Friday Night Bites
Friday Morning 2:30am
Phoebe tossed and turned on her bed. She could not sleep at all after the frightening dream she had. She finally took the blanket off her body forcefully. She lifted up and sat at the edge of her bed with her feet dangling, it was like something was inside of her trying to claw its way out. She touched her chest and felt a sting above her breast. Phoebe felt the sweat from her for head drop on to her thigh, sliding off her leg on to the floor. She was hot and cold at the same time. She gripped the bedsheets as if she was trying to hold on to whatever bit of sanity she had left. She couldn't get those words out her head. It was like it was screaming at her, she couldn't remember much from her dream only one little thing "Their power is built on the sweat of our backs. And everything they got, they got from us. We are more than just pins and dolls" Those words kept surfacing back to her mind but she had no idea who said it, or why it was said. It was becoming all so confusing and frustrating. She closed her eyes to see if she could remember something...anything from the dream. She saw darkness, the woods, and a face she couldn't make of, but she was certain it was a woman.
She finally got up, almost losing her balance. She made it to the bathroom and turned on the light she looked at her self in the mirror and saw how pale she was and how pink and chapped her lips were. Then she saw it. Dark eyes. She blinked and poof just like that it was gone, almost as if it was her imagination. She touched her face. Her fingers where near her eye. She pulled her skin downward making her face look like it was getting pulled. She looked deeper at her eyes but they were her regular greenish brownish eye color. She closed her eyes again but this time for longer. "You will do everything I say." "I will do everything you say" She repeated. "You're my little slave Bennett." He told her. Phoebe opened her eyes as the images in her head flashed within a blink of an eye.Was I compelled? She didn't remember anything from last night other than hanging in the mystic grill parking lot with Vicki and friends under the influence. Then everything after was pure darkness.
Phoebe turned on the cold water and bent over the sink. Her throat was so dry it burned.
She cuffed her hand up to gather the tap water to drink. She closed her eyes again with satisfaction as the cooling sensation hit the back of her throat. In the moment it was like best thing she ever tasted. She was thirsty, she felt it in the pit of her stomach and she wondered. 'Is this normal?' She looked back into the mirror and noticed how the mirror was beginning to fog. Cold water doesn't do that.
"Come on Phoebe!" She impatiently said to herself. "What the hell is wrong with you." Was it her body some how rejecting being in this universe? Was it her being a witch? What the fuck was utterly going on. She thought to herself. She put her hand over the water again and noticed the hot sensation hit her hand almost making her jump. "Was this hot the whole time?" She thought.
Something was wrong with her, truly wrong with her. The fact that she doesn't belong here, She knew it was something more deeper than her being in this universe.
Soon she turned on the shower, and the whole bathroom began to fog. Whatever that was trying to get out was becoming more and more anxious, impatient.
Thirsty.
Hungry.
Phoebe fell to the floor.
A sharp pain developed in her stomach as her skin was on fire but she was freezing at this point.
She crawled to the toilet and soon she felt as if pins and needles come up her throat.
What felt like eternity. She finally didn't feel the need to vomit anymore. She opened her eyes and was horrified by what she saw.
Black blood inside the toilet. Soon after Phoebe passed out.
Flashback
"He broke up with me! I mean he actually broke up with me" Elena said astonished while the tears started to poor from her eyes, as all the girls sat in the gym locker room while Bonnie held Elena's hand.
Phoebe bit her lip and watched as Bonnie comfort her. "Did he say why?" She asked as Caroline rubbed Elena's back.
"He said its not me its him." She cried out.
Caroline shook her head. "What an asshole." She said getting upset.
"Maybe its all the problems thats going on at home." Bonnie said trying to be sympathetic.
Phoebe felt her phone buzz in her pocket and quickly hit the end button.
"We were suppose to go to Boston with his mom, and all of a sudden he breaks up with me...nothing makes sense." Elena said shaking her head.
"Screw him Elena. He doesn't deserve you." Caroline said to her. "You were way too good for him anyways." She added
"Way too good for him" Bonnie agreed.
"What do you think happened Phoebe, you guys are close" Elena asked.
Phoebe looked at Elena's pitiful eyes and felt really bad. She watched how both Bonnie and Caroline looked at her as well and it made her nervous. So she tried her best to keep her composure "I don't know lena, he didn't tell me anything." She lied.
Phoebe phone buzzed again and she sighed. "I gotta take this." She said walking out of the locker room and walked to the bleachers near the football field.
-You have to stop calling me
-I can't Phoebe. I ended things with her.
-I know Matt. You have to fix this. This...this isn't right.
-Baby I love you, I couldn't just stay with her it wasn't right.
-No don't say that you don't know what your saying. You don't love me Matt.
-I do know what I'm saying. My feelings for you is real.
-Matt...
-Turn around
Phoebe turned around and there he stood right there in front of her with his phone to her ear. She could see the tears in his eyes and it broke her. It broke her to know how bad she gotten herself into this mess.
End of Flashback
-2:55am
"Phoebe!" Bonnie yelled out to her sister that was still on the bathroom floor unconscious. She slapped her again, which shocked Phoebe causing her to wake up. "Phoebe...phoebe are you okay?" Bonnie asked.
Phoebe gasped at the feeling of how bad her cheek stung. "Ouch Bonnie" She said holding her face.
"Sorry you were unconscious, I didn't know what else to do. "She said baffled. "What happened to you?" She asked her looking at the toilet seeing black stuff splattered all around it and on the floor.
"I-I don't know" Phoebe said rubbing her head. "I can't remember" She lied.
Bonnie sighed and held her sister in her arms. "Its okay." She assured her.
"Please don't tell anyone about this?" She asked Bonnie.
"What about grams she..." She told her.
"No Bonnie! No one please..." She begged.
Bonnie thought it was odd that she didn't want any help from grams, when just a couple of days ago she was so adamant, but she decided against objecting to her wishes and just nodded.
The Gilberts Residents
Friday Morning 7:30am
"You should have came with us Elena, LA. The sun, the beach, the air. It was beautiful." Miranda said to her daughter as she just returned from her trip. Elena looked at her dresser mirror and began brushing her long brunette hair that resembled her moms.
It showed all over her face how she wasn't interested in anything Miranda was saying.
"Look, why don't you just go away" Elena said not looking at her mother.
"Your still angry with me" Miranda sighed as she walked inside her room. She looked around at how much it changed since she's been gone all summer.
"What gave it away?" She said sarcastically.
"I was on this wonderful spiritual retreat in Santa Barbara" She continued ignoring her daughters smart remarks. "It was about forgiveness and what not" She told her.
Elena scoffed. "Please quit the loving mom act. No one's around." Elena said to her.
"You don't understand yet, your still young Elena and-" Miranda responded.
"And let me guess, it was a mistake and will never happen again" Elena said to her.
Miranda stayed silent
"Miranda, just go back to where you came from okay?" Elena said grabbing all her belongings. "I don't need the pretending, and the faking. Pretending in front of all these people that you and dad care so much and that were some fucking perfect happy family. Its all bullshit and you know it. When are you gonna die and stop ruining my life?" Elena asked her.
Miranda sighs "I'm here. I'm staying. So why don't we make the best of it?"
Elena walked past Miranda inches away from touching her shoulder. She walked out of her room and slammed it in her face. She stormed away and got to the top of the steps. She pulled out her phone and sent everyone a message 'Get together at the Lake house this weekend! Bring bathing suits!'
Mystic Falls High
Phoebe walked over to the bleachers. She decided against going to Mr. Tanners class, she couldn't deal with him and his need to embarrass his students everyday. She felt like he was trying to over compensate for something. Maybe he liked being in charge and in power over his students because maybe at home he gets belittled by his wife. But especially with so much thats been going on with her, she needed a mental break from pretending.
Even though Phoebe was alone she couldn't shake the feeling of someone being right there with her, looking at her or over her. It gave her chills. She knew she was alone. She felt like it was a gloominess lurking. And it felt wicked, but in the same sense, alluring. She should be skeptical. Any other normal person would be. She walked closer to the darkness behind the outside bleachers. Something was drawing her closer to it. She could here whispers in her ear. 'Come closer' it kept saying.
Fog began to appear. 'Was it Damon?'
A caw snapped Phoebe to reality. She didn't understand what made her feel so drawn to go close to the darkness, because in real life she knew she wouldn't dare.
Phoebe cleared her throat and turned away when she herd a bunch of kids who also decided to skip class come to the football field.
She walked from the back to the front and decided to light a cigarette to calm her nerves. She looked over and saw Jeremy with earphones in his ears. She watched as Vicki walked over to him and started to have a heated conversation. She didn't know what to make of it. Were they secretly dating? But whatever it was it really made Jeremy angry.
Phoebe felt a vibrate from her phone. She pulled it out of her butt pocked and saw she got a text from Tyler.
Tyler: This is an MMS Message
Phoebe clicked the message and a picture of Tyler's body popped up on her phone. She could see the need of validation coming from him he send a wink and she smirked. He really did have a nice body. And Phoebe couldn't help the fact that she was attracted to assholes. It probably had a lot to do with her daddy issues.
Phoebe ignored Tyler and kept her focus on Jeremy.
She decided to cheer him up.
She walked over to the front of the bleachers so that he was aware of her presence. She used the gate to put out the cigarette.
She got in position and put her arms in the air with her feet apart. "Ready?!" Phoebe did a ready stance. Jeremy looked down at Phoebe suspiciously. "Okay!" She clasp.
"What are you doing?" He mouthed to her while he noticed she was drawing attention to the both of them and it made him nervous. Yeah he was the local drug dealer of these parts but it didn't give him rank in school. They all still saw him a the shy geeky kid who likes to draw and who's Elena's kid brother. He wasn't into joining any type of school activities, it wasn't his thing, he was more of a loner. Barely had any guy friends, and he really didn't seem much of Phoebe's friend until she got of her coma. She rarely use to pay him any mind. She knew he had a big crush on her back then, she saw it as cute and when it fit her needs, like asking him to do her math home work or carry her books for her to class. He was surprised when she called his phone the day after coming out of her coma to hang out, when she asked for weed. He thought to himself, maybe it was just her using him again, but when she invited him inside, and they talked he noticed a whole different Phoebe. She acted as if she really cared for some reason, and him being a love sick puppy jumped at the chance of any type of attention coming from her.
"Hey! Hey! Its time to fight" She began the cheer doing a High V than low V. She begin to do her own cheer with some of what Elena was teaching her to put on a show for Jermey. It didn't really make Jermey feel at ease of all the attention Phoebe was giving the both of them, it was something he really wasn't use too. But the eyes that were on them kind of vanished when he saw her face, He couldn't help but smile at her.
"Everybody yell red and white!"
"Red and white!" He said rolling his eyes with a smile.
"Hey! Hey! Lets do it again"
"Everybody yell GO FIGHT WIN!"
"Go fight win!" She herd some of the students who were skipping class say along with Jeremy.
"I can't here you Timberwolves!" She teased.
"Hey Hey Its time to fight! Everybody yell Red and white!" She said repeating the cheer.
Jeremy then put his hands on the side of his mouth and yelled. "Red and White!"
He chuckled.
"Hey Hey lets do it again everybody yell GO FIGHT WIN!"
"Go fight win!" They all yelled before cheering and clapping for Phoebe's performance.
She walked up the bleachers over to Jeremy and sat down next to him while not noticing a pissed off Vicki staring at them.
"Whats got you so chipper today?" Jeremy asked.
"I don't know" She shrugged. "Maybe I don't like seeing you upset." She told him.
"Oh really?" Jeremy said smiling a little. "You must've seen that little spat between me and Vicki." He said to her.
"Yeah what was that about?" Phoebe asked him while pulling out another cigarette.
"It was...It was nothing." Jeremy shrugged it off.
Phoebe could tell Jeremy didn't want to say much about it so she let it go and didn't try to pry more into it. She lit her cigarette and took a drag out of it. Jeremy furrowed his brows. "Since when did you start smoking cigarettes?"
"Just a little habit I picked up after the accident" She told him. "It helps with my nerves." She told him.
Jeremy watched as Phoebe stared at the clouds "You know when I was kid,...my mom would take me and Elena to the park, she would say, if you swung high enough we would kick the clouds with a toe" Jeremy said to her.
Phoebe looked at Jeremy and laughed. "Did you believe her?"
"Until I was like 12" Jeremy admitted causing both of them to chuckle.
"You and your mom close?" She asked him.
"Yeah...honestly...I don't know what I'd do without her." He told her.
Phoebe nodded. "Wish I could relate." She told him.
"Sorry."
"For what?" She asked him.
"I don't know, I guess for everything..." He said to her.
Phoebe she stared into the clouds looking at the blue sky. It was quiet for a while. She thought to her self, it was fun playing this pretend life, being in this world where she had friends and was actually in a school activity and gave a fuck about it. Or a father in her life that actually cared about her. And no matter how great it was for her being here? She still felt sad, empty, and alone. Because that was who she was in the real world.
She thought someone like her doesn't deserve to have these people around her, caring about her, loving her. Because she knew the real her wasn't shit and this new her, is just pretending. "What you thinking about?" Jeremy said staring longingly at her.
"You know Jer..." Phoebe took a deep breath. "Once upon a time...there was a girl made of dirt." She started to say to him while still staring at the nothing. "Everyone around her knew she was made of dirt and made her feel like nothing. Like she didn't exist...and all she wanted to do was matter. To be accepted. To fly...But the emptiness around her was suffocating. Like her lungs were collapsing from the growing pressure of the walls closing on her. " She took another drag out of her cigarette "And she would scream to the top of her lungs, please let me arise and open the gate, to breathe. See me...here me...save me..."
"Was she ever saved?" Jeremy asked her.
"Nah, they just opened the jar and kept pouring more water until she drowned." She told him. She gave him a weak smile.
"Phoebe..."
"It was just a story Jer. Don't get your panties in a twist." Phoebe chuckled a little.
"Phoebe..." Jeremy said again. "I could never see you as dirt." He told her honestly.
Phoebe looked at Jeremy and she could see something in his eyes. Jeremy took something out of his bag. "Hey, I got you something." He told her.
"What is it?" She asked.
"Close your eyes." He told her.
Phoebe rolled her eyes and closed them. "It better be diamonds" She told him.
"Something better." He told her. "Hold your hand out."
Phoebe did what she was told and held her hand out. And soon she felt something lightweight and thin like a feather hit her hand.
She then opened her eyes. Image
She saw a drawing of her in Jeremy's image. It was beautiful. The way he captured her. She never knew how talented he really was. "Jer this is beautiful."
"You like it?"
"I love it" She told him honestly.
Jermey smiled a little. He watched as she held the drawing in her hand and then looked back up at him. She didn't know whether her true feelings matched her words. She said she loved it but her face looked really skeptical.
"Jer.." She started off saying. "I really like you but..."
"Dont..." Jeremy said before she could finish. He knew where she was getting at, and he wasn't going to sit any listen The look on his face made her feel really bad. The hole point of her talking to him was to cheer him up and now she felt like she just made everything worse. He got up and walked away from her. Before she could stop him it was too late. Phoebe didn't know if she was sending him the wrong signals because it all actuality she really did like Jeremy, he was a nice guy, but he didn't need a girlfriend like her, someone so screwed up in the head, he needed someone better, someone that was nice, and pure, and that was going to love him the same way he love. Jeremy was the nice guy, and Phoebe didn't want to hurt him.
She got up off the bench and wiped her butt off feeling like was stuck against her skin from sitting there too long. She cleared her throat. And tried to act as if nothing just happened. She saw that damn bird again on the gate just looking at her. She glared at the bird and shooed it. She hated birds they were weird and bothersome. Especially crows.
Later that day
It was cheerleading practice and Bonnie was in the back with her arms crossed not understanding what was going on with her sister, one minute she was on the floor, what looked like fighting for her life and the next she was acting like nothing happened.
"Hey Bon, whats going on?" Elena asked Bonnie as she noticed her being really silent. 'I hope its still not the whole thing with Stefan, Bon you were the one to tell me to give him a chance and..."
"Its Phoebe...something weird is going on with her..." Bonnie interrupted.
"How weird..." Elena asked concerned.
"Promise you wont say anything." Bonnie pleaded.
Elena gave her a look. "Really Bon. Of course I wont." She said before taking a slip of her water bottle.
"I saw Phoebe on the bathroom floor, practically dead this morning. And now look at her" Bonnie said while they both turn there heads to Phoebe at the same time.
"What do you mean practically dead?"
"I mean on the floor pale. No heart beat dead Elena" Bonnie said to her.
"Okay, now your freaking me out..."
"That not even the scary part. Elena...there was black blood all over the toilet...then she begged me not to say anything."
"Well your doing an awesome job of that Bonbon" Elena commented.
"Elena, Seriously, I'm not joking...not even the slightest." She told her.
Elena sighed. "Bon Phoebe was in a really serious car accident and It effected not only her but you and Mr, Rudy and..."
"What are you trying to say? That I'm imaging all this?"
"I don't know." She replied. "But like you said. See look at her. Does it look like something is really wrong with Phoebe Bonnie?" Elena said still eying Phoebe.
Bonnie shook her head. "Fine...maybe your right." She said to her with her hand on her hip.
"So what are you wearing tonight?" Elena said changing the subject.
"This" She said tugging on her jogging pants. " I have to make my way to grams after practice."
"No you cant!" Elena protested.
"Why not?"
"The Lake house party tonight. You have to come." Elena complained.
"Tonights no good for me Elena..." She protested.
"Bonnieee" Elena said whining. "I need you...I have major parental drama at my house and I need a major detracting."
"Miranda's back?" Bonnie said coming to a realization. "Why didn't you say anything?" Bonnie said concerning.
"Because I thought if I mentioned party, you'd automatically want to come, come on Bonnie..." Elena said giving her puppy dog eyes.
Bonnie sighed about to tell her no, but Elena doe eyes made her cave in "Fine...I'll come."
"Guys!" Phoebe said motioning them to come over.
Elena walked over with Bonnie following behind. "So if you haven't noticed I've been hanging with Vicki again." She started off by saying.
"Phoebe..." Bonnie said concerned.
"I know how you guys feel about her, you don't like her. But she lost her brother and she doesn't have anybody..."
Bonnie looked at Phoebe sympathetically.
"Fine she can come to the Lake house too" Elena said rolling her eyes, already knowing what Phoebe was going to ask her.
"Yay!" She said clapping her hands. "Oh and has anyone seen Caroline?"
"Speaking of the devil" Elena said while a cheerful Caroline finally came to practice.
"Sorry guys I'm late. I was talking to Principle Hawks."Caroline announced. "We're getting a new cheer coach this year!" Caroline cheered
Vicki's house
8:00pm
"You know we can just blow it off and watch scary movies all night..." Phoebe said as she laid across Vicki's twin bed with her head hanging upside downwards. She was not in no mood to go to a party. But from the looks of it, She seemed totally into it. She had a whole bunch of sleazy tops spread across the floor trying to figure out which one shows off the most skin and Phoebe was having seconded thoughts.
"Okay whats going on with you, one minute you were all psyched about the party and the next you want to just watch movies and chill? Boring!" Vicki commented.
Phoebe chuckled a little but her face immediately went back to seriousness.
"Nothing. I'm just not in the mood to be around teenage boys with raging hormones." Phoebe said sighing. She lifted up on the bed and took out one of her permitted black markers out of her tan bag and began to doodle on her wrist.
Vicki rolled her eyes and put her hand on her hips. She opened her mouth to say something but was completely interrupted by her mom at the door way. "Hey you too"
Phoebe lifted her head up. She looked at Vicki's mom and she looked really bad. Vicki's mom wiped her nose and sniffled a little. She crossed her arms while her thin hoodie covered her arms, but was half way off her shoulders. Her dark brunette hair looked dull and lifeless and her eyes were dark and raccoon like. Her skin was pale like and she looked really rough.
Vicki was really annoyed. "What is it mom?" Vicki asked while still trying to figure out what outfit she was wearing for tonight.
"Going some where?" She asked the too of them. Her voice was raspy.
"Yes, today's my day off from work." Vicki told her.
"I thought you'd be working 40 hours this week Vic. The light bill is due on the 30th."
Vicki sighed in annoyance and threw her head back dramatically. "They couldn't give me extra hours anymore after they hired that new kid. I already tried." She told her.
Kelly tried her best to keep her composer and not get angry in front of company.
"Vicki, try harder sweetie. You know how much we need that money. Okay."
"Mom!" Vicki said getting annoyed. "Can we talk about this later?" Vicki asked her.
Kelly looked over at Phoebe. "Of course." She said while smiling. "Going to a party huh? " Kelly said to her. Phoebe didn't know what to say. She looked at Vicki and then back at Kelly. "I remember when I was a teenager...wish I could go back and smack myself into some sense. When I was young all I wanted to do was hang out with friends, party, smoke weed, listen to music that drove my mother insane" She chuckled.
Phoebe smiled a little.
"What I should've done was finish school, and save my money, to get out of this raggedy hell whole. Sometimes I wish If I hadn't-"
"Hadn't what? ...Mom" Vicki said looking at her mom from the door frame. "Had me?" Vicki questioned her.
"You were the best part of me Vic you know that." Kelly said trying to reassure her daughter.
Vicki rolled her eyes.
Kelly continued to linger in at the doorway.
And Phoebe could feel the awkwardness.
"Mom." Vicki said.
"Vic..." Kelly cleared her throat. "I need some money...for gas..." Kelly told her daughter.
The look on Vicki's face made Phoebe sense, something was wrong. She could tell Vicki did not want to give her mom anything. She watched as Vicki pulled out a twenty dollar bill out of her bra and give it to her mom, she whispered something in her hear and it made Kelly's smile disappear from her face.
"Thank you my sweet baby" Kelly said before kissing Vicki on her head and walking out.
Phoebe didn't no whether to say something or not, she didn't know if it was her place. So she kept silent.
Vicki took a bunch of money out of her bra and Phoebe eyes widen. Her eyes followed her to her mattress and Vicki lifted it partially, she pulled out a little box. Phoebe was shocked to see how much money Vicki had inside of it. "Vicki, thats a shit load of money." Phoebe commented.
"Yeah, I started saving when you started planning" Vicki told her.
"You mean that plan to get out of dodge?" Phoebe asked her.
"My mom's a junkie Phoebe. You saw her." Vicki said to Phoebe. "You see my circumstances. Barely any food in the fridge. I'm hiding from the landlord every first of the month, and If I stay here any longer? I wont have any money left at the rate my mom's going." She told her honestly.
"She said she'd stop...and for a while...she did, but after Matt's death...she took it hard and now she had a 20 a day habit...its gotten worst." The butterfly affect, it wasn't Vicki who was on drugs, it was her mom. And now Phoebe felt guilty because she knew she effected the story line by being here. And by Matt dying; now she had to deal with her mom on drugs. It was fucked up, but she now understood why Vicki was tempted to stand in front of that train. She didn't have much to live for after Matt's all those doubts about not going to the party vanished. She knew Vicki needed this out more than she did.
Lake House
9:57pm
Phoebe looked at herself in the mirror staring at her outfit in the upstairs bathroom; looking at her revealing outfit and thought to herself that this was a real statement. Wearing a white bra and boyfriend jeans with rips at the bottom, and with her fishnet stockings underneath. this was what she wore in the real world, kind of a 90s look but more modern, and really not something people in this year wore. She pulled it off well.
Elena really knew how to throw a party, with the jello shots, the food and snacks and party games, her parents cabinets was full of expensive liquor. She really made sure there was something for everyone to do. She tried to get herself in the mood to want to party tonight and get shit-faced. But even though she looked the part. On the inside she really didn't want to be here around so many people. It really gave her anxiety, to be around a lot of people she didn't know, that she felt forced to mingle with and be around stupid drunk teenage boys.
Phoebe herd a knock on the door that stopped her in her daze. "Coome on man I reaaaaly got to pee!" She herd some kid say.
She finally opened the door "Its all yours." She said walking past the desperate kid.
She walked back into the room with Elena, Care, and Bonnie still rating each others outfits, and telling each other what was a go and what was a no. Phoebe got all of there attention when she came to the door way. All of them shocked.
"Wow Phoebe you look..." Elena started off saying.
"So hot!" Caroline squealed causing Phoebe to smile.
"Really? You like it?" She asked them while standing shyly in the doorway.
"We love it." Bonnie told her.
"Where did this Phoebe come from? I'm really starting to like this one better" Caroline said
Phoebe giggled. "You sure you want to wear that Phoebs, I mean its so not you i mean... not what you'd normally where" Elena said to her.
Phoebe shrugged. "It feels more like me." She replied.
"In that case, lets take a shot" Caroline said grabbing the bottle of Vodka. "I snuck this out of my moms cabinet"
"Caroline you know my parents have a cabinet full of alcohol down stairs."
"Yes, brown alcohol. I rather light tonight, you know what brown does to me and we don't want another episode of last years cheer camp happening again now do we?"
"I don't know it may be a sight to see" Bonnie teased.
"What happened last year at cheer camp." Phoebe asked the girls
"Nothing just Caroline fl-
"And here are you guys shots." Caroline said changing the subject quickly.
Phoebe grabbed the pink shot from Carolines hand and giggled. Phoebe felt her phone vibrate and saw Vicki's name come up serval times asking her where she was.
"Okay, now Cheers" Caroline said. "To the new Phoebe" She squealed Phoebe put her phone in her back pocket and
All of the girls put there shots in the air and then tossed them to the back of there throats.
"Woo! Okay lets go!" Elena said taking the lead as the girls follow her downstairs to the party.
Moments later
Phoebe felt Vicki pulling her arm. "Where have you been?" She asked her. "God I thought if I had to wait any longer Id have to make out with Steve." Vicki said playfully pinching her side "Wheres your clothes slut?" Vicki asked as it was taking her very long to put on what it look like nothing on.
"On. Hoe." Phoebe replied back.
"What we drinking on tonight?" Vicki said walking to the kitchen. Where you had horny teens on the counter making out and others at the table rolling weed. The kitchen was clouded with smoke. And people randomly having conversations about whatever. Phoebe just wanted to drink until those thoughts in her head went away.
She lifted up on her Tipy toes and grabbed a bottle. "We're drinking brandy tonight" She told her.
"Or we can drink Brandy, Henny, Jack and Bourbon tonight" She told her.
"Sounds like a stomach ache." She herd someone say behind her. Phoebe looked up and her eyes met the one and only Damon. Her stomach dropped. The intensity in his eyes when he looked at her made her nervous. The way his mouth curved into a smirk, and the way he carried himself as if it was his world and we were just living in it. Phoebe couldn't help but feel the intimidation. He knew what he was doing, and she knew it too and while he stared down at her, invading her personal space. All she could think about was how did he finagle his way into get invited inside Elena's parents cabin. "Who invited you?" Phoebe asked.
Damon smirked. "Well hello to you too."
Phoebe continued to look at Damon, but then confusion sparked and soon her head began to ache intensely. Flashes of what happened last night came to fruition. "You're my little slave Bennett." He compelled her. Phoebe began to remember. She remembered everything he did to her last night, and calling her his little slave? It pissed her off. He had some fucking nerve, but then again so did she, she knew that she was playing with fire, and sometimes when you do, you can get a little burnt. It wasn't smart at all coming up to him letting him know that she knew about him being a vampire and killing all those people. It wasn't smart to threaten him either. Not this Damon, this Damon was a little ruthless and reckless. As soon as she thought she had something under control, her witch power and her knowing the future giving her the confidence to step to a vampire that can easily kill her with no remorse. She remembered how he was with Bonnie. And now she was starting to feel regretful, because he was able to get into her mind, and that was really dangerous. Then here comes the big question, how in the hell was Damon able to compel me, and how in the hell was I able to remember. She thought to herself.
"Phoebe are you okay?" Vicki asked concerned.
Phoebe cleared her throat. "I'll be perfectly fine, if Damon here remove himself from my presence." Phoebe said to him. 'Be strong, and don't show an ounce of weakness' She thought to herself.
"Ouch." Damon said holding his chest where his heart is, being very dramatic.
"Don't you have better things to be doing than being at some teenage party." Phoebe asked him.
"What could be better than this?" Damon asked her before whispering in her ear. "So many people to eat..."
"You coming here was a stupid Damon."
"Well you know what they say about stupid choices...there always the most fun." He smirked.
"We had a deal" She said to him in a whisper.
"Don't trust me?" He asked innocently.
"Why would I trust you?" Phoebe asked him. "You compelled me.." She told him letting him know that she knew what he did to her. The look on Damon's face was priceless, and now she knew she had the upper hand. She stepped closer to him to the point where they were inches away from each other. "You think your clever don't you?" She asked him. He looked down at her lips and then back to her eyes.
"Some would say." He replied.
"Want to know what I say?" She asked him.
"No, but I have a feeling your about to tell me." He tilted his head to the side.
"Game on Salvatore." She told him.
They both stayed like that for a moment. The intensity between the two didn't go unnoticed by Vicki, she couldn't here what they were talking about but it looked like they were seconds away from ripping each others clothes off. Phoebe wasn't going to back down from him, if she showed weakness than he'd have the upper hand. She didn't know what was going through that head of his but she knew it was nothing good. But if he was going to screw with her mind and try to make her his little 'slave' she wasn't going to let that slide, she had to let him know she was a force to he reckoned with. And by him being a vampire, if he smelled just an inch of nervousness or her being afraid, he won. He'd have the power over her. Phoebe wasn't going to give him that satisfaction. She stared deeply at him with anger and thoughts of wanting to hurt him help surfacing in her brain. Damon was holding his head grunting in pain. Phoebe didn't know it at first but she was popping all the cells in his head over and over again. She soon stopped because she didn't want to cause a seen.
Damon held on to his head not understand what the hell just happened. He grabbed Phoebe wrist and smoothly pulled her close to him "What the hell was that?" He asked her. His tone was deadly, but she could tell she sparked a bit of fear in him.
"I warned you Damon." She told him.
Damon looked around at how many people there were and what he really wanted to do to her right now was not the place nor the time so. He gave a smile, and he let her wrist go after hold on tightly a little longer.
"Cute little Bennett." He said before walking away.
Vicki grabbed Phoebe's arm and gave her a look. "What?" Phoebe asked her.
"No not me what, you what." She said to her.
"What?" Phoebe said again.
Vicki shook her head. "Are you fucking that delicious piece of ass and didn't tell me?" Vicki asked her.
Phoebe rolled her eyes. "Hell no, and don't even think about it Vicki, he's dangerous." Phoebe warned her.
Vicki sighed. "Whatever are we drinking or not?" She said holding the bottle of Courvoisier XO Cognac.
