 androids and they went out into the world and destroyed it all! But the only problem is he was one of the people destroyed. His two androids got tired of his constant orders and just decided to kill him. And so they did…But with death comes new life. Dr. Gero was teleported here due to his supercomputer! It was programmed to take him to alternate earth in a different realm. It was able to be used due to the movement of the rift around planet Vegeta, he was able to find where it was and program his body to be transferred to our earth and rebuild himself. Which he was! He soon came across us and we told him there was a Saiyan in our world, and he gladly turned us into androids to deal with you."
"You say all that, but the earth I've seen in my dreams and the visions draig show me is completely intact! Some boy was able to save the past from the same fate!"
"What knowledge you know is interesting but, does very little to make me care about their planet and what is going on over there."
I try to stand up but send his fist straight into my face. My head jolts back into the ground. And open my eyes to see Jalen staring at me unamused.
"It's a shame my brother has to be the one to die, but I've long since come to terms with this idea!"
He points a ki blast to my body, and I stare at it in fear.
"You and all your pathetic friends' adventures stop here!"
Right as he says that, I feel something snap inside me. My power swells and I slowly stand to my feet. I feel no pain as my fist is balled up to the point they start to bleed.
Jalen tries to punch me, but I catch his fist. And throw him to the side. He rolls on the ground before he flips into the air and lands on his two feet.
Sparks of electricity surround me and I stare at Jalen. He eyes me with confusion, right before he shouts.
"Do you think a little power boost is going to do anything? You are still weak just as your friends are! Just accept your fate!"
"My fate is the same as theirs! They are all fighting around me to survive, and I can't let their faith in me be for nothing!"
"The faith of soon-to-be dead people mean nothing!"
I let go of my fear and let the power surround me. I feel my energy double and my hair grow a little. My scales disappear from my skin, and my aura burst open. With all the power surrounding me, I let out a powerful bellow.
"HHHYYYAAAAAAA"
The ground below me shatters and the trees are uprooted once more. And Jalen has to cover his eyes at the power I have let out.
I let out a deep sigh, and get a feel for my power. This is the power of an ascended super Saiyan I see.
With the dust settling, sparks and electricity surround me. I finally open my eyes. With determination in my heart and the will of my friends, I stand tall ready to continue my fight.
Unknown POV
"You were supposed to be down there to help those kids fight the hero faction minutes ago! What is taking so long!" an unknown voice shouts
"These kids seem to be taking care of themselves pretty well…this Jamal fellow has some serious power to him also! I'm enjoying watching him fight this Jalen fellow"
There is a groan to the side of him. The unknown voice seems to not be very pleased right now.
The figure puts his hands to his chin and ponders, before asking his company a question.
"This young man…he's the one who saved us from that fallen angel right?"
"Oh…yes he is! What's going on in that old head of yours this time…?"
He smirks and his teeth show. His sharp teeth gleam in the darkness of the room, before he comments.
"He would be a great option to train under me! He would benefit from learning the power of the gods!"
Jamal POV
"I never knew you had more power inside of you! Were you hiding it?"
I ignore Jalen and look towards the area with Xenovia and Irina. With my newfound power and speed, I'm there in no time. A blonde-haired woman looks my way, but as her eyes lay on my figure, A fist is sent straight into her stomach. She goes wide eyes, and before any words are uttered, I send a blast through her heart.
I teleport to Kiba and send my sword straight through the black-haired man's chest. And as soon as I rip it out, in the same motion, I quickly disarm him and cut both of his arms off. Leaving Kiba to deal with him.
I teleport over to Kenji and Asia, to find them still in battle with Cao Cao. With my hand outstretched. I fire a powerful blast towards Cao Cao, he tries to block it with the spear, but it's too quick for him and blows a hole right into his stomach. He falls to the ground but doesn't die on the spot. He isn't my problem though.
With the 3 other opponents defeated, I teleport back towards Jalen.
With the wind blowing, I feel my 2 bangs flutter along with it. Jalen stands there strong staring at me with a hatred never seen before.
I stare back with a newfound resolve.
The only way to survive is to kill the one brother I have. If that is what has to be done…then so be it.
Yoooo, I'm back with another chapter! This chapter is all about Jamal and Jalen. The two brothers. They battle it out all chapter long, besides the small appearance of a soon toshown god. Well... sort of god. Also, Jalen is around the power of super perfect cell in his maximum. Jamal in ssj2 is a little bit stronger than ssj2 gohan. So take that how you want to. The next chapter will be more action, and will probably be the conclusion of this battle and arc. But as usual, tell me if you liked the chapter or not, and as always, until next time!
