This one was just gonna be our favorite lesbian rock couple getting romantic after having fun at a concert but I decided to make it a little more complex and emotional. Just a heads up, it's gonna be different than the others as it kind of deals with a serious issue. But it should still be really sweet.
Luna x Sam: Confidence
Michigan Stadium, a.k.a. "The Big House". The football stadium for the University of Michigan and home of the Michigan Wolverines. Largest stadium in all of America and one of the biggest sports venues in the world with a capacity of more than 100,000 people.
In the summer, when there's no football season, the stadium is available to use for non-sports related events such as a big rock music festival. For a few days, the stadium held concerts of several music artists that went on all day. The stage was set up at one end of the field and one by one, each performer would play for an hour or so throughout the afternoon and evening. Some performers were only there for one day while most were there for the whole thing.
The closing performance at the end of the day for both the first and second days of the festival was going to be the epic collaboration of Mick Swagger and Smooch. They recently made an album together and became the headliners for the whole event. It was something that thousands of concert attendees were anticipating. Particularly two female college students who happen to be to of the biggest rock music fans around and who also happen to be in an open same-sex relationship.
Luna Loud and Sam Sharp had been girlfriends since high school and were very happy together. They were not afraid to be open about their relationship as they received a lot of support from just about everyone they know. Right now, they were attending the festival to celebrate being out of college for the summer and of course, there's no way they'd miss out on something like Mick Swagger and Smooch performing together. They rented a room at a motel that was within walking distance from the stadium so they could be there all day for every day of the festival. They enjoyed the other music acts throughout the first day leading up to the final act. They also managed to get V.I.P. passes that allowed them backstage so they could meet Mick and the members of Smooch before they were on. Even though they actually met them before, it was still incredibly exciting. It seems like the happy couple would have the time of their lives at this event.
Unfortunately, things went a little south pretty quickly. Shortly before Mick and Smooch could begin their performance, they got a warning for a rainstorm that was about to come. Their performance for the first day had to be cancelled and the show would end early. It wasn't a total loss though as they were scheduled to close out the show the following day and the weather forecast said the skies would be clear for the remaining days of the festival. So the rainstorm wouldn't really turn out to be a terrible thing.
However, the storm wasn't the only bad thing that happened that evening. Something absolutely dreadful and unnecessary happened to the two girls who absolutely did not deserve it.
Sam ran down the street as fast as she could away from the stadium towards the motel as the sun went down and storm clouds appeared overhead. She tried as hard as she could to hold back the tears in her eyes and concentrate on getting back to her motel room. Without slowing down, she arrived at the motel and ran up the steps, down the walkway and burst through the door to her and Luna's room. She panted from running fast and finally allowed herself to break down in tears. She collapsed on the floor sobbing as she thought about the incident that had just occurred.
She and Luna were having a blast the entire day at the stadium. There were both music artists they knew and didn't know that performed but they still loved them all. They had lunch and dinner from the concession stands. And of course, they were hyped about getting backstage to meet the performers they came to see the most. They were even dressed to show they were fans. Luna wore a Mick Swagger shirt and dark cargo shorts while Sam wore a Smooch shirt and denim ripped shorts. Just before the final performance was supposed to start, the couple gleefully headed towards the back of the stage holding hands. They were certain that nothing would stop them from having a rockin' time. That is, until they arrived at the backstage entrance.
There was a security guard stationed at the entrance. The girls showed him their passes so he could let them in. But he refused and said they weren't allowed in. The girls were confused as their passes were genuine and could legally permit them backstage. But the guard argued that it didn't matter and even demanded that they leave the festival and never return. Now Luna and Sam got angry and asked him what his problem was. The guard told them their "kind wasn't welcome anywhere" and that he had every right to deny their rights. The girls then realized that he must've noticed them holding hands and figured they were in a romantic relationship. Apparently this ill-tempered guy was a bigot who'd look for any excuse to condescend people like them. Now the girls were irritated.
Before they could speak again, some more guards appeared at the entrance having overheard the commotion. The girls told them the situation and they scolded the bigoted guard for his behavior. The guard still arrogantly insisted that he was right and that they were wrong to side with the girls. Suddenly, a man's voice was heard from the stage and he informed the crowd that a rainstorm was about to happen and that the show had to end early. Mick Swagger and Smooch's performance wouldn't be until tomorrow.
Then the guard's attitude got even worse. He blamed Luna and Sam for the show getting rained on. He had the ridiculously absurd belief that the universe was punishing them all just because a same-sex couple was in their presence. He saw the storm as a sign that supported his claim that they didn't belong anywhere. The girls were now absolutely infuriated with him.
Luna was about to give him a piece of her mind when Sam stepped forward and beat her to it. She began lashing out at him for how he saw them thinking he had the right to treat them like that. The other guards who took the girls' side let her speak up knowing the bigot deserved it. Luna also thought her beloved girlfriend would be able to put him in his place. But then the guard managed to cut her off and exploded into a tirade. He shouted all kinds of mean, nasty, offensive words right in Sam's face. Suddenly, her determination to stand up to the bigot disappeared and was replaced with fear and mental pain. As the guard kept ranting, Sam turned around and ran off as tears formed in her eyes. The guard even started to chase after her so he could continue to hurt her. Sam was now just determined to get out of there and didn't stop until she reached the motel room.
Now she laid on the floor in her room curled up in a ball feeling scared and heartbroken. As she cried, she realized the guard must not have chased her all the way to the motel. She didn't know when he stopped as she was too focused on getting as far away as she could without looking back. She hoped he lost sight of her or gave up the chase when she left the stadium. She also realized she ran away from Luna and didn't know where she was now. She didn't know what happened back at the backstage entrance after running off. She wanted to find Luna as she was the only person she wanted to see right now, but she was too scared to go back out there and felt ashamed by it.
When Sam opened up with her sexuality and became Luna's girlfriend, she felt certain that she wouldn't be bothered by any negative reactions to it. And while there were some instances of disapproval, she was able to easily overcome them. However, none were as bad as the one she just experienced. She felt as if she would never overcome it this time. For once, she was afraid of being open with her sexuality. All she felt like she could do now was to stay hidden in her room and cry.
She didn't know exactly how long she stayed on the floor, but eventually the door to the room opened. For a split second, she was terrified that the bigoted guard actually had followed her to the motel. But then she looked and saw that it was just Luna and she immediately calmed down.
Luna shut and locked the door behind her. She arrived at the motel just as the rain started to come down outside. She saw the state her girl was in and it devastated her. "Oh, Sam..." she said with sorrow as she knelt down and gathered her in her arms.
"Luna..." Sam whimpered as she hugged her back and cried on her shoulder. "I'm so sorry for running off."
"Don't be," Luna said softly. "No one should blame you for that. You have every right to be upset. That jerk was way outta line and he already paid the price for it."
Sam looked up at her with her red and watery eyes. "W-what happened after I left? I know he started to ch-chase me. I don't even know if he's still a-after me." She shivered at the thought of someone looking for her just to treat her like trash just because of her sexuality.
"We don't have to worry about him anymore," Luna told her reassuringly. She then explained what happened afterward. The bigoted guard didn't chase her that far before other guards apprehended him. Luna followed Sam and saw her run out one of the exits. She was about to follow her to the motel when the guards brought her back to help explain the situation. Even Mick and Smooch were there to know what was going on. They were informed of the guard's behavior and what he said to Sam. He still insisted that he was right and justified with being a bigot and that they were all wrong to take the girls' side. But his boss, the head of security, fired him and the musicians banned him from their shows. He then got furious and even tried to attack them but the boss shot him with a taser and they had him arrested.
"Then Mick and the other dudes told me to go find you and make you feel a whole lot better," Luna continued as she wiped Sam's tears. "They promise there won't be any more trouble for us tomorrow when they do their show for real."
Sam's sobbing got softer. She felt a little better knowing that jerk got what he deserved and that people were on her side. But she was still insecure about being open with their relationship. "I don't know if I want to go back after that..."
Luna sighed. "Alright, how 'bout we take showers and get ready for bed. Once we're comfortable, we'll talk about it some more."
Sam sniffed. "Okay..."
She finally stood up and went inside the bathroom with her sleeping outfit. She removed the sweaty clothes she wore all day and took a nice long shower that helped her relax. It gave Luna some time to think about what she could say to Sam to help her regain her confidence. She understood how the incident made her insecure about their relationship, but she didn't think it'd be necessary to be closeted about it.
When Sam was done, she emerged from the bathroom all clean and wearing a white tank top and navy blue sweat shorts. Luna entered the bathroom to freshen up herself while Sam sat on the bed. Luna took her shower and kept thinking hard about how she could comfort her girlfriend. She was determined to make her happy without having to worry about issues like bigotry. Luna was certain that she loved Sam even more than music itself and she was certain that Sam felt the same about her.
After her shower, Luna dried herself and changed into a dark tank top and lavender sweat shorts. She exited the bathroom feeling refreshed and found Sam on the bed with the TV on. Luna could tell that she wasn't really watching it. Sam had stopped crying but she was just sitting there hugging her knees looking tired and depressed. It always saddened Luna to see her like that. She sat down next to her and put her arm around her. Sam slowly turned to look at her before muting the TV and hugging her back. Luna kissed her forehead and softly stroked her back. For a few moments, they just sat there in silence with nothing but the rain outside being heard. Eventually, Sam broke the silence.
"Why are some people like that?" she spoke in a soft trembling tone. "Is it so hard to accept how certain human beings choose to live their lives? How can some just automatically think they know better than everyone else and that it's wrong to think differently than them? And how can the ones who are victimized by it overcome it? I don't know if I can be open with who I am anymore, Luna."
It hurt Luna to hear her say that. Sam really was shaken up enough to question how she presents herself. But Luna had thought about it enough and figured out what Sam needed to hear her say. She turned the TV off and gently turned Sam's head so she was looking her in the eye. She then spoke with a soft yet very sincere voice.
"Sam, luv... I know it hurts to be condescended like that and that it can make you scared to be public about who you are. We just witnessed first hand how vicious and heartless some can be to people like us. But there have always been people like that and there always will be. We're just gonna have to learn to deal with it. And we can learn to deal with it. Because we don't need the acceptance from everyone in the world. We just need the acceptance from those close to us. Those who accept who we are no matter what. That's all we really need." She paused and smiled at Sam, who was considering her words deeply, before continuing.
"When I opened up to my family, they were a little surprised but they accepted who I was without reluctance. And they assured me that no matter who disapproved of it, I would always have their support. That was enough to blow away my doubts about showing the world that I was bisexual. And they're far from the only ones. I have friends who accept me, everyone in my family has friends who accept me, your family accepts me, and all of them accept you too. Even our heroes, Mick and Smooch, along with the dudes working for them took our side today. We have every right to be upset by those who don't accept us and we will always be upset by them. But there are so many others who love us for who we are and that's more than enough for us to be confident for who we are."
Luna placed a hand on Sam's face and smiled. "Whatever happens to us, we'll face it together. I'll always be with you, Sammie." She then kissed her gently. Sam's face brightened as Luna's words had gotten through to her. Before she could speak, something else came out of Luna's mouth.
"So close no matter how far/Couldn't be much more from the heart/Forever trusting who we are/And nothing else matters"
Sam knew she was singing "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica. She always loved Luna's singing voice. Especially when it was soft like it was now. She listened to her as she felt more at peace.
"Never opened myself this way/Life is ours, we live it our way/All these words I don't just say/And nothing else matters"
Sam realized the song basically had the same meaning as Luna's speech. To show that her words had indeed brought her confidence back as Luna intended, Sam started singing along with her.
"Trust I seek and I find in you/Every day for us something new/Open mind for a different view/And nothing else matters"
Luna found Sam's voice to be beautiful as well. The rock couple smiled and stared lovingly into each other's eyes while singing in harmony.
"Never cared for what they say/Never cared for games they play/Never cared for what they do/Never cared for what they know/And I know"
Luna wrapped her arms around Sam and Sam put her hands on Luna's face. Their foreheads touched as they finished the song.
"So close no matter how far/Couldn't be much more from the heart/Forever trusting who we are/No nothing else matters"
Sam gave her a kiss and she kissed back. "I'll be okay as long as I have you, Lunes," she said. "You're the best."
"You'd do the same for me," Luna said. "I'll always be here for you."
"We'll go back tomorrow and rock out with Mick and Smooch," Sam said confidently. "We'll turn it up to eleven and no one's gonna stop us!"
"You got that right, luv!" Luna responded. "Tomorrow's a better day anyway 'cause Lincoln and Ronnie Anne will get here so they can rock out with us! It'll be nothing but a good time"
Feeling satisfied about enjoying the rest of the music festival, especially with the company of Luna's brother and his girlfriend, they held each other in silence some more. Then Sam felt the strong desire.
"Luna..." she whispered.
"Yeah?" Luna whispered back.
"Tomorrow, we turn the volume up to eleven. But tonight, can we please turn our love for each other up to eleven?"
Luna knew what she meant and suddenly felt the same desire as her as she stared at her beautiful face. She smirked. "You bet we can, luv."
The two shared another kiss. One that lasted longer and was more passionate. They secured one another in their arms while making out. They laid down on the bed with Luna on top of Sam. Luna stroked Sam's long blonde hair. Sam ran her hand through Luna's short brown hair in return.
"I'm yours, Lunes," Sam said with passion. Luna reached behind Sam and stuck her hand up her shirt. She kissed her neck while humping her. Sam started breathing more heavily. Luna then pulled Sam's shirt off and started kissing and massaging her cleavage. Sam moaned in pleasure which was a sound Luna loved as much as her favorite rock songs and only encouraged her to keep going. She licked her nipples and squeezed her breasts together. It felt so good to Sam and it felt even better when Luna stuck her hand down into Sam's shorts and rubbed her lady parts. Sam gasped hard and grabbed Luna's hair. She couldn't decide what was more arousing to her, the way Luna was touching her breasts or her vagina.
Soon, she managed to slide her own hand under Luna's shirt. Luna took it as a sign that Sam wanted to be in control so she slowed down a little and help her take her shirt off. With them both shirtless and showing off their boobs, Sam flipped them both so that she was now on top. "My turn to rock your world like never before," she remarked erotically.
Luna grinned slyly. "Come on baby, light my fire!"
Sam caressed her face and kissed her lips deeply. She moved her hands down to Luna's breasts and grasped them firmly. Luna moaned as they continued to kiss. "You're so hot, Lunes..." she whispered in between kisses.
"And you're so gorgeous..." Luna said in reply. She rubbed Sam's back and stroked her hair as they made out. Sam soon broke off the kiss and went down to trail her lips on Luna's neck and then stuffed her face between her breasts. Luna breathed hard and held the back of Sam's head. Sam then pulled Luna's shorts off and started soothingly caressing her womanhood as she did to hers. Luna cooed from the sensation. After a moment, Sam sat up and removed her own shorts. Both women were now completely nude and they loved the sight of each other that way. Sam leaned her face down in front of Luna's, her long golden hair tickling her cheek. They stared deeply into each other's eyes yet again seeing their love for each other in them.
"Luna..." Sam panted excitedly. "I love you... I love you so much..."
"I love you too, Sam... Always will..."
Sam intertwined her legs around Luna's and pushed her vagina against hers. She started humping her in a calm motion. Luna felt more pleased with each thrust. Sam's boobs bounced as she moved so Luna touched them again allowing Sam to coo in pleasure herself. After a while, she grabbed Sam's hips and turned them over again so Sam was on the bottom again. Luna now took control and started moving her hips to make Sam feel good. She also stuck her hand between their body parts that made them women and inserted her fingers inside Sam's. Sam let out an even greater moan. She liked what Luna was doing and inserted her own fingers inside of Luna who made a similar sound. Sam also used her other hand to grab Luna's breast and caress it some more before grabbing the other.
The girls were in total bliss from the incredible affection they were giving one another. Before long, they could both feel something inside of themselves about to burst.
"Lunes... I can't hold it... I'm gonna climax!" Sam exclaimed.
"Me too... Luna panted. "Let's do it together."
They pulled their fingers out and released themselves over each other. They both sighed in satisfaction and dropped down on the bed. They pulled the bed sheet over them and snuggled their naked bodies together. Luna turned off the light and the room went dark. They smiled and nuzzled each other, sighing their hearts out.
"You're amazing, Lunes... I'm yours and yours alone."
"So are you, Sammie... My heart belongs to you and only you as well."
The rock couple shared one last kiss before falling into a deep sleep in each other's warm embrace. Both felt completely confident that they would enjoy the rest of the rock festival and be happy together no matter what.
I must say, I may have just impressed myself by writing something dramatic and with an important message like that, but I just wanted to try it and it's appropriate for Pride Month. The stories to come will go back to being more simple and lighthearted and maybe not as long as this one.
