Chapter 29: A Whole New World: Part 2!

On a spaceship fleet in another galaxy...

As a fleet of extra-terrestrial spaceships were flying through the cosmos, seemingly with a purpose, something was occurring on the massive mothership.

A short, red skinned, light blue eyed alien man was sitting on his throne in front of a desk. For the past two hours, he was answer phone calls and transmissions for different reasons, be it for some weapons he was having his men manufacture or some family calls.

Now seemingly done for now, the alien felt rather bored as he stared out of his window into the vastness of space.

Suddenly, one of his communication devices went off as it began to ring and flash.

"Oh, thank goodness. I was almost falling asleep here." The little red man said as he picked up the device and opened it, causing him to cover his eyes as a hologram of the person on the other line.

"Who is this?" The alien said, seemingly not recognizing his friend/customer.

It was the incredibly injured (and possibly near death) Zing, who was looking really worse for wear.

"It's... (coughs) me, Drek!" The alien said, coughing up some purple blood due to his injuries. "Zing."

"Zing?!" The alien said in surprised. "What happened to you?!"

"Nice to see you too, old friend." Zing began as a twinge of pain shot through him. "We have a lot to..." He then coughed up some blood. "discuss."

From there, Zing (still in pain) explained to the red business alien everything that has recently happened over the last few weeks. From how Lincoln and his friends were captured by his ship, the multiple coliseum fights, how his underestimation of the Exiles led to his downfall, the loss of his subjects and their loyalty, and the destruction of both his ship and the rocket that his enemies were in when his ship abducted them.

"So, let me see if I got this right?" Drek began, rubbing the side of his head to ease his surprise. "In the span of three weeks, you not only lost your empire as well as your highly technologically advanced spaceship, with only a few guards and a prisoner or two still loyal to you to some degree. But it was all planned and led by a human and a bunch of inferior lifeforms? Not just that, but their leader is a human, but a human child, no less?"

"Yeah." Zing said, feeling his regeneration begin to kick in. "All because I underestimated them."

Upon hearing that, Drek began to laugh out loud at his friend's misfortune... much to the former emperor's annoyance, though he couldn't help but think that he more or less deserved it.

After 5 straight minutes of nonstop, irritating laughter, the alien benefactor finally stopped laughing as he wiped a tear from his eyes. "Oh Zing, you truly are entertaining with what you get yourself into."

"Yeah, yeah, laugh it up." Zing said, rolling his one good eye. "Anyways, I need your help."

"Of course." Drek said, getting back on track. "Depends on what do you need."

"Well, firstly..." Zing coughed up some even more blood before continuing as half of his head was smoking, indicating that the regeneration was continuing but at a slow pace. "Sorry, I need you to find out where I am. I know I'm on a mountain, but I don't know what planet I'm on. Think you can do that?"

"Sure. Just give me a bit." He said, typing into his friend's ship's last coordinates.

After a few minutes of searching through some of the databases that survived but were either too damaged to get any info from them or ineligible to translate and process, Drek managed to make out a traceable position on whatever planet Zing is currently on as the result popped up on his ship's holographic screen.

"Okay, after a few minutes of searching through your recordings and archives," Drek began as he began to zero in on Zing's location. "it appears that you are on the planet known as Zeenu. A planet of danger and incompetence."

"Count me lucky." Zing said as the side of his head finished regenerating as he sat up a bit. "Anyway, I need a fleet of some of your best ships."

"Depends. How big do you need it to be?" The red alien asked.

"As big enough to intimidate planets like this one." Zing said before then asking. "Tell me Drek. Has your company created any new weapons recently?"

Smirking, the red otherworldly arms dealer said. "Depends on what variety are you talking about with this weapon?"

Zing's smile widen at his friend as a plan began to form in his recently regenerated head. A plan motivated by anger, pettiness but most of all...

A cold dish of revenge!

Meanwhile, with Leni, Bismuth, Steve and everyone that is with them...

Elise ran towards the massive creature as she ran behind and delivered a thunderous roundhouse kick to the back of one of the beast's legs, causing it to growl as it stumbled a little as Bismuth slammed her hammer-like fists on the ground as a massive fissure was forming from the impact as it began to spread towards the giant creature as the space in the ground widened causing one of its four legs fell into it.

Once the beast was stuck, Amethyst spun herself into a ball-like form before rolling towards her large adversary's ugly mug, slamming herself directly into the spot between its eyes, causing it to roar in pain to the sky.

"How do you like that, you overgrown porcupine?!" Amethyst shouted at it before summoning two whips and quickly wrapping them around the reptilian looking monster before yelling to Hekapoo. "You're up, redhead!"

Hekapoo summoned up to 15 weak but magically skilled clones of herself as she lead them toward the backside of the beast.

"CHARGE!" She shouted, raising her scissors like a sword she led her clones toward the thrashing monstrosity, struggling to get free of the small quartz' medieval restraining weapons.

They all jumped into the air, letting out war cries as they tried to cut the spines of the creature, but for some reason, they weren't getting clipped.

"Oh come the heck on!" one of Hekapoo's clones said, annoyed.

"What's wrong?" Peridot said, levitating her metallic lid next to her.

"It's not cutting for some reason." Another Hekapoo clone said.

"Gonna have to try something else." The clone next to her said.

Suddenly, all of the clones as well as the real Hekapoo all jumped high into the air. Once they were high enough, they all used their super speed to form a circle in the sky that quickly manifested into a red vortex that began to rain down streams and balls of fire onto the monster, causing Bismuth and Peridot to scatter to avoid the firestorm as the beast roared in pain.

However as Hekapoo and her clones were succeeding in injuring the beast, what they didn't realize was that it burning through Amethyst's whips.

Amethyst's eyes widened she saw her whips begin to burn from the assault of fire.

"Yo, redhead! Stop!" She shouted. "You're burning my whips!"

But it was no use as Hekapoo and her clones could not hear her due to the loudness of the beast's roars.

But it was too late as the whips snapped like twigs.

Despite the extremely intense pain the monster was in, it began to formulate a plan in its mind.

Focusing the energy from within, the spines on the beast's back began to glow a gold color as suddenly, four of them shot up into the air forcing Hekapoo and her clones to stop their attack in order to avoid them.

"Was that it?" The real Hekapoo asked rather smugly.

However, that was it as seconds later the spines began to lock together as they then spun rapidly in a circle before firing a large beam of energy down the unsuspecting magic woman.

Clyde, who was watching the battle alongside the other humans, saw the beam heading towards Hekapoo who did not seem to notice it.

"Heads up!" He shouted.

However it was too late as Hekapoo as well as her clones were hit by the beam full on, causing the clones caught in it to disappear in a puff of smoke and sending the real Hekapoo to let out a scream of gut-wrenching pain as she was sent hurdling towards the ground.

Ronnie Anne noticing that Hekapoo was going to possibly die from a fall of that height, spoke up.

"We have to do something! I don't think she's going to survive that fall."

"But what can we do?" Steve asked.

"We should try to catch her or at least cushion her fall!" The young tomboy said as she began to run towards the battlefield. "Come on! We don't have much time!"

"Wait, Ronnie, hold on!" Bobby said as she ran after her with Clyde, Leni, Luan, Lana and Lucy following him to help their fellow citizen.

"Stop, you're going to get hurt!" Francine said before she set Klaus' bowl on the ground as she and the rest of the family ran after her as well.

"Whoa, whoa, kid! Wait!" Dr. D said in concern as he ran after her with Melissa, Diogee and Zack following her.

Agent P shot his grappling hook, wrapping the line around the beast five times before the end of it stuck the the wall of the canyon.

"Hey, purple lady!" Ronnie Anne shouted to Amethyst, getting her attention. "That redhead woman is falling, I have an idea thar requires your strength."

Possibly realizing what the little girl's plan was Amethyst nodded. "Okay, okay, I'm willing to help."

"Okay, everyone hold hands quick!" The young girl quickly ordered.

Bobby instantly grabbed his little sister's hand, then Dr. D grabbed his hand, Elise ran over and grabbed his hand, then Francine grabbed her hand, Luan grabbed her hand, Jeff grabbed her hand, Hayley grabbed his hand, Lana grabbed her hand, Melissa grabbed her hand, Steve grabbed her hand, Lucy grabbed his hand, Leni grabbed her hand, Steve grabbed her hand, Zack grabbed his hand, Clyde grabbed onto his hand and Amethyst summoned another whip and wrapped around Ronnie's arm.

"Here we go!" The mature gem said as she began to spin the human lasso before launching it at the free falling scissor forger.

Getting as close at they can, Clyde, Zack and Luan managed to grabbed a hold of the unconscious Hekapoo.

"Okay, we got her!" Zack said, signaling Amethyst to reel them in.

"Hang on!" Amethyst said as she pulled her whip back as hard as she could.

"Incoming!" Melissa shouted as she as well as everyone else else ended accidentally slamming into Amethyst, knocking them all to the ground.

"Good... catch." Dr. D said before falling to the ground in a heap, passing out upon doing so.

Ronnie then grabbed a hold Hekapoo's right in order to feel a pulse... which she luckily did.

"She's still alive, just knocked out." Ronnie Anne said with a sigh of relief.

Bismuth then jumped as high into the air before enlarging her hammer fists to the size of vehicle trailers, bringing it down on the monster's head to finally knock it unconscious.

The monster noticing what the gem was going to do, attempted to blast a beam of black energy that capable of obliterating anything it hits, from its mouth.

Peridot however, refused to let that happened as she used her trashcan lid to uppercut the monster, causing it fire the beam up into the sky.

Back with Zing, after his talk with Drek, he was currently riding the Xenomorph Queen through an industrial site when heard the noise, looking over at the beam of energy shooting into the sky in the distance.

"That's interesting." Zing said as he began to lead his monstrous minion towards the occurrence. "Perhaps I can use that to my advantage."

Back in the city, the emperor was currently giving Globgor and his friends that were with him. Eclipsa wasn't with them due to Globgor putting her into one the city's medical tents.

Hey, Zeenu was still at war after all.

"And that is the city's capital." The emperor said, pointing to a statue of himself.

Suddenly, they all heard something in the distance. Turning around, everyone gasped in shock.

A massive beam of energy of launched into the sky.

"What the heck is that?!" A random citizen said.

"My guess, a fight's going on there." Jasper said.

"As long as they're away from the city, that's good."Globgor said.

Everyone had uncertain looks on their faces as they stared in shock at what was happening in the distance.

In the cave, the stranger was watching over the still unconscious Lincoln. Hopefully, he'll wake up soon.

Suddenly, the cave began to rumble.

"Nesmith!" said a new voice as the person rushed into his cave.

Looking over he saw a beautiful, blue female alien dressed in what appeared to be tribal attire.

"Aseefa, it's been a while. Nesmith said, happy to see a friend of his. "What are you doing here?" He asked as he got up.

"You might want to come see this." The warrior-like alien said.

Confused, Nesmith ran out of the cave.

Unbeknownst to the two of them, the cave rumbling from you know what, caused Lincoln to stir a bit as he began to awake...

Roger was outside the city when he saw the massive beam of energy shoot up into the sky, causing him to stop. This happened for a few seconds before it dissipated.

"Holy crap!" The alien said in shock before he snapped out of it. "No, no. I can't stop now! My friends need me!"

He then continued to head towards the city...

"Thanks, Peri." Bismuth said as she managed to slam her fists down on the beasts head, the resulting shock wave nearly knocked anyone over and finally knocking the beast out as it fell to the floor in a heap.

"Wow, I'm surprised that we managed to survive that." Clyde said.

"Same, dude." Jeff said.

Bobby easily grabbed his sister and tightly embraced her. "¡No me asustes así, Nie-Nie! ¡Eso fue realmente imprudente de tu parte! Usted Tonta!" He scolded her in Spanish.

"Sorry Bobby, I saw an opportunity and took it." The young tomboy said, tearing up a bit as she embraced her brother.

"Look, Hekapoo's waking up." Klaus said.

Looking over, everyone saw the scissor forger begin to sit up, rubbing her head.

"Ugh, did anyone get the number of the carriage?" She asked as she looked over at the beast.

"I suggest we get moving before another giant beast shows up." Hayley said as she picked up Klaus' bowl.

"Yeah, but are we, like, even going the right way?" Leni said as she helped Hekapoo on her feet.

"Only way to find is to continue to go along this path." Elise said, pointing to the direction where the beast came from before it attacked them.

Zack, Melissa and Agent P picked up the still unconscious Doofenshmirtz and began to carry him as they all began to walk.

Everyone began to walk along the canyon path, unbeknownst to them, Zing was looking over them as he rode on top the head of his alien minion, having over heard their conversation.

"Hmm, those must be some of Lincoln's sisters and some of the Exiles' friends?" Zing theorized. "Well, time to interrogate them."

Zing then commanded the Xenomorph to jump down, landing right in front of the group in a dust cloud.

"Whoa!" Elise said in shock as she gazed upon the opposition in front of her.

"Oh great, what now?" Lana said in annoyance.

After the dust vanished, the group gasped in terror at the sight before them.

"Is that what I think is it?" Peridot said as she fell off her trashcan lid and onto her butt in a moment of surprise.

"There's no denying it, P-dot." Bismuth said as she backed away a little.

Amethyst, noticing the distress her teammates were in, asked in confusion. "Uh, dudes? You mind telling what the heck this giant thing is?"

"That's a Xenomorph, the second most dangerous race in the universe!" The tiny, green said as she cowered behind her trashcan lid as a makeshift shield.

"Don't look now, but I think that's Roget riding it." Jeff said as backed away.

"Hello there. I am not Roger. I am Zing." Zing said with a tone that sent shivers down the spines of the people literally beneath him. "Do you mind assisting me with something?"

"Depends, what is it exactly?" Melissa asked, not liking where this is going.

"I intend on luring some enemies of mine out." Zing began as the Xenomorph queen got into its traditional fighting stance. "You guys are in a plan I have goes south."

"And by enemies, you mean..." Bobby began as he ushered Clyde and Ronnie to get behind him.

"Lincoln and the people that are with him, yes." Zing confirmed.

"Linky's here?!" Leni said, relieved that she and her sisters have a potential chance to make things right with him.

"What about Milo, is he here too?" Zack asked in a desperate tone.

"What about Dan and Chris, are they alive?" Elise said as she was seconds away from having a emotional breakdown.

"Eclipsa? Globgor? Meteora?" Hekapoo asked with a hint of concern.

"Perhaps. They managed to get off the except for Lincoln, who chose to play 'hero' and crash and destroy both of our ships. " Zing said. "So whaddya say?"

"I say..." Bismuth began rather disturbingly calm as she transformed her hands into giant hammers once again, this time to the size 2 story houses as regained her confidence. "You must be out of your mind!"

Bismuth then slammed her hammers down, causing a massive dust cloud, blinding Zing and the Xenomorph and the people below them to cover their eyes.

"Hekapoo, use your strange portal making scissors and get us out of here now!" The large gem commanded.

"You read my mind, sister." Hekapoo said as she cut up a portal as the dust began to clear up.

Blinking a few times, Zing cleared his vision and saw the portal.

"Come on, let's go!" Francine shouted as she saw Zing lead the Xenomorph to charge forward.

"Oh no, you don't! Tail slam!" Zing commanded the Xenomorph as it slammed it's skeletal, sharpened tipped tail down onto the ground.

The result sent the group flying into different directions as Lana, her three sisters, Clyde, Ronnie, Steve, Peridot, Melissa, the unconscious Dr. D, Elise and Hekapoo through the portal as it closed and sent everyone else into the left or right walls of the canyon, nearly knocking most of them out.

"Now, where were we?" Zing said as he glared down at his soon to be prisoners...

As Lana, Leni, Luan, Lucy, Clyde, Ronnie, Steve, Peridot, Melissa, the unconscious Dr. D, Elise and Hekapoo were sent flying the portal, where exactly will the end of it lead them?

What will happen to Bobby, Francine and those with them now that they have encountered Zing, their friend's (or brother in Lincoln's case or fellow gem in Jasper's case) sworn enemy?

What plan have Zing and his benefactor Drek chose to do?

Whatever it is, can the Exiles reunite in time to stop it?

Find out next time on "The Exiles"!
