Chapter 28: A Whole New World: Part 1!
Back on Earth, in the town of Royal Woods...
At the Loud House, the remaining Loud family members that were still on Earth had retreated to their home and instantly barricaded the door and any other point of entry as their house was surrounded from all sides by a mob of a lot of Royal Woods' people consisting of disgusted, angry civilians who were shouting and threw things at their windows or held up pick it signs saying such things like: "Face The Consequences!", "Child Abusers!", "Ungrateful Family!", "Enough with the Loudness!", "Down With The Louds!" or "Where's Lincoln?!", shocked and confused friends who also wanted answers but not resort to physical violence, and police officers who demanded that they come out and answer for their crime against the center of attention that being Lincoln, ever since Leni, Luan, Lucy and Lana told them what their family has done at Lynn's ball game.
Speaking of Leni, Lucy, Lana and Luan, the rest of their family still didn't know where they were after Hekapoo conjured up a portal underneath their feet and they, alongside Bobby, Ronnie Anne and Clyde fell through it and mysteriously vanished. But that wasn't the family's only thing they had to worry about right now.
There was also the possibility of Rita and Lynn Sr going to jail for their crime as well as the rest of the family either getting tried as adults in Lori, Luna and Lynn Jr's case or being put into foster care and given to different families in Lola, Lisa, and Lily's case.
Speaking of Lori, while she was freaking out over her family current situation, what she was mostly concerned about was her boyfriend Bobby, who fell through that portal that somehow came out of nowhere. She wanted to call him immediately after he vanished in front of her, but she wasn't given the chance to as she and her family had to bail on Lynn's game and rush home due to the people there demanding answers from her and her family. Once this blew over, she was going to call him asap. She only hoped to almighty God in heaven that her precious Boo-Boo Bear didn't break up with her a second time as she didn't want to take her anger out another member of her family considering what she nearly did to her twerp of a brother the last time the Santiago teen did that to her.
In Luna's case, she didn't quite understand why her family was being targeted by the angry people outside or more importantly why the police had to get involved. Did it had something to do with what they did to Lincoln? Did it have something to do with the disappearance of her ditsy older sister, her comedian of a roommate, her young Gothic sister and her young mechanic of a sister? If so, was what they did was really so bad that the law had to get involved in it?
Did they really go too far with this?
As the teen wannabe rock star went upstairs to think on that particular thought, Lola was just lounging on the couch, desperately trying to wrap her head around this whole thing.
And speaking of the pageant winning, short tempered brat and her thoughts on this, she was honestly try to keep herself together as everything was happening so fast though on the inside she was freaking the heck out. She didn't know what was worse, her family essentially being labeled as pariahs due to the whole shooting Lincoln into space thing or her pageant career taking a massive blow or worse, being over entirely due to this. It might as well obviously be the latter as she didn't know why did she and her family have to suffer like this all because they shot someone who was just as selfish, gross, hypocritical, ungrateful and egotistical as she and the other Louds were most of the time into space. She did wonder as well as worry a bit as to where the rest of her siblings were though, despite their betrayal.
But despite her thoughts, what was this strange feeling in the 6 year old pageant winning girl's chest?
For Lisa, she was surprised that people got this mad over something so minor. At least, she thought it was minor, at least at first. But during the rush back home, she was starting see why it wasn't so minor after all. She knew that Lincoln wasn't bad luck from the beginning and wanted to tell him not to lie to their family due to the many other times he did and either resulted in disaster for him in some cases or almost resulted in disaster for the rest of their family but didn't in other cases. However, given that the ashen haired boy (and by extension the rest of her family for that matter) seem to disregard her opinions on certain matters, especially when it came to one of the Loud she decided not to speak up in his defense when she and the others kicked Lincoln out of the house.
Like Lola, Lynn Jr was irritated that she and her family were being labeled as bad guys for something that happened in their own family and therefore, wasn't their business. But now thanks to the machinations of Leni, Luan, Lucy, and Lana as well as Clyde, Ronnie, and Bobby by extension, now their whole town knows be it friends, or civilians or the police alike are rioting outside their house at this very moment for something that wasn't there concern. And this all centered around her total wimp of a brother, who she still thought of as bad luck. If she ever saw him again, she was going to beat him so bad that he was going to need life support machines to keep his insides as well as his whole body stabilized for the rest of his days. If she saw any of her stupid traitorous sisters again, she going to strangle Leni and make her traitorous sisters watch. If she saw Bobby, Clyde or Ronnie Anne again, she was going to... okay, she didn't know exactly what she was going to do to them cause she was too angry to think straight and she didn't think that far ahead, but she guaranteed that it would make them deeply regret crossing her and their family.
In Rita and Lynn Sr's case, they didn't how what started as a normal day for their family all went to hell in a hand basket so fast. All because of something that happened in the family. Now looking back on it, maybe they should have let Lincoln back in. Maybe they shouldn't have thought of him as bad luck. Maybe they shouldn't have listened to Lynn's superstitions and shoot him into space. Maybe they shouldn't have kicked him out of the house in the first place. But it was too late now, what's done was done and now they needed to face the consequences of their actions like a actual person. That is if they chose to anyway.
Or should they?
What was this they were feeling? Regret for there actions? Doubtful.
Speaking of Lily, due to her being a baby, she couldn't quite understand why her family looked so worried and filled with dread. By as she continued to look at the distressed looks of her parents and her older siblings, she figured that it it had something to do with her brother, who she couldn't find anywhere.
Seeing that her brother was no where to be found, it caused her to begin to whimper.
Rita, hearing her infant daughter whimpering immediately went over to her crib and picked her up.
"No, no, it's okay Lily. There's no need to cry." Rita said gently as she held her child into her arms.
"Ere's Inky?" The infant babbled.
Hearing that made the mom freeze up a bit. Regardless she turned to Lisa and said. "Lisa, could you go get "L-Lincoln" for Lily, p-please?"
Without a second thought, Lisa rushed upstairs. Seconds later, she approached the top of the stairs with someone.
It looked like an exact clone of Lincoln but there were some MAJOR differences between this illegal attempt at recreation of human life and the real Lincoln.
Instead of Lincoln's light skin, the clone was all blue skinned. Instead of Lincoln's chipped tooth, this thing had full teeth with no gaps or injuries in them. Instead of Lincoln's classical and recognizable white hair, this abnormality also had white hair, but long that it went down his back and with streaks of different colors of the rainbow that seem to glow and wash over like a river every time he moved for some reason. Probably a slight defective modification during the cloning process.
As the clone and Lisa descended down the stairs, Lily looked upon it and immediately her eyes widened in shock as her undeveloped brain instantly realized the horrifying truth.
This person was NOT her brother!
And despite being a baby, Lily was a bit more... aware than her family thought she was. Maybe it was her intellect and her awareness manifesting a bit faster than most infants or something?
Realizing that the boy in front of her was NOT her beloved brother caused her to start balling her eyes out.
As Rita tried to calm her daughter down, all she heard from her were babbles saying "At's not Incoln!" over and over again.
The only thing that the Loud family could hope for was that things couldn't get any worse.
Oh how wrong they are so going to be in that regard...
Oh well, at least thing couldn't get worse right?
Seconds later, they heard a couple of voices coming from what they think is a megaphone from outside.
"Louds, we know you're in there. This is Mrs. Santiago, can you please tell me where Roberto and Ronnie Anne are? They didn't come home from the game when it turned into a big riot." Bobby and Ronnie Anne's mother asked loudly using the megaphone, causing Lori's eyes to widen in surprise.
"And also, these are Clyde's Dads, can you please tell us where our son is?" Howard asked into the megaphone he and his husband have.
"Oh crap! Why are Mrs. Santiago and Clyde's Dads here?! Why is the universe punishing us this much?!" Lori couldn't help but say out loud upon hearing that Mrs. Santiago was among the crowd outside. What made things just as bad was the fact that both of Clyde's Dads were part of the mob demanding answers outside. How could they explain the three's disappearance along with most of their sisters without sounding completely insane?
If you guess they can't, then you'd be right.
"Lori, just because things are bad doesn't give you the right to use that kind of language. Your little sisters are present." Rita firmly scolded her eldest daughter but made sure to be as gently as she could.
"Sorry Mom but I think it does, it's just that Bobby and Ronnie's Mom as well as Clyde's Dads are out there." Lori said as calmly as she could before she began to freak out. "How are we going to explain what happen to their kids without sounding like we've literally lost our marbles?"
"We tell them the truth." Lisa said rather bluntly.
"They won't believe us if we do." Lynn said. "I say, we haven't seen them. There easy."
"I'm with Lynn on this." Lola said, agreeing with her older jock of a sister. "I mean what can we say. "Sorry, Mrs. Santiago and Mr. and Mr. McBride, we don't know where Bobby, Ronnie Anne and Clyde are. They fell through a weird portal and disappeared along with most of our siblings."
"Wow, that does sound crazy." Lynn Sr. said, honestly.
"But it'll at least be the truth." Lisa said bluntly. "If we continue to lie to the people out there, we're only be digging ourselves deeper into the holes we've dug our family in. I am going to go upstairs, so if anyone needs me, I shall be in my living quarters."
With that, Lisa went upstairs to get her thoughts in order as the rest of the family looked at each other as they began to think of what they were going to do next.
What they do next could either save the family or doomed them all for years to come...
In Langley Falls...
Stan was driving in his SUV around through the streets of Langley Falls for the past two hours as he shouted for either Francine or Steve or Haley as when he got home, he found them not there. Something wasn't right. Did they get kidnapped or something.
Heck, he occasionally called out for Klaus and Jeff, the two family members he that he spent the most time ridiculing and giving a hard time to mostly because he can in order to take the heat off of him. That's how bad his search was.
"Francine, the Black Friday sale is happening at the Langley Mall, please come out so we can go nuts there without any consequences!" Stan shouted fruitlessly from the inside of his car. "Dammit, that usually gets her to come running." He tried a different family member. "Steve, where are you son?!" The big chinned man then shouted for his son before shouting out for his stoner son in law. "Jeff, I got a bag of weed in my car, if you want to smoke it, come out where I can see you!" He was starting to get even more worried as he then shouted for his liberal daughter. "Haley, if you're out there please do a bird call that I can understand!" He tried again, this time with the German fishy punching bag. "Klaus, where are you you fishy, German, SOB?!"
He tried to keep going with doing this tactic, but with each call out to each member of his family, his search was beginning to get more and more fruitless.
He needed to try something else, but what?
Briefly looking out the window, the CIA agent saw his two gay neighbors and news reporters, Greg and Terry walking their dog, a pure bread poodle, down the street.
Stopping his car, he stepped out his car and stood in front of them.
"Greg, Terry. Sorry to bug you guys on your walk, but I need to ask you guys something." Stan said. "Have you seen any member of my family at any point today?"
"No. Sorry Stan, but we haven't." Terry said. "Is something wrong?"
Stan looked away for a bit, wondering of whether or not to tell his neighbors some VERY important information.
After thinking on it for a few seconds, Stan let out a sigh.
"Yeah, when I got home. I found the whole place empty. Francine and the kids were gone. Even Klaus is missing too" Stan revealed.
"Oh my goodness." Greg said. "That's terrible. Have you called the police?"
"No, I tried to call my family during my search around town and so far I haven't found any of them." Stan said. "Listen, if you two see any of them, please call me?"
"Of course, Stan." Terry said.
"We'll make sure to let you know the moment we see any of them." Greg said. "If we don't, we'll notify the populace with a morning news report tomorrow."
"Thank you, both of you. I'm going to go home, if I don't see them by the end of the day, I'll call the police." Stan said as he began to get back into his car. As Stan closed the door and put his seat belt on, he then said. "Oh, why do I feel that this is going to be the cause of a chain reaction that'll start a structural collapse of Langley Falls sometime in the future?"
With that, he drove off as Terry and Greg looked on in worry.
"Terry, let's start looking for Francine and the kids right now." Greg said determined.
"You read my mind, Gregory." Terry said, planting a kiss on the brown haired man's cheek before looking down at the dog. "Chris, will you help us find the other Smiths?"
The dog barked, indicating that he was going to help.
"Good boy." Greg said as he held hands with his significant other and they led their dog down the street.
Meanwhile on Zeenu...
When the ship crashed and then subsequently exploded, it caused everyone in the area to scatter for cover. Outside the city, the explosion could be heard for miles. Those who saw it were both shocked and confused. Some were either wondering what happened to cause that or just went on about their day, though the explosion was still fresh in their minds.
In what appeared to be a desert only instead of water in its oasis it was filled with nothing but material melting, green acid in the wide and deep crevices that stood along the lifeless ground that was littered with skeletons, a portal was cut into the air as the group of rescuers fro Earth fell out of it.
"Whoa, so we're really on another planet?" Lana asked in awe as she looked around the new territory.
"Better believe it, little lady." Bismuth said. "First time on a new planet?"
"Yup." Lana said.
"Anyone else?" Bismuth asked.
Leni, Luan, Lucy, Francine, Ronnie Anne, Bobby, Clyde, Hayley, Klaus, Steve, Jeff and Elise all raised their hands.
"Figures." Bismuth chuckled a bit. "Well, stick with me, Amethyst, Peridot or Hekapoo and you will be fine."
"No need to worry about me, Bismuth. I've been trained for situations like this." Elise said confidently.
"Ha ha!" Bismuth laughed as she slapped Elise, nearly knocking her to the ground. "I like your confident style, Elise. Quite inspiring."
"Likewise." Elise groaned with a pained look on her face.
Seconds later, a growling could be heard in the distance as footsteps made the ground shake.
"Did you guys just hear that?" The dimensional scissor asked she got out two of the objects she makes.
"Leni, you and your sisters stick with us." Francine said as she gestured the Loud sisters to get her as she shielded her children (and Klaus) by standing in front of them with her arms out. "Bobby, Clyde, Ronnie, you too."
As Bismuth turned her hands into a hammer and a buzz saw for the left hand and right hand respectively, Amethyst summoned her whip and Melissa, Zack and Dr D. took cover as Agent P got into a fighting stance as Peridot got on her trashcan lid and levitated it, the creature revealed itself.
It was a massive crocodile like alien with three blue eyes and the sharp spines of a porcupine on the back and the teeth weren't teeth at all. They were drills that spin up when it roars.
It let out a loud roar as it charged at the group.
"Francine, kids. You guys stay back. We'll handle this." Peridot said as she levitated next to Bismuth.
"Sounds good to me." Bobby said as the rest of the humans were about to see what the non humans were capable of.
Meanwhile in a cave...
The stranger dragged the incredibly injured but still alive Lincoln into his cave, silently praying that he stay alive long enough to be saved as he placed him on the table.
With that, he got to work.
He started by removing the shards of metal in his body. First by starting with the arms then the legs.
What he saw next surprised him.
The wounds were... closing?
Regardless, he needed to continue.
He unbuttoned the remains of his shirt to look over the burn marks.
And cheese and crackers were their a lot of them.
The stranger than ran to his workbench and came back with a bucket filled with strange blue, foamy liquid.
"Stay with me, son." The stranger said as he placed his hands into the bucket filled with blue liquid before placing them on Lincoln's chest in order to apply the foam.
Once he applied the liquid to the appropriate places that had burn marks, the liquid deal it's thing as the burn marks began to disappear. It took a bit of time, but it was worth it.
Now for the right side of his face.
The stranger then then put his hands back into get them all foamy before reaching for the boy's burned off right side.
But before the stranger could touch his face, the right side of a white helmet manifested around it to protect it as his eyes opened up as a deep voice spoke to the strange individual using the unconscious boy as a mean to speak to him.
"No need kind sir, I've got this."
The right side of the boy's face began to heal itself almost instantly as the helmet dissipated.
With the boy still unconscious but healed from being on the brink of death, the stranger took a chair to sit at Lincoln's side. Hopefully, he'll wake up soon.
Meanwhile in a canyon miles away, someone was frantically trying to find out where the heck he was.
"Oh my god. Where the hell am I?" A certain gray alien asked as he was freaking out.
All he saw was in a canyon at night, filled with large, almost shark like creatures with running chainsaws for teeth.
"Damn Eclipsa, transporting me all the way out here." Roger said. "With these shark bastards."
That got the attention of those shark aliens who growled at the alien as they began to approach him.
"Oh crap." Roger said as he began to run for his life as he screamed as the land sharks began to chase after him, clearly wanting to rip him to bits as well as eat him.
"Why do I get myself into these stupid situations?" Roger asked himself as he continued to run. "C'mon Roger, channel your inner persona. You create them dammit."
Roger, while running, began to focus his mind. "So many personas. But which one should I use?"
"Ricky Spanish? Oh hell no, I don't have control over that one?" Roger thought to himself as he continued to run for dear life as he thought of many other personas he could utilize. "Let's see, who else can I become on the fly? Braf Zacland, no, I only do that with Steve. Also he's a detective, not much of a fighter." Roger continued to run as thought of another persona. "Toro?" Roger then smiled a bit. "Yeah, Toro would sound perfect for this type of situation. The problem is, I don't where to hide in this canyon. NOR do I have the resources to quickly change on the fly."
Without even realizing it, Roger, who still though that he was being chased by the land sharks, had left the canyon seconds ago using his time slowing down speed. And the land sharks were too far behind to chase him anymore.
In the city where the ship crashed, the battle was stopped as the Emperor's enemies that attacked the palace decided to call a retreat for now as they were wondering where that ship came from.
As for the Emperor, he had his guards check on his citizens. After making sure that they were okay, he led the detectives consisting of four, tall, yellow, four eyed aliens with detective outfits, consisted with gray trench coats, brown fedoras and black sunglasses to access the damage created by the explosion by observing the burn marks on the ground, the debris of the skyscraper as well as the crater left i the explosion's wake.
"Hmm. Everyone, gather around." The emperor instructed as his many surviving citizens gathered around him and the detectives. "Since this explosion is what drove off Gorge the Death Bringer, it is up to us, all of us, to prepare for anything that comes our way."
"Like those guys?" a citizen said as he pointed at the people arriving to the city.
Looking behind him, he saw Globgor, his family and the people with him walking to the city with distressed looks on their faces.
"Greetings." The emperor greeted before taking out a long staff with two morning stars with two spiky balls on two long chains that reached down to the floor. "Are you friends or foes?"
"Whoa, it's okay." Globgor said as he held Eclipsa in his arms. "We're not hostile. We just escaped from a big alien ship, we're a little exhausted and after seeing the explosion, we rushed here as fast as we could to see if one of our own was here." The king of the monsters then looked at the decimated building the ship crashed into before it blew up as he let out a sigh of regret. "Looks like he's not here."
"And who is this one you speak of? Perhaps my detectives can help locate him?" The emperor asked in concern, lowering his weapon a bit.
"He's a young human boy named Lincoln Loud." Globgor said. "He has white hair and orange pajamas. He helped us escape from our enemy named Zing. Please, can you help us find him?"
"I suppose we can try to-" The emperor began but was cut off.
"LINCOLN! ARE YOU HERE?!" a voice from above shouted.
Looking up at the sky, they saw Bubbles carrying Leggy, who was shouting her boyfriend's name repeatedly. They been fling for the past two hours. Looking back down, they saw various people like Sinbad, Zoe, the two Zircons, even Jasper, Dan and Chris, and Milo's family (now reunited) and some of Zing's former citizens as well as most of the slaves could be seen walking up to them.
"Lincoln, where are you?!" Milo shouted using his hands like a megaphone.
"Milo, Dan, Chris, Jasper! Over here!" Globgor shouted, getting their attention.
"Globgor, you're okay!" Milo said as he embraced the monster.
"Careful Milo." Chris said, pulling away the boy a bit. "Eclipsa doesn't look too good."
"Oh sorry, what happened to her?" Milo said in concern.
"I don't know, but I think she used all of her magic in that big transporting spell to get us off the ship and bring us here, though we all got separated in the process." Globgor revealed, looking down at his wife in his arms. "Hope she wakes up soon."
"Is Lincoln here?" Dan said after a few seconds of silence.
"No, I don't think he's here." Sinbad said as he walked up to them.
"Hope he's alive." Jasper said as she crossed her arms before turning to the sky searchers. "Bubbles, Ruby, he's not here! You can come down!"
"Aw man!" Bubbles said as she and Leggy landed on the cracked grounds of Zeenu's capital city.
"NO!" Leggy said as she pounded her fists on the ground.
"I'm sorry, Leggy." Chris said to the little soldier as he embraced her downtrodden form.
"I want to find him, Chris." Leggy said muffled into the man's hairy legs.
"We'll find him. Don't worry, he can regenerate remember?" Chris reminded her. "I'm sure we'll find him sooner or later, but right now we need time to recuperate. Okay? Running ourselves into exhaustion isn't going to help anyone, especially Lincoln."
Leggy just nodded as tears ran down her face as well as Chris' shirt as Bubbles hugged her from behind.
Everyone looked up at the evening sky, hoping that Lincoln was alright.
Wherever he was.
"Lincoln, wherever you are. I hope that you're still alive." Milo said, summing up the rest of his new friends thoughts on the young boy perfectly.
Meanwhile in a mountain top where instead of snow, it was ash and smoke covering the whole mountain, miles upon miles away from civilization, Zing, (or rather what was left of him) splat down onto the ash concrete in heap of pain.
To say he was in an even worse condition than Lincoln was would be a massive understatement.
What was left of him was part of the left side of his head as most of his head and even his eye weren't there, his legs were blown off, his chest and his right arm, who was crawling on the ground.
"The Exiles... ruined... EVERYTHING!" Zing managed to say through the pain before he threw up something.
It was a small phone-like device but it was a flat triangle in shape with a dark green circle in front of it.
"I never thought that it would come to this... but to k... kill the Exiles. I'll have to... call in... some assistance on a more... galactic level." Zing as he opened it like a compact mirror and began to press the a series of buttons on the communication device. "I just hope he'll help... an old friend out... in his... time of need."
With that hope in mind, he began to laugh like someone who has clearly lost their goddamn mind.
As he waited for the person on the other line to pick up, down below, he heard a familiar sound. Curious, he crawled his way to the edge to take a peek.
"Hello? What do we... have here?"
Looking down, he saw the Xenomorph queen that Lincoln and his friends fought thrashing around in a furious way as it wanted to get up but was to in pain to do so. The collar planted on it was now in pieces.
"The Xenomorph survived eh?" Zing asked. "Interesting. Perhaps I can this thing to my advantage too."
Sliding down onto the giant extra-terrestrial's long head with his device still in hand, the former emperor placed his hand on the beast's head.
"Stop!" Zing demanded.
Hearing the thought in it's head, the Xenomorph stopped.
"Now, get up!" Zing demanded again.
The Xenomorph queen did just that, albeit with a limp.
"I can't believe it, the Xenomorph is under my control. Oh, Lincoln and the others are so going down when I use this on them." Zing thought to himself with an evil smile.
Just then, his communication device went off.
Picking it up with his hand and placing it on the head of the giant, pissed off, alien. His contact's face was shown.
"Hello there..." Zing groaned as a twinge of pain shot through him. "We have a lot to..." He let out a cough which spat out some blood. "...discuss."
To be continued...
And there you have it. While all hell is breaking loose on Earth, on Zeenu the looming threat of Zing still lurks but at least they're given time to recover.
Speaking of the former alien emperor, who is this mysterious benefactor that he is contacting?
And with both Lincoln, Roger and Eclipsa all currently out of commission, (the former two being currently MIA and the latter being put into a comatose state due to exhaustion) how will the rest of the Exiles fare when they have to cross paths with Zing once more, who now has the Xenomorph queen who also survived the crash and whatever his benefactor has up his sleeve?
Also, Leni, Hekapoo, Amethyst, and the others with them survive this harsh new world and find out where the Exiles are?
Speaking of Lincoln and Eclipsa, are the two of them going to come out of their near death state in time to rejoin their friends and put an end to Zing's reign once and for all?
Find out soon enough next time on "The Exiles"!
