Author has written 1 story for Borderlands, and My Hero Academia/僕のヒーローアカデミア. Hello crazy, beautiful world! I am a game design student with a specialization in narrative. I love fun, drama and great stories! As I get better at writing, I'm going to be focusing on crossover only. Why crossover? I find the idea of taking characters from two different fandoms and putting them on the same stage invites worlds of narrative possibility. Since entering adolescence I would just think about how awesome it'd be if I could take some of my favourite characters and see how they mesh, link and collide! Personal Crossover Pet Peeves: 1.Non-Matching/nonsensical canons. Some things just can't be put together. Something like Legend of Zelda and Mass Effect. It'd be good for a laugh for a bit, but without any easy and believable connections, it's mostly just character reaction crack or a death battle and it just feels weird. A possible good crossover: Starbound and Star Trek, space exploration involving humans and various alien races, a combo that has less of a strain on the suspense of disbelief. 2. No differences from the canon. If nothing changes with your additions, then its just like playing a game with crossover reskins mods. Its limited, gets boring fast and can feel unnatural. The butterfly effect holds true for fiction. If you add something, something changes, that is how the world works. 3. Overpowered/steamrolling. Too many times I have read a crossover where they put a character into the story of another world, where they just cut down any problems like my lawn that I mow on Mondays, cutting down any dramatic tension. Only if it is written in an extremely clever way and very well can it really work. My favourite shows My Hero Academia It was the first anime that is so good that I haven't read the manga to get to the plot faster, I actually want to experience it through the show! I keep having to empty the buckets full of my messy tears its so good! The Mandalorian After what has felt like a drought of average and sub-par Star Wars content that has lasted about a decade, this show is the tap that has rejuvenated my love for the franchise. The fact that it's about the faction I love the most that had been pushed to the sidelines in the Legends material for a long time is just the cherry on top. My favourite games Borderlands 2 Due to how strict my parents were when it came to violent games, I was a few years late to jump on the Pandora bandwagon, playing it in secret at my friend's house. First M rated game I ever played and I still find new things to love about it. For Honor Up to this point I hadn't been big on fighting games, thankfully this game changed that! The only real problem I have with it is that there is barely any good stories that isn't just shipping smut and crossovers about it. You'd think a world where fantasized medieval factions clash in unending war would make good stories! Hunt Showdown Hands down, one of the most intense and riveting FPS that you have probably never heard about. Basically Escape from Tarkov, crossed with zombies and cowboys. Check it out, its cooler than it sounds! Favourite Book Series: Percy Jackson Amazing characters, humor and worldbuilding. RR is a legend. Stories Status Angel in a Gilded Cage: Season 2 Complete! Season 3 coming in January 2022. Main Fic. New AGC Sidestory: In production! New Unnamed Crossover: Pilot coming soon! |
