Chapter 6

A/N; Hello my wonderful readers. I hope you enjoy this chapter. It was a right pain to write let me tell you. Anyways, on with the show...

Hermione and Edward spent the rest of Saturday evening together at her house. Edward texted Carlisle to let him know where he was and was sent back a message saying to bring Hermione over on Sunday to meet everybody officially.

They spent the majority of the evening talking about her witchcraft and showing him spells, he especially enjoyed seeing her Patronus which ironically had changed since she 'died' to a Phoenix. She was still unsure as to why it had changed. She guessed it was a traumatic life experience which changed it, a bit similar to that of Tonk's Patronus changing after she fell in love with Remus. She sighed a little thinking about them. She missed her godson Teddy. She spoke to him all the time but it wasn't safe to go back there. After all, she left to protect him.

"Are you okay?" Edward asked after hearing her sigh.

"Yes, perfectly fine. I was just remembering my Godson, Teddy, he is a Metamorphagus, which pretty much means he can change his appearance at will with no restraints. He wants to be blonde, with green skin and a pigs nose, then he can change himself to look that way. His mother, Nymphadora Tonks, who preferred to be called just Tonks was one also. She was an Auror which is our version of the Police. She was very good at what she did. Teddy was just a few weeks old when both his mother and father Remus Lupin, went into the Battle of Hogwarts and got killed by Death Eaters, who are the followers of the Dark Lord we were trying to beat. He lives with his Grandmother at the moment but sees his Godfather, and my best friend, Harry often."

"Is he… Is he why you left?" Edward questioned.

"Partly. I spent a little time away getting my thirst under control, or so I thought. It wasn't until I encountered Teddy for the first time, that I realised that Humans were not my preferred food source. I was immediately attracted to Magical Beings. Whether that be creatures or Witches and Wizards. When I held him for the first time, I didn't realise I was leaning down to take a bite until Teddy got wrestled off me and I was stunned. When I awoke my friends had me in a full body bind and questioned me. I didn't even know what was happening. I asked them to untie me and they did. I immediately fled and have not returned since."

"Oh Hermione, I'm so sorry." Edward said leaning forward and kissing Hermione on her forehead to comfort her. She leaned into his embrace and sighed again.

"It's something I'm going to have to learn to accept. At least, unless I can find an antidote. I'm pretty good at making Potions you see, and whilst I'm making Healing Potions for the local Hospitals, I've also been tinkering around with a Vampire suppressant. It is used for Type A Vampire's mostly, and of course we are Type B, but it should still work. It supresses the appetite enough for them to be able to function without turning into a new Jack the Ripper."

"Wow. That's amazing. If you ever need any help…" Edward offered. Hermione smiled and nodded before moving onto other subjects. It wasn't long before they got into a conversation about Magical Creatures.

When Hermione explained that the mountain lion in her living room wasn't actually a mountain lion, that's when Edward started to get confused.

"So, Magical Creatures can look like normal animals?" Edward questioned.

"Some, yes, with a few minor differences, but usually no they don't look like normal animals." Hermione explained before summoning her copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them off the bookshelf and riffling through the pages once it landed in her lap, "For example; Erumpant's look like nothing I've ever seen before" She said showing him the picture of the Erumpant, before moving to another page and showing him the other creature, "and Nundu's are pretty scary looking. Mooncalves only come out of a full moon and of course Dragons, but they are usually secluded or they live in Dragon Reserves."

"Sorry, I think I may have misheard you, did you just say Dragons?" Edward queried. Hermione nodded, once again flicking through the pages of the book before she came to the Dragon section of the book. A large part of the tome was taken up with Dragons and its Subspecies.

"Yes, we have Dragons. There are multiple species of Dragons, both Land and Water Dragons. There are also Subspecies such as Wyverns, Drakes and Coatl's." It took Hermione a couple of hours to explain by which point the moon had reached the peak in the sky before slowly starting its decent. They were so engrossed in their conversation that they barely noticed that it was nearly a brand new day.

"I can't wait for you to tell Emmett about this. He will lose his shit." Edward laughed waving his hand around gesturing to the multitude of books littering the living room. He then looked back at Hermione who was tending to the still unnamed Wampus Cat and giving it it's breakfast. "Hermione? Would you like to meet my family today?"

Hermione turned around and looked at the bronze haired vampire before smiling serenely at him, "Yes, okay. I would love to meet them."

"I will warn you, Esme and Carlisle are very excited about finally meeting you. Ever since Alice saw that first vision of you…" Edward started before getting cut off.

"Vision? What Vision?" Hermione asked having turned back around to deal with the little kitten who was demanding some attention from her new guardian.

"Well, Alice had a vision before we met about you and me." Edward attempted to explain. Hermione turned around to look at Edward again with the kitten in her arms.

"About what?" She queried worriedly.

"Well… it was about… it was about what we are to one another." Edward stammered his answer a bit worried for her reaction.

"Our True Mates connection?" She asked pushing some hair behind her ear and lowering the kitten back down into her playpen and waving her hand to get the toys to play with the kitten so she could focus all her attention onto the current conversation.

"Yes." He admitted.

"Did… Did she see…" Hermione rubbed her face and took a deep breath, "Did she see our bonding?"

"If I said yes, would you be mad?" Edward checked taking a couple of steps back in case he needed to flee. He didn't know what her reactions would be. However, he recalled the first time they found out that Alice saw when one of his family members decided to have sex. Alice has visions all the time, but sometimes she gets more powerful ones which are of importance and so they cause her to stop what she is doing and pay attention. Alice came out of the vision quickly and said it wasn't a good idea for Rosalie and Emmett to go have sex somewhere as there were humans in the area and they'd see them. Alice was chased by Rosalie all over the UK for that. It took a good couple of years to understand that Alice was not a Voyeur but she had visions of everybody's decisions and casted aside the ones that wouldn't cause any issues and told us of the ones that would. Unfortunately for Rosalie and Emmett that day, if they'd been seen, it would have cause a whole new legion of Vampire Hunters. It then would have potentially spread to cause further issues for other magical beings.

"Did you see it?" Hermione asked with a mischievous smile and a look that said unspeakable things were about to happen.

"Y-Yes." Edward stammered back now staring at her heated eyes as she casually stalked towards him. She was the predator and he was now the prey.

"Did you enjoy it?" She whispered as she drew nearer and placed her hand on his chest playing with the buttons on his shirt.

Edward could not speak all he could do was nod. He had never been in this position before. Hermione drew even closer so he could feel her breath on his face and her breasts against his chest heaving with heavy breath. She leant in closer and he felt her nipples harden underneath her t-shirt. He managed to suppress a moan, however, he could not stop the jolt of electricity running down to his cock making it harden against his jeans. Edward was too busy focusing on how he was feeling, that he barely noticed her lean towards his right ear and whisper, "Edward, did you enjoy the show? Would you like to try the real thing?" She ran her hand down his shirt buttons and did not even touch them before the buttons were popping out of the button holes. Oh Fuck, he loved magic.

Before he knew it he was shirtless and his trousers were undone and his cock was straining against his boxers. He tried to tell her to stop. He didn't believe in sex before marriage, however, she was being very convincing.

Just before she managed to get herself completely naked because he had barely even touched her, let alone her clothes, she was just standing there in the most sexiest underwear set he had ever seen. Her light brown skin was barely covered in a burgundy lace bralette that he could see the dark outline of her nipples through and her taught stomach was uncovered except for the small string detail of the triangle cut out of the matching burgundy panties she was wearing. He looked her up and down and noted that her nipples hardened into stiff peaks as he appraised her. He groaned as he stepped back slightly so she wouldn't feel the growing bulge in his boxers.

"We can't Hermione." He breathed out barely keeping his composure.

"Why not?"

"We just can't, okay Hermione?" Edward mumbled, whilst still looking like he wanted to pounce on her, but he was holding himself back for some unknown reason.

"Edward it's fine, we are adults and can make this decision ourselves. It's not like I'm a virgin anyway." She shrugged.

"You're not… You're not a virgin?" He stuttered. His eyes taking a hard edge to them.

"No. Haven't been since I was fifteen years old. Lost my virginity to some Bulgarian wizard. He wasn't even very good." She said shaking her head. He then growled a little knowing that he wasn't going to be her first.

"How many?" Edward growled.

"A few. Why does it matter?"

"Because it does." He demanded, looking quite murderous. She looked at him sharply and saw the decision written all over his face. She didn't need her ability to tell her to tread carefully with him right now.

"You're not going to kill them, Edward." She said calmly, "Why would it matter anyway, it's not like I'm going to judge you for any ex's you've slept with am I?" she said looking at him. She noticed that he looked away slightly as if a bit put off by the whole idea, then it struck her. He was over 100 years old. Born in the 1900's if she recalled from their previous conversations. Things were much more restrictive back then, especially in America, "That is unless you've never slept with anybody?" She finally asked the bronze haired vampire opposite her. He started a little before edging away from her, Edward didn't hide his reaction to her line of questioning very well at all, and so she continued prodding, "Edward, are you a virgin?" Edward growled before walking away from he, running his hands through his hair as he paced. She sauntered towards him and ran a hand soothingly down his arm, "You can tell me you know. I'm never going to judge you Edward. Never."

"I… I… Yes, I am." He admitted through a barely heard whisper.

"Out of curiosity, why have you never had sex?" Hermione queried, she always needed to know the answers.

"Because… Because it's tradition to wait until marriage before having sex…" He groaned whilst closing his eyes and tipping his head back to look away from her, he couldn't bare the temptation that she was right now.

"Tradition is just peer pressure from people who are a long time dead. Plus, times have changed. Virginity is just a social construct now, and it's not like I can get Pregnant anyway, which was the main reason for waiting until marriage, since birth control wasn't a thing." she shrugged before closing the distance between them, "but if you don't feel comfortable we can stop."

Edward still wouldn't look at her and so she reached up to his face bringing it around to face her before whispering in his ear, "Edward, it's not anything to be embarrassed by. Think of it this way, I can teach you exactly what I like, and we can learn together about what you like." Hermione reasoned, "Plus, you can still do other things without having sex you know." She whispered conspiratorially, leaning closer towards him and taking a hold of his hand and guiding it to her barely covered breast. He reluctantly allowed her to move him and she then took a hold of his hand under hers and guided him through touching her. Swiping his thumb gently over her nipple making it raise again and causing her to groan a little she then grabbed a hold of his other hand and she was guiding it down her body to the apex of her thighs, when Edward pulled his hand back slightly, when they nearly reached her intended destination.

"Do you still want to wait?" She asked him after noticing his hesitancy.

"No! Well, yes. I want to wait to have sex until marriage but we can do other things until then right?" Edward asked still looking at her hungrily.

"Of course we can. I'm not trying to pressure you Edward, if you really don't want to do this we can stop. I just really want you, anyway that I can have you. If waiting until marriage is a deal breaker though, then we can wait until we are both ready."

Edward nodded at her before leaning in and kissing her fiercely. He moved her hand away and placed it on his bulging erection before movijg his hand back to her sweet spot. He then started rubbing the gusset of her panties noticing how wet she was for him already before moving it aside and plunging a finger into her wet heat. Hermione took the opportunity to remove his boxers and fist his erection in her tiny hands, spreading the pre-cum around his head and moving her hands up and down in time with his fingers. Both moaning, it didn't take long before clothes were completely shed and littering Hermione's living room floor. Even though they were not going to have sex, there was plenty of other things they could do to explore one another's bodies in the meantime.

They spent the rest of the morning doing just that, bringing each other to countless orgasms; if they were humans they would have fallen asleep due to exhaustion a while ago.

~*~HG~*~EC~*~

It was mid-morning by the time they decided to get dressed. Hermione dealt with the kitten before grabbing hold of Edwards hand and apparating them close to his house before running the rest of the way. Edward led her to the front door so she got full view of the house. It was incredible and I told him so.

"My mom, Esme, she's an architect and she designs all the homes we live in all over the world. This one was over 100 years old before she restored it. It was called The River House, because it is pretty much located on the banks of the Calawah River."

"It's beautiful." She breathed taking in the stunning house. It is large and graceful in its appearance, rectangular in shape and well-proportioned, painted in a faint white colour. The house itself was three stories tall with a deep porch that wrapped around the front of the house. There was a seating area outside with a little table next to it to enjoy on sunny days.

As he took her inside the house and began the tour, she noted the southern wall was almost entirely made of glass with its stunning floor to ceiling windows which provided a stunning view of the previously mentioned, Calawah River. The entire first floor was bright and open with very few internal walls, with a wide central staircase to the left and a raised area where a stunning grand piano sat as a focal point. There was also a presumably rarely used kitchen and dining room.

When Edward saw her looking at the dining table which looked too opulent not to be used, he explained that they had their family meetings in the dining area as it was the easiest place. He continued her a brief tour explaining that on the second floor was some of the bedrooms mainly Rosalie and Emmett's at the top of the staircase and Alice and Jaspers next to Jasper's study. He explained that Hermione would probably become very familiar with Alice's room as it was one of the only room's in the house with an attached closest which was larger than the room itself. Carlisle's office was next door to Alice and Jasper's boudoir with an area inside for Esme's study and Carlisle's personal library. Hermione had to stop herself from going over to the bookcases and losing herself inside of them. If she continued growing her relationship with her mate, she would more than likely have plenty of time to peruse the expansive bookshelves that the Cullen Coven had amassed.

The third floor hosted Carlisle and Esme's bedroom at the top of the stairs and Edward's room was south facing and so was one of few rooms with floor to ceiling windows. The remainder of the third floor is called the library and according to Edward was used for any technically illegal activities, such forging birth certificates or hacking into computer systems to maintain their various identities and keep them safe from human's.

As Hermione and Edward had finished the tour she took note of something, "Hey Edward, where is everybody?" she queried after not spotting anybody at all on their tour of the house.

"Alice sent a message earlier. She saw the decision to come over and wanted me to show you around without everybody smothering you, and so she suggested they go hunting. They should be on their way back now." He answered.

"Oh Edward, they didn't have to leave for me. I'm used to being surrounded by people. One of my best friends was one of seven siblings. The majority of the time there were at least eight people in the house at once, since the two eldest had moved out by that point however, on Christmas holidays or other events there could be up to eleven or more people shoved into their house."

"Wow, that's a big family."

"Yes, and it was full of love, magic and acceptance. Molly still sends me a Weasley sweater every Christmas. She says although I have to stay away for their safety, that I'm still her daughter and she will try to include me as much as she can."

"You miss them?"

"Of course, they're my family. I even stupidly bought a car, which incidentally I don't use often, so I could fit my friends children in if I ever get control of the thirst I have for them. I want to have them in my life, I just can't at the moment. A girl can dream though right?" She laughed an insincere kind of laugh.

At that moment Hermione heard numerous sets of feet running towards the house. She realized the rest of the Cullen's were returning.

Hermione took in a deep fortifying breath before strengthening her occlumency shields. She did not know if the Coven Leader or his wife had any abilities. Edward hadn't mentioned it but it's better to be safe than sorry in her personal opinion.

"They'll love you, I promise. Alice and Rosalie already do and Rosalie is the hardest one to impress out of all of us, you've managed to win her over, the others will be easy. Plus, Alice and Esme are already planning our Bonding ceremony…" He laughed a little uneasy at the last comment.

"Sounds like somebody else I know. Can't help but try and host a party for everything."

"Words of advice. Never go shopping with Alice. Just let her buy your clothes for you. She'll see when she picks it up whether you like it or not so it's pretty useless you even being there to be honest." He laughed a little before turning Hermione back downstairs and towards the living room where the big back window was open for the family to come in.

The first through the door was Jasper, closely followed by Emmett and then a slightly older male, looked in maybe his early 20s, with blond hair and butterscotch colored eyes. He had an incredibly friendly face which just made you feel completely at ease.

The next through the window was a female she had never seen before which must have meant it was the Matriarch of the family. She had a heart shaped face and copper colored hair. She was incredibly beautiful, and looked very excited when she saw Hermione. As she came over Hermione's anxiety spiked and she started to feel incredibly nervous.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, I'm Esme, and this is my husband Carlisle." She said in a sweet voice gesturing to the male behind her.

Hermione immediately relaxed and eyed Jasper slyly noticing her immediate change in mood and gave him a glare to which he shifted slightly with an apologetic smile. "It's a pleasure to meet you too Esme. You have a beautiful home. Edward tells me you designed it yourself?" She added.

"Oh yes. It was very dilapidated when we first saw it. I renovated the entire house and modernized it. It will make a wonderful profit when we sell." Esme smiled looking around her house. You could see she was very proud of herself.

"Is that what you do then? Buy houses in need of renovation, live there and then sell after a while. If so, that's a lovely way of bringing new life to an older house."

"Yes actually. I love the idea of bringing life to something that people have kind of given up on."

"Well, it's brilliant and the house is incredible." Hermione smiled at her.

I like her Edward, you've chosen well. Esme said to Edward. He nodded slightly and smiled at his adoptive Mother.

Carlisle took that moment to come over and officially introduce himself, "Hermione, wonderful to finally meet you. I'm Carlisle the Coven Leader."

Bowing her head in respect Hermione held her hand out to shake. As she did she tilted her head to the side slightly. She was just staring at Carlisle. Edward, why is she staring at me?. Edward not knowing just shrugged his shoulders.

"Hermione dear, are you alright?" Carlisle questioned. Looking her over like he was one of her patients in the hospital.

"Yes, sorry. I just had a feeling when I touched you…" Hermione trailed off. She continued to stare at Carlisle strangely before Esme came over and placed her hand of Hermione's arm, to which then Hermione immediately turned to look at Esme with the same look.

"Edward, I thought you said that your coven leader and his wife didn't have abilities?"

"We don't dear. We are some of the unlucky few." Carlisle answered with a wry smile on his face.

"No, no you aren't." Hermione shook her head still looking at Esme. She again tilted her head before lifting her hand slightly and placing it near Esme's face, "Do you mind?" She asked before Esme shook her head and she placed her hand on Esme's temple. Hermione then used Legilimency to delve through Esme's memories.

She started flickering through Esme's memories from before she was a vampire and to just after. Hermione noted that Esme was a person who was very loving and gentle at her core. She had an incredible capability of love. She could see the love she had for her abusive husband, even though she knew she had to leave for her safety and that of her child, she still loved him. She even loved him now, not because of who he was, no she understood that he was an abusive man and probably didn't love her as much as she loved him, however, she couldn't hate somebody who gave her, her son, Jonathan. A mothers love is unfathomable and unquestionable. A mother would do anything for their child. Carlisle though, what she felt for Carlisle was unmeasurable. She could see their connection in Esme's mind. They weren't just True Mates. They were Soul Mates. Esme had the ability to love beyond measure and to project that love upon others allowing them to love and find love. No wonder the entire Coven was made up of True Mates. They were being led by a vampire who radiated love.

Can you see what is happening? Carlisle asked, Edward shook his head, he could just see memories flittering around Esme's head but Esme was not concerned she was relaxed and just allowed Hermione to continue even through all the awful and heart wrenching memories that she saw.

Hermione eventually withdrew from Esme's mind and took a deep, centering breath. "Esme. You have power over Love. You have the ability to Love beyond anything I've ever seen before. You also draw in Soul Mates which is possibly why Emmett, Alice and Jasper, and myself were pulled to you." Hermione finally said, "You feed off the Love around you, making both yourself and the family unit stronger. It's why you all get on so well. You radiate so much Love that it causes everybody to form an emotional attachment to yourself, and Carlisle."

"Power over Love?" Esme said in a whisper.

"Yes, it's incredible really. It stems back from your first encounter with Carlisle as a young girl. You fell in love with him even then. Your ability to Love is unparalleled. No wonder your Coven is so full of Love. Usually it's incredibly rare for Vampires to find their True Mates, however, your entire Coven, has found theirs." Hermione smiled.

"How does it work?" Carlisle asked.

"Unsure really. It doesn't manipulate people into feeling Love for somebody they don't. She just enhances the feelings already there. I believe she is also drawn to places where the Soulmates are. For example, I saw that it was Esme who suggested moving to Tennessee, which is where Rosalie found Emmett, who is her True Mate. Esme also suggested moving to Philadelphia, which is where Alice and Jasper found you in 1950, two years after finding one another. The reason you moved back to Forks was because Esme suggested it, which was possibly because she sensed me in the area and hoped we would find one another. It's not anything she realises is happening, I guess it's more like a wish fulfilment? She wants everybody in her family to experience Love. So she guides you to the places where you may meet the people you're destined to be with which is why you moved back here, so Edward would eventually meet me." Hermione said smiling, "Out of curiosity where were you living before here?"

"We lived in England for a few years. We were near the Northumberland National Park." Carlisle answered.

"So right near the Scottish Border?" Hermione asks her eyes lighting up.

"Yes. That's right." Carlisle answered with a nod of his head. He looked around at everybody else and they were all focused on both Esme and Hermione.

"What years did you live there?" Hermione questioned the room at large.

"We lived there between 1991-1998" Alice answered, still not understanding the relevance of the questions they were being asked.

"I went to a private school in Scotland between 1991-1998. You moved after 1998 because you didn't feel a pull to stay there anymore. Am I right?" Hermione clarified getting very excited by the prospect of figuring out that Esme did have an ability after all.

"I… Well, yes." Esme mumbled, completely stunned.

"I got bitten in 1998 and immediately left towards Europe and kept country hopping. Eventually I went to America before settling in Forks." Hermione told them. Everybody turned to look at Esme in shock and wonder. They were all drawn here because of her unique ability to love and radiate love around them. Rosalie especially looked incredibly grateful to Esme. Alice was looking at Jasper with a small smile on their face. No wonder she had visions of meeting this Coven of Vampires and immediately feeling at home with them. Like they were her family.

"Well, that's incredible." Rosalie said looking at Esme with adoration. She was amazed that she had guided her to her Emmett. She was so miserable in her like before Emmett came into it. If Esme was the reason she found him, she would be eternally grateful. Rosalie walked over to Esme and pulled her into a hug, she was speaking to Esme quietly that you could not hear what exactly was said between the both, but Hermione was pretty sure that Rosalie was saying thank you to Esme for helping her find Emmett.

"I don't think that's all though. Carlisle, I believe you may have a gift also." Hermione suggested stumping the others all the more.

"What do you mean?" Jasper asked, looking at his Coven Leader, who appeared confused.

"What I mean is, is that your father has the natural ability to Heal." Hermione explained, "Which means, if learned how to harness correctly. You could potentially make us mostly human again, or at least, Vampires could have the ability to reproduce."
