"Uraraka…" Izuku and Kyoka speak in unison, their tones different as they speak.

Izuku, ever the sensitive, was softer in his tone. Surprise was evident, as he truly had expected her to never appear in Japan again after… After what happened. But, here she is, walking into Izuku and Kyoka on their way to work. Kyoka Jirou. His current girlfriend.

Speaking of, Kyoka's response was far more… Heated. Venom rested on every syllable of the other girl's name, as a toxic taste overtook her mouth. She had hoped that Uraraka had the common sense to stay away after what she did, but it seems not. Because here she is, walking into her and Izuku on their way to work. Izuku Midoriya. Uraraka's Ex-Boyfriend, and Kyoka's current.

"Ah, De-Iz-... Midoriya." Uraraka responded, her tone defeated and upset. "I… I didn't think you would be out patrolling so early."

"We uh… We're actually on the way to our agency." Izuku responds, slowly pushing himself up and off the pavement. He looks at Kyoka, who merely glares at the brunette woman. He lets out a sigh, before offering out his hand.

Uraraka nods, and takes it, getting back up to her own feet.

"So uh… What are you up to out here? I thought things were all good in paradise?" Izuku chuckles, looking away from her as he scratches the back of his head.

"Oh! It's…" Uraraka goes silent, rubbing at her arm.

Kyoka looks at the two, back and forth, before letting out a groan of frustration. "Would you two just spit out what you have to say already?! Izuku, we're gonna be late, and you know that…" She glances at Uraraka.

Izuku looks at Kyoka and nods. It was no secret there was some bad blood between the two women, it would be hard not to see it after what happened last winter. But, Izuku is further aware that Kyoka has always had… Doubts about being compared to Uraraka, to put it lightly. It's been a discussion they've had time and again, and the answer Izuku had would remain the same.

Kyoka is the one he loves, not Uraraka. Not anymore. And he's going to be damned sure he makes this relationship work.

He drops his hand down, and looks, actually looks at Uraraka.

She's in a nice outfit, but her hair is a mess, and she looks like she's just been through emotional hell. Her eyes lack luster and though she wears a polite smile, there's no joy behind. It's almost like… She's in the exact same position that he was in a year ago.

Izuku sighs, and looks at his hands. He clenches them into fists, and closes his eyes, before opening them and huffing out.

He returns his view to Uraraka, and finally, finally, let's her know his full feelings.

"Uraraka!" Izuku says, snapping the woman's attention back to him. "What you did to me, was awful! What you did to everyone, was awful! And how you made all of us feel, was awful! Cheating is a serious event and the fact you did it makes me feel pain and hurt like you wouldn't believe." He explains, clutching at his chest.

Uraraka looks at him in shock, before nodding and slowly drooping her head down.

"But…" Uraraka looks back up, and Kyoka looks at Izuku in only mild surprise. "I can tell that you're going through hardship too. I know the look on your face, because I was in that same situation a year ago. So…" He reaches hand out, a smile on his face. "If Kyoka allows it, would you like to talk?"

Uraraka looks at Kyoka, confusion apparent on her face. The violette lets out a sigh, before grabbing Izuku's other hand in her own, and raising it up, their fingers intertwined.

This only seems to make the woman shocked.

The trio found themselves in a small Cafe a block away.

Izuku finishes up a phone call, explaining to a tired sounding Shoto that they would be late due to a 'Sudden Surprise'. Luckily, the man had no questions as to what it was. Upon returning to the table, Izuku saw Kyoka glaring at Uraraka, who was simply looking at the table.

Izuku took his seat next to his girlfriend, wrapping his arm around hers, which seemed to make her calm down, if just a little bit. He smiled softly, before looking at his… His ex. "So… What happened?"

Uraraka let out a sigh. "I… His name was Akatani. He was a local of the town I worked in and…" She stops, taking a pause to collect her thoughts. "When I moved, I had intended to stay with you because I thought I would always like you. But, Akatani came into my life and… He pampered me. Everyday it would be this grand gesture, and swooping charm, and he… He made me start to think about how we barely interacted. So, I started going out with him and… And a while later, I sent that letter."

Izuku nods, and Kyoka remains stoic.

"After the winter events, I… I went home and seeked comfort. For a while, I got it, but over time, Akatani started to get… Weird. He'd hide from me, or avoid my calls, and sometimes he'd be gone for days at a time." Uraraka continued, and Izuku realized where this was going. "And then, a couple months ago, he… He…"

"You caught him with one of his sidechicks." Kyoka says bluntly.

Uraraka tears up, lowering her head a little, before raising up her hand, three fingers held up as well.

Izuku and Kyoka's eyes bulged. "T-three?!" Kyoka yelled hushedly, straightening up in her seat.

"He… He just saw me as someone else to add to his 'collection' and… And I almost did." Uraraka tears up further, finally starting to cry. "I packed my things and went to live with my parents. It was… It was hell. They were still upset from me doing what I did, and with all reason, but they still took me in. Then, my dad said that maybe coming back home would be good, but when I got here a week ago, I remembered I did that horrible thing to you and… And…!" She breaks down after this, and the couple can't help but feel at least a little for her.

"What should we do?" Izuku asks, in as quiet a voice as he can, knowing only Kyoka can hear him.

And this… This troubles the woman. Yes, Kyoka is pissed as all hell at Uraraka. She was still complicit in this, she still broke Izuku's heart, all of their hearts. But she also had karma smack her with a baseball bat and gave her the wakeup call of wakeup calls. So, it's a torn situation.

Kyoka finds it hard to forgive cheaters, it's just one of her moral codes. But here Uraraka is, crying and sobbing and just being… Vulnerable. She's lost, and alone, and just needs…

She just needs a friend.

Kyoka lets out a sigh, and reaches across the table to hold one of Uraraka's hands.

"You… You did a bad thing. And it's going to take a long, long, long time and plenty of effort for everyone to forgive you. But… But right now you could use some help, and seeing as we're heroes…" Kyoka says, her tone softening over time. "I think letting you crash on our couch while you get a job and place of your own wouldn't be… Too awful."

Uraraka looks at Kyoka in surprise. "W-wha…?" She manages to blubber out.

"But don't try anything with Izuku, got it? That ship has sailed." Kyoka growls, and Izuku merely lets out a sigh from his weary smile. He leans closer to Kyoka, reassuring her that he's not leaving her anytime soon.

"B-but, the things I did. You all…!"

"Yeah, you did those things. And those things still sit in my heart. I went through a heartbreak that lasted for so long. But, I guess what they say is true." Izuku smiles, as he leans more into Kyoka.

"Time heals all wounds."

Winter

"So, if we allocate the packages like so, I think we'll be able to get the drop on this guy before we charge in." Dynamight speaks, tapping away at the tablet screen the officer held in front of him.

"No, that's too risky. If we plant them here, we might get caught, but at least it'd be safer for any collateral damage. Plus, the snow banks would be able to hide them." Deku responds, swiping up another screen. "And, considering I know how you like your spectacles, you'll be able to get a bigger one with this layout too."

The blonde let out a laugh. "Hah! Guess I'll let you have this one." He looked at the officer. "Go ahead and get that set up!" The man salutes, before running off, with Dynamight returning to his co-worker. "So, how's it going with Ears and Cheeks? I imagine things are still tense."

Deku rubs at his temples. "It's getting better, but it's still a bit irritating. I know we said we'd help her, but it's getting a bit annoying when she keeps giving me longing looks. I just wish she could get a job so I'd stop seeing it."

"Emotions don't die out that easily. But man, wouldn't it be easier if she just had to look at you professionally? Have her work as our receptionist until she proves we can trust her heroics again." The blonde jokes, letting out a chuckle.

Deku raises his head, looking at his friend in surprise.

"What?"

"No." Was the response he got from Kyoka.

"But babe, think about it. We solve the problem of needing a job, and that solves her housing!" Izuku replies.

"Yeah, but between now and then, we would literally be inescapable of her. Plus, if she does a good job, you know we'd have to promote her. We'd be stuck with her." Kyoka responds, crossing her arms.

"I thought you said you wanted to help."

"I do, it's just… You know I get jealous of her." Kyoka says, as she looks away.

"I know, but everything I'll always say the same thing."

Kyoka lets out a sigh, rolling her eyes as she smirks softly. "That though the past happened, you would always want to be here with me in the present."

"And that everyday I'm thankful that I get to spend my day with a woman who was willing to work things out with me."

"You're a sap. But… Fine. We can bring it up to the others."

"Thank you."

Spring

"I'm honestly really nervous." Izuku says, sitting down with Tenya and Shoto as they have lunch together. "I mean, what if she says no? What if she's not ready?"

"Izuku, it's Kyoka. I'm pretty sure if you offered to take her to the moon, she'd say yes." Shoto says, chewing away at his Soba.

"An odd metaphor, but I believe it is suitable. You two are happy, I think this would make her even happier." Tenya adds on, cutting away at a piece of steak.

"I hope you guys are right." Izuku says, looking down at his katsudon.

Meanwhile, a certain brunette listens in.

Izuku walks to his office, where he finds Uraraka leaning against his desk.

"Can I help you?" He asks, the woman looking down. "Uraraka?"

"You're proposing to her, aren't you?" She asks, and Izuku is taken aback. When did she…? "I'll take that as a yes."

"Is there a problem with that?" Izuku asks, his tone getting serious.

"What? No! No no no no no! You guys made it very clear there is nothing happening again anytime soon, and honestly, it's about time I moved anyways. It's just…" She lets out a sigh. "I guess I'm just a little envious. I messed up my chance and I'm not sure I'll ever find someone again."

Izuku let out a relieved sigh. "Well, at least there's no worry anymore. But I'm sure you'll find someone Uraraka, it just takes-."

"Time, I know, I know. Man, what made you get obsessed with time after I left?"

"Well, I just had a lot of it."

The two smile before laughing, before a knock at Izuku's office door alerts him to another person.

"I'm not interrupting anything, am I?" Momo asks, walking inside, and closing the door behind her.

"No, no. We're just having a friendly chat. Been a while after all. What's up?" Izuku asks, as Momo approaches with a folder.

"Well, I was hoping to get your opinion on this rescue initiative. There are some strength enhancers in here, and I thought you could help me choose which one to work with."

"Course not, I'm always happy to help." Izuku smiles, as he takes the folder. "I'll look over it tonight. Oh, while you're here, would you like to see 'it'?"

"You got it in?!" Momo asks in surprise, Izuku covering his mouth with a finger as he hushes her, before nodding. He looks at Uraraka and moves his head, motioning her to lean off the desk, which she does.

He walks over, and lifts up a corner of the piece of furniture, a small hole opening up to reveal a little case. He takes it out, and opens it up.

Momo and Uraraka lean in close to get a look at the contents inside.

"It's gorgeous…" The two say at the same time, before looking at each other in stunned silence. They stay like that for a moment, before starting to giggle.

Izuku chuckles, before putting the box away. "Thanks. I just hope Kyoka likes it."

"She'll love it." The two say again, and then laugh once more.

Izuku smiles, and thinks maybe Uraraka won't have to wait too long.

Summer

The day after Izuku and Kyoka's anniversary, the men and women of the former Class 1-A waited in bated breath as the elevator dinged open. Izuku and Kyoka stepped out in casual wear, holding hands. Slowly they untwined themselves, before raising their hands up with sheepish smiles.

On Kyoka's ring finger was an intricate golden band with a small Emerald implanted in it. Inversely, Izuku's ring finger held a silver band with an Amethyst in it.

"DUAL PROPOSAL!" Eijiro cheers, before the members all begin to yell in excitement.

Izuku quickly covers Kyoka's ears, giving her an apologetic look as he does so, which she returns with a smile, as she fully knows that everyone is going to bombard them both with questions.

"Hey." Uraraka greets, as she steps up to Kyoka. The day had quickly become a small celebratory party, congratulating the happy couple, and so it was no surprise to see the brunette was nursing a cup of punch.

"Hey yourself." Kyoka says, looking at Uraraka. The two fall into an awkward silence before Uraraka suddenly slaps herself in the face, shocking Kyoka. "Woah! The hell was that for?"

"Sorry, I just… I needed to work up the nerve." Uraraka says, before taking a steady breath. She then bows at a ninety degree angle. "I am so incredibly sorry for making you upset and jealous with my presence. What I did in high school was mean to you, and what I did in adulthood was cruel to everyone! I sincerely congratulate both of you for managing to find happiness, and I hope that we can finally become friends again!"

Kyoka looks at her in shock, before shaking her head, a smile on her face. "Pick yourself back up, Ochako, you're embarrassing me and yourself."

Uraraka looks up at her, and tears well in her eyes.

"Oh no, you are not gonna cry on me. I get enough of that from my husband to be. You wanna cry, go cry on Momo. I heard she was looking for you anyway." Kyoka says, before Uraraka stands back up, nods, and walks away.

Izuku steps over, and pulls Kyoka into a one armed hug. The woman lets out a sigh, and Izuku chuckles.

"To think, this all started because of a Dear John." He says, watching as Uraraka, no, Ochako and Momo talk, the ravenette holding a small blush as she talks with the other woman. "Funny how things turn out, huh?"

"Seriously." Kyoka responds, looking up at Izuku. Suddenly, a song begins to play over the office, and the two perk up. "Hey, isn't this…?"

"The song that we started dancing to at the rock club!" Izuku cheers, looking at his bride to be with a large smile. "You thinking what I'm thinking?"

Kyoka lets out a laugh, before smirking at her fiance. "Oh, just shut up and dance with me!"

The two hold onto each and begin to twirl, smiling all the while.

And if Kyoka sees Momo sneak a kiss to Ochako at one point, she doesn't say anything.

The flow of time continues for us all, whether we want it to, or not. There is no telling what the future may bring, but be sure to make it a good one.

For though life is short, it is also so long and grand, and maybe, just maybe…

Watching the seasons pass, isn't so bad.
