Danny sighs as he puts on the poltergust and looks at Booette.
"Ready?" He asked.
"Yeah." Booette smirks.
She grabs Danny's hand and phases them out of the lab. They soon appear in the Foyer, and Danny pulls out the key. They watch as the vines disappear, and Danny goes to use the key.
"Danny, wait," Booette said, stopping him.
He turns to Booette, who sighs.
"I want to thank you for your help. I know it's early to say that, but I'm amazed by your willingness to help. Maybe after this is all over, you can come to visit every once in a while?" She asked, shyly.
Danny looks at her and started to think to himself. She was asking him to visit after all this was over. It's like she was saying she didn't want to forget him. Danny gave a nod and looks back at her.
"I promise to visit." He said.
Booette smiles and kisses him. Danny's eyes widen in shock but didn't move. She soon broke the kiss and smiled.
"Maybe if we're lucky, we could get married." She said.
"MARRIED?!" Danny shouted in shock.
"I'm joking! I know you're too young to get married." Booette giggles.
Danny sighs. He turns to the door and unlocks it. They both step into the 1st Floor Hall, and Danny spots lots of doors.
"Careful, some of these doors are fake!" Booette told him.
"Any idea where to go?" Danny asked.
Unlike the rooms before, Danny didn't know where to start. Booette had to think, she knew there were a few rooms they could enter. However, she still had some connection to the house. Most of the doors were lock or fake, but she did find one that wasn't unlocked.
"It's at the other side of the Hall, but it appears the Bathroom is unlocked." She said.
"A bathroom? But you're a ghost." Danny said, confused.
"Well, we sometimes get visitors. We don't always scare them away." Booette said.
Danny shrugs and started to walk down the hall. He saw few more ghosts and was shocked at how easy it was to catch them. They continue until found the door.
"Danny, wait," Booette said.
"Yeah?" Danny asked.
"I know I might not seem like it, but I'm while to wait out here if you have to go." She said.
Danny looks confused before he figures it out.
"Oh! It's fine. I use the bathroom back at the lab. I should be good for a while." Danny said, blushing.
Booette nods and they both enter the 1st Floor Bathroom. The door was sealed shut, and they both stood ready. Danny suddenly felt something grab him.
"Booette? Are you scared?" He asked.
"Um, no and I'm not holding you." She said.
Danny could feel something squeeze him, almost as if it was trying to choke him. Danny started to shake, hoping to throw the ghost off him. He got it off and saw Booette throw another ghost while blushing.
"Perverts!" She said, angrily.
Danny quickly stuns them with his flashlight and sucks them in. The lights turn on, and they spotted the key. Danny sucks the key down as Booette found another piece of Sect. After that, Booette told Danny the key unlocked the Ballroom. They travel there, and they heard music playing.
"Oh! One of my favorite rooms! Please, let's dance for a bit." Booette said then asked.
"Err, I'm not good at dancing," Danny said.
"I'll help you and since I'm a ghost, you don't have to worry about stepping on my feet," Booette said before she started to help him.
"Okay, put one hand in mine, and the other on my waist." She said as Danny follow her instructions.
"Good, now for the steps. What we are going to do next is take a step back then step forward." She said as Danny follow her steps.
They took one step back and waited. They took a step forward, and Booette smiles.
"Nice. Now, this might be a bit tricker, we're going to spin slowly. When I put my right foot forward, put yours behind you." She said, taking the step.
Danny carefully took a step back as Booette explain the next step.
"Okay, we're going to turn our bodies slowly while making sure our left feet stay still until we fully turn." She said.
Danny nods and does just that. The two kept practicing and Danny was starting to get better at it. They kept dancing slowly until they started to pick up the speed a little bit. Danny never danced with a girl before, but it did feel nice. He saw Booette lay her head on his chest as they kept dancing. Danny smiles and kept dancing with her.
They were snap out of it when two more Ghosts appear.
"Look, Darling. The Princess has a Dance Partner." The Male said.
"Indeed, Honey. He just started his lessons, and he's already a natural." The Female said.
"The Floating Whirlindas!" Booette said, breaking away from Danny.
"However, they are nowhere as good as us." They said before dancing again.
Danny tried to find their hearts but couldn't see them.
"The Floating Whirlindas have been together for a long time. Finding their heart isn't going to be easy." Booette told him.
"Any idea how we can spit them?" Danny asked.
"Well, they are dancing, maybe..." Booette said and whispers into Danny's ear.
After thinking about it, he nods. Though he wasn't a great dancer, it was to get them to show their hearts. Danny and Booette dance, remembering to keep an eye on The Floating Whirlindas. When the music started over, Danny and Booette notice the two breaking a bowing, showing their heart! Danny and Booette broke, with Danny shining his flashlight on them. They froze, and Danny quickly sucks them up. However, these two were a bit strong, and Booette spotted more ghosts heading for Danny.
She quickly fought them back as Danny fought against the power of the Floating Whirlindas. Finally, Danny sucks them in the poltergust, making the ghosts disappear as the lights turn on.
"Hey, Danny?" Booette spoke up with a smile on her face.
"Yeah?" He asked.
"You're a great dancer." She said, kissing him.
Danny was shocked by the kiss, and Booette broke away before he could kiss back. After opening another chest and finding another piece of Sect, they heading to the door in the room and unlocked it. They step into the Storage Room, and Bootte felt something very familiar.
"Booette? What's wrong?" Danny asked.
"Be on guard. We're not alone." She said.
Danny could tell she was serious. Now that he thought about it, there was something about this room that felt really eerie than the others. And he has this strange feeling he was being watched. Danny looks around and spots a button that said Do not Push.
'Well, if it says that, then that means they want me to push it.' Danny thought and pushed the button.
Both of them jump as the wall suddenly moves down, making the room much bigger. However, Booette spotting someone appearing as Danny looks shocked. It was a ghost, but not like the others. He was cover in darkness, making it hard to see what his shape truly was. The only that that could be made out was the red eyes.
"Ah! Princess. Welcome to my home." It said.
"You mean MY home!" Booette shouted.
The Shadow chuckles and turns to Danny, who was trying not to be scared.
"To think you had teamed up with a human. Hmm, he's your age. Sound like you found your match." It said.
Booette floated in front of Danny, not liking what it said one bit.
"However, I have no time to deal with you. But, I am interested in how far you go. Survive my traps, and I'll reward you." It said before disappearing.
Danny suddenly fell to his hands and knees. He couldn't believe what he saw and sense. That ghost was no normal ghost. It was beyond anything his parents told him.
"Danny?" Are you alright?" Booette said, leaning down to him.
Danny took a breath and looks at her.
"Y-y-yeah. I just need a minute." He said, shaky before getting up.
"So, that's the spirit that took your home?" He asked.
"Yes. He's dangerous and not to be underestimated. We're lucky we don't have to fight him now." She said.
"Booette? Can I have a few minutes to get over what I saw? I don't think I can move after that." Danny said, seeing his legs shake.
Booette nods and helps him to a chair. She sighs. The Evil Spirit had shown itself sooner than she thought. She was hoping Danny would have more time to prepare for it, but it was a no-go now. However, she sat on Danny's lap, surprising him.
"Let me help you get over it." She said, cupping his cheek and pulled him into a kiss.
This time, she let Danny enjoy the kiss, and he started to kiss back.
Okay, Area 2 is much longer than Area 1. So I'm spiting Area 2 up. I might do the same for Area 3. So, Booette help Danny learned to dance, and they had met the main villain. Since it has been a while since I last worked on this, I need time to remember what I had with the Evil Spirit. Remember, Booette might be flirtatious, but she does care and wants to take her time. So the next chapter will cover the rest of Area 2 before we head to the second rest chapter.
