Rachel and Cassie were following the directions Naruto took towards the hotel. They had kept their distance to make sure Naruto didn't know they were following him. Crossing the street, Rachel suddenly stopped causing Cassie to stop too and look back at her in confusion.
"Why'd you stop?"
Rachel looked towards the sky as she narrowed her eyes slightly. "Something's happening."
The comment caused Cassie to raise an eyebrow "What are you talking about?" The blonde girl questioned.
"Something bad is coming," She repeated.
Now Cassie knew her friend was weird. She knew her and both Naruto for a year now and had gotten used to the weird habits and moments but this was something new. She seemed to be acting like some sort of Psychic.
Crossing her arms, she shook her head at her purple haired friend "This isn't exactly the time to make jokes Rachel."
Rachel frowned "No, trust me. I'm not-" Her speech was cut off by a boom that reverberated through the city causing all the windows to shatter near them. Car alarms went off as the windows of those cars had also been destroyed. Panic quickly started as cars crashed into each other while people tried running away from some of the buildings that were collapsing.
Cassie was completely caught off guard and watched in shock at what was happening before her. A hand suddenly took a hold of her and started dragging her along. It snapped her out of her shock and made her look over to see Rachel being the person who was dragging her.
"I told you something bad was going to happen" Cassie stayed silent for a second before shaking her head and started running along next to her friend who had let go of her.
"We need to find Naruto and get somewhere safe" The blonde told her friend who quickly agreed with her. They were both worried about their friend since he did not look well at all today.
Rachel suddenly looked up to the sky seeing portals open up making her gasp in panic 'Oh no, don't tell me he sent people here' The gasp made Cassie look over towards the sky too before her eyes widened. The portals started expanding before demon-like creatures came out of them. Cassie made eye contact with one of them and it caused shivers down her spine at the look on the demon-like creature's face.
Rachel nearly let out a sigh of relief not seeing what she thought was coming but refrained in doing so seeing what still came out of the portal. She did not know exactly what kind of creatures they were but they weren't giving off a good feeling. Looking back at her blonde, she saw her being shocked by what she was seeing.
"What the hell are these things?" Cassie questioned in a tone mixed with fear and curiosity.
"I don't know," Rachel answered taking another look at the creatures before looking back at her friend "But we need to hurry and find Naruto" At the mention of their redhaired friend, Cassie forgot about her fear and started running along with Rachel towards the same direction Naruto would've taken.
They tried to ignore the screeching noise the creatures let out and increased their pace but were halted by seeing some of the creatures come towards them. Cassie started panicking, not really knowing what to do but still prepared to defend herself but suddenly a dark projectile crashed into them causing them to get blown away harshly.
She looked over to see what exactly caused that and was even more shocked to see Rachel holding out her hands while they glowed purple and the dark projectile was being fired from her.
She stuttered out "R-Ra-Rachel, y-you…" She couldn't even know what to say at this moment. While it wasn't weird to see anything like this since she had seen the likes of Superman on TV but knowing that one of her closest friends was capable of doing this shocked her. It also hurt her a bit knowing that her friend did not tell her of this.
Rachel stopped her attack as her arms fell to her sides again. "I'll explain everything later, for now we need to hurry up and find Naruto."
Cassie opened her mouth to object but stopped when she thought about it 'She's right. Getting to Naruto is more important now' She nodded towards the purple haired girl. She was going to get her answers later anyways.
They started running again while Rachel kept fending off any of the creatures that neared them and tried attacking them. 'How many of them are there?' Unknowing, both the girls were thinking the same thing as they ran through the horde of creatures.
Steadily the goth like girl began to change, her pale hue changing to an ashen grey. Revealing that she had disguised herself with her magic.
Cassie made a surprised noise at the sight of her friend, Rachel gave one of her best friends another look.
The blond raised her hands in a form of surrender. The duo made their way past the demonic bug men. Thanks to the bluenette's magic, creating a path, parting the Parademon's like the Red Sea.
The two looked more and more distressed, the fear that these bug men have harmed or done worse to their favourite blond.
Rachel's magic was fierce and deadly, the blackness was overwhelming, it was thick with its power.
Cassie was left speechless as she watched her usually quiet and timid friend break loose.
"Get the hell off me!" Naruto's voice broke through the clash, catching the girl's attention.
"Naruto!" Cassie yelled out as she broke away from Rachel, charging recklessly into the mob of Parademons.
"Cassie!" The bluenette was unfortunately ignored, unable to help her dear friend due to the overwhelming number of the bugmen.
Cassie was agile as she ducked and weaved through the horde, wincing as she scraped her hands against the cold hard ground.
Grunting as she was knocked onto her back by one of hell's monstrosity, dazed by the blow, the blond bombshell turned her head to the right, eyes widening in horror as she finally found Naruto.
Beaten bloody and only hanging on by a thread.
"NARUTO!"

The parademons rushed forward, some moving off towards the civilians nearby. 2 parademons came into his guard, using their claws, they aimed at his head making him move to the side to dodge the attack.
The second demon came up from behind trying to catch the redhead off guard but failed as the teen ducked causing the parademon to tear through the first parademon.
'I gotta get out of here' His first priority was escaping the area and getting to a safe spot before calling Rachel or Cassie. A cry of help caught his attention, making him look to his left to see a couple trying to fend off the same creatures that attacked him.
Unfortunately, the man failed in protecting his girlfriend as the demonic bug men ripped off the man's arm causing the girlfriend to scream in terror again. The sight caused him to wince at the brutality while looking around if anyone was going to help her, though the others seemed too preoccupied with themselves.
'Fuck' He cursed inside his mind while running towards the girl. He picked up one of the trash cans on his way before chucking it as hard as he could at the demonic creatures successfully distracting them and giving him a split second to save her.
He seized the chance and took her by the waist. She let out a surprised noise at suddenly being dragged by him while Naruto started sprinting away from the scene. He tried ignoring the screams of agony, cries of help and car alarms to focus on getting away from the danger.
"Watch out!"
The warning from the woman in his arms made him look back to see the same trash can he had used being thrown back at him. Reacting quickly, he jumped away into the alley letting the object zoom off and crash at a car causing its alarm to blare.
The woman tightened her hold on him when 3 parademons came into the alleway, effectively blocking their only exit. 'No other way then' He slowly let go of the girl who seemed to go into panic feeling him let go causing him to turn around to quickly reassure her.
"Don't worry. I won't go anywhere, you just stay here!" With that said, he turned his gaze back to the 3 creatures and readied himself for his first fight in some years. He started running towards them while the 3 demons flew towards him.
'Hope I haven't forgotten those Jiu-jitsu lessons'
He jumped onto the creature, catching its head with his legs while twisting his body around its head before flipping the creature onto its back as he rolled back into a standing position. The second demon came up from his back while throwing a punch. Naruto slid his body around the arm before taking a hold of it and throwing the demon over his shoulder. Perfectly executing a hip throw.
The demon on the ground took a hold of his foot effectively trapping him. The air suddenly got hotter as something warned him to a stream of fire coming his way. His instincts kicked in as his body dropped down letting the stream of fire go over him.
Stomping on the hand holding his foot causing it to loosen, he jumped out of the way of the 3rd of the demonic bug who crashed into his previous position causing the ground to break off. Picking up the lid of the bin next to him, he threw it perfectly towards the creature's neck causing it to break a part of the neck.
Wasting no time, he jumped up from his position, his right foot coming up to kick at the head of the parademon. The hit connected cleanly making the head get blown away as the creature's body jerked up for a bit before falling down.
He looked quite surprised by what his actions managed to do, giving the 2 remaining parademons to catch him by surprise. He was suddenly hit on the back making him get blown back into the side of a car.
He groaned in discomfort but had no time to worry about his body as the demon rushed towards him. The redhead rolled to the side letting the car's door fall because of the demonic bug crashing into it. The thing reared its head back to him making him scowl in irritation at their durability.
'Gotta finish this faster' His hand came up to swat away a punch before ducking from another punch. Crouched down on the ground he swiped the parademons feet causing it to trip giving him enough time to pick up the car's door that fell off.
Rearing the door back, he relentlessly brought it down on the creature's chest, not giving it any chance to react and fight back. His movement started getting wilder before he finally stopped seeing the body no longer reacting while he tried catching his breath from the wild swings.
"NOOO! GET AWAY FROM ME!" His senses suddenly started going off, his eyes widened once he recognized the voice to be from the girl he rescued before. Looking over towards the alleyway, he saw the girl running towards him while the parademon flew behind her.
Taking the door into his right hand he gripped it tightly while calling out "Get down!" The woman did not hesitate in listening to him as a split second after she crouched down, the door flew across at high speeds towards the demonic bug man completely tearing off its head from his body.
Naruto looked down at his hands, not knowing how exactly he did all that but it felt like he had done something like this before, as if it was something natural to him.
The sounds of sirens snapped him out of his thoughts indicating authorities had arrived. He nearly released a sigh of relief but stopped when his senses once again started going off from all directions. He clutched his ears in pain when he heard even more screeching sounds "Not again" He muttered in annoyance looking up to see more boom tubes opening up.
The SWAT teams started shooting at the newly arrived parademons but the bullets had no effects as they bounced off of them. The parademons flew at them as they started tearing through them one by one.
The redhead looked back to the woman he saved who had her mouth covered seeing the massacre happen right in front of her eyes "What are you doing just standing there?! Get out of here while you still can!" His shout managed to snap her out of her temporary shock. She managed to nod at him in her fearful state before running off safely while everyone else was preoccupied.
Standing up, he quickly went to find the car door he previously used, finding it to be embedded into one of the walls of the alley with the parademons head still on top of it. Yanking it from the wall, he ignored the wall falling onto the ground as he made his way back onto the street.
A couple of the parademons at him. Unknowingly, lightning flashed through Naruto's eyes showing a determined expression. He blocked the strike from the first parademon with the car door before pushing it forward a yell towards the wall. He pushed the demonic looking bug against the wall as hard as he could. Only letting go after hearing the cracking sound, indicating it being destroyed.
Turning back around, he continued fighting off the oncoming parademons while the others continued tearing through the SWAT teams who were still. His entire form froze seeing the gruesome scene in front of him. Piles of bodies were on top of each other while it kept getting bigger.
He didn't even register the screams of the men as their arms were ripped out of him. Some were simply impaled in their chest by the parademons, instantly destroying their organs. His stomach started feeling worse when a soldier was simply ripped in half. Screams of anguish continued as people started getting burned alive by the fire from the parademons.
Because of him being distracted by what was happening to the SWAT teams, he did not see one of the parademons swiping at his back "Gah!" His clothing had been ripped apart showing the marks on his backs while blood ran down his body. A pained look crossed his face before he turned around to look at his enemies in rage.
He lunged at them, determined to destroy them all. Unfortunately as time went on, his chances started decreasing as the numbers for the parademons kept increasing. Kicking one of them in the head, the boy got some time to take in some deep breaths.
'Fuck, there is too many of them' His state wasn't looking good. His clothes had been ripped off in a lot of places, he had lost his only weapon and was beaten badly as was evident by the amount of blood on him and him holding his left arm which had gotten limp. Grunting, as he was tackled to the ground, he turned around and tried fighting them off.
The demonic looking bugs started piling up on him, throwing punches and swipes left and right "Get the hell of me!" His defiant shout and trashing had not much effect against the numeral opponents.
Continued punches to his body and head started making him feel dazed. His eyes struggled to stay open from the amount of abuse his body was getting as he was tethering on the edge of consciousness.
"NARUTO!"
The shout caused everything to come to a stop. Looking over to the direction Naruto was in for a shock when he saw one of his best friends struggling to hold off 2 parademons. Seeing her in distress caused his dazed eyes to snap back to focus, unknowing to him, lightning flashing through them.
"GET AWAY FROM HER!" Pushing up against the distracted demons, he managed to stand up and tried to run towards the struggling blonde girl "Cassie!" Due to his current state, he was too slow to dodge the enemy that tackled him to the ground again. "CASSIE!" He screamed in despair seeing the parademons taking a hold of her.
The girl tried her best to break free but all was fruitless when it came to the demon's monstrous strength. She screamed again as they flew up and carried her off into the distance.
"NO! GET BACK HERE!" Naruto shouted again but it was no to avail as he was held down by the parademons. One of the parademons landed a vicious punch to his head causing it to collide against the ground and him to feel dazed again. Sound was suddenly blocked off as ringing filled his ears.
Suddenly, the weight that was on him was gone. A black dome suddenly surrounded his vision as he tried to get his vision back. He felt his body being picked up by someone and shaken, turning his head to look at the person he tried focusing on her but could still only see a blurry outline and hear the ringing sound in his ears.
"Naruto, come on! Answer me!" Rachel pleaded in concern. Her heart started beating faster in worry seeing the state her friend was in. "Naruto, please answer me!" She kept trying to shake him back into a normal state while the parademons were clawing viciously at her protective dome she had set up.
Some seconds later, Naruto's vision and hearing came back but was shocked to see who was holding him up "R-Rachel, is that you?" He knew it was his friend but her skin tone looked different from the usual confusing him.
"Naruto, thank god!" The bluenette exclaimed in relief.
HIs mind focused and he tried to sit up fast, Rachel pushed him back down with a firm hand.
"Cassie, she-"
"Not right now, we need to get away from here first" The barrier had finally been destroyed by the mass amount of Parademons. They stood with their backs to each other as they eyed their opponents. A second later they all made their moves, Rachel fighting them off with her magic while Naruto used his martial arts knowledge.
More portals started opening up from the sky with hundreds of hundreds of parademons coming out of them and to their direction. They both tried their best to keep fighting them off but the numbers kept increasing by the second.
Naruto after punching a parademon away glances over to Rachel to see how she was doing but saw a parademon flying at her unguarded back. Lunging as fast as he could, he tackled the enemy before he could reach his friend and started throwing wild and fast punches, giving it no time to recover.
Blindsided by another demon, he got piled up on again. Knowing his chances were grim, he turned his head to look at the girl and called out "Get outta her. You can't win against them by yourself!"
The girl looked hesitant, not wanting to abandon someone as important to her as Naruto. Her being distracted almost caused her to get hit by one of the demons. A dark construct formed in front of her, blocking the next strike that came at her from another demon, she pushed it out and surrounded herself with an enforced shield.
Collapsing to her knees she held her head as her skin tone went from the ashen gray to red "RELEASE ME!" A demonic voice shouted internally causing her to wince in pain.
'N-no' The girl thought weakly but the voice kept insisting as she kept changing forms.
In one of the buildings overlooking the area, a man in a black suit with a red tie was looking at them in interest from the roof. "Oh, things seem to be heating up."
The heavy hits his body took were once again bringing him near unconsciousness as he tried to stay awake and fight them off. As the demons continued to pile up on him, his body started giving out slowly 'Damn it, she won't make it out of here if I don't do something' He cursed himself for his inability to save her and wished he could fight back.
Suddenly he started hearing whispers in the back of his mind. Closing his eyes he tried focusing on the sound of the voice.
My son, remember your name and who you are. Call out to your power, shout it to heavens, say the name me and your mother gave you, SAY IT WITH ME
THORM!" Sticking his right hand a loud boom went off as thunder started striking the entire area killing all the parademons. The entire sky turned gray as the winds started picking up while thunder continued striking down while Rachel snapped out her state hearing all the noises.
*Flashback*
A 12 year old redhead wearing Asgardian armor walked throughout the lavish halls of the palace. He waved at the maids who stopped to bow to him in respect. Continuing his walk, he arrived at a big decorated door. Moving to open the door, he suddenly had to back off as the doors were opened.
It revealed a tall man with the same shade of red hair as the boy but longer. His body was quite bulky, wearing the same type of armor as the boy with a belt. A hammer with engraving on them resting on the side of the belt. The man grinned widely seeing who was waiting outside for him
"Thorm what are you doing here?"
The boy now named Thorm looked at the older man with his own grin "You said you'd train me today, father" The boy replied.
Thor remembered telling his son that "Right, I did promise that" Turning around, he started walking forwards "Walk with me then."
They navigated their way through the big and lavish palace, greeting everyone back they met on their way. Some minutes later, the duo arrived outside at the training area. Thor turned around to face his son.
"You know, I noticed you eyeing Mjolnir on the way here."
"That's a made up word."
Thor laughed at that "All words are made up" Thorm opened his mouth to reply but closes instantly when he couldn't think up of one. Seeing his son speechless spurred Thor's laughter on more. The boy joined him seconds later as the father and son duo enjoyed their time together.
They went to stand some distance away from each other. The older redhead raised a curious eyebrow "No weapon this time?" The father asked.
Thorm shook his head as an answer "No I've been meaning to improve my hand to hand combat"
"Well then what are you waiting for?" Thor challenged with a smirk. A second later their training for the day started.
Some time later, sitting down on the bench at the training ground, the father and son duo were rejuvenating themselves by drinking. Setting down his glass, Thor noticed his son looking somewhere. Turning his head towards the direction, he found out what exactly his son had been eyeing.
"You've been looking at Mjolnir at lot more lately" Thorm turned to look at his father who had a serious look on his face "You want to have a go at lifting it?"
Thor hesitated for a second, having heard about his father and grandfather being the only people who could lift the hammer. He did not know why that was the case and never tried to lift it before.
"I guess so" The boy shrugged, it never hurt to try his chance at trying to see if he could lift the hammer. Being the son and grandson of the only ones who could lift it did give him some confidence. And with that confidence, he stood up and walked up the hammer some meters away.
Thor watched on in interest as his son grasped the handle of the hammer tightly and pulled with all his might. Narrowing his eyes slightly, he was overwhelmed with pride when his son managed to lift the hammer a little bit before letting it drop back to the ground.
Thorm turned around to face him, his expression one of joy "Did you see that?!"
The prince of Asgard showed him a proud smile "Of course I did. You managed to lift it a bit, you're my son of course!" The man motioned the happy boy to come and sit next to him which is exactly what the younger redhead did.
"Your grandfather ordered the dwarves of Nidavellir to forge the hammer for me. I've had it with me for as long as I can remember…" Thor continued on to tell him about the weapon. "One day in the future, the weapon will be passed on to you to wield it" He finished getting a beaming smile in return.
A thought came to Thorm's mind as he wondered about something "Say father, how come only you, grandfather and me can wield the hammer?" He questioned in curiosity.
Thor held out his hand, the hammer flying into it. He brought it forward to let Naruto see an engraving on it "My father used to say "Whoever holds this hammer, If he should be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor"."
*Flashback*
Bringing down her shield, she was surprised to see the sight in front of her. Rachel looked on in shock at Naruto standing in his previous spot, the ground scorched around them from the unnatural lightning strike that occurred moments ago.
Naruto never felt like this before, he glanced down and examined his hands and arms. It felt like pure electricity and power was flowing through his veins, lighting arced across his form as his tattered clothing revealed his now healed and unblemished form. His head snapped to the side as he felt something familiar speeding towards him and calling out to him. Raising an eyebrow at the familiar feel, Naruto instinctively raised his Left arm just as a hammer zoomed in landing into his splayed palm.
As soon as the hammer came in contact with him, lightning struck once again kicking up a miniature storm as strong winds kicked up debris and sent it flying.
Rachel, not expecting the sudden storm, had to steady herself from flying away. Looking through her raised arms, she managed to barely make out Naruto's form in the eye of the storm being hit by lightning. Metallic braces covered his formars as Chainmail began to form along his body, metallic armor with viking runes appeared over his torso. Legplates and greaves protected his lower half.
As the winds began to die down and the lightning stopped causing the thunder to rumble off into the distance signaling an awakening to the old Gods and the new, Rachel was able to see Naruto slowly float down to the ground now with a winged helmet and a long red cape finishing his look.
On the nearby roof, the suited man from earlier smiled mischievously, giving a short applause at the power he now felt wafting off the young man down below. "The last son finally awakens, Bravo!" His cheers went unnoticed to the people he was observing. "We'll meet soon."
The man vanished into thin air just before Naruto's alert gaze landed on the previously occupied spot. It felt like someone or something had been watching for a split second there.
In a kingdom a very important meeting is taking place between twelve gods, the Olympian Gods to be exact. Zeus looked on in boredom at his dysfunctional family arguing yet again about something unimportant, as his bored gaze wandered over the members of his family they came to a stop on his wife.
She'd been giving him that look lately, her eyes held that spark behind them whenever her gaze met his. She must have visited the Kanathos and renewed her virginity, sighing he tore his gaze from hers ignoring the huff she gave at him doing so. There was no denying that he had chosen well when it came to his significant other, his wife's beauty was unmatched by any other and her love and devotion touched his immortal soul to its roots.
The problem was, she just doesn't do it for him anymore, her constant complaining about his whereabouts and what he'd been doing grew to be recurring annoyances in his immortal life. Plus her demands to know who he had slept with and how many children he sired seem to be what he hears before bed and her giving him the cold shoulder in the morning seems to be what he wakes up to.
His thoughts were interrupted by a sudden spike of familiar godly energy assaulting his senses, sitting up straighter in his throne all chatter came to a halt.
"Father what's w-'" Athena stopped when she registered the power just as the rest of the gods did.
Zeus stood up suddenly as his mind was able to identify why the energy felt so familiar, But the conclusion doesn't make any sense. "I thought they were all wiped." He said absentmindedly,
"You thought who was wiped out?" Hera asked as she tried her best to ignore the uncomfortable spike of energy, there was no denying that it felt divine in nature but an underlying feeling rubbed them all the wrong way.
Retaking his seat Zeus contemplated silently as his family's chatter given new life started again. He was brought from his thoughts by his son Ares shouting. "Let whoever was the cause of that energy come, I'll deal with them myself!"
"You will do no such thing" The booming voice of Zeus made the chamber fall quiet as all eyes focused on him. Hera studied her husband's features as he stood from his throne, she could tell whatever they were feeling seemed familiar to him.
"I can see that you all have sensed that power." Pausing, he looked around at his family's searching gazes. "I decree at this very moment no Olympian will go searching for the originator lest they want to incur my wrath."
"WHAT?!" Ares jumped up. "The person this power belongs to could be a threat to your rule, and you're going to forbid us from seeking them out!" His voice was laced with concern. The other gods weren't fooled by his acting though.
"We both know you could care less about who sits on the throne" Athena's calm voice interjected. The comment got a scowl in return from the God of War who turned his head to look at her with his red eyes.
"Do not tell me-"
"Enough!" Zeus' powerful voice caused his son's mouth to shut click and obediently sit back down on his throne seeing his fathers commanding gaze at him. "My word is final. No one shall go searching for whatever caused that wave of power. You are all dismissed for the day!" The gods heeded their king's word as they started leaving one by one.
Unfortunately, the king of the gods missed the curious and calculating expression on both his wife and son as they left Olympus leaving him to think on what exactly the cause of that burst of energy was.
An older looking man with gray hair, blue eyes and some frown lines on his forehead, indicating his older age picked up his cup of tea, blowing on the hot beverage for a second before taking a sip from it and relishing in the taste and smell. A hissing sound left his mouth when the cup fell over, spilling the hot tea on his hand.
The man held on to his hand as he looked around and tried balancing himself to not fall from whatever was causing his place to shake as violently as it was 'The helmet' The realization hit him quite quickly while prompting the man to hurry through the room to his upstairs area and navigate his way through the halls.
The tower's shakes got more violent as each second passed making it a lot harder for someone his age to properly make his way to his destination. After some struggle, he managed to arrive in front of the door. Without any hesitation, he barged inside, coming up to the scene of a golden helmet shaking in its place.
The eyes of the powerful magical object started glowing white as the helmet itself started floating upwards from its place.
"The wheel of fate turns on the last son of Asgard. The fate of humanity now rests in hands."
'The last son of Asgard?' He was confused about who the god was talking about. "Who are you talking about?" He asked for further information.
"You will find out in due time." The eyes went back to normal while the magical object started floating down slowly into its previous position. At the same time the shaking of the tower had stopped too.
"Mr kent!" A voice snapped him out of his thoughts, making the elderly man look behind him to see a beautiful woman who seemed to be in her early twenties. Long wavy black hair that cascaded down her back and bright blue eyes. Her outfit being that of a magician with a top hat on her head and a cape clipped on the back of her outfit.
Kent could see how worried she was by the expression on her face. "Don't worry about it for now, Zatanna" The now named Zatanna nearly let out a sigh of relief at the reassurance from her teacher. She had originally wanted to go out and see what that powerful energy she had sensed was but her plans had changed when she felt the tower of Fate shaking violently.
Her attention went back to her teacher who let out a tired sigh making her curious "I do have something I need you to do for me, Zatanna."
Back with the redhead asgardian, the young adult was still looking over himself seeing his new attire. A bit of lightning travelled down his left arm, he was reminded of the weapon in his possession. It was the same weapon that he had seen the man in his vision had seen carrying. The same man who he suspected was his biological father.
His entire body had never felt so powerful or so, so complete. It was as if he had been reborn and the weapon in his hand felt as if he had always used the hammer to fend off whatever obstacle was in his path. Closing his eyes again, he tried to focus on the memories that had assaulted his mind as he tried to make sense of them.
"Naruto?" A hesitant voice snapped him out of his thoughts causing his eyes to open again and land on one of his closest friends. Rachel took a hesitant step forward while calling out "Is that you, Naruto?" Her tone is a mix of concern, anxiousness.
His face broke into a smile seeing her unharmed from the attacks from the now destroyed parademons "Yeah, of course it's me. Who else would it be?" His joke helped in getting her to let down her guard but she was still concerned and curious as was evident by her expression.
"But how are you suddenly like…" She paused, looking over at him once again, eyeing the new outfit her friend was adorning "This viking warrior...?"
"I'm not completely sure but I" Naruto hesitated for a second and thought back to the moment he heard the familiar voice calling out to him "I think I heard my father talking to me and I just- my hand it moved on its own and before I knew it, I was in this new outfit, completely healed and got this weapon too."
Her curiosity peaked and she asked "What do you mean by you heard your father?"
"Well, you know. I just heard a voice talk to me and it escalated from there" The asgard answered not really knowing too much about it himself. Though he wasn't completely sure if the boy in that vision was him but he had an inkling to it.
The daughter of trigon looked down on the weapon in her friend's hand, feeling the powerful energy rolling in waves from it. It wasn't just the weapon but she could feel and sense the same energy coming from her friend. Looking back up at his face, she once again saw lightning flash through his eyes causing her to think back on their first meeting.
'I was right, he is different from the others' Her eyes widened when she remembered having sensed the same feeling from Cassie as she had felt from Naruto. Thinking about her other friend caused her concern levels to rise as she hadn't seen her for a while. She was about to speak when suddenly a lot more boom tubes opened up in the sky and out came more parademons than the previous time.
She grit her teeth once she heard her father's voice shouting at her to free him. For a second she contemplated on doing so and freeing her father to fend off their opponents as the numbers were more than ten times the amount they had fought off previously. Her thoughts were cut off by a whirring sound causing her to look to her left at her friend.
Naruto clutched the strap of the hammer in his hand and started spinning the weapon in his hand. It was as if it was guiding him and it felt like he knew what he was doing already. Like it was instinctual. The hammer spun around rapidly before he took a giant leap towards the demons.
Electricity crackled around his form as he zoomed towards them. The impact caused a good amount of their foes to instantly get destroyed while others were blown back. The smoke cleared to show the armored Asgardian floating in the air surrounded by the parademons but not showing any fear or worries at all.
A grin was plastered on his face seeing the results of what he had just done. The demonic bug men let out a loud screech before lunging at him. Naruto was not phased at all. He was a bit surprised to see them being a lot slower than they were before
'Have my senses gotten faster?' He questioned seeing how much faster he could react to everything.
Easily dodging the first one, he brought down his hammer on its back causing it plummet down to ground and explode into pieces. His grin grew wider as he looked towards the others who were closing in on him too.
Once again, he felt the hammer start guiding his attack as his right arm swiped across the sky. The impact against the first one caused it to explode into pieces and lightning to crackle all over the others and caused them to fry from them getting electrocuted. He continued to take out multiple of his foes as they kept charging at him.
Looking over at his opponents, he saw that he had gotten the number down quite a lot. Taking a quick glance over towards Rachel, he could see her fending off the last one in front of her before she took a look at him. He could see amazement in her eyes and knew exactly why that was the case.
The gothic looking girl was completely surprised by how much more powerful her friend was after his newfound powers. She had seen him effortlessly take on so many of them but he effortlessly beat all of them.
Unknowingly to her, a parademon was flying towards her behind her back ready to use his sharp claws and was confused when she saw her friends' eyes widen and bring back his weapon before swinging it towards her. A second later, the hammer zoomed past her frozen form causing her hair to go up from the wind and the weapon to crash into the demonic bug man behind her.
A satisfied smile rested on the asgardian's face when he knew his friend was now saved and focused back on the remaining enemies surrounding him. He readied himself for a fight but his senses went haywire when something was coming back at him at high speeds.
Quickly looking at the direction, he saw his hammer flying back towards causing him to be surprised but that turned into panic for a bit when he saw how quick it was coming. Bringing up his hand he quickly caught it and heaved a sigh of relief before looking at it curiously 'So it can come back to me too huh'
Not wasting any more time, he once again lunged at the remaining foes and took care of them quite fast, not getting any scratch on him. Seeing no more of them, he started to slowly float downwards towards the still flabbergasted Rachel, flashing her a confident and happy grin.
"I'm loving this new power!"
The girl was about to respond when another boom tube opened up and both of them sensed a big spike of energy that was much more dangerous than the one they got from the demonic bug men. Looking towards the direction, they saw a very tall, muscular and a bit large individual wearing a black suit of armor, some spikes protruding from the shoulder. A horned helmet resting on his head, his face being an alien humanoid looking one with grayish skin tone.
