Chapter 5: His Name is Glaive

Glaive slashes at Kouji and his friends one at a time, which they manage to dodge his attacks in time as they move away from him.

"Stop it! Just why are you doing this?!" Kouji asked.

"I told you before that all I want is the Class Cards you possess." Glaive said as he pointed his sword at them. "So either you hand them over to me, or we do this the hard way!"

Luvia answered by throwing her jewels at Glaive which exploded in front of him.

"How's that for an answer?" Luvia asked as she flicked her hair and huffed.

"Luvia, what were you thinking? Someone could've heard that." Jeanne told her.

"Oh relax. If in fact you should be thanking me, I've gotten rid of our…" Luvia said before someone tapped on her shoulder. "Wha-" Luvia turns around and sees Glaive was unharmed by her attack as he slaps her away as she falls on the ground and a few feet away from Glaive.

"Luvia." Miyu said in worry as she ran to check on her.

Glaive then glares at Kouji and the others.

"And here I was hoping we would do this more peacefully. But it looks like we're doing this the hard way!" Glaive said as he charges at them and attacks with his sword, which they dodge in time.

"Alright fine, if that's how you want to play it." Kouji said as he and Shinichi brought out their Buckles and Rouze Cards.

The two Riders inserted the Cards into their Buckles and placed them on their waists.

"Henshin!" Both Kouji and Shinichi said as they flipped their Buckles.

[TURN UP]

Kouji and Shinichi transform into Blade and Garren respectively.

Blade soon drew out his Rouzer and he and Glaive charged at each other and clashed their swords in a bladed lock as sparkes appeared between them.

The song starts with colored lights shining in a dark room, revealing Kamen Rider Blade, Garren, and Chalice who were kneeling before they stood up.

The setting soon moves into a similar place and all the main characters of the story so far are standing on separate platforms with black suits.

(Tatta hitorikiri kimi no sonzai ga) (The camera zooms in on a few of the characters before zooming in on Kouji Kenzaki, who took a bite out of an apple he was holding and smiled. Then it moves to Shinichi Tachibana who was kicking a soccer ball around.)

(Itsuka sekai no subete kaeru darou) (Then it moved to Illya who was spinning around with Ruby flying around her. Then we see Miyu waving her hand as Sapphire flies onto her shoulder. We then see Luvia doing her laugh which annoys Rin as she growls at her, which made Jeanne sigh seeing those two bicker. Then moves to Shirou doing a spin kick as he lands on his knee and foot before he raises his head up.)

(Koko ni aru mo no wa kibou? Zetsubou?) (We soon see Blade, Garren, and Chalice driving their bikes through a beach. We soon see Illya and Miyu wearing their magical girl outfits flying in the sky.)

(Round Zero hajimatteru) (We soon moved back to the Riders room where Blade, Garren, and Chalice were not far from each other and were next to their bikes, before they started practicing their weapons.)

(Shiranai to iu tsumi to shirisugiru wana) (The three continue practicing their weapons while we move to Illya and Miya doing the same using their Include weapons.)

(Ugokenaku naru mae ni ugokidasou) (We then move back towards Blade, Garren, and Chalice riding through the beach. Then it moves back to Chalice in the room practicing his weapon.)

(Kaze ni mekurareta Card) (The three Riders practice their weapons while posing. Blade was swinging his Blay Rouzer, Garren aiming his Garren Rouzer, and Chalice was swinging and spinning with his Chalice Arrow.)

(Uranau you ni warau. Mayowanai hazu mo nai sore demo ashita wo sagase) (We move to Albino Joker swinging in a separate room swinging his scythe around before he changes into the Kamen Rider Glaive practicing with his Glaive Rouzer as he swings it around.)

(Mekurumeku unmei. Koware sou na jidai ni.) (We then move back to Blade swinging his Rouzer upward. Then it changes to Blade, Garren, and Chalice riding down the beach.)

(Kirifuda wa kimi no naka togisumasareta yuuki ni shite BLADE BRAVE!) (Blade stops swinging his sword for a brief moment as he lowers his Rouzer and stands up, before the logo appears as Garren and Chalice walk next to him.)

As Blade and Glaive swords were still locked against each other, Garren used that chance to fire at Glaive with his gun.

Glaive saw this as he pushed Blade's sword back and kicked him on the chest forcing the Rider to stumble, and Glaive soon deflected Garren's gunfire with his sword.

Glaive then blocks another slash from Blade before the two clashed blades several times while dodging a few slashes before two clashed their swords in a bladed lock.

"Not bad. But I was expecting more from you two." Glaive stated.

"Just who are you? How did you get that belt?" Blade asked.

"No, no, no. Afraid I can't reveal that just yet!" Glaive stated as he pushed Blade back and kicked at him and Blade dodged it by spinning back.

Glaive was about to charge at Blade to attack him once again, but stops as he dodges two energy shots. Glaive looked and saw that his attackers were Illya and Miyu as Rin, Jeanne, and a now standing Luvia were standing beside them.

Glaive huffed in annoyance as he lowered his sword.

"And here I was hoping you girls would stay out of this." Glaive said.

"And what let you take my Class Cards? And let you get away from slapping my beautiful face? Never!" Luvia said.

"I think you mean my Class Cards!" Rin said in annoyance.

"Both of you stop it! Now is not the time for this!" Jeanne exclaimed and Rin and Luvia flinched.

"I mostly don't like the idea of fighting a person, but I'm not going to stand by and let you hurt my friends." Illya said.

"Well said, Illya-san!" Ruby cheered for her master.

"I agree with her." Miyu nodded.

Blade and Garren moved to their friends as they faced Glaive together.

"Just give up, you're outnumbered." Garren stated as he pointed his gun at Glaive.

Glaive chuckles before he says this.

"Oh am I now?"

That is when several creatures emerge from the river behind Glaive as they fly out and land beside the Ace Rider.

They are mostly colored white with red long fingers, and have insect-like wings on their backs, and red eyes and their heads resemble an insect's, and have metal spikes on their arms and legs.

These are the Albiroachies.

Seeing the roachies surprised the Riders and their friends.

"What the...What are those things?" Rin asked.

"They...They look Undeads, but yet they're different somehow." Garren said.

Glaive flick his hand as he pointed his finger at the Riders and their friends.

"Go." Glaive ordered and the Albiroachies charged towards them.

"No way! He can control those things?!" Blade said in shock before he and the others began to battle the Albiroachies.

Blade dodges two attacks from two of the Roachies and slashes on those two sending them to the ground before they disintegrate as a green light appears around their bodies before they dissolve to their bones before those bones dissolved as well. Seeing that surprised Blade.

"Well, that's both new and disturbing. At least these things aren't the usual Undead." Blade said before he dodges an incoming attack from another Albiroachi and slashes it on the chest before he runs to the side as others chase after him.

Garren punches one Albiroachi in the face and kicks another one behind him on the chest, sending both of them to the ground.

Garren then saw three more Albiroachies flying towards him to attack, and Garren dodged their attacks by rolling on the ground and as he stopped on his back he drew out his gun and fired at the airborne Roachies shooting them down as they fell to the ground and dissolved.

As Garren stood back up he set his eyes on Glaive as he stood by and watched as the Albiroachies continued to battle him and the others.

"Just what is going on? Having that belt was surprising enough, but how is he able to control these things?" Garren said before he dodges an incoming attack from an Albiroachi and fires in front of it as it stumbles back and dissolves.

Jeanne stood still as a group of Albiroachies was charging at her, and Jeanne soon claps her hands and slammed them to the ground and soon changes the ground beneath the Roachies into large earth spikes which pierce through their bodies before they dissolve.

Jeanne soon removes her hands from the ground as she flicks her hand on her hair.

"Please, like you, vile creatures were an actual match for me." Jeanne said as she placed a hand on her hip.

Rin was seen dodging several attacks from the Albiroachies before she accidentally bumps behind Luvia as she dodges an attack from a Roachi herself, before they turn at each other.

"What are you doing?!" Rin asked.

"I should be the one saying that?!" Luvia stated before they saw some of the Albiroachies had surrounded them. "But it appears now is not the time for it."

"As much as I hate to say it, you're right. Best to deal with these things now, and settle this later." Rin said as she and Luvia brought out several jewels in their hands.

The Albiroachies charge all around them, and Rin and Luvia throw their jewels at them which creates an explosion of fire at them which consumes and destroys the Roachies as they turn to ash.

"Hmph...I suppose you did well for a dog." Luvia told her.

"I could say the same about you." Rin stated before they huffed and turned away from each other.

Illya was running from the Albiroachies at a fast pace and with tears forming on her eyes but the Roachies were able to keep up with her.

"Moi! At least fight me one on one!" Illya said before she dodges an attack from a Roachie as she ducks under it.

Illya then fires a magical bullet at the Roachie in front of her as it pierce through its chest before it dissolves and falls to the ground, which really disturbed Illya as she turns a little green.

"Illya-san! Watch out!" Ruby told her master, and Illya soon saw three Albiroachies charging at her on three sides to attack, but Illya dodged their attacks by flying up in the air as the three Roachies bumped into each other and fell to the ground.

"How do you like that?!" Illya asked as she looked down at the Albiroachies before they brought out their wings and flew at Illya. "Oh no...I forgot they could fly too!"

Illya falls around in the air as the Albiroachies chase after her as she avoids their attacks and Miyu comes to her aid as she jumps into the air.

"Sapphire!" Miyu said.

"Hai, Miyu-sama!" Sapphire said as Miyu stops behind Illya as she stops flying as Miyu fired several magical bullets at the Albiroachies destroying as they exploded.

"Miyu...You're…" Illya said before she looked down and saw that Miyu was standing on a magical platform which looked like she was standing on water as it looked like puddle waves.

"Oh I see what she's doing. She's channeling her magic power beneath her feet to make a platform on air, I suppose it would make a decent substitute for flying." Ruby said.

"Ruby, you didn't have to say it like that." Illya told her partner.

"No, it's alright. It's the best I could manage for a short amount of practice." Miyu told her.

"Miyu-san…" Illya mutters.

"But, I think we should change targets." Miyu said as she set her eyes on Glaive as he stood back and watched as Blade, Garren, Jeanne, Rin, and Luvia were still fighting the Albiroachies. "Since he's controlling these creatures, if we defeat him it should make them fall back."

"What? Miyu-san, you can't be serious? He's a human." Illya said.

"It doesn't matter. He made his intentions clear, that he wanted to take the Class Cards by force, that makes him an enemy regardless." Miyu said as she jumped down to the ground.

"Miyu-san…" Illya said as she was a little worried.

Glaive continues to enjoy the show as his Albiroachies continue to fight against the Riders and his friends.

"Man...makes me wish I had some popcorn." Glaive said before he notices a magical bullet heading straight towards him before he uses his sword to cut it in half.

Glaive then saw that his would-be-attacker was Miyu as she was standing on the ground and faced Glaive.

"That was a cheap trick. Trying to attack me while I wasn't looking. Didn't your parents teach you any manners?" Glaive asked as he faced Miyu.

"Sorry, but I don't show any manners to my enemies. Especially since you made your intent very clear." Miyu said as she brought out the Lancer Card.

Glaive chuckles and soon points his sword at Miyu.

"Alright, I was getting tired of just watching. But don't think I'll go easy on you just because you're a kid." Glaive told her as Miyu soon placed the Class Card on Sapphire.

"Lancer, Include!" Miyu shouted as Sapphire absorbed the Card and the Kaleidostick soon changed into the red spear and assumed her stance with it.

As Blade cuts down an Albiroachie and Garren shoots down three of them they soon see Miyu standing in front of Glaive ready to fight him.

"Miyu-chan…" Blade said in worry as Luvia notices that as well.

"Go, Miyu! Take that brute down, and get my Cards back!" Luvia told her.

"They're my Cards dammit!" Rin shouted at her as Luvia ignored her.

"What did I just say about that?!" Jeanne shouted at them which made both Rin and Luvia flinch before Jeanne sighed. "I swear you two…"

Miyu charges forward and thrust her spear at Glaive several times but Glaive was able to parry and dodge her attacks and soon slashes at her, and Miyu was able to dodge his sword by jumping over it and was about to thrust her spear above him but then Glaive catches the spear in hand, holding Miyu in place.

Glaive then spun Miyu around a few times before he throws her in the air, but Miyu was able to recover and lands on her platform and jumps at Glaive to attack him with her spear but Glaive dodges it by jumping away as Miyu's spear stabs into the ground.

Miyu pulls her spear out of the ground as Glaive slashes at her and Miyu blocks it in time but is sent flying before she lands on her feet and assumes her stance. Glaive laughs in amusement.

"Not bad. Guess it's about time I end our little warm up." Glaive stated, which surprised Miyu and the others.

"Warm up?" Miyu said in confusion.

"He wasn't taking this seriously?" Garren said before he dodges an attack from an Albiroachie and punches it on the head.

Glaive then opens his Rouzer's Open Tray and pulls out a Rouse Card.

The Card had a picture of a black dog with metal head parts as it shot out a ball of energy from its mouth, and had the word 'MIGHTY' beside the picture and the words 'Mighty Gravity' on the bottom.

Seeing that Card surprised the Riders and their friends.

"He has another Card?" Blade said before he dodges a Roachie's attack and slashes on it.

"Wait...something's off about it. It looks different compared to ours." Garren said.

The others then saw that he was right, as the Card in Glaive's hand locks the usual symbol and number that Blade and Garren's Cards usually have.

Glaive then scans the Card on his Rouzer.

[MIGHTY]

The Card's energy was absorbed into Glaive's sword and he soon charges at Miyu and swings at her as she attempts to block it with her spear, but to her shock Glaive was able to cut through it as it severed into two pieces before Glaive kicks her hard on the stomach which sends her rolling and crashing on the ground.

"Miyu!" Everyone shouted in worry as Miyu was lying on the ground and was coughing as Sapphire returned to her base form as she looked at her master in concern.

"Miyu-sama! Are you alright?" Sapphire said in worry as Miyu was able to stand up using her hands and knees.

"I-I'll be fine…" Miyu mutters as she raises her head and her eyes widened to see Glaive standing in front of her as he looks down at her.

"Like I told you, I wasn't going to go easy on you just because you're a kid." Glaive said as he raised his sword to finish Miyu with it and as he swung it down at her, Miyu closed her eyes to brace herself.

"Miyu!" Illya shouted as she came to her aid as she flew towards her and pushed Miyu away from Glaive's attack as his sword smashed into the ground below.

"Illyasviel?" Miyu said as she and Illya sat up.

"Are you okay? You're not hurt are you?" Illya asked, and Miyu answered by nodding. "That's a relief."

Illya then felt a sharp pain on her arm and saw that there was a small but a deep cut on her arm as it bled a little. Illya's eyes widened in shock to see it, which Miyu noticed.

'She must have gotten it when she rushed in to save me.' Miyu thought as she imagined Glaive's sword grazing Illya's arm, and noticed the frightened look on Illya's face. 'This isn't good. She's losing the will to fight.'

Glaive pulls his sword out of the ground as he sets his sights on Miyu and Illya as the latter flinches.

"Honestly, now why did you have to do that? I was going to enjoy killing you all one at a time, but you just have to interrupt me." Glaive said as he walked to Illya and Miyu.

"Illyasviel!" Miyu said as she stood up.

"R-Right!" Illya said as she stood up and both girls fired at Glaive with magical shots, but Glaive was able to deflect their shots with his sword as he kept on walking.

Illya was frightened by this as Miyu grits her teeth, before Blade and Garren move in front of Glaive's path to protect them as Glaive stops walking.

"Oh…" Glaive said as he looked and saw that all of his Albiroachies were defeated. "So you were able to defeat them all. How impressive."

"I would like to know how you were able to control those things, but you pretty much made yourself clear that you won't answer our questions." Garren said as he pointed his gun at Glaive.

"You assume right!" Glaive said as he charged at Blade and Garren.

Garren fires at Glaive and he deflected his shots with his sword as he kept on charging and that's when Blade charges at Glaive as he and Glaive clashed swords in a bladed lock before they clash swords several more times before they move away from each other.

Blade soon opens his Rouzer's Open Tray and pulls out his Slash and Thunder Cards as he scans them on the Rouzer.

[SLASH]

[THUNDER]

[LIGHTNING SLASH]

The Cards' powers were absorbed into Blade's body as he channels lighting around his sword as he jumps at Glaive to swing his sword at him. Glaive quickly scans his Mighty Card once again on his Rouzer.

[MIGHTY]

Glaive channels the Card's power into his own sword as he and Blade clashed their swords in a bladed lock, and the enhanced power of their swords created a small shockwave as it appeared around both Riders as a large crack appeared beneath Glaive's feet.

Blade growled as he slightly pushed Glaive's sword back, but then Glaive was able to push his sword away as he kicked him on the chest which sent him rolling on the ground.

As Blade stops on his back, Glaive swings his sword down at him and Blade blocks it in time with his own sword before he pressed his foot against Glaive's chest and threw him over and off him as Glaive landed on his hand and feet and Blade quickly stood back up.

Glaive was about to charge at Blade to attack him, but stops as he notices that the ground beside changes into large stone spikes, and Glaive dodges them by jumping away from them.

As Glaive lands on the ground he sees that his attacker was other than Jeanne as she uses her powers to transmute the ground to attack him. He then notices Rin and Luvia had now moved and surrounded him as they were armed with their jewels.

"Oh? And here I thought you three would've run away." Glaive stated.

"Afraid we can't do that. We're not going to allow you to keep those Cards." Jeanne said as she clapped her hands and placed one of them on the ground and created a sword in her hand and pointed it at Glaive.

"Fine. Then give it your best shot." Glaive told him, and Rin and Luvia attacked first with their stones which created elemental explosions as Jeanne charged at him to attack with her sword.

Both Miyu and Illya begin to see explosions from Glaive's battle against their friends as they see Blade standing back up with the help from Garren.

"No...If you attack recklessly, you'll only…" Miyu said.

"Wh-What now, Ruby?" Illya asked the Kaleidostick before she turned to Miyu. "What should we do?!"

"Calm down, Illyasviel." Miyu told her. "I'll harass and hinder the opponent. Use that chance to-"

"N-No! It'd just be like last time!" Illya told her.

"I can hold him off for ten seconds with my physical protection maximized!" Miyu stated.

"I said no!" Illya shook her head. "That puts you in far too much danger!"

"Who cares?! Just do as I say!" Miyu said.

As the two girls were arguing Ruby was watching them as she floated between until she intervened.

"Killer move! Ruby Dual Chop!" Ruby said as she smacked both Illya and Miyu on the head.

"Ow…" Both Illya and Miyu groan as they mended the pain on their heads.

"This isn't the time for that!" Illya told Ruby.

"The two of you shouldn't be arguing!" Ruby told them. "Honestly, it'll prevent you from becoming outstanding magical girls!

"B-But…" Illya said.

"I know. He may not be a Heroic Spirit, but at this rate, we can't win. So...You're fine with it, Sapphire-chan?" Ruby asked her sister.

"Hai, Nee-san." Sapphire nodded as both Miyu and Illya blinked in confusion.

"This is the last resort." Ruby told them.

Glaive was charging at Jeanne, and she soon claps her hands and placed them on the ground to create a large stone wall, but that didn't stop Glaive as he smashed his hand through the wall and grabs Jeanne by the neck and begins choking her before Glaive breaks the wall using his sword and soon lifts Jeanne up in the air as she struggles to break free.

"Any last words before I choke the life out of you?" Glaive asked as Jeanne struggled to break free. "Fine. If that's your answer…"

Glaive was about to stab his sword into Jeanne before he noticed a fireball heading towards him, before he cut it in half and saw it was Rin and Luvia who were still standing as they were armed with fewer jewels.

"Leave her alone! Come take us on instead!" Rin challenges the Rider.

Glaive huffed to hear that.

"Fine, I was just done with her anyway." Glaive said as he threw Jeanne to the ground as she rolled on it.

"Jeanne!" Blade said in worry as he and Garren ran to check on her.

"I-I'm alright…" Jeanne said as Blade helps her sit up as she coughs and mended her sore throat.

Both Rin and Luvia threw more jewels at Glavie as they exploded in front of him, but he was unharmed by it as he dusted his shoulder.

"Was that supposed to hurt or something?" Glaive asked as he walked to the Magus.

"I'm running low on gemstones." Luvia said as she brought out the last of her stones. "Is this where we'll…"

"Rin-san! Luvia-san!"

Everyone looked and saw both Illya and Miyu running towards them.

"Illya-chan? Miyu-chan?" Blade said in shock.

"You idiots! Stay back! You can't defeat him in the state you're in!" Rin told them.

'Just what are they planning.' Glaive thought as he narrows his eyes at them.

'We can neither defeat him nor rescue you. That's why we'll…' Illya thought as she and Miyu threw both Ruby and Sapphire at Rin and Luvia as they flew past Glaive, and doing that Illya and Miyu were now wearing their regular clothes. '...go with the third choice!'

Glaive then heard sounds behind him as a flash light appeared to where Rin and Luvia were standing.

"I see. That was very clever." Glaive said as he turned back to the Magus who were behind him.

"Geez, you're all such a bother. I couldn't bring myself to simply abandon you, so consider this a special one-time favor!" Ruby told them.

"Look who's talking. You should've done this from the start." Rin stated.

"You have temporarily registered as guest users. Reluctant as we are…" Sapphire told them.

"Don't go putting on airs. This is how it's supposed to be." Luvia stated.

"Now then...let the real battle begin." Rin said with a confident smirk.

Rin and Luvia were now wielding Ruby and Sapphire respectively and were wearing different outfits from what Illya and Miyu were wearing.

Rin was wearing a red outfit with a red outfit with a white skirt and a pink cape like Illya's, and what was stranger she had cat ears and a tail.

Luvia's outfit was blue with a white shirt and matching skirt with a cape on her shoulders, and she had dog ears and a tail.

Despite those outfits being different compared to Illya and Miyu, both Blade and Garren couldn't help but chuckle as they placed their hands on their mouths to hold back their laughter.

"Looking at it from here...Those outfits are a bit embarrassing." Illya said as she scratched her finger on her cheek.

'I guess it's a good thing I wasn't chosen to wear those.' Jeane thought in relief.

"Jeez look at you two. Aren't you at least a bit embarrassed to wear those outfits in public?" Ruby asked.

Rin's eyebrow twitch as an angry mark appeared on her forehead before she slams Ruby on the ground several times.

"You're responsible for it!" Rin shouted.

Luvia simply chuckles.

"Only someone with class could look good in these clothes. Like me, for example." Luvia said proudly.

"Wow, what an idiot! We have an idiot here!" Rin said.

"I guess there's no understanding the fashion sense of the rich." Ruby said.

"What was that?!" Luvia shouted as she glared at Rin and Ruby.

"Would you two please stay focused!" Jeanne told them as both Rin and Luvia flinch. "Don't forget you're in the middle of a battle!"

"Yes, ma'am…" Rin and Luvia mutters.

"Nice change of clothes there." Glaive said getting their attention. "But do you really think that could make a difference here?"

"Well, you're about to find out!" Rin said as she charged at Glaive while Luvia flew in the air.

Glaive swings his sword at Rin and she dodges her attacks as Luvia observes the battle in the air.

"Do you think we should help them?" Blade asked.

"There's no need. Now that they have Ruby and Sapphire in their hands, they can beat him easily." Jeanne told them.

Rin kept dodging Glaive's slashes.

"He can easily repel long range attacks with that sword of his. So fighting him at long range is out." Rin said as she kept on dodging Glaive's attacks.

"But we cannot afford to go easy on him either with weak attacks." Luvia said.

"In that case…" Both Rin and Luvia said at the same time.

"Here I go. Shoot!" Luvia fired magical shots at Glaive.

Glaive was ready to deflect them with his sword but the shots missed him on purpose as they landed on the ground around him, which created a smoke cloud.

"Such power!" Miyu said as she felt the force of that attack as it blew in front of her and the others. "Her strength is on a whole different level!"

"But the attacks aren't hitting at all." Illya said.

"That's perfectly fine!" Rin said as she ran up at Glaive's back as she swung Ruby at him, and Glaive attacked her with his sword, but to his surprise he felt and heard the clashing of blades.

Glaive manages to push Rin back as she lands on the ground and grins at the Rider. Glaive and the others looked at Ruby and saw that there was a blade attached on top of her head.

"A blade?" Illya said.

'I see, she must have channeled her magic power to one point in the form of a blade. I bet even Orma would be impressed by that.' Glaive thought.

"I need more physical strength, Ruby!" Rin said as she charged at Glaive. "Allocate 70% to physical strengthening and 30% to physical protection!"

"You're quite the slave driver." Ruby said as she had done what Rin had instructed her to do.

Soon both Glaive and Rin soon begin to clash blades several times as the Riders and their friends watch in awe.

"A blade formed with highly concentrated mana…" Illya said.

"That way, not only can she fight Glaive with a sword of her own, but she can also use the remaining mana to increase her offense and defense. I had no idea you could use it like that." Miyu said.

"That's right." Jeanne nodded. "That's the difference between you two and Rin and Luvia, they had months of experience training with Ruby and Sapphire, and they had years of training as Magus. Something like that could pose little challenge for them."

Glaive was able to push Rin back before she charged at the Rider and clashed her blade on his sword as he blocked it.

"Ooh, what a scream!" Luvia said as she ran through the smoke cloud. "You're just like a red howler monkey that escaped from the zoo."

"If you're free enough to talk…" Rin said as Glaive pushed her back.

"I've prepared a banana peel as a little gift to you, monkey. Five seconds later, seven steps towards four o'clock." Luvia told her.

Glaive begins to push Rin back, before she notices a small magic circle behind her

Rin purposely lets herself be pushed by Glaive's attack as she manages to move behind the magic circle that Luvia placed for her, as Glaive accidentally steps on it.

Glaive then felt the small explosions beneath his foot from the circle as he felt his balance. Rin then used that chance to charge at Glaive to swing her blade at him.

"Who the hell are you calling a monkey?!" Rin shouted as she slashed Glaive which sent him skidding a few feet away from her.

"They have really good teamwork, too." Miyu said as she and the others were stunned by that.

"You think so?" Illya asked.

"Yeah, I'm not sure about that either." Blade said.

"Not bad there. To think you were able to lead me into a trap. But don't think that it will happen again." Glaive said.

"You know, fighting close and dirty goes against my principles. It's so unrefined. A magical girl's attacks should be flasher and shinier." Ruby said.

Luvia laughs in her usual tone.

"You shouldn't ask for the impossible, Ruby." Luvia told the Kaleidostick as she ran forward. "Tohsaka Rin is only too different from the epitome of elegance that is me."

"Huh? You? Elegant? You're nothing but needlessly flashy!" Rin told her.

"Don't be a sore loser. Your life is as gray and filthy as a rat, so much an unrefined way of fighting suits you perfectly." Luvia stated.

"That's right. Not only is it unrefined, this thing simply looks terrible." Ruby said in agreement as she pointed at the blade on her head.

"Shut up! Some observations can only be made with the crossing of blades!" Ruby told her.

"I don't know about that." Ruby said.

"If you're done chitchatting, how about we finish where we left off!" Glaive said as he charged at Rin and they clashed their blades several times.

"Why, you…" Rin said as she swung her blade at Glaive and he parried it, which made an opening to her side.

Glaive swings his sword at that opening.

"Physical protection, maximize!" Rin told Ruby, and a forcefield appeared around her body as it stopped Glaive's sword.

"Rin-san!" Illya said in worry.

"Damn!" Glaive growls in frustration that she stops his attack.

Rin smirks at Glaive which confuses him before she strongly grabs onto his arm.

"You...What are you…?" Glaive said before Rin moved closer to him.

"I've got you now." Rin said.

Rin quickly dismissed her blade and channeled a golden energy ball over Ruby's head and aimed it at Glaive.

"Feuer (Fire)!" Rin shouted as she created a pinpoint explosion in front of Glaive which forced him to skid back and almost fall on his knees but manage to still stand on his feet.

"A blast attack at point blank?" Miyu said.

"I'm getting a mad sense of deja vu." Illya said.

"Really? How so?" Garren asked.

"Ow…" Rin said as she placed a hand on the spot where Glaive's sword hit on her. "Engaging in close combat with a swordsman is no fun at all."

"We'd be screwed if it was a two-handed swing." Ruby said.

"Damn you…" Glaive said as he angrily glared at Rin.

"By the way, I hope preparations are complete, Luvia." Rin said as Luvia walked out of the smoke cloud and to Rin.

"Well, I suppose I should thank you for buying me time." Luvia said as she and Rin faced Glaive.

"What do you mean by that…?" Glaive said before he notices six large magic circles behind Rin and Luvia as they were aimed at Glaive.

"Magic circles?" Miyu said in shock.

"I see. So that was your plan. Very impressive, you two." Jeanne said as she smiled at Rin and Luvia.

"Charging of all magic circles complete." Sapphire told Luvia.

"This is just like our previous fight, but with our positions reversed." Luvia said.

"You may have defeated two Heroic Spirits…" Rin said as she and Luvia assumed their stance with Ruby and Sapphire in their hands. "But we're different!"

"Shoot!" Luvia said as she pointed Sapphire at Glaive.

"Feuer!" Rin said as she swung Ruby.

Soon the six magic circles fired energy beams at Glaive.

"Alright, then...Let's see if that's enough to beat me!" Glaive said as he readied his sword and he soon clashed his sword against the six beams.

"No way…" Jeanne mutters in shock and the others are stunned by this as well.

Glaive growled as he was being pushed back by their combined attack, and Glaive roared as he managed to redirect the attack straight up in the air before it created a large explosion.

Everyone was left stunned by this before they turned back to Glaive as he was panting before he fell on one knee and hand as he used his sword for support.

Rin and Luvia smirks to see that.

"Well look at that. You may have redirected that attack, but it still took quite the toll on you." Rin said.

"Which would make this our victory." Luvia said before she laughed.

"But still, we should be careful." Blade said as he and Garren walked to their sides as they faced Glaive. "Who knows what sort of tricks he has on his sleeve."

"We know. So how about you give us the Cards now?" Rin said as she pointed her blade at Glaive.

But despite the odds against him, Glaive couldn't help but chuckle as he stood back up.

"I'll admit, you two are impressive on your own...But you should think twice of underestimating me." Glaive told them.

"Hmph! Please, what do you possibly have that can give you an edge." Luvia said in a mocking tone.

"Well...I have this." Glaive answered as he brought out and showed the Class Card Saber. Seeing that surprised the Riders and temporarily magical girls.

"A Class Card?" Blade said.

"What? But you can't use that." Rin stated.

"Let's see about that!" Glaive shouted as scans the Saber Card on his sword.

[SABER]

Which surprised everyone to hear that before gold energy began to channel around Glaive's sword as it extended into a giant blade.

"Let's see how you'll handle this! Excalibur!" Glaive said as he swung his sword at the Riders along with Rin and Luvia.

The light from his energy blinded everyone in the area as they shield their eyes and Glaive created a large smoke cloud.

As the light had died down, Illya and Miyu opened their eyes as they saw that Jeanne had created several large earth walls in front of them which broke apart.

Jeanne was panting as she fell on her hand and knee.

"Jeanne-san!" Illya said in worry as she and Miyu ran to check on her.

"Are you alright?" Miyu asked.

"Yeah...I am...but what about Kouji and the others?" Jeanne asked before they heard coughing and saw both Kouji and Shinichi had reverted back to their civilian forms as they were lying on the ground but were slightly injured.

"Kouji! Shinichi!" Jeanne said as she, Illya, and Miyu ran to the Riders. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah I think so...thanks to Rin and Luvia." Kouji said as he and Shinichi sat back up.

"They were able to push us out of the way." Shinichi told them.

"But...what about them…?" Jeanne said as she and the others turned to the area where Rin and Luvia were standing.

When the smoke cleared away, to their horror they saw no trace of Rin and Luvia, only a scorching ground in their place, caused by Glaive's attack.

"Rin-san...Luvia-san…" Illya mutters in shock and horror.

"T-This can't be real…" Kouji mutters.

They soon heard Glaive chuckling as they turned to him.

"Nice! Now that's what I call power!" Glaive said before he looked at the AP bar on his Rouzer and saw it was now in 1000. "But it would appear that it drains a large amount of my AP. Guess I need to be careful on how to use these Cards."

Glaive then sets his eyes on Kouji and the others.

"But I won't be needing that to finish the rest of you off." Glaive told him as he slowly walked to them.

Despite their injured state both Kouji and Shinichi stood up and faced Glaive.

"Jeanne, listen...Me and Shinichi will try to hold him back as long as we can. You take Illya-chan and Miyu-chan as far away as you can." Kouji told her which surprised Jeanne, Illya, and Miyu.

"What? No way! I can't just abandon you two to die!" Jeanne said in denial.

"You have to!" Kouji stated. "And you shouldn't forget we're not his priority here."

"Kouji's right. We may not know why, but his main target is the Class Cards. And right now, it's dangerous to let those fall into his hands especially since he can harness their power." Shinichi told her.

"Even so…" Jeanne mutters.

As they were talking, Illya wasn't able to hear their words as she looked at the scorching ground where Rin and Luvia once stood, and turned back to Glaive as he slowly walked to her and her friends.

'T-This can't be real...Are we...Am I going to die?' Illya thought in dread as her eyes were shaking before she looked up at Glaive and for some strange reason, Illya could see a dark monstrous shadow appearing above him as it looked at her with burning red eyes.

Illya hugged herself as she lowered her head as she began, and then something inside of her body like a chain with a lock suddenly snaps open.

"Listen, we need to…" Kouji said before suddenly he and the others felt a strong gust of wind.

They looked and saw it was coming from Illya as large wings of light appeared on her back.

"Illya-chan?!" Kouji said in shock.

"What the...What's going on here?" Shinichi said in shock as well.

"Hmmm…?" Glaive hummed as he looked up at the wings. "Wait. Could it be…" Glaive looks down at Illya. "Could this be what the master had told me about?"

"I...I must defeat him…" Illya mutters before she hears a voice in her head.

"How?"

Illya opens her eyes and looks at Glaive as she could see an empty white space around the Rider.

"I must defeat him." She mutters once again.

"How?"

"I must defeat him."

"How?"

Illya's eyes changed into a bright color as her face was devoid of emotions and a golden aura surrounded her body.

"I must defeat him." Illya said as she stood up and then she brought out the Archer Card.

"Archer?" Jeanne said.

"Why would she bring that out?" Shinichi said.

Then a red magic circle appeared beneath Illya's feet as Glaive became even more interested in this.

"Oh…" Glaive said.

Illya then placed the Class Card on the ground and on the magic circle and the circle made another copy of itself as it went up through Illya's body as she muttered only one word.

"Install."

Then a whirlwind of energy appeared around Illya which blew in front of her friends. Illya then stood up as red flames appeared around her body as the flames changed her clothes.

Illya's hair was now tied in a bun, she was wearing a black chest-plate with a red long sleeve shirt, she also wore black shorts with a red open skirt with black boots. Illya then conjured a black bow in her hand.

Seeing her new outfit surprised Kouji, Shinichi, Jeanne, and Miyu.

"What the...Jeanne, what's going on? What did she just do?" Kouji asked.

"I...I'm not sure myself. I don't even know how this is possible." Jeanne said.

Glaive hummed as he looked and studied Illya's new transformation before he scoffed and laughed at her in a mocking tone.

"Oh please. Am I supposed to be impressed? So what if you have a new outfit...You're still no match for me!" Glaive shouted as he charges at Illya and slashes at her but she dodges it and Glaive keeps on slashing at Illya and she easily dodges his attacks before she dodges his next slash by back flipping away from the Rider. Glaive clicks his tongue in annoyance as he glares at Illya. "You can't keep on dodging forever. I'll keep on attacking until I find an opening."

Illya soon pulled on the string of her bow as she aimed it at Glaive.

"What? Why is she aiming that bow without an arrow?" Jeanne wondered before Illya said one thing.

"Trace, on."

Illya soon created a bladed weapon that was in the shape of an arrow which surprised her friends, as Illya pulled it on her bow's string and fired the arrow weapon at Glaive.

Glaive blocks her attacks with his sword but it explodes upon impact, Glaive was sent flying but was able to recover and lands on his feet and hand as he skids back on the ground before he stops.

"What the heck was that?" Shinichi said.

"It couldn't be…" Jeanne mutters, getting the others' attention. "She did just Projection magic?"

"What does that mean?" Kouji asked.

"This is only a theory, but I think Illya-chan must have used an art called Projection to create a Noble Phantasm in the shape of an arrow." Jeanne told them.

"Nani?" Kouji gasped as he turned back to Illya as she lowered her bow.

"But...Something like that would be impossible. In fact the caster would've killed themselves by even trying it." Jeanne said.

"Okay...That was not bad. But you need more than a little bow and arrow to beat me!" Glaive stated.

Illya soon dismisses her bow and jumps into the air as she heads towards Glaive.

Illya then conjured two swords in her hands, they were short swords, one was colored white while the other was black and they have a yin-yang symbol on the sides and on the top of the hilts.

Illya then swings one of her swords at Glaive and he blocks it and pushed it back and slashes at Illya with his own sword, but Illya was able to parry it with her other sword and slashes at Glaive again, and he dodges it by jumping back as he and Illya lands on their feet.

Illya soon dismissed her swords and created three spears and threw them at Glaive, and he was able to cut them down with his sword. Glaive then saw Illya was now in the air.

"Trace: Overedge." Illya said as she created larger and feather-like versions of her black and white swords as she clashed one of them at Glaive's own sword, and Illya was able to graze his arm with her other sword as he was forced to jump away from Illya.

Glaive growls as he and Illya clashed swords several times.

As they were fighting, Kouji, Shinichi, Jeanne, and Miyu were still left stunned by this.

"Just what is going on here? Is that really Illya-chan?" Kouji said.

"It's almost like she's an entirely different person." Shinichi said.

"Her appearance...Her fighting prowess…It couldn't be…" Jeanne mutters as she and Miyu come up with the same conclusion.

"She turned into a Heroic Spirit." Miyu said.

Both Glaive and Illya clashed swords once again before Glaive manage to push her swords back and slashes at her, but Illya was able to dodge it by back flipping before she jumps into the air and throws her swords at him and Glaive were able to cut them down as Illya lands on her feet.

Kouji and the others then notice something crawling in the ground as it slowly approaches them.

"Oh crap, it's another enemy!" Kouji said as he and Shinichi were ready to transform.

But then the thing that was crawling towards them was Sapphire as she popped out from the ground which surprised them.

"Are you alright, everyone?!" Sapphire said in worry.

"S-Sapphire...You're okay?" Miyu said in shock.

"Hai. We barely managed to burrow underground and escape. The two of them are hurt but otherwise fine." Sapphire explained as Rin and Luvia were now wearing their normal clothes as they were now in an underground tunnel as Ruby was watching over them.

"So they're alive...Thank goodness…" Jeanne sighed in relief to know that and the others were relieved as well.

"Is that Illya-sama?" Sapphire said as she turned to Illya. "What on Earth…"

Illya soon fired another arrow at Glaive and he managed to block it with his sword as it exploded in front of him. Glaive was sent skidding back on the ground before he stopped.

Glaive then notices that Illya was nowhere to be seen, but then he saw her reappearing as she slashed at him with both of her white and black swords. Glaive was able to dodge the white sword and block the black one with his own sword before he pushed it back and slashed at Illya, and she dodged it by jumping over it and jumped over 10 feet in the air as she fell towards Glaive.

Glaive clicks his tongue as he swings his sword at Illya and she blocks it with one of her swords and swings the other one at Glaive which he dodges but Illya manage to graze his neck before he kicks at Illya but she dodges it by doing some backflips and landed on her feet and ready her swords.

Glaive placed a hand on his graze neck.

"That was a close one. Had I gotten careless you would've cut off my head. Impressive, but...Wounding me was a big mistake!" Glaive said as he scans the Saber Card once again on his Rouzer.

[SABER]

Using the Saber Card drains all the AP that Glaive had as a large golden blade appeared around his Rouzer as he assumed his stance and readied his sword.

"Let's see if those puny swords of yours can beat the strongest sword known to man!" Glaive shouted.

"This is bad…" Shinichi mutters in dread.

"Illya-chan! You have to get away now!" Kouji shouted at her but Illya wasn't able to hear his voice as she simply stood in front of Glaive.

"Trace, on."

With that Illya was able to create a new sword in her hands. The sword had a silver blade with runes on it, it also had a golden guard and a blue grip.

Seeing that sword in her hands surprised Kouji and the others, and even Glaive himself was shocked to see it. Glaive huffed as he wasn't going to falter now.

"So you can create that sword as well. Fine then! Let's see which is stronger, mine or yours!" Glaive shouted as Illya lifted the sword up as she channeled a golden energy around the blade.

"Excalibur!" Both Glaive and Illya shouted.

Then both Glaive and Illya swung their golden swords against each other as their blades clashed. The force of their attacks created a massive shockwave that cracked the ground they were on, and made Kouji, Shinichi, Jeanne, and Miyu cover their faces as the strong winds blew in front of them.

"Such massive power! At this rate, they might destroy each other and take us along with them!" Jeanne stated.

"What?" Shinichi gasped.

"This is bad...Illya-chan, you have to stop now!" Kouji calls out to her.

But Illya wasn't able to hear his voice as she and Glaive continued to lock their blades.

Glaive was growling as he managed to slightly push Illya's sword back, and Glaive smirks under his helmet before Illya channels more energy to her Excalibur copy and soon begins to push Glaive back.

"W-What is this power?!" Glaive shouted before cracks appeared around his golden energy blade and soon shattered into pieces before he was consumed by Illya's attack as he screamed in pain, and Illya's attack created a large explosion with a smoke cloud.

Thankfully, Jeanne was able to create a stone wall in time to protect herself and the others from any serious damage before it broke apart.

Jeanne sighed in relief as she wiped her sleeve on her forehead before she turned to the Riders, Miyu, and Sapphire.

"Are you alright?" Jeanne asked.

"We're fine, thanks. But what about Illya-chan?" Kouji said as they turned back to where Illya and Glaive stood.

When the smoke cleared Kouji, Shinichi, Jeanne, Miyu, and Sapphire saw that Illya was still standing before the clothes she was wearing had changed back into her normal clothes and she fell to the ground.

"Illya!" Kouji, Shinichi, Jeanne, Miyu, and Sapphire said in worry as they ran to check on her.

Kouji picks her up as she is now leaning on his arm as Illya is now sleeping.

"Thank goodness. Doesn't look like she's hurt anywhere." Kouji said in relief.

Jeanne then spotted the Archer Card on the ground and picked it up to look at it.

"But still, how did she do all that?" Jeanne said as she was curious on how Illya was able to use the Class Card like that.

They soon heard coughing, and Kouji, Shinichi, Jeanne, Miyu, and Sapphire turned to a smoke cloud as it began to clear up to reveal a wounded Glaive in his civilian form, not only that his hood was off of his head as they now saw his face.

It was a young man with shaggy brown hair and black eyes, but what really shocked Kouji and his friends was his wounds and blood. Instead of being red like normal human wounds, his was colored green and his blood was like a green ooze as it fell to the ground.

"What the hell?" Kouji mutters to see Glaive's wounds and blood.

But despite his wounded state Glaive found the strength to stand on his feet as he glared at Illya, which made Kouji, Jeanne, and Miyu on guard to protect her.

They soon heard a ringing sound in the area and it was coming from Glaive as he brought out a handheld device.

"I suppose today is your lucky day." Glaive said as he put the device away. "You can keep your Class Cards for now. I'll always come back for them. But just remember, it's now a race between you guys and me, and the Class Cards are the grand prize."

Glaive turned around and was about to leave but before giving Kouji and his friends some parting words.

"Also before I leave, I should probably tell you my name considering you'll see me again soon." Glaive said as he turned back at Kouji and his friends one last time. "I'm Shimura Junichi. You'll do well to remember that name. Because one day, I'll kill you all." He told them before he walked into and disappeared in the shadows.

As he was gone Jeanne sighed in relief while Kouji was curious on who Junichi was as he wondered how he became a Kamen Rider and why he's collecting the Class Cards.

Then out of nowhere Rin, Luvia, and Ruby pop out of the ground as both girls breath in some fresh air.

"I thought we were goners!" Rin said.
