Darth Simp; Yeah, we'll be getting that explanation pretty soon. His meeting with Mariella is gonna be pretty interesting to see~
makotoxvalerie; Yeah, that would be pretty interesting for his backstory. It would be interesting if he had that kind of backstory. We'll be seeing pretty soon if he does have such relations yeah. Yeah, if he did marry them, he could be seen like that. Venta's Devils history will be explored as the story goes on.
helios darkus; Yeah, it's a cool weapon. It would fit the theme of the Diamond Kingdom for sure. That would be cool with knives. Would be nice to have a nice healing technique to fall back on. That would be cool with a strong move like that. Thanks for the suggestions!

Yeah, Galleo did his best with the support that he had. Yeah, she has a Venta doll. Yeah, they've been trained quite well. Lotus was serious at parts but mostly aloof. Yeah, they've got a lot of questions, questions Venta will answer when the time comes. Venta's grimoires design isn't visible, otherwise people would be tell a few things, so he made sure that it was difficult to know what it looked like. We'll see more of his connection to the Diamond Kingdoom soon. His history with Secre shall be explored in time. Yeah, he could keep his arm. Thanks for the harem suggestions. Yeah, Sylph could do. Yuno and Sylph could be. Undine could be yeah. The arc will be finishing pretty soon. Yeah, they could go towards the Heart Kingdom. Vanessa saying that could be fun. We'll get some backstory soon.

Valtryek sama; He and Sylph will have meetings with one another from time to time. He could fight them during that part of the story to show they've become strong and still have ways to go yet. That would be cool if he could do such things during those matches, thanks for the suggestions!

With those reviews out of the way, it's time to start the chapter!
Galleo's assault!
Travelling together, Venta, Noelle and Mimosa continued riding on top of the creature that Venta seemingly had tamed. Mimosa and Noelle had more questions, they didn't even know where to begin and end with the questions.
Some questions they thought might be too much to ask.
Some they knew they thought would be okay to ask, but didn't know how to word them all that well.
Mimosa however looked directly towards Venta, and tilted her head.
"Venta-kun, do you mind if I ask a question?"
"Sure, what is it?"
Mimosa thought what would be the best way to ask this next question.
But then she decided to ask straight out, knowing that would be the best thing to currently do.
"I was just wondering, are you worried about what others might say if they knew you were from the Diamond Kingdom? It doesn't bother me that you're from the Diamond Kingdom personally, as I know you are kind, and very generous."
Venta thought that was very sweet of her to say.
If that was a reason, then he certainly would have felt better from her words.
Though it wasn't a true reason, and thought the best way to word it.
"That's quite nice of you to say Mimosa-san. I'm glad to know that even if I was from the Diamond Kingdom, you'd accept me regardless. I know that most would assume that being from the Diamond Kingdom that I'd be a spy or something that's trying to gather intelligence on the Clover Kingdom so we can take over."
Noelle could see why others would draw such a conclusion.
But she couldn't.
Perhaps if she had only met him and didn't know anything about him, then maybe.
But now that she knew a good deal about him, it told her that he had good intentions.
He had helped not only her, but her sister Nebra and even Mimosa as well.
Hearing about different exploits, it was clear that he was a good person and that she could depend on him a good deal.
"Thinking that way about you might have been how I might have acted if I didn't know you. But I can't see you being a spy, for one you're too carefree. You wouldn't be able to do the duties of a spy, much less be a convincing one anyway."
Venta smiled at the playful jab that she was giving him.
"Haha, maybe you're right about that Noelle-san."
Noelle nodded again and again.
"Exactly, so you don't have to worry about that. So, if it wasn't that, how come you didn't say? Were you worried...about us knowing, maybe the Diamond Kingdom could do something to us?"
Venta thought about it for a few moments, and then began explaining the best that he could do.
"I don't think it poses any real security issues you guys knowing, it's just something that can be a bit difficult in bringing up, as I knew there would be a few questions for me about my connection and how I'd answer it. I have told a few people about my connection with the Diamond Kingdom, our Captain knows Noelle-san."
Noelle slowly nods.
"Makes sense. And the Wizard King too?"
"Yes, he also knows about my connection with the Diamond Kingdom."
"And they want you back, do you know why?"
Venta furrowed his brows at Noelle's question.
"Honestly, I only have a few ideas why they'd want me back. Either for my power, or for leadership perhaps. The Diamond Kingdom's running's have been different since I left, so I honestly am not truly sure what their thinking is like."
Noelle and Mimosa both were perplexed by what he said.
They were even more intrigued.
"The Diamond Kingdom's changed since you've been there, Venta-kun?"
Mimosa asks with immense intrigue, to which Venta nods and tries his best to explain.
"The Diamond Kingdom...hmmm, we haven't seen it yet, but be aware that there could be some hidden tricks these people have, like for one being combining Grimoire's together."
"Combining...Grimoire's? What do you mean?"
Mimosa's doubt was answered by Venta.
"You know how everyone can usually wield one type of Magic, right? Like your Plant Magic, and Noelle-sans Water Magic?"
"Yes…that's right."
Noelle spoke, so Venta carried on.
"The Diamond Kingdom have a way to have someone gain another Magical Attribute."
"A-Another?"
Mimosa gasped, Venta explained the best he could.
"Yeah, what it boils down to is, lets say they are stitching together two Grimoire's, basically a patchwork Grimoire of sorts. So, say if we did that with yours Mimosa-san, and Noelle-sans, you'd be able to access Water Magic Artificially. Hybrids can naturally be born with the ability to use Two Magic Attributes, the Diamond Kingdom have found a way to do it Artificially. Though there is something that makes me feel anger."
Noelle and Mimosa were quite surprised to hear this.
Though it also made sense that Venta was acutely aware of what was going on in the Diamond Kingdom to the degree that he would have knowledge on their practices, and how he would feel about them as well.
Sharing a look, the girls wondered more about it, so Noelle pushed forward, and spoke with a neutral voice.
"What is it that you feel angry about?"
Noelle wondered, Venta lowers his brow.
"Making kids fight one another, kill each other, to produce strong Mage's. Human experimentation, it really is a vile act to do to anyone, and these kids have been through it. Embedding Mage Stones into people, while increasing their Mana and such yes, it can effectively be a means to brainwash them as well."
Mimosa cups her hands over her mouth.
"How awful...I've heard stories before, but to hear that...it makes me so sad for those poor children..."
"That's why, the Diamond Kingdom's practices aren't something that I can agree with, and something that having a connection like that makes me feel...complex about to put it mildly. In the past, there was someone that tried...to help the Diamond Kingdom, to give them means to live with the barren lands they live in. But, they've turned such things into something that is more perverse, something that I just can't agree with at all. Turning such good things, into bad things like this."
Noelle and Mimosa could hear the passion in his voice.
They could see in his eyes that he had a good number of emotions regarding the Diamond Kingdom, and it felt like there was more underneath the surface as well.
However, in the middle of their ride, suddenly from around them, something began shooting out from the walls. Growing across the walls, and the ceiling as well, as the floor, all of it looked sharp and deadly.
"Ice?!"
Noelle yelled, but Mimosa shook her head.
"No, this is crystal!"
Venta smirked.
"Right, so it is that Mage is it?"
Venta thrusted his hands out before him, and began causing the crystal formations to stop in their tracks.
All of the crystals that were rising from the ground and other areas that could have pierced them, simply stopped in the air.
Keeping calm, Venta clenched his hands together.
The girls watched his Gravity Magic crush the crystals, and stop them from getting even closer towards the girls forms, with Venta noticing how the crystals seemingly had been created in a way where he'd not be pierced at all for the time being.
The girls looked relieved at the sight of the crystals stopping and wondered what was going to happen next...
Having split off from the others, Yuno and Klaus were in hot pursuit of Galleo, he was able to be tricky enough to avoid the fights with them, but it didn't mean that Yuno wasn't going to do her best to catch up to Galleo, and what he could be doing.
After seeing the way that Asta had split off, and the same with Luck, fighting that Mage by themselves, Noelle and Mimosa also having to fight at the same time, they knew this was a fight that they'd have to go up against.
Though Yuno kept wondering what it was about the Diamond Kingdom that Venta was involved in with, she didn't have the time to think much beyond that, she thought that she would be able to end this situation pretty quickly if she could get one good solid hit out on said Spatial Mage.
"We have to go faster, we are dealing with that Spatial Mage, he could be tricky."
Klaus said with some doubt as to what they'd be doing next.
Yuno nods, and uses her winds to pick up the pace through the area.
Zipping around at the speed Yuno was capable of going, they kept going through the corridors, and through the area, until they arrive at a large door. The Spatial Mage didn't make any attempt to hide himself at all, and keeps his position in front of the door.
His eyes glued onto the pair before him, his eyes shifting towards Yuno at first.
"Tch, thinking you can fight against us all, do you?"
Yuno hops down from riding on the small whirlwind beneath her feet, and confronts the Spatial Mage Galleo.
Klaus does the same thing, the latter creating drills made out of his Steel Magic.
Yuno allows the wind around her to turn more and more devastating.
"That's right, we shall take you down."
Galleo gives a cold look.
"I think not, Wind Mage."
While saying that, Galleo creates several portals within the air, and makes them large.
Larger than a human, and growing larger than that, almost large enough for a house...no, even larger than that once it finished.
"Deal with these for a little while."
Coming shooting out of the portals, were what looked like large wolves made out of Mana.
"Why are there...so many?"
"Let us say that I have been preparing for this for a long time."
Galleo answered Yuno's doubts.
Their sharpened claws, turned right towards Yuno and Klaus, the former looking on with narrowed brows, while the latter turned his drills onto the creatures before him.
"I shall deal with this! Yuno, go towards the treasury, we cannot allow the Diamond Kingdom to get their hands on it!"
"I can't simply leave you-"
"This is a mission from our Captain! We have complete it and make sure that the Diamond Kingdom don't succeed!"
Klaus saw them coming in, so he sent off several drills that pierces some of them, and with the twisting nature of the drills, managed to puncture them a good deal, but one got through and came at Klaus with its claw swinging down for him.
Klaus grit his teeth, and summoned a Steel shield with his Magic, only to see the claw going through said shield, and breaking through towards his body, though he manages to dodge out of the way, and create another drill close up, stabbing into the creatures body, managing to repel it.
But more and more were coming in for him, and he could see the Spatial Mage being ready to make a move, however, Yuno was already on the case, and used her winds to surround her body, getting ready to make a move.
"I can't go Klaus-san, this is to much for you to deal with alone, I shall make sure this Spatial Mage is stopped."
Yuno propelled her movements through the area, and got before Galleo.
"You think you can stop me, do you?"
"That's right, you'll be taken down."
Activating some strong winds around her hand, she tried to shoot down Galleo who stepped through a portal, and appeared behind Yuno.
Yuno's eyes widened, and she turned just in time to see Galleo holding a knife, stabbing towards Yuno, who avoided it by inches, only to see that Galleo creating a portal before her, which she began sinking into.
As she did, Galleo created another portal for his knife to go through and stab into her body.
"No."
She aimed her hand towards his, and unleashed a devastating wave of wind, which knocked his arm and body back, while she also propelled herself away.
Going into the air, she looked down to see Galleo creating several portals around her body, as he twisted his hands, shooting off several Magic Bullets deep into the portals, coming at Yuno from all sides, going faster and faster for her body.
"Wind Magic, Towering Tornado!"
Around her body, she created four heavy twisting form of tornados, which managed to block the attacks from reaching her.
However, from within her winds, she saw opening before her was a portal, and coming out was a heavy duty bullet of Magic, sending Yuno flying down to the ground, smashing deep into the earth.
"Think you can keep up with me? I am an assassin from the Diamond Kingdom, I am going to execute you for your attempts to stand against the Diamond Kingdom and its people."
"I recall Venta-kun being able to defeat you in one blow. You weren't reported to have this level of skill and power."
Yuno found it odd.
She knew Venta was strong, but the way that she had heard about this Mage was that he was more skilled in spying and getting close to opponents. But the Magic Bullets that she received head on felt strong, stronger than she thought they'd be.
Galleo didn't even show any denial on his face.
"While it is true that I am stronger now than I was then, my feelings regarding Venta-sama, are something that wouldn't allow me to go and fight against him, it simply wouldn't happen at all, so I have to use my Magic here, and now, to defeat you."
Yuno pulled back, seeing some blood running down the side of her face.
She dismissed the concerns that she would have, and turned her winds onto Galleo.
Galleo however looked confident as he stared down the Mage's before his eyes.
As they fought, Asta and Luck kept running through the area together. With Luck showing his usual smile, and Asta gripping her Anti Magic Sword tightly, Nero flew above them and looked down at them with curious eyes.
"Is this the right way Luck?"
"I can sense fighting going on around here. And up ahead, is our bad Spatial Mage! Lets be sure to finish him off this time, kay? Lets make sure it happens."
Luck's enthusiasm was something that made Asta quite happy to see.
She also was determined, to help her friends, and to get to Yuno as well, seeing how well Yuno had done right now.
However, during their travels, came across a large beast guarding the corridor.
"Yippie! I didn't even sense this one! Haha! Lets go!"
Luck charged his Lightning Magic, and shot forward. But the beast sent out its claw, so Luck dodged, and jumped to the right hand side, getting his lightning ready and then blasting it forward, unleashing a good deal of electricity forward.
But the creature dodges, and swings for Luck, clawing its way through the wall as it came closer and closer towards Luck, Asta leapt forward, and swing her sword out, but the beast detracts its claws, then slams its head against Asta's own, the giant beasts head sends Asta eating the ground, with a small grimace.
"Ow...that hurt..."
Asta groaned, pulling herself up, and prepared her next strike.
Luck tilted his head.
"Hard head, Asta-san~"
Asta's unamused eyes go towards the laughing playfully Luck, then saw Luck land beside her.
"We need to finish this quickly, and get towards the others, okay?"
"Yeah, how?"
"I know how, I'll make it focus on me, then you Anti Magic your way through it. It is a beast made out of Mana, so your sword should cut it like butter, and negate it all, okay?"
Asta was impressed with how Luck was cooperating with her, but she took it as a good sign, and rushed forward with Luck.
Luck turned his lightning high, and zipped around in front of the beast. Going faster and faster, the beast tried to cleave his way through the area, but thanks to the incredible speed that Luck was going, the beast couldn't catch up.
Asta in the meantime moved towards the enemy, and brought her large sword up, slicing down the middle of the beast while it was distracted, slaying it on the spot, with Luck grinning as he landed on the ground close by.
"Amazing, your Anti Magic is so cool~"
Luck said with a smile, Asta smiled in response, and continued on together, with Nero following closely behind them.
Meanwhile, Mariella was stood within a room, full of cubes that floated around due to the dungeons unique set up. She was beginning to have some of the traps be laid around her, remembering when she had them set up beforehand.
She knew that sooner or later, Venta would come for her.
So she was to be ready for such an event to happen.
As she was, a Mage came up to her, with Mage Stones embedded in his forehead and chest.
His name is Mars.
Mars is a young man of average height with a slim figure, pale skin, and well-defined muscle tone. He has short, light purple hair with a spiky hairstyle and a lock falling down at the middle of his forehead. He has a pair of pink eyes, but lacks any eyebrows.
This young man's name is Mars, and on this mission, was currently the strongest.
His eyes looked towards her, and he gave a stoic look, while Mariella didn't say anything one way or the other.
However, that would change when the Mage would speak up.
"Are you set to fight him?"
Mariella exhaled.
"Has he been spotted?"
The Mage confirmed it with a nod of his head.
"Yes, he has been. He is here. In the location you previously were at."
Mariella wasn't totally surprised to hear such things.
In fact, she was half expecting that to be the case.
"Yes, I understand Mars, I shall be the one to confront him."
"Should you fail, then it is my job to confront Venta."
Mariella nodded without any emotions on her face.
"Yes, I know what you're saying and I understand completely. But you're implying that I am going to fail? I never fail a mission when I have the chance to do it. And even if it is Venta-sama...this mission is going to be the one that I intend to complete."
Mariella held a serious look to her face.
She wasn't going to be backing down this time, and whatever she intended to do, she was going to do her best.
She then turned to Mars and furrowed her brows.
"Also, refer to him as Venta-sama."
"I..."
Mars tilts his head while Mariella stares hard at Mars.
"He is Venta-sama, show proper respect. Especially since you're also from the Diamond Kingdom."
Mars watched on, seeing Mariella's serious face.
"Yes."
He replied stoically, as Mariella continued getting ready for her inevitable encounter with Venta.
Back with Yuno and Klaus, the latter was still battling off some of the creatures, while Yuno was taking on the Spatial Mage.
"Wind Creation Magic, Wind Blade Shower!"
With wind blades forming in the air, Yuno places her hand out, and shoots them all towards Galleo. With them all coming from around his body, Galleo activated his teleportation Magic, and had some slide through and smash against some of the others, with Yuno impressed by the speed that he was going in.
"That all you got?"
Galleo baits her, so Yuno shoots at high speed, getting in close, and gathers wind within her palm. Turning more and more, the winds become like a tornado within her hand, and was ready to pierce through the enemy before her.
"Wind Magic, Tornado Fang!"
Shooting it off, Yuno watches as a red creature was formed from Galleo's Magic, wielding a sword, and clashed together with Yuno's spell.
Yuno grits her teeth, and tried pushing harder and harder, but the red creature manages to keep stable enough for Galleo to gather Mana within his palm, and place it towards Yuno's face.
"Do not stand in my way for Venta-sama."
Yuno's eyes widen as he shoots Yuno fully in the face.
However, before full contact is made, Yuno shoots her winds before her, and like a jet, manages to avoid the attack. She watches it go under her as she flies up, smashing into the side of the dungeons walls, and made them shake.
"You definitely weren't described to be this powerful."
"I might not be Mars, but I am dangerous in another way. To bring Venta-sama back to the Diamond Kingdom, I shall rule this battle, and kill you first. Then your friends as well, they shall perish under my attacks."
Yuno wouldn't have it, and flew closer on her wind, managing to get up close, but before she could do anything, Galleo created a portal behind her, and blasted through his Magic Bullet, which nearly smashed into her, when Galleo saw something surprising.
Yuno managed to manipulate the winds in a way where the wind would twist the Magic Bullet around her and go right for Galleo, something that she had seen Venta do. Not to the same level as he was able to manipulate the gravity, still seeing that she did that was something that caused him great anger as the Magic Bullet pierced his body and sent him flying backwards.
As he did, Yuno got in close, and allowed Magic to spin around her hand.
"Wind Magic, Crescent Kamitachi!"
Unleashing a crescent wave of wind, it shoots right for Galleo who dodges with a portal, and them watches Yuno turn her head towards him, surprised that she knew his location and fired off another one towards him.
Once more, he slides into a portal, and appears below her, but like before, she already had caused another wind blade to appear, and shoot for him, Galleo moves into another portal, but this time a slice across his cheek happened, drawing a bit of blood out of his body.
Wincing, the man turned his eyes dangerously towards Yuno.
"That's what you want, is it? Fine, have this."
Galleo uses a spell that creates many portals around Yuno. And even more portals around the areas around Yuno so even if Yuno tried to escape, then it would be difficult to do so.
Yuno watched as Galleo gathered Mana within his palm.
"You were right about one thing, I have received an upgrade since the last time that I was seen in the Clover Kingdom from the Diamond Kingdom's ingenuity. For Venta-sama, I shall endure any trial, any enemy that crosses my path. Salvation shall be what is waiting for me."
Gathering a large amount of Mana within his hand, he fired it off, and slid it through a portal, and that came towards Yuno. The young Wind Mage went to take it out, when she saw coming from other portals, more and more bullets were heading for her.
Such a simple application of Mana, could have dire consequences against her if she wasn't careful.
So Yuno was forced to begin flying around, dodging out of the way the best that she could do, while also firing off a blast of wind right for Galleo to stop him.
Predictably he summons a portal, and sinks it in, and has it come out before Yuno herself, so she blasts her own wind attack away, in the process a Magic Bullet slams into her back, making her wince as she was shot towards the ground.
Landing on her hands and knees, she saw a portal below her releasing a Magic Bullet, so she pulls back, as the blast goes before her body, managing to avoid it by mere inches.
But then more portals appear, with more Magic Bullets coming through.
"Wind Creation Magic, Wind Blade Shower!"
Wanting to combat the immense amount of Magic Bullets, she creates her own blades of wind and controls them with slight hand movements, piercing the Magic Bullets, defending against the attacks again and again, while turning towards Galleo who creates a red soldier that shoots across the ground for Yuno.
Jumping up, the red solider wields his sword and slashes for Yuno, who manages to dodge, and slam her fist into the creatures upper body and announces "Wind Magic, Tornado Fang!" with a drill like tornado appearing, the creature was ripped apart, and continued on for Galleo.
The man himself summoned another red solider, which acted as a shield, and clashed with the winds, which dug into the ground more and more, tearing up a good degree, while Galleo creates another Magic Bullet, and fires it off with dense Mana infused into it.
Yuno slams her hands forward, controlling her winds, and used her Magic to create a tornado before her in a protective wall.
However, as the bullet neared the wall, a portal opened, and then sunk in the attack, appearing on the other side of the wall, smashing into Yuno's body, wounding the young girl who was propelled back from such an attack.
Flying back through the air, Yuno didn't allow the damage to fully take her, as she moved her hand behind her, and with her grimoire floating before her, she activated another spell.
"Wind Creation Magic, Swift White Hawk!"
Creating a hawk out of wind, Yuno lands on top of it, and directs it towards Galleo.
Doing that, flying at a high speed, Yuno was free to fight off the portals and their Magic Bullet release from Galleo, who despite the power increase, was shocked to see that Yuno was able to close the distance more and more with them.
When getting closed in, Galleo took several steps back, but Yuno placed her hand out before her.
"Wind Magic, Crescent Kamitachi!"
Firing off a crescent shaped wave of wind, Galleo raised his portal up, and took it inside of the portal.
But this time, rather than go towards Yuno, it had another destination.
And that was for Klaus who was busy fighting off the creatures around.
"Klaus-san, look out!"
Yuno called, Klaus's eyes widened, and he went to raise a shield, when one of the large creatures came at him, and forced him to defend against the claws with a giant steel wall, even then the claws managed to shred through some of the steel.
Klaus couldn't stop the wind, and Yuno tried to do it, only for Galleo to unleashed a strong blast of Mana for her, so she had to raise a tornado to protect against the attack, which thankfully it did, but stopped her from going to her allies side to defend against her own attack.
"Say goodbye to your friend."
Yuno grit her teeth, trying desperately to get in close…
"Yunooooooooooooooooooo!"
Yuno watched with surprise as Asta leapt out, and cleaved through Yuno's attack, splitting it down the middle so the other parts of the spell didn't go near Klaus, effectively protecting him, and as she did, Luck also appeared above the creature attacking Klaus, and does a number of strikes to its head, before smashing the body into the ground.
Yuno looked on with surprise as Asta lifts her sword onto her shoulder.
As that went on, with the crystals shattering, both Noelle and Mimosa looked relieved at the sight before them.
It was a relief to know that they'd be safe and sound from the attacks, but it also drew some concerns from them as well. How dense the Mana was within them, both Noelle and Mimosa were aware that they were in a bind.
As they were going to discuss, Venta had the creature take them all away down the long corridor.
Mimosa's eyes went towards Venta, seeing that he hadn't said anything yet.
"What is this about anyway? This feels...this feels weird, I can't sense anyone around here Venta-kun. So they couldn't have attacked us from a small distance, they wouldn't have been able to time the attack right if they weren't close enough."
Mimosa spoke, Venta nods.
"You're right, this was a pre laid trap, meant to finish us all off in a single move."
"Except for you."
Noelle observed, with Mimosa tilting her head.
"Now that you say it, the crystals did look as if they wouldn't be going for you at all Venta-kun."
Venta didn't deny it, and nodded a single time.
"Yes, it seems that they were intending to take you all down before me. Probably saving something else for me."
"So are they on your side, or what?"
Noelle wondered.
It seemed like it could be either, and she didn't know what to think about it.
Venta thought about the best way to respond.
"I'm not entirely sure what side they're on to be honest with you. I want to say that they're on my side, but with how corrupt it seems to be with endangering the lives of your sister Noelle-san and also some people here that I care for, I cannot fathom what is truly running through their minds right now."
"Besides wishing to stop us of course."
Noelle mused, Venta couldn't argue with that.
"Yeah, that I'm sure of at least. Even then, we have to keep going everyone. The others might need our assistance."
The girls nodded, and continued on.
While riding the beast they were on, the girls look at Venta, and see that he had a near expressionless face.
They wondered what he was feeling right now.
With the Diamond Kingdom fighting them, it must be a difficult time for Venta.
"Venta-kun...you know, the Diamond Mage's...do you feel...responsible for them?"
Mimosa wondered.
She didn't think he had to be, but she could see why he might feel like that.
Venta thought for a few moments, then shook his head.
"I wouldn't say it is that I feel responsible, as their decision was to use different tactics such as these. We can't control peoples actions as people can't control our own actions. It is free will that makes us able to make choices. Sometimes, people make choices that aren't the best, and that cause others pain and suffering."
Noelle could certainly relate to that.
Remembering her family briefly, and their choices, her own choices in life.
She then looked towards Mimosa who adopts a small smile.
"Venta-kun, I can't say what you must be feeling right now. But I always know who you are as a person, that you're a kind and generous man, someone that I am glad to have become friends with. To me, I think it's neat that you're from a different land, we have so much to discuss!"
Venta smiled and thought "More than you know Mimosa-san." and went to say something else, when Noelle leaned forward.
"Mimosa, you've always been able to speak so casually with other people."
"Hmm? I have?"
Mimosa mused, Noelle nodded.
But then she stopped when up ahead, they saw something up ahead.
It seemed like a humanoid figure.
However, something didn't feel right.
It felt like there was more going on.
So when they got close, they saw a man stood there...made out of crystal.
"Like the crystal that attacked us before..."
Mimosa murmured, Noelle nodded and readied her wand.
"Venta-kun, Mimosa, lets smash our way through!"
Noelle created a large water sphere at the tip of her wand, and fired off said sphere of water.
However, the creature of crystal held out his hand and stopped the attack all together, with the water spreading out around said creature, Noelle looked stunned that her attack didn't do any damage, while Venta silently thought about the next move they should make…
That's when he picked up a certain girls Mana.
It almost felt like she was calling out to him via her Mana, as before she was trying to hide herself.
This time however, it felt the opposite of that, and something wasn't right...
Back with Yuno and Asta, the girls look at one another for a few moments, while Galleo looks between them all.
Luck stands beside Klaus, who looks quite disheartened that he was saved by the Black Bulls, yet on the other hand recalled how Venta had done something amazing in of itself, with his Magic, so he was seeing the Black Bulls in different and new ways.
"Yuno!"
Yuno looked also disheartened by the fact that Asta had saved her again, like they were kids. She thought that she would have this in the bag, but the fact that she was being pushed back this much by Galleo was surprising.
Nero flew above, and looked on with interest.
It seemed that now with the four together, she could conserve the Magic that she had deep within her for the time being.
When Yuno didn't reply, Asta gained a tick mark by her head.
"Hey, why aren't you answering me?"
"It's nothing, I was merely thinking that I was about to defeat this enemy, that's all."
Asta huffs, and turns towards Galleo.
"Hey you! Stop attacking my friends right now!"
"Tch, it seems that Lotus has failed us. You brats still live."
Luck smiles on, then jabs his fingers forward.
"Let me attack him Asta-san, okay?"
"Luck, these beasts need dealing with too!"
"Aah, I get it, you wanna impress your future husband by taking out this enemy! That's okay, I want to see you succeed in love too~"
Asta was surprised by that.
But happy at the same time, and nodded.
"Yeah, team up with that guy there, and then we'll deal with the teleporting guy!"
"Yes!"
Klaus lifted his glasses while Luck goes to his side.
Still lamenting the fact that Luck and Asta came to their rescue, Klaus puts that aside for now, and goes to fight off the creatures himself with Luck fighting on.
Asta then turns her blade onto Galleo who grits his teeth.
He was handling Yuno, albeit with great difficulty.
Now, he was going to be fighting both of them, it didn't seem to be something that he wished to do.
"I wont lose to the both of you. I have an army at my disposal, and I shall not lose this chance for Venta-sama to return!"
"Venta-kun wont return to you because he is my future husband!"
Yuno sighs and thinks "She's missing the point a bit." while watching Galleo gain a tick mark by his forehead.
"You are not worthy enough of marrying Venta-sama! Y-You, you low class being!"
Asta snarls.
"Too bad, because I am going to!"
"Not if I have anything to say about it!" Galleo yells, and his grimoire flies through some pages. "Spatial Creation Magic, Crevice Men!"
From the area around, red soldiers wielding swords, and shields formed together before them. They came in waves, more and more were summoned, while Galleo stayed behind them all, his eyes burning with passion.
"Hey, that's cheating!"
Asta yells, Yuno releases a breath.
"Asta, if we work together this time, we can overcome this enemy quickly. We might have other enemies in this dungeon based on what I can sense. We also have to remember that Mimosa-san and Noelle Silva are lost within the dungeon."
Asta nodded.
She knew this wasn't the time to squabble about this, and had to act together.
"Yeah, yeah! I got it already! Don't worry about it! Now lets go!"
Asta, brandishing her sword high, lunges forward with high speed. One of the red men got before Asta, and slashes for her, so Asta does the same thing, and slices right through the sword, and dispells the enemy due to Anti Magic.
"Asta…"
"I got it!"
Another comes from the right, so Asta blocks with her sword, with the sword hitting the Anti Magic sword, Asta pushed back, and then stabbed the creature through the chest, dispelling it from existence.
But then another got behind her, and stabbed with swiftness, Asta tried to turn, but Yuno announced "Wind Creation Magic, Wind Blade Shower!" and from her winds, she shot off several blades of wind, which stabbed into the body of one of the red men, to the point that it fell down to the ground and vanished.
"Thanks Yuno!"
"Keep your head in the game, it is only going to get harder from here."
Just then, Asta felt wind below her body, propelling her up as another enemy came out from behind her, Asta then tightened her hands on her sword, she came down and sliced right through the creatures body.
Galleo pulls back with a dark expression on his face.
"They have good teamwork, it might be difficult dealing with that girls sword as well. No Magic can get through it..." Galleo looks at his hand and the dagger he has. "Unless this manages to cut her, then she'd be stopped for my men to kill her and the others."
With Asta on the ground, two more came at her, with one slashing from the right, and another trying to work his way around her to come at from behind to stab her, but Asta didn't allow it to happen, and pushed strength into her body, before doing a massive swing of her sword, dispelling the two by cleaving them in half.
As she did, Yuno saw one of the men coming for her, so she avoided one slash, and then placed her hand against his chest.
"Wind Magic, Tornado Fang!"
Releasing a piercing wind up close, the winds managed to rip right through the creature as Asta continues forward, slashing left and right, managing to dispel some of the creatures that were before her as Yuno used her Magic to support Asta.
"Asta."
"Yeah, get them together!"
"Right, be ready."
Yuno did just that, and creates a whirlwind around some of the creatures, strong enough so they couldn't get out. The wind also acted as a way to keep the sight of the men and Galleo out of sight of Asta so she could come from anywhere, and cut them down.
"Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"
Then Asta, with the spell of Yuno's still active, slashes forward, and cleaves through the men and the wind at the same time.
Galleo didn't seem to be concerned, and instead enacted his plan as Asta was dueling the enemies, and Yuno was doing the same thing, he created many portals around Asta, and sent his men into them, slashing and stabbing towards Asta.
The young girl blocks and evades at the same time, with Yuno using her wind to propel the enemies back, and when she could, stab into them with her wind blades, and then used her winds to move Asta towards desired locations to take down the men.
Galleo then secretly created a portal below her foot, and stabbed the knife into it to the point that the blade came out.
The tip of the knife stabs her foot, making her gasp.
"What was that..."
As she spoke, she suddenly began feeling different.
The knife began to take effect, and made Asta's body feel differently.
"How do you like my fast acting paralyzing knife? It works to stop an enemy, befitting of an assassin. Even your giant sword wont help you with this. Now, you're at my mercy."
Asta's stance became weakened, and she was sliced across her upper body, as Yuno uses her wind to pick Asta up, and move her away.
As she did, Galleo showed a calm and collected face.
He didn't smirk.
He didn't even smile in victory.
But what he did do was look on with strong conviction, and his task ahead of him was to do his best.
Back with Venta and the others, with Noelle still stunned by her Magic not seeming to have much effect.
"These are...so durable. It didn't even seem to move it..."
"It did crack the hand, see?"
Venta pointed out, with Noelle noticing the crack within the crystal soldier itself.
"Whoever created these...must be very strong."
Noelle mused.
Mimosa placed her hands together, and summoned her plants, forming what looked like a giant flower.
"This spell shall do it!"
Mimosa allowed a beam of energy to fire out, and clash with the crystal man before them. The crystal began to crack under the power of Mimosa, while Noelle looked on, seeing someone as gentle as Mimosa having such a strong move also inspired her to do the same thing and have a strong move for her to have all her own.
The beam continued on, crushing the crystal out of sight and mind.
But even then, with that one taken care of, she saw another emerging from the shadows. Down another corridor, she saw sparkles of the crystals reflecting the very small light that radiated down the corridor.
"How many are there?"
Mimosa wondered.
Venta glanced at Mimosa, and then Noelle.
He searched the others with Mana, and felt they were safe.
Though he did feel some Mana creatures nearby, and did worry for them in case they were in danger.
"Mimosa-san, Noelle-san. You two go on ahead."
Both girls were surprised that he said that.
"Leave you here? On your own?"
Noelle wasn't sure if it would be best.
Even though she genuinely believed that out of the Mage's there, Venta was probably the strongest on the Clover Kingdom's side, she couldn't say for the Diamond Kingdom since she hadn't met them yet, she still didn't want to leave Venta to do this alone.
Mimosa was on the same boat.
She didn't want to leave Venta either.
However, Venta leapt down and landed with keen eyes for the crystal soldiers.
"Don't worry about me, I can deal with this. The others might need your support Mimosa-san, Noelle-san. Besides, I've got a date with an Ice Mage and I wouldn't want to keep her waiting. So go on, I'll be fine."
Mimosa and Noelle weren't sure.
But they both nodded, and took off after they searched for the location of the others.
Once they had gone, Venta was left around, and glanced around.
"I know you can hear me, so I'll say this once. These wont get in my way, and I'll be seeing you very soon."
As he said it, Venta cupped his hands together.
Manipulating gravity, more and more, he condensed it together, and from his hand, a small sphere was forming. The compression of gravity was so great that even the area around Venta was binding to bent and break as the spells range increased.
Even the crystals before him were beginning to be moving towards it.
"Gravity Magic, Gravity Bomb."
Releasing it from his hands, the sphere pulled the enemies to it.
Moving through the air as Venta twirled his fingers, the sphere moved around the area, dragging the creatures of crystal towards it.
The ones that tried fighting back had their bodies brought close to it as a result.
Then when the crystal creatures came together, Venta snaps his fingers, and from that, like a bomb, the immense gravity was released.
From that, Venta created a devastating shockwave of gravity that shook the area Venta was in, shattering the crystal creatures out of existence, leaving nothing of them left, besides a few stray crystals that harmlessly fell down to the ground.
Venta breathed out his nose at the sight before him, then he stretched his arms above his head.
"Mariella-chan, here I come."
Then he hurried off towards the place he sensed Mariella.
Asta and Yuno stood off against the enemy before them. With Asta feeling the effects of the knife on her body, she felt the urge to simply drop her sword, and be done with it. But she couldn't do that, she still needed to go on.
Yuno on the other hand could see the smugness that was within Galleo's eyes.
His expression was as cold as one would expect an assassin to be.
But his eyes told her everything that she needed to know about Galleo and the kind of person he was, looking down on the pair of them, even if he got off this shot, he still had a long way to go before beating them.
"Using such a knife..."
Yuno began with her voice remaining stoic, but she did have some anger within her.
"Give yourselves up, the Diamond Kingdom shall be the victor in this battle, and you all shall fall before our might. Though it seems that the no Mana girl there is still standing, is this knife not reacting the same way as it usually would? Or did she avoid the lethal amount that I wanted her to have? Either way, with the very limited movement that she had, it is clear to me that you aren't going to win this fight."
Asta does her best to hold her sword, but her hands felt weakened to the point her grip was loosening.
Yuno also knew that with Asta as she was, it would be difficult to win this fight.
Asta didn't want to give up.
Even if she felt weak right now, she couldn't give up, she had to do something against the enemy.
"Yuno…."
"Asta, leave this to me. I shall..."
"No...I can't give up here...even if...this knife does this to me...I wont stop...until I've taken this guy down...we shall win this fight..."
Yuno always admired her determination.
But she didn't know what else to do.
However, Asta, with the bit of strength she had, held her blade out before her.
"Yuno...shoot me...forward...shoot me at him…,my sword...will stab through...his Crevice Men...and we shall...win..."
Yuno didn't know if this idea would work.
But it was better than nothing.
So she activated a spell to create a hawk below her, lifting Asta up, who stayed standing.
"Go."
Yuno commanded, so the hawk took off flying, and so did Asta.
The Crevice Men come at Asta, but Yuno moves the hawk in a way that the tip of Asta's sword would go through the enemies, and then she'd have the hawk twirl around, with Asta still holding the blade tightly, cutting and cleaving through Galleo's Crevice Men.
Galleo was taken by surprise, and watched Asta and Yuno devastate his Crevice Men.
He also felt himself running out of Mana.
The more he created, the more Mana he was burning through.
Even with the powers he had received, it was a difficult situation to be in.
"No!"
Creating a portal and a bullet of Mana at the same time, he shoots it off, and sinks it through the portal, appearing above Asta to smash her down into the ground since she can't move.
Yuno saw it coming and had the hawk avoid the attack, with Galleo scowling as a result.
"Do not think you can get one up on me."
Galleo creates more portals, and fires off Magic Bullets for Asta, while the Crevice Men try and launch assaults from different directions.
Still, the hawk Asta flew on was able to move her around, slash and cut through the enemies, while also dodging out of the way of the portals that were being formed thanks to Galleo.
A team effort that even Galleo was having some difficulty in keeping up with.
No, not just some, he was having great difficulty in dealing with the enemies before him.
Breaking through enemy forces, Galleo was stunned.
Shocked that these two Mages from a village that didn't seem to be important was gaining ground on him.
Pushing and weakening his forces, and even avoiding his attacks, it felt unconceivable to him and he ended up trying harder, which also was burning through his Mana quickly, even with the power up he received, he felt like he wouldn't be able to keep up forever with this.
"This...is it…!"
When Asta slashes the last one down, Yuno fires Asta off right for Galleo, who panics, trying to make portals for the enemy to be attacked from. But Yuno's mastery of using her winds was enough to keep the hawk going and appear before Galleo.
"No!"
Galleo slides through a portal, with Yuno noticing his location.
Asta glances at Yuno.
"Yuno...fire an attack...at me...and I'll...bounce it back...to him…!"
Yuno was surprised.
But nodded, and followed Asta's words, creating wind within her palms.
"Wind Magic, Tornado Fang!"
Asta watches as the winds shoot at her with high speed, then Yuno causes the bird to fly in a way where Asta would swing the blade in Galleo's direction, which she managed to do, and bounce the attack of Yuno's, right for Galleo at devastating speeds.
"No, it can't be…!"
Galleo tried to evade, but with the Mana drainage he had, and the speed of the attack, he wasn't able to do it, with the wind tornado piercing his upper body and blasted him away, creating a devastating shockwave which ruptured the ground as well as Galleo who went flying backwards.
His body smashed into the wall, his eyes whiting over, and falling unconscious from the attack.
"He's finished."
"Y...Yeah, future husband...we did it...!"
Yuno and Asta looked relieved, but they still had one thing left to do, and that was deal with the beasts before them that Galleo had summoned.
Venta meanwhile continued on his own once splitting off from Mimosa and Noelle.
He quickly flew through the area, he felt the others and their Mana still being fine, so he was glad to know that. He also wondered when he was going to be attacked next.
Going down the corridor, he could see that there were several traps laid out.
They were in place for those that wouldn't be capable of flight wouldn't get through without having problems. It only told him that this was right for him, and that the person on the other side of the hallway didn't want anyone but him going.
"So, she made it so only I would be able to come down here. She's very good, still...I wonder what else is going on Mariella-chan..."
As he thought about it, he looked at the area around him, and made sure to not disturb any of the traps, and see if he could sneak up on Mariella, as he sensed her presence up ahead, he was glad to finally be able to meet up with her.
As he moved forward, he could feel the Mana before him.
How calm it was despite the fact that he was going to be there soon.
When he finally crossed the giant hallway, he came into the same room Mariella was in beforehand.
He looked around for a few moments, seeing that several traps had been laid out.
Then he looked directly ahead, and saw the girl that he had been wanting to speak with for a good long while now.
Mariella.
He went to make a move, when he saw a very thin layer of ice had been laid before his eyes. It was so thin, and transparent that even Venta had to take a few moments to notice that it was there.
When he moved around it, Mariella's eyes turned around to meet with his own.
"So, I got your calling card, Mariella-chan."
Mariella didn't say anything for a good few seconds.
She looked over Venta's form.
She looked from the top of his head to the tip of his toes.
Drinking in everything she could do.
"So you did."
Venta pulled forward.
But then saw Mariella pulling backwards, something that perplexed him.
"So, now that I'm here-"
Before he could finish, Mariella did instead.
"The Diamond Kingdom wishes for you to return. I also wish for you to return. If you do not return quietly, then I shall fight you."
"Even though we've been through a lot, you'd still fight me?"
"For the betterment of my Kingdom, then yes, Venta-sama. Come quietly, or I will be forced to fight you."
Mariella placed her hands together.
Her eyes became more and more sharper as the moments passed them by.
She then began producing ice around her form, and she turned her hand out towards Venta himself. The ice from her Magic froze the area below her feet, and travelled towards Venta himself, with the young man watching the ice trying to wrap around him.
Flexing his hands, Venta unleashes his Gravity Magic, and causes it to break through said ice, and causes it to scatter all around into very small particles of ice, with Mariella pulling back as she watched on keenly.
"I don't want to fight you, Mariella-chan."
Venta spoke Mariella with a sad touch to his tone.
Mariella inhaled slowly, then nods a single time.
"If you aren't willing to come back with me, then I've been ordered to restrain and drag you to the Diamond Kingdom by any means necessary. So prepare to face off against me, I cannot stop until you're back in the Diamond Kingdom."
Venta watched as Mariella got serious.
Causing her ice to spread around her, Venta knew this wasn't a situation she wished to be in.
Venta exhaled, and began flaring his own Mana around.
Pulses of gravity erupted from his form, as Mariella watched on with keen interest.
"Then I shall move first!"
She then launched ice forward, which Venta shattered with his gravity, only for her to appear behind him, and swung her fist for him with Magic to freeze Venta solid and end the battle.
Unfortunately, it didn't go the way she had planned for.
He grabbed her fist without looking, and threw her a good distance away to the point that she skidded across the ground, only to feel the ground shattering beneath her feet, seeing Venta's hand on the ground, releasing a pulse of gravity, which forced her down onto the ground.
She groaned, as she stared at him.
"I thought you didn't want to fight me?"
Mariella spoke as she furrowed her brows.
"I never said I wouldn't fight you, Mariella-chan." He replied to her, surprising her as he tightened his fist. "I know this isn't what you want to do, but you're doing it for some reason. Whatever it is, I'll free you of such burdens. So, prepare yourself. It's time for us to fight."
As he said it, Mariella felt the entire room beginning to shake heavily from the release of Venta's Magic.
Mariella could feel his Mana tingling on her skin.
She felt her heart racing.
The battle that neither wished for.
But a battle that needed to happen, was now about to start…

So this chapter focused on the defeat of Galleo with Yuno pressing him a good deal, and then Asta came. Even though he managed to paralyze Asta for a brief time, working together with Yuno, they managed to overcome it together, and finish off Galleo, all the while Klaus, and later Luck, was fighting off the beasts created from Mana.
Mimosa, Noelle and Venta continued on together, and got through the traps that Mars had set up, and now Venta has finally met up with Mariella! Though neither wish for it, Mariella is gonna fight, and Venta's prepared to defend and stop her attack! So, we'll see what comes of their fight next time!
