Danny and Booette arrive back in the lab, both of them having different feelings on what happened earlier. Booette was giggling with glee as she couldn't believe how amazing he taste. She kissed a lot of guys, but never a human. His lips were so nice and warm. Danny, on the other hand, was still shocked that he got his first kiss from a ghost. And what was strange most of all was, he liked it. Maybe his parents were wrong about ghosts?
"Um, Booette?" Danny spoke up.
"Yes?" Booette said, sweetly.
"Where are we going to put your friends? I mean, we can't them out where they just cause trouble again." He asked.
Booette knew he had a point. She could feel that Chauncey was far more powerful than normal. If they let him get out again, they might have to recatch him all over again.
"Wait, I remember seeing something in the back." She said before leading Danny towards the back.
Danny blinks when he saw a huge machine. He had no idea what it was. It didn't look like anything his parents would make.
"I found some blueprints to this and learn it could turn ghosts into portraits. It might be the best place for them until we can turn them back to normal." Booette said.
Danny wasn't sure about that, but they didn't have any other options.
"Okay, how does it work?" Danny asked.
"From what I read, you have to put the hose in that vent, and it should do the rest," Booette said.
Danny nodded and did so. He felt the vacuum suck the ghosts out and into the machine. He and Booette watched as the ghosts appears in a machine and looks to be getting wash. They then spot the ghost coming out of a tube and onto a portrait. They watched as the ghost was slammed on the frame before flinching at the electricity that shocked them. Finally, the ghost enter another machine that made a banging noise and blew out some steam. The portraits came out, showing each of Booette's friends, looking no worst for the wear. However, but of them could see a black mist behind them.
"Well, that three of my friends," Booette said, sighing.
"And I got feeling we have a lot more to go." Danny sighs.
Both of them left the room before Booette suddenly press herself on Danny's back. Danny blushes from the feeling of Booette's breasts on his back and was trying to keep himself calm. Booette smirks, finding it cute he was reacting to her moves.
"So, what did you think of your little reward?" She said, laying her head on his shoulder.
"It...was...something," Danny said, trying to keep his thoughts clear.
Booette knew he was still in shock and was really shy. She was once told she could drag any guy she wanted into bed with her with ease, but she wanted to take her time with him. He was very interesting for a human.
"Do you want another kiss?" She teased.
"I...um..." Danny said, unsure.
Booette could feel he was trying to stay in control of himself. She decides to take pity on him and removes herself from him. Danny could feel himself relax easier and notices Booette shake her butt at him, causing him to blush again.
'Hehehe! So cute and so shy! Maybe if I play my cards right, I might have someone that will love me for the rest of my afterlife. As long my friends don't scare him off again.' She thought.
Danny sat down in a chair and watch as Booette floating around the room, trying to think of their next plan.
'I never thought I meet a girl that flirts so much. If Dash was here, he'll flip about this. Still, Booette is pretty. I wonder if she's doing this because she's lonely?' He thought.
He watches Booette float in the air, looking at her long beautiful white hair. Booette spotted him looking at her and smirks. She grabs a bit of her dress and pulls it up to show her leg, which was covered in a long white socking and a white short heel shoe on her foot. Danny blush as she giggles.
'Well, she's a flirt, alright.' Danny added.
Meanwhile...
Tucker and Sam sat on the ground, eating their candy to hold them over until Danny came back. Sam kept looking up to see if Danny would come back after realizing how stupid this dare was.
"Sam, will you please stop looking at the path every five minutes?" Tucker asked.
"Tucker, aren't you worried?" Sam asked.
"Yes, but I'm not about to rush into a forest that has you know what in it!" Tucker said.
Sam was still unsure about it. Not to mention, she was getting this weird feeling Danny wasn't alone. As if someone was making a move on him or something.
"Sam? You okay?" Tucker asked.
"Huh?! What? Oh, yeah. I'm fine." Sam said, shaking her head.
Tucker sighs. He knew why Sam was worried about Danny. And Tucker was getting tired of it. As much as he wanted Sam and Danny to admit their feelings, he did hope that Danny would find a girl that was right for him even if Sam doesn't come forward. As long Sam doesn't try to hurt her.
Elsewhere...
A dark grin appears on his face as he felt three of his powers fade. He knew the Princess was saving them, but he could sense something else. Something...human.
'So princess, you turn to a human for help? That's just like you. Maybe I should meet him." It said, laughing.
And Rest Area chapters are going to be short. Booette really likes Danny and has lots of fun teasing him. Danny is showing some interest in her, but it will be a bit longer before he fully returns them. Sam has a feeling that Danny is not alone, but she really has no idea who he's with. And I brought in the Main Villain for this chapter. I will cover more on who he is in Area 2.
