I've personally never been a big fan of motorcycles. I mean, they look cool. I've just never gotten around to drive one. And frankly, I couldn't really see myself ride one anyhow. You ever tried to ride a bike? Now imagine that with a motor and goes up to 60 miles per hour in a straight line. So, yeah, cool on the outside, super dangerous once your own it.

It was amazing me and Neptune even survived the ride to the bar in the first place. Yang drove like she was invincible, and to be fair, she probably was. But I wasn't! By some divine luck, we made it there in one piece. I was clinging to Yang's jacket for dear life after I saw my life flash numerous times before my eyes, but overall, it was an alright experience. I barely noticed when Yang parked the cycle, got off, and pulled me off of her back. I was still frozen in grip formation.

"How did anyone let you get your license?" Neptune asked after wobbly getting off the cycle.

"I passed my test fair and square," Yang answered. "Besides, it wasn't that bad."

"I'm pretty sure Davey's still paralyzed in fear."

Yang looked at my frozen visage, shrugged and tossed me over to Neptune. He caught me as I shook out of my stoop. We saw Yang approach the bouncer, who looked shocked and afraid to see her.

"Hey, you can't be back here-!" The bouncer tried to ward Yang off. That got him punted through the door. Neptune ran with me inside to see Yang introduce herself to the club.

"Honey, I'm home!"

With that, the previously bass of the club became silent as club-goers and workers stared at her. It was like this for several seconds before someone shouted…

"It's her! Run for it!"

With that, club-goers ran away chaotically while bodyguards wielded their weapons in retaliation.

"Yang, I thought they were cool with you!" Neptune shouted.

"They were," Yang rolled her neck and cracked her knuckles. "Guess I gotta teach them again."

Before everyone got into a brawl, a commanding voice rung through the club.

"Everybody, enough!"

We turned to see the bartender giving out the orders. He turned to face Yang, clearly displeased with her being here but resigned.

The bartender sighed, "What do ya want, Blondie?"

Yang pretty quickly turned friendly, though I suspected she was disappointed in not fighting an entire club. She moseyed her way over to the bar, taking a seat at a stool.

"Well, first, I'd like that Strawberry Sunrise you owe me," Yang started.

The bartender, clearly frustrated at being told what to do by Yang, nevertheless mixed Yang's drink pretty quickly. Yang took a quick sip of it.

"Ah," she exhaled. "Man, that's good."

"Now, is that all or is there more you're here to pester me with Blondie," The bartender asked. "And who's your friends?"

"Oh," Yang turned to face us. "Neptune and Davey, meet Junior. Junior meet Neptune and Davey."

"Odd crowd you're with, Blondie."

"And why's that?"

"Because Blue Boy over there looks like he's two drinks in before blackout…"

"Hey, I can hold my own liquor," Neptune protested. "I just don't want to prove it."

"And that," Junior turned to point at me. "Is a literal wild animal."

"Sorry, didn't see any no pets allowed signs out front," I muttered.

Junior's expression became even more deadpan.

"Oh, great, it talks."

"You seem to take that very easily," Neptune pointed out.

"Frankly, with all of the crap I have to put up with, I've learned to take the craziness that comes with this job."

"So, what's your deal with Junior over here," I tuned and asked Yang.

She put her drink down before responding.

"Oh, not much. I come down here to party sometimes. Last time I came, I asked him for information about someone I was looking for. He didn't have it, and I beat up his entire staff."

"Seriously?!" Neptune exclaimed in a whisper. "You're trying to get information from the guy who definitely has a grudge against you?"

"Hey, I won that fight fair and square. And Junior's got the wounds to prove it."

"Don't push it, Blondie," Junior threatened while cleaning his cup.

"Or what? You'll try and throw me out?" Yang taunted. "We both know how well that went last time."

"Okay, people, let's tune this down," I held out my hands in a "peace" fashion. "We can act like civilized people, right?"

"Screw it, whatever," Junior shrugged. "Just tell me what you want then get out."

"Fine," Yang rolled her eyes. "We're looking for someone."

"If it's that woman again, I'm telling ya, Blondie, I've never seen her in my life."

"Not her," Yang said too quickly. But she returned to her usual tone. "We're looking for Roman Torchwick."

Junior raised an eyebrow at that.

"Torchwick? The hell you want with Torchwick?"

"Well, one, he's a criminal. And two, we bust him, and we don't bust you."

Junior scoffed and let out a small chuckle.

"Okay, what do ya want to know?"

"Now, I know there's not much for you, but-" Neptune started to explain, but stopped when Junior's words connected. "Wait, you're selling him out just like that?"

"Yep."

"Huh," I shrugged. "Guess there's no honor among crooks."

"Oh, there is," Junior elaborated. "Just not with that one. See, he comes in, same night as her coincidently," He pointed to Yang. "Asking to hire some of my boys for a dust robbery. Not only does that pompous ass botch it up and lands most of my boys in jail, he also never paid the additional fees! Screw him for all I care."

"So, you'll tell us where he is?" Yang asked.

"Yeah, just give me your scroll. I'll put in his location."

As Yang slide her scroll over, she added, "Better not put any viruses on this."

"Don't worry, that ain't my skill type."

"This was…really easy," Neptune observed. "Honestly, I'd thought it'd be much worse."

"Yeah, expected at least one fight," Yang noted. She slid her scroll back from Junior. "Anyway, thanks, Junior. I'll give this place a recommendation to my friends."

"If they're anything like you, don't," Junior said.

Yang stood up and said, "Well, see ya. Come on, Davey. Davey?"

She and Neptune looked around trying to find me until a yelp drew them back to the bar.

See, I decided to take the plunge and "taste test" some of Junior's beverages. But, before I could even have one shot, the bartender grabbed me by the scruff and raised. It was really embarrassing with the bottle in hand.

"Uh," I stammered. "Another one on the house?"

Junior wordlessly snatched the bottle from my hand and rudely tossed me to Yang.

"Out," he commanded. "And I don't want that rodent anywhere near my bar again."

"Got it, got it," Yang muttered as she escorted me out of there.

"Uh, have a nice night," Neptune said meekly before leaving.

"It's not," Junior said before the door closed as we got outside.

Yang put me at eye-level with her.

"Davey, what was that?" She asked.

"Yeah, are you insane? Stealing from criminal's own booze right in front of him," Neptune questioned.

"I would have used a more positive sounding way to put it, but Blue Boy's got a point."

"Hey, I wanted to expand my pallet. Take a dive into my first step of hard party drinking," I defended myself.

"Dude, if you want to get drunk, just come over to my house. I can sneak my dad's and uncle's booze while you're there," Yang reasoned.

"Yeah, but it's not as fun as stealing from a criminal."

"You both are crazy, especially you Yang," Neptune said as we approached Yang's bike. "I mean, I already got some idea from Sun, but you guys are nuts."

"Aw come on, Blue Boy," Yang cooed. "You know you like crazy. Now come on," She said as she put on her helmet, "We got bad guys to bust."

With all of us on, Yang revved the engine and we sped off to the location. Turns out, Torchwick was supposed to be at some warehouse in Vale's industrial sector. That meant it would take awhile for us to get there.

By the time we got on the freeway, Yang's scroll began to ring.

"Aw man, I'm busy," Yang said over the roar of the bike's engine. "Davey, can you take it?"

"Yeah, hold on!" I answered. I slowly climbed to till I can reach Yang's scroll.

"Y'ello, you've reached Yang's personal hotline," I said in as close to a telemarketer's voice as I could. "She's busy at the moment, so leave a call after the beep."

But before I could get to the beep, Blake's voice cut through.

"Davey, is that you? Where's Yang?" Blake's voice sounded like she was running.

"I'm here," Yang called out. "What's going on?"

"We found Torchwick. He's working with the White Fang," Blake explained. "He's been stealing Atlas tech along with the Dust. We got found and now we're…"

"WE'RE BEING CHASED BY A GIANT FREAKIN' ROBOT SUIT!" Sun shouted over the phone.

"What?!" We all exclaimed.

"Where are you guys?!" Yang asked.

"We're trying to lead him to somewhere deserted. I think we're on one of the highways."

"Then that's where we're going," Yang said as she pulled a hard turn and went towards the interconnecting highways.

We raced along the highway, over towering bridges trying to find Blake, Sun and the mecha. Cars drove along like it was usual, only honking their horns when Yang serves in-between lanes.

"How hard is it to find a giant robot?" I questioned. "It's supposed to be big!"

Yang's phone rang again. I answered it.

"Y'ello."

"Where are you guys?" Blake's voice came out as desperate. "I don't know how much longer we can lead him."

"Where are you?" Yang yelled.

"Wait a minute, I think I see you. We'll move over there."

Before I could ask what, the call was hung up. A couple seconds later, two blurs went past us.

"Was that Sun and Blake," I asked.

We couldn't confirm that because the road shook beneath us. We turned to see the giant mecha running towards us, flinging any cars unlucky enough to get in its way.

I let out a not very nice word while Neptune screamed at the mechanical giant approaching us.

"You guys take care of the robot!" Yang yelled. "I'm a bit busy driving here!"

Yang's words seemed to calm us down as I shook off my fear.

"Hold on," I yelled as I reached for my Mod Gun. "I got this!"

I aimed my Mod Gun, in Rifle mode, at the mecha suit. My shots unfortunately didn't do anything as they were bounced off of its armor.

"Uh, it's not working," I said. "You got anything else?"

"Let me try," Neptune pulled down his googles and lifted his weapon. His shots did better than mine, actually making the mecha flinch. Not stop, but flinch and left scorch marks. That didn't make things any better.

"Uh, this isn't good," Neptune said. "We need to help."

"Ugh, hold on," Yang said.

She held the brake as the motorcycle slid to a stop. We skidded underneath the mecha's legs before Yang pushed on the gas again.

"Someone, take the wheel!" Yang yelled.

That was the only warning before she lept off the bike and grabbed onto the mecha. She began to punch/shotgun the mech until it fell off the highway. Meanwhile, me and Neptune attempted to regain control of the motorcycle. That didn't work, as we skidded on the highway which ended with both of us rolling on the highway.

"Ooh," I groaned in pain. "That could have gone better."

"Yep, yep," Neptune groaned as well. "Argh, I should have stayed in the dorm. Why did I let Sun talk me into this?" He was mainly talking to himself now.

"Hey." We looked up to see Sun hanging from a post light.

"How's it going," I asked, waiting for the inevitable pun.

"Oh, you know, hanging." Hah.

"Jeez, what happened to you," Neptune asked.

"Being chased by a giant robot was not as fun as I thought it would be," Sun noted. He then turned to where the mecha ran off to. "You think we should follow them? Ruby and Weiss should be there soon."

"Honestly, nah," I said. "Yang and her friends can take it down."

"That seems like a lot of trust to put on four people," Neptune said.

"Yeah, but those four have done some crazy things before. I think they can handle it."

"So," Neptune said over the empty freeway. "What now?"

"Well," Sun climbed down from the pole and landed down with us. "I saw this nice noodle shop down a couple ways away. Wanna get some?"

"Eh, sure," I shrugged. "Let's go."

As me and Sun started to walk, Neptune called behind us.

"What about the bike?"

"I would say bring it, but I know Yang would kill anyone if she found out someone touched it," I said. "It's best to leave it for her."

Neptune looked back at the bike and then to us, shrugged and walked with us.

At the noodle shop, called Simple Wok's Noodles, me, Sun and Neptune just sat at a table and eating.

"You know," Neptune pointed to me. "I never understand how you can eat, like, people food and not get sick."

"Well, I've been around for this long and haven't got food poisoning yet," I shrugged. "I might as well be invincible."

"That doesn't sound healthy at all."

Sun laughed. Neptune shrugged. And I laughed it off.

Ah, man. I hope Yang doesn't get mad about the bike.

Man, it took almost nearly as long to get this out. But, hey, I did it. And I think I did alright with it.

So, I really don't have anything else to note besides me blaming lack of uploads with college and laziness. Once again, thank you to everyone who has followed, favorited and made comments.

I might take a break in writing due to college life. I'll thinking of stories that I won't publish on this site, like published in magazines and such. I'll be sure to try and update as much as I can.

That's all I have to say for now. See ya next time!
