I simply like Harem pairings because when I read or write stories, I cannot find one certain character to choose over the others, as they all have thier quirks and flaws, so to make up for that and for more closure for myself, I go with Harem, where I can choose the girls at a unique pace and limit myself once I feel like I have reached a good limit. While I do enjoy a good OC story, it needs to be a really likeable character for me to continue reading the story, self-inserts I will stay away from, as people tend to make themselves overpowered beyond belief and near unstoppable or even unbeatable. I like OC stories with OC's that gain strength over time and have a mysterious backstory that leaves us guessing at what it is. While I WILL NOT read Yaoi books. I WILL read Yuri books and Futa books, I don't know why, but those appeal more to me than simple boy x boy books. |
