Emmett caught her before she even hit the ground, and held her small frame in his arms, not believing this woman was in fact his lover, "Mimi." He laid her on a nearby sofa ran his fingers through her hair, before remembering himself.

He was a vampire. His touch would be like ice to her. He retracted his hand and hurried to grab a blanket, to cover her up. He then went to his father's office and grabbed a thing of smelling salt, so he could try to wake her up. He knelt beside her, as he moved the small jar under her nose, waiting.

She slowly opened her eyes, to stare up at him, "Are you really here?" She reached her hand out to touch his cheek, and froze as the realization of what he was sunk in, "Oh, Em." She flung her arms around his neck, and started to cry, "I never thought I would see you again. What happened to you?" She was now on his lap, roaming her hands over his large frame, probably making sure he was real.

"I was mauled by a bear, Rosalie found me, then asked Carlisle to turn me," He answered, as he held her as gentle as possible, and ran his own hands over her. "You never came back." He didn't even notice the small bulge hidden by her coat.

"I had to turn the time turner in, and I couldn't even return if I had wanted to," She explained, as she closed her eyes, not caring that his skin was cold, against her own skin. She finally locked her eyes with his, and gave a little smile. "Your eyes are golden, not your beautiful blue"

He smiled at her observation, as he carefully stood up, and brought her up to the family room where Esme's juice, and pastries, were set. He gently sat her on the sofa, and then sat beside her, "So this is for-" realization dawned on him, remembering about his father was taking her on as a patient, and said she was pregnant. He glanced down at her stomach, where there was the slightest bump, and instantly shot out of the seat and went across the room, "You're pregnant? You've moved on?"

"Emmett, it's only been four months, since the last time we were together. How could I have moved on so quickly?" The young witch asked, glaring at him for his assumption of her expectancy. "This baby is yours, and mine," She gently explained, standing on her own feet. She pulled at the long-sleeve dress she was wearing, removing her coat, "I found out I was pregnant after the final battle, that is one of the reasons I couldn't have returned to you, even if I had wanted to."

A wide grin spread across his face, thinking about his baby, and being with the woman he loved again, "I'm going to be a father?"

"Yes, you are," Answered the young woman, as she rubbed her stomach, "I never thought I would see you again."

He slowly approached the small witch, and placed his hand over her stomach, not taking his eyes off of her, "I didn't think I would see you again, you would be so disappointed if you knew what I have done, and what I have become."

She tilted her head to the side, as she reached a hand to his cheek, "That's in the past, we're together again."

He realized that he wasn't able to smell her blood, or anything about her, which was strange, "Your scent?"

"I knew I was coming into a home of vampires, so I made it that my scent wasn't tempting for your family," She answered, as she sat back on the sofa, and looked at the food displayed, "Is it alright that I have one of the fruit tarts?"

He let out a loud laugh, as he held the assorted pastries, so she could pick at them, "Esme made them for you, because she knew you were coming, and that you might want to eat while you wait."

"That was very kind of her," She smiled as she popped one of the tarts in her mouth, and looked around the nicely decorated room, "This house is beautiful, but it's not our cabin."

He looked around the home he had been living in, off and on for the last few decades, and then back at the woman beside him, "No it is not."

"I wish I never left you that day," She looked down at the glass of juice, which he had poured for her, "Than-"

"We're just focusing on the future, remember?" Reminded the vampire, as he removed a small crumb, from the corner of her mouth, "You're just as beautiful as the last time I saw you."

"And you're even more handsome, than our last time together," She lightly traced his lips with her fingers, and sighed, "I'll get used to the new you, eventually."

"As long as you don't leave me again, then take all the time you need," He places a gentle kiss to the tip of her finger, before holding her hand in his, "I had been mad when I was first turned because I thought death would had been my only chance at seeing you again, but now I feel more grateful than I have been in a long time."

She brought his large hand to her own lips, and placed a small kiss, "So you're homeschooling?"

He let out another booming laugh, as he shook his head, "No that's just the story we tell the town."

"So how am I going to explain, that you're the father of the baby. It was almost easier when I thought I wouldn't see you again," She leaned back against the sofa and placed a hand over her face.

"I'll be there to share my side of it," He assured, as he moved his hand to her stomach, "This is our baby."

Carlisle walked into the house, finding his new patient talking with Emmett, while his son had an arm wrapped around the her shoulda, with his free one resting over her stomach. As a rule, unlike the rest of his family, when his daughter had a vision, or son went into people's minds, he insist on not knowing (Unless it was a warning of harm towards his family}. So he was surprised to find the two, in such an intimate situation. He cleared his throat, and was surprised, when the two only looked in his direction, instead of pulling apart. "Have you two met?"

"You could say that, Dr. Cullen," Answered the young woman, as she slowly got to her feet, and approached him with her hand held out. "Thank you for agreeing to take me as your patient."

Carlisle stared at his son, who had a genuine smile across his face, unlike the ones he normally had with his family. He noticed as his son stood beside his patient, and watched her every move, "Don't you have something to do now, thank you for keeping Miss Granger company."

"Uhm, well I feel he should be a part of all future appointments, as this does concern him," The witch looked nervously at her love, who nodded in agreement, as he wrapped his arms around her waist.

Emmette felt her relax in his arms, as he looked at his father with the same smile, "We have to tell you something."

"Alright you two, let's head to my office," Instructed the doctor, as he started to head up the stairs, to said office.

From the first time, he met the young woman and knowing his son's interaction towards other vampires, or strangers (not counting family). He knew neither of them, were the type to be so intimate, upon first introductions. Or at least he knew that on his son's part was only slightly certain the young woman was the same.

The older vampire gestured to the two, once they were all seated, "Please explain."

Hermione smiled at the doctor, "Well as you know I am a witch. Well almost three years ago, I was attending Hogwarts, which is a school for magical beings, and took on far too many courses. So my Mentor Minerva had given me a time turner, which helped me be able to pass them. Well, one day I was upset over something petty, not worth mentioning really, and wished I could find somewhere safe. Then the next thing I knew, I was standing in the middle of some unfamiliar woods, face to face with Emmett," she looked at the man himself, and smiled, "Nineteen-thirty-two right?"

Emmett smiled, as he reached for the young woman's hand, and turned to his father, " Yes. I was hunting for some game, and suddenly there she was, wearing clothes I have never seen the girls of that time wear, and looking scared. Of course, I should have been the one scared, but you see how beautiful she is, right?"

The mother-to-be blushed, as she lightly smacked the man beside her, then turned her attention to the other vampire, "Well after the first visit, I kept returning to him because that was where I felt safe, and he was there when I lost my parents. The last time I saw him, was four months ago, about the same time-"

"You got pregnant," The doctor finished, not hiding his wonderment over the situation, "This is very interesting. How were you able to get to him?"

"Usually a time turner only takes you to a specific time, but you don't leave the area where you use it. Except when heart magic occurs, in that rare case, you can be moved to your soulmate's time. I had wanted someplace safe, so the time turner took me to, Em," Explained the witch, smiling at the man she love.

"Soulmates are very important, took me becoming a vampire to find my Esme," Carlisle smiled at his son, as he watched the young vampire try to contain himself, "So now that you two found one another, what does that mean?"

"I'll go wherever she asks me to," Answered Emmett, staring at his found again love, as he placed a hand over her stomach, "So do you know what we're having yet?"

Carlisle smiled, as he stood and walked to where his home exam room door was connected to his office, then turned to look at the two, "I won't be able to tell the sex, until your eighteenth week, but we could see the baby still."

"Cool," Emmett stood helping the mother of his child to her feet, before following his father into the room. "I want to see our baby."
