Luna Rock n' Not.
Chapter 18.
(The Loud House.)
A glorious and calming day, and everyone had finished enjoying their breakfast and Lincoln is the last to finish because he woke up late, and he didn't mind because it's Saturday. Lincoln finishes his pancakes and he goes to the kitchen and he sees Michelle is still washing dishes.
Michelle looks towards Lincoln and she smiles. "Hey, Linc. Done with breakfast?"
Lincoln nods, and he goes over and he hands her the plate, and she begins to wash it. "Yeah. They tasted real delicious. I didn't know you were such an amazing chef when it came to waffles, and adding bacon and blueberries in them was awesome."
Michelle smiles and she nods. "Thank you, Lincoln. Truth be told, those skills of cooking and baking have been with me since my parents. I am dang honored and happy to have been able to make this meal for you kids, also where the heck is Luna?"
Lincoln then explains and then he helps Michele clean the plates. "Luna said she's gonna take a look at the lyrics to the song we've made. We're also thinking of having Sam and the band members come along as well, and later she's gonna be talking to Sam and the others about this offer to join us."
Michelle is happy to hear this. "Well, next week is when the show begins, so I am looking forward to the performance you and your sister are going to show. But know this..." She stops and she places her hands onto the shoulders of Lincoln.
"I am gonna be the judge there, and I cannot favor you and Luna. I judge those who are amazing with talent and those who might not make the cut. So, I cannot be so sure about whether you guys will win or not, are we clear?"
Lincoln nods. "I know, and Luna also understands." Lincoln then hugs her, and this surprises Michelle, but she returns the hug. Lincoln then whispers. "The way you talk is like something I have been hearing, from Luna. You sound like a mom, and is it alright if I call you mom?"
Michelle is surprised to hear this, and she rubs the hair of Lincoln and she smiles. "Well, alright then. Temporarily, you can call me mom and the same goes for the others if they feel like it." Michelle then places a small and loving kiss onto the forehead of the boy, and they continue this nice and moment.
They don't know that the others notice this. Lori, Leni, Luan, Lynn, Lucy, Lola, Lana, Lisa and Lily. They can see that this woman, they're caretaker is like someone that their brother sees as their mom, and then they recall what went down days after their parents got arrested.
Michelle helped Lincoln with some of his homework while Luna was busy, and Michelle helped with some of the chores and she sorted out who does what for chores with their potential and skills. Michelle has been making sure all of them got to bed on time and helping tend to Lily. Deep down, they can all feel that Michelle is like a mother to them.
(Later in the Day.)
Luna is back from spending time with Sam Sharp at her place, and she is inside of her bedroom and checking on something and she sees the name of the song she came up with alongside Lincoln. "Life is better Loud, wouldn't be the true judge about that, but the song does make sense as to why Linc chose this name, I like it."
Luna then hears something going on at the backyard, and she sees her brother being called by the others to the spot, and so she goes there to see what is going on.
Luna arrives to the backyard and she confronts the others about whatever is going on here. "Alright, what the heck is happening here? Why did you guys want Lincoln here?"
Luna sees: Leni, Luan, Lynn, Lucy, Lana, Lola, Lisa and Lily. Leni is the one who speaks, "Luna, calm down. We also wanted you to come out here as well. We wanna talk to you guys about something."
Lincoln and Luna have no idea what this is all about, and so they sit in front of them cross-legged and then Luna asks. "What the heck is going on?"
Lincoln also asks. "Why are some of you not looking too happy? What the heck happened girls?"
Lisa is the first one who speaks. "Luna, Lincoln. The rest of us were given the recording of what Lincoln and the rest of you had explained to the Casagrandes days ago, and we all feel bad about the times we thought you and Ronnie Anne were meant to be."
"We clearly didn't see the results of what had happened if it did continue down the road of a forced relationship, and I question why I did not see this outcome sooner." Lisa then wipes away some tears, and so Lucy rubs her back and then she speaks.
"We don't wanna watch you become miserable and Lisa says is true. We'd be too stupid, occupied and acting dumb and happy for the moment than rather be concerned about your emotions and well-being. We didn't mean for anything to go wrong, and we're sorry for forcing you to be with Ronnie Anne."
Lana is the next one to talk. "We should've known our own mistakes and actions, but we were blinded and occupied by our dang hobbies and talents."
Lola also agrees. "We don't wanna watch you get turned into a sad person, Linky. We know we kinda push you around, but we wouldn't wanna watch you get into self-harm, it's so wrong!"
"I don't have a joke for any of this" replied Luan as she wipes away her tears. "Heck, I don't know what the heck I would do if something did happen to you, bro. We're sorry and we were too blinded and too stupid with watching romance stuff on TV. Mostly romantic comedy for me."
Lynn looks away, she crosses her arms and yet she speaks her word. "Even I have to admit, I wasn't the best kinda girl to guide you through everything, but to be also taking part with the forced relationship alongside the others, doesn't make me a G.O.A.T, but makes me a... A loser, and an idiot. Sorry, Linc."
"Also, I won't get too angry at Ronnie Anne. After what we heard from the recording, I was inches from marching over there to her place and beating the living snot out of her for bullying you." Leni then places a hand on Lynn's shoulder to calm her down.
Leni then looks towards Luna and Lincoln. "We never knew what we were thinking, the whole hive mind theory is an all true thing. We all fell in line through Lori and her love with Bobby, we all became part of what she thought was real and we're sorry... I don't want to watch you become miserable and then kill yourself, Linky... I don't..."
Leni then begins to shed some tears, and this causes Lincoln to go over, and he hugs Leni. He rubs her back and didn't like seeing her sad and cry, heck Lincoln didn't like seeing any of his sister sad and cry. It made him concerned and also angry.
They all look concerned and then Lucy speaks. "Sigh, we were obviously also reeled into the whole ordeal of bad guidance from our parents again. After all, they guided us all to our talents which then started the hive mind and then made everything fall into place and gang up against Lincoln, and also Luna. We're all misguided and need better guidance."
Luna understands them. "Let's just hope those two are getting their dumb heads fixed at the Royal Woods Penitentiary, otherwise they might not ever come out and then return to being our parents. Dang, I hate those two right now."
"No kidding" replied Lynn, she feels ticked off still that she was misguided to the belief of the softball gods, and made into a luck obsessed psycho sports player. At least now she's taking up the role of wearing clean clothes and not making the shared room with Lucy smell horrid.
Lisa then speaks once more. "If what I do think is correct, then chances there is another unholy world where counterparts of us are going through this madness and caused chaos in the relationship of their own brother."
Luan scoffs and she is annoyed thinking about this. "A dang shame we can't go there and give them a wakeup call to some reality. I don't even know what I would do if I met my other version who was a total maniac and joker induced megalomaniac."
Lincoln then departs from the hug with Leni and he looks to the rest of his upset sisters. "Girls, calm down. Look, I would be super miffed about if it did all happened, but it never did and now you girls know about what could've gone down. I am happy for that, and we know what to avoid one day."
"I have someone I love, and she's the girl for me ever since we first met. So, at least now whatever could've happened will not happen and we can all be grateful for whatever else of a good future we have soon. Thanks for understanding, and I forgive you girls."
All of them smile hearing this and they all go over and embrace their one and only brother and then Luna joins in and hugs them all.
But while this is all going on, Lori sees this from the bedroom of Lucy and Lynn and she seems saddened. 'It's now or never, Lori. You have to talk to them and make up for what I have done, but mostly towards Jordan. She doesn't deserve to be hated by me, when she did nothing wrong to anyone.'
(Moments Later.)
After what had gone down, the kids all return to their normal things, though some of them have to think about their actions and sort out how they change for the better. But, Lola is headed to one of her pageants and Michelle is escorting her while also bringing Lily along.
In the living room, Lincoln and Jordan are both watching some TV and eating some popcorn and then Jordan asks. "So, where the heck is Luna?"
Lincoln then drinks his soda. "She said she's gonna be escorting Lana and Lisa to the Park, something about Lake Sturgeon fish. I think they're headed for Tall Timbers Park."
Jordan smiles. "Luna's a really awesome big sister. She knows what to do, she's super responsible and she's the closest sister you got with a super strong bond. You two are an amazing team together."
Lincoln chuckles. "Thanks, we are always at good terms and... You know, I don't think I ever recalled the time we had some bad blood on each other, though perhaps I was a little troublesome when I was a little kid, and that was after I met Clyde and wanted to do stuff Ace Savvy related."
Jordan giggles. "You are not the only kid around town who does something like that..." She then sees someone come out of the dining room. "Hi Lori, what's going on?"
Lori sighs and she looks down nervously, and this gets Lincoln's attention. "Lori, is there something wrong?"
Lori sighs and she asks. "Lincoln, Jordan. Come and meet me in my bedroom, please." Lincoln and Jordan are confused, and they don't know what the heck this is about, so the duo turn off the TV, they leave the living room and follow Lori upstairs.
While they are gone, Charles, Cliff, Geo and Walt's go onto the couch, they turn on the TV and eat the remaining popcorn, they don't notice Lana looking at them, and then she joins them in watching TV and enjoying the rest of this afternoon.
(Lori and Leni's Bedroom.)
Lincoln and Jordan both go into the bedroom and they don't see Leni around, and then Lori sits on the bed and she sees the confused looks from them. "Leni isn't here, she left earlier to go and meet with her friends in the Mall, chances it's not about shopping."
Lincoln and Jordan nod, and the duo go over and sit on the bed next to Lori and then Lincoln asks. "Lori, why did you call us to come here?"
Lori didn't know how to say it, and so she lets her thoughts out. "Lincoln I just, I wanna say how sorry I am. How deeply and truly sorry I am for what I did to you, and how I kept forcing you to date Ronnie Anne, I was a fool and an idiot to have fallen for my romantic endeavors with Bobby."
Lincoln and Jordan did not see this coming, then Lori continues and she looks towards Jordan. "Jordan, I didn't know what I was thinking and I shouldn't have been kinda mean to you when we first met. I didn't know what was going on with me or why I would... This is all my love for Bobby doing the whole thing."
Jordan nods. "It kinda is." She then speaks. "Look, Lori when I was told about you and what you did, I didn't wanna deal with you. But knowing that you kept on pushing Lincoln into loving someone that he literally doesn't love, that was the time when I wanted to talk to you and stomp on your foot."
Lori is confused. "Don't you mean, put your foot down?"
Jordan crosses her arms. "No, not that kinda thing Lori Marie Loud."
Lori cringes to the thought of this tough girl stomping on her foot, it might hurt more than hitting the leg of the coffee table. Jordan then speaks. "Lori, you are the eldest, and you have been pulling that stupid eldest child card game for some time, and you think you have all the power against your own siblings, when you clearly do not."
"You don't act responsible and you would just ignore the others and not help them with what they need or want, and not even be concerned about whatever the heck they are doing, and this begs to question what the heck is wrong with you. Could it be the cellphone? Or does it involve Boo-Boo Bear?"
Lincoln also notices this and he asks. "Lori, Jordan has a point and I need to know... Why did you lose your responsible ways when you started Middle School?"
Lori tries to figure this out, and then she realizes what the cause is. "The first cellphone I got from Middle School, well the brand-new one I have ever gotten since I got my first one from the 3th grade. That was the first reason why I changed, and then came High School..."
"The time when I met Bobby, and though he was the kinda guy who wanted to know me but I didn't wanna get to know him and then he was persistent and then he gave me cookies in my locker and everything turned to where it was for the both of us. I guess, High School and Middle School drove me away from my older sibling duties."
Jordan nods and she seems disappointed. "And that's where the cookie crumbles hard. Lori, all it took was one long talk and a whole new look of an explanation to get you to wake up and be responsible, Lori you are 17 years old and have you looked back at the past times when you could've been around and acted as a responsible sister? Such as Luna?"
"You are gonna be out of High School soon, and less than 17 years of your own shenanigans with a cellphone and a boyfriend is what shoved you away from spending some dang good time with your siblings and perhaps helped keep things in line and no chances of chaos. That is too late, and there is no way to reclaim those moments."
Lori is surprised and she sheds some tears and she realizes that Jordan is right, she never was the responsible one, but Luna was and all because she wasn't interested in what're parents forced them into, and then Lincoln realizes. "But her cellphone ordeal ignited when mom and dad gave her that thing long ago, which caused the life we have now, and the less time we have to spend with you."
Lori is surprised to hear this and she looks towards her brother and the way he looks is concerned and upset, and then Lori pulls Lincoln close to her and she hugs him and sheds some tears. "Lincoln, I am sorry for what I did. I'm sorry for not being there to help you and for forcing you into something you didn't want to. I should've been a good big sister, but I wasn't."
"Y-You were right, L-Lincoln... I am the worst sister ever!" Lori begins to sob and she continues to hug her brother, but this is something that Lincoln again doesn't like and he hugs her back.
"Lori, I cannot be angry at you and I am glad that you are seeing the error of your ways and seeing how much time we all lost. I don't wanna be angry at you forever, because we are family. I know you'll figure something out to make it up to me, and I wanna continue having an awesome new change of life, with you and the others. I love you Lori, never forget that sis."
Lori then departs from the hug and she wipes away her tears and she looks to her brother. "Lincoln, I promise that I will do my part and help out, I won't let my phone be my top priority and make sure that you and the others are placed as top concern before the phone and the calls and everything else. I promise."
Lincoln smiles and he hugs Lori, and then he does something he hasn't done in a long time and he kisses her cheek. "Thanks Lori, I know you can make things right."
Lori is happy to hear this, and then the duo depart from the hug and Lori looks towards Jordan and so Lori scooches closer to her. "Jordan, I am sorry for trying to separate you from Linky. I don't want to watch him get torn apart inside and out from a forced relationship."
"I wanna make sure he has an amazing life, and if he wants to spend the rest of his life with you, then I am alright with it. You didn't deserve any of the anger I was cursing onto you, you never did anything wrong to me and I was the real fool of an idiot in this. Jordan, I am sorry."
Jordan nods and she sighs. "Lori, I can forgive you, but trust is another thing and I don't know when that'll come to bear. But, just promise not to meddle with the stuff Linc and I do, we love each other very much, and I am not gonna let Lincoln take the hits for me all the time. I wanna be with him and see the amazing and adventurous life and future we're gonna have, and with his sisters along for the ride."
Lori smiles hearing this. "I see why Lincoln likes you, Jordan Rosato. You are a smart, talented, skilled, determined, and tough gal, and I am glad Lincoln found someone who would love him back and be by his side. Linc's been around us for so long, and a girlfriend is something that'll make him happy, for a better and brighter future."
Lori and Jordan then hug it out and then Lori whispers. "You and Lincoln have an amazing and adorable, cute and beautiful relationship and I am literally all in with the Jordancoln ship you guys have."
Jordan giggles at the nickname Lori has for them, and Lincoln sighs in relief and he is glad that Lori has made amends with his girlfriend, then Lincoln hears someone's phone vibrate and then he sees Lori's phone on the table and so he takes it. "Lori, text message. You should check on it."
Lori and Jordan depart from the hug and Lori sees who texted her. "What the heck? Bobby?" Lincoln and Jordan check this message and it is from the boyfriend of Lori Loud.
Boo-Boo Bear: Lori, tomorrow bring the others with you, well Jordan, Lincoln, Luna and everyone else from what went down days ago. My abuela wants to talk to you guys.
Lori thinks about this. "We'll need to wait for Luna and Michelle to come back, and then we can sort out on whatever it is that crazy old lady wants this time." Lori scoffs. "That old lady is crazy and dumb."
Lincoln sighs. "Still, we need to know what the heck does she want, chances she wants to make things right. After what had happened days ago, she might have thought about what she has done,"
Jordan thinks about this. "She'd better, because if she rants about me being a witch again..." She then has an idea. "I'm bringing my dad with me, to see what he thinks."
Lincoln and Lori nod. "Good idea, Jordan." They all chuckle and are looking forward to what they have to deal with tomorrow.
Then Luna comes inside of the bedroom and she sees them. "Hey, what did I miss?"
A/N: Michelle seen as a mother figure, the sisters now understanding the errors of what could've gone wrong, and now Lori, making amends with Lincoln and Jordan. Come next, we return to Great Lakes City and handle whatever the heck Rosa wants to talk about. Leave a review, and tell me what you all think, everyone.
Also, the vote seems to be made, so the song they will perform is gonna be "Life is better Loud."
