Four Weeks later
It had been a month since he was reconnected with the love of his life, and he still hadn't kissed her on the mouth, because of fear of hurting her accidentally. He made sure that she always had something to eat when she was hungry, got plenty of rest when she was tired or had anything else she may have needed. The only hard part was that he had to say goodnight to her when he brought her home.
"I think memory foam is your best bet." Comment Jasper, as he sat beside his brother, "How is Hermione doing?"
"She is doing great, the baby is healthy," Answered the vampire, as he continued to search for a bed, "How about this bed, she could adjust it to sit up while feeding the baby, or reading or laying it to a comfortable position to sleep.
"Why are you looking for King beds?" The southern vampire asked, as he working on one of his crossword books.
"I thought it would be big enough, so all three of us could lay on it," Answered the large vampire, as he added the right bed to the shopping cart, then started a new search.
"I don't think Alice would want me laying down with you guys," Teased the blonde, causing his brother to laugh, "It has been pleasant being around you, you've been so happy lately." He glanced at the screen, and laughed at the search subject, "I thought she already had a crib?"
"She does, but it's at Charlie's, I thought I would like to have one here," Answered Emmett, frowning as he leaned back in his seat, "When I was a human, mom and dads lived together, and raised their children. Then we visited families on the weekends, and played with cousins, and had cookouts."
"My family use to go to dances at neighboring houses, you know when they actually had dance cards," Jasper took the laptop from his brother, and typed something into the search, "This is what I should be looking for."
"Real estate," Emmett shook his head, then smiled as he typed something, "I rather look for land than houses. That way Esme, could build her the perfect house, with anything she could want."
"What about a house?" The other vampire asked as he pointed to the empty plot of land," There is no house."
There were trees all over a piece of unbuilt on land, reminding him of the woods near his childhood home, where the cabin he shared with his love hidden away, "This area looks as close to the cabin Mimi, and I stayed in, that I know she would love it. We will be able to stay close to Charlie, so she could be near her only family."
"I saw and felt her temper, the last time she was here and Edwards tried to go into her mind," The blonde reminded, patting his friend's shoulder, she doesn't seem like the type to like big surprises like that.
The large vampires smiled vanished from his face, realizing his brother was right. He closed the machine, and stood to his feet, "I think I am going to talk to, Mimi, and see if she needs anything."

Hermione groaned as she fell onto the sofa, next to where her uncle was sitting, watching his game, "I thought you watched the game with Billy, and Jacob Black?"
"No he'll be here tomorrow," Charlie wrapped his arm around his niece, not keeping his eyes off the screen, "So I got a call from Bella."
"Really, how is she doing?" The witch asked, taken by surprise by the news, "Is she alright?"
"Apparently Phil got a pitching contract for the Suns, and is going to be moving to Florida, so since Bella doesn't want to move to Florida, she asked if she could move in here," Answered her uncle, turning to look at his niece, to see her reaction.
"That's great, I know you missed her Uncle Charlie," The expecting mother smiled, as she got back to her feet, "I was thinking about finding a place, for us anyway," she rubbed her stomach as she walked towards the door, and grabbed her coat, "I am going-"
Charlie quickly got to his feet, and approached his niece, "You don't need to move out, I could fix up the basement, and make a room for Bella, so she could have some space and you could be close to my room for when the baby comes."
"I would like my own place Uncle Charlie, and I was even going to ask if Emmett might be interested in the idea," Admitted the witch, getting to her tiptoes, to place a kiss on his cheek, "I'll be back later unless a Vampire decides to sweep me away, and force-feed me some Italian again."
"If that happens then ask him to get some ravioli too," Her uncle laughed, holding the door open for her.
The witch giggled, as she waved as she walked down the street, "I love you."
"Love you too, kiddo," Charlie returned, shutting the door once his niece was out of sight.

Emmett had been heading towards his witch's house when he spotted a jewelry store. So he had been standing outside the shop, staring at the ring display, for the last thirty minutes. He had been so focused on the ring, he didn't even hear anyone approach or smell anyone's scent since he was holding his breath.
"Looking for a gift for Esme?" Came the familiar voice of his love, Hermione.
He smiled, as he turned around to face her, pulling her into his arms, "Hey, was on my way to see you, then I got to thinking."
"Carlisle invited me to the birthday party, which he has planned for Esme," The expecting mother turned to look at the display window, and pointed to one of the jewelry, "I think Esme would love that necklace, with the diamond lily."
He had actually been looking at the engagement rings but didn't want to let her know, in case it scared her off. He took her hand, as he lead her into the shop, "Might as well buy her the matching earrings while we're at it."
"That would be wonderful, Esme, is such an angel," Hermione stopped at a ring display, and smiled at the vampire, "I think we should move in together since we're having a baby."
He nodded, trying to keep his excitement down, as he pretended to consider her thought, "If that's what you want, I mean I would love to be near you, and our baby."
"Good, because Bella, is going to be moving in with Charlie, and I want to give them time to get to know one another," Hermione smiled as she walked up to the saleswoman, to tell her what they wanted.
He'll just have to wait on the ring.
