An hour after the fight
Drayu was flying back to base, happy about what he did to Kuuga, even if he didn't kill him. He landed back on the ground before changing back to his human form and walked to the base. He entered the main room where the others were waiting. Terobi, And Yuyla weren't there because they wanted to see what the linto's were like.
Baruba: So, your back. I hope you killed enough for me?
Drayu: Of course I did Lady Baruab.
Drayu showed his Bracelet which had 20 beads flipped over.
Baruba: Good, you only have 38 hours left until you are disqualified from the Gegaru, let's see how you handle such a difficult situation.
Drayu: Disqualified? What happens when that happens?
Jakal: Simple, You die. Lord Daguva has no need for weaklings who can't handle the simplest of games.
Drayu: Weakling, as far as I'm concerned I'm the strongest one Zu member here.
Jakal: Are you? I completed my gegaru thousands of years ago, you were just born. Terobi, Yuyla, and even Gooma can advance faster than you.
Jakal then grabs Drayu fist as he went to punch him, before twisting it, and grabbing Drayu's throat, Jakal having a sadistic smile on his face while doing so.
Jakal: You have no power over us. Complete your gegaru and we will see just how strong you actually are.
Jakal than let go and walked away, making sure no Linto were spying on them. Drayu growled at him before he was held back by vines.
Baruba: Jakal is correct, you will be killed, Drayu. Lord Daguva watches the Gegaru and demands absolute strength, and if you don't show it, you will die, as many Grongi before you died by his hand and others.
(With Yuyla)
Yuyla was walking around, observing the machines the Linto created, metal carriages, large buildings, if she hadn't a moved up to a Me, she would have used the Linto as inspiration for many Grongi weapons and items. Yuyla than saw the Linto exchange some kind of paper and small metal circles to get some clothes, food and other useless junk. She felt a familiar presence behind her and turned around.
Haxus: It's mesmerizing, Isn't it Yuyla?
Yuyla: Haxus. It's wonderful to see you.
Haxus: As you, my dear. What are you doing out here?
Yuyla: To see how these... People operate, and what mechanisms they made.
Haxus: Indeed, some of them are really intriguing, others seem useless but they use it for whatever purposes.
Yuyla: I hope that many great things come from this, Haxus.
Haxus: Oh it will my dear, you will simply have to wait.
Haxus then walked away from Yuyla, disappearing into the crowd. Yuyla meanwhile had a smile on her face, ready to see more of what the Linto had to offer.
(With Terobi)
Terobi had a scowl on his face, causing many Linto to get out of his way. He hated how much the Linto have now grown in size. He would cull them all if he had the chance. All the noise they made, from their incessant talking, to the noises their metal contraption made. He didn't care who got in his way and kept walking. Terobi needed to know just how much the Linto had grown but he had enough of this place and it's noise and headed back to the factory.
(At the Lab)
Bulk was currently sleeping on a medical bed, no bandages, nothing as his wound was currently healing, but more slowly than it should be. He was being watched from the outside of the room. Phenomenus, Keeter, Jackson and even Mark, with his left arm in cast, were all there.
Phenomenus: So, this boy can change as well.
Jackson: That's what the officers who brought him in told me, that he was this Gills, Mr. Skullovitch told us about.
Mark: Kid kept secrets from us, Again! How do you expect us to continue working with him if he kept something like this away from us?
Jackson: I keep telling you, Mark. Until the G3 project is complete, and operational, Mr. Skullovitch and now Mr.Bulkmeier, are the only way of battling the ULF.
Mark: Sir, he obviously doesn't trust us with this kind of information, this is something that we should've known about.
Keeter: And for what, Mark? What good would it do us if he even told us about Mr.Bulk here? As far as I'm concerned nothing has changed, now we know who this Gills is. The only thing that changed is now we have two allies who are able to destroy the ULF.
Keeter saw that Bulk was starting to wake up and headed inside of the room. He sat down on a chair beside the bed. Bulk got up, groggy and feeling a slight pain on the right side of his chest.
Keeter: So, how are you doing my boy?
Bulk: Like I've been in an accident.
Keeter: You were attacked by a ULF, and stabbed.
Bulk: Yeah, I remember, how did I get here?
Keeter: Some officers brought you here after they found you fighting some ULF.
Bulk: Are they alright?
Keeter: Very much so, from what I heard, this ULF was a lot different from the ones Mr.Skull faced.
Bulk: Dammit, I let him get away.
Keeter: You'll get him one day, but enough of that, tell me, how did you do it?
Bulk: Do what?
Keeter: Your transformation into Gills?
Bulk: I don't know exactly, but it began when the ULF attacks began. I suppose I was the next victim, but something saved me that day, I don't know what but it kept me alive.
Keeter: Meaning an outside force kept you alive and allowed you to have these powers?
Bulk: Yes, Maybe, I don't remember that day clearly or how I got these powers, as far as I'm concerned that's what happened.
A brief figure is seen outside the window, looking at Bulk with curious eyes before disappearing.
(At Skull's house)
Skull got his way home after the fight, and his head was still hurting but not as much as before and he felt tired. He got in the house and sat on his couch. He couldn't think straight, the only thought in his mind being what the green armour does in combat. His ears, his eyes, they hurt from the green armour. His mother and sister both heard him come in and saw him exhausted.
Skull's mom: What wrong, Skull?
Skull: Just exhausted from today.
Mom: What were you doing that left you exhausted?
Skull: Oh well, I have a job right now, just to keep my mind off what is happening.
Mom: Oh, I didn't know about this, where are you working?
Skull: Helping down at the lab, mostly just an assistant, but concerning the attacks, it's getting stressful.
Mom: How come you never told me about this?
Skull: I didn't tell you because I knew you would get worried about me working at the lab.
Mom: Of course I would be worried, your working with dangerous equipment. What's there not to worry about?
Skull: Mom, I'm not in danger, I'm only an assistant, I have no reason to use any of their equipment.
Mom: Ok, but just tell me about this stuff sooner, ok?
Skull: Alright, Mom.
His mom left him in the living room. He then thinks about how to keep his family safe, Hoping they wouldn't be targeted. He then gets up and heads to his room.
(That very night)
Drayu Decided to head out and get more kills, Protetus not caring, as long as he killed his targets. Drayu flew up high in the sky, finding his targets before deciding to have some fun. He shot one of his targets in the leg, cracking the bone in half, causing the woman to scream loudly in pain. Drayu enjoyed watching her scream before he aimed at her head and fired. The bolt hit its mark, this time staying inside of the target instead of going straight through the body and lodging itself into the ground. He than flew away and had a sadistic smile on his face. He then landed on a building and saw a teen with their father, two for one and took aim. His bolt went straight through the son and father's neck.
Drayu: This is great, no wonder they enjoy doing this.
Baruba: Indeed.
Drayu: Ah! Lady Baruba. I didn't know you were here.
Baruba: I am a monitor of this game, Young Drayu. It's my role to watch all participants of the Gegaru.
Drayu: Well, these Linto? Is that what you call them? Never mind, they won't be able to stop me, come tomorrow I will advance and show how wrong they were for underestimating me.
Drayu then flew off to get a little bit of sleep before heading out once more. Protetus meanwhile was observing a seed holder, not attacking them, only seeing what kind of power they have.
(The next day)
Bulk was currently in class with Skull. He kept his mind straight but sometimes he drifted off and thought about the lords that came after him. Skull headache and his eyes and ears were fine right now, and then he saw Jessica, and knowing that the Grongi are after her and her father potentially, took Bulk and told him.
Skull: Listen, you need to keep an eye on Jessica alright, the Grongi are after her and Mr. Keeter.
Bulk: Why?
Skull: I don't know, but stay with her, she knows you a lot more than she knows me, and your just like me, so keep them safe.
Bulk: Alright, just tell me what to do.
Skull: Try and keep her from going to more open areas, it may be looking for the right moment to strike, and keep moving, it will shoot from the sky.
Skull goes to his class and Bulk goes to his.
(After school)
Bulk asked Jessica if he could come to her house, and while she did agree, they would instead be going to her dad's lab. They made it there on Bulk's dirt bike after he fixed most of the damage after Protetus knocked him off.
Keeter: Bulk? Jessica? What are you doing here?
Jessica: I came to help dad, I know you need it.
Bulk: Listen, Skull told me that he thinks Jessica is a target for the Grongi.
Keeter: What? Why?
Bulk: I don't know, but something has them targeting her, you need to keep her close to the school and the lab, Skull and I are going to try and-
Professor Phenomenus soon walks up to them.
Phenomenus: Ah Bulk, I was hoping you would come by, I have a few ideas I want to work out with you. How would you like a prototype version of the trychaser, not as fast as the one Skull has but it can keep up?
Bulk: I mean, I already have a dirt bike, and mom would ask why I have a second one.
Phenomenus: Ah, I have a better idea now, we'll upgrade your bike to trychaser standards, increasing its speed. We could even give you a similar helmet to Skull as well.
Bulk: That sounds great, Professor, when can I happen?
Phenomenus: Well, we could give you the helmet today, but your bike upgrades will take a longer time.
Keeter meanwhile is looking all over his notes and finds that certain notes have been left at his house, and talks to the Professor.
Keeter: Listen, Professor, I need to get some of my notes from my house, it's pivotal that I get them.
Phenomenus: Very well, but hurry back, we have the next experiment for the G3 system.
Keeter takes Jessica and heads to his vehicles not noticing that Protetus is watching them. He growls at the appearance of Jessica and goes back down into the water puddle.
(With Drayu)
Drayu knew that his time was coming up, but he only needed 15 more kills before he could advance, and show just how strong he was to the rest of the Grongi. He saw Jessica and her Father leave their house and decided to follow them before feeling the energy of Kuuga and staying just to see his face. He lands on a tall building and sees Skull leaving a store with a few bags, and tying them to his bike. Drayu smiles, now he knows who to hunt last. He jumps off and Heads towards Jessica, knowing that this will deeply hurt Kuuga. He goes down and grabs Jessica before flying away with her. He lands down on a beach and ties her up.
Drayu: Perfect bait, now to set it.
Drayu flies away from the beach, but not before intentionally attracting the attention of beach goers. Knowing that this will bring Kuuga in faster.
(With the Police)
Dispatch: Hello, what's your emergency?
Caller: Yes, one of those ULF is here at the beach, it's got some girl with him.
Dispatch: Where are they?
Caller: The girl is at Deleon beach, alone, I think it intends on drowning her. Please hurry.
Dispatch: Yes sir. All units be advised, a sighting has been confirmed, ULF #6 has been sighted at Deleon beach. Someone get lieutenant-
Keeter than busts through the door and heads to offices. Some officers try to stop him but he enters anyway, looking for Stone.
Keeter: Stone, I need your help, a ULF has taken Jessica.
Stone: Mark and I were about to go over to where it was last seen, come with us.
(At the lab)
Bulk is currently having the helmet fitted to his head, before hearing in his ear.
Stone: This is Car 11K heading down to confirm the appearance of ULF #6 and his captive at Deleon beach.
Dispatch: Alright, Car 11k, the captive has been confirmed to be Jessica Keeter.
Stone: We know, we have her father with us.
Bulk takes off the helmet, and hands it back to Phenomenus.
Bulk: Are you able to finish the upgrades while I'm gone?
Phenomenus: Yes, but where are you going?
Bulk: Jessica has been kidnapped, I need to get down there.
Bulk then runs out of the building and gets his bike started before driving towards the beach.
(With Skull)
Skull was driving towards his house with the grocery's his mom asked him to get, he got there and set them inside of his house when he suddenly got a call from the station.
Dispatch: Kuuga, The ULF has been sighted where the last sighting of it was. The police have already restricted access to the area. You are given clearance to find it and destroy it.
Skull: Understand Dispatch, Kuuga out.
Skull drives towards the area, hoping to destroy Drayu this time. Skull then sees the barricade had been set up. He drove through the barricade, before seeing a shadow above him and slowed down, showing Drayu was trying to attack him from the Air before Drayu landed on a light post above him. Drayu had an arrogant smirk on his face.
Drayu: So, you think that metal horse can keep up with me?
Skull: It kept up with ULF#5.
Drayu: Ah yes, this kept up with whoever Zalash was. No matter, my next kill will be the last one, and one that shall hurt you deeply, that girl you and your fat friend made friends with. After that, I shall kill you myself.
Drayu opened his wings before jumping off and heading off towards Jessica.
Skull started the Trychaser before trying to follow Drayu but like he said, Skull lost sight of him when he went higher. Skull was trying to get to Jessica's house. He went to the house and tried knocking.
Skull: Mr.Keeter, Jessica! Are you home?!?!
He looked inside the window and saw nothing, he then put the helmet on and asked dispatch.
Skull: This is Kuuga, calling in to know where Franklin Keeter and his daughter are.
Dispatch: Hold on one second. They were last sighted with Farkas Bulkmeier and Lieutenant Stone at Deleon beach.
Skull started the trychaser before heading towards the beach. He tried to radio Stone but he got nothing. He sped up before seeing a shadow appear above him and tried to stop but a bolt was lodged in his shoulder and he heard laughter. He rips out the bolt and still heads towards the beach. He gets Off and sees all four of them.
Skull: Bulk! Stone!
Bulk and Stone hears his screams and sees Skull, who is pointing to the air
Skull: Get them out of here! Now!
Bulk then grabs Jessica and gets her out of the way, a bolt striking where she was. Skull sees Stone getting out His Gun and runs down towards them. Skull summons his belt.
Skull: Henshin!
All around him, wind started flowing, surrounding him with sand before it stopped and showed him in the Pegasus form
Kuuga: Stone, toss me your gun.
Stone throws the gun at Kuuga, who caught it! The gun changed when He caught it. Now it is the Pegasus bow gun. Kuuga listened closely to his surroundings, the crashing of the waves and wind blowing before hearing a familiar whistle. Kuuga is able to catch the bolt before it could even touch him or the ground with two fingers. He than heard the buzzing noise of Drayu's wings and pulls back the hammer before aiming at Drayu, seeing him clearly, and firing. Drayu tried to move but he was hit on the chest, showing a symbol, causing cracks to appear across his body, and causing the belt buckle to crack as well.
Drayu: No! I was meant to be the strongest!!
Drayu fell straight down into the water. Kuuga looked at where he fell before a small explosion occurred, telling Kuuga that he killed him. Kuuga turned back into his red armour before giving Stone his gun. Kuuga's armour then disappears and Skull than sat on the sand, tired from that ordeal.
Skull: That takes care of that one.
(With Rita)
Rita watched from her room, and decided to help Daguva a bit.
Rita: Not so, Kuuga. Magic staff, make that monster grow!!!!
She than throws the staff towards earth. Energy surrounds it while it falls.
(Back on earth)
Skull was still tired from fighting Drayu, while Stone was getting ready to take both Keeter and Jessica back home while Bulk decided to stay as well. Out of nowhere, they all see a staff crash into the water. In a bright flash of light, Drayu had re-emerged from the ocean this time much bigger. Skull couldn't believe what was happening in front of him, as none of the other ULF did this when they died. He knew he couldn't beat him now.
(With Daguva)
Daguva was disappointed in Drayu, hoping that something like him would be able to beat Kuuga, but it seems it all for nothing. He than saw Rita's staff head towards Drayu's destroyed body, making it grow to tremendous size. Daguva than smirked, now enjoying what is going down on earth.
(With the Power rangers)
The team were waiting for any of Rita's minions like any other day but it seems she has gone into hiding since the Grongi showed up. Billy, Jason and Trini were listening to the radio ever since the police revealed the Grongi to the public.
Zach: How are we meant to fight the Grongi when we could barely damage it? Only our strongest attacks can do so, and those drain a lot of energy.
Jason: We train, its the only way we would be able to handle the strain those abilities give us.
Kimberly went to speak but they heard the ground rumble beneath them, and saw Drayu walking towards the city, as tall as a skyscraper.
Jason: Looks like it's up to us now, Guys. Let do it Tyrannosaurus!!
Zach: Mastodon!!
Trini: Sabertooth Tiger!!
Kimberly: Pterodactyl!!
Billy: Triceratops!!
They all turned into their ranger forms and called upon all their Zords, they all came and the rangers piloted them. Jason commanded the group.
Jason: Ok guys, we need to take this Grongi down! Hit it with everything you got.
Everyone: Alright/ Ok!!
Billy charged first and went for Drayu's leg, hoping to bring him down. Drayu slammed into the ground before Grabbing the Triceratops and throwing them away. Kimberly shot Drayu in the back, damaging his wings and keeping him from flying. Drayu fired his bolt, nearly bringing Kim down but she managed to dodged the bolt. Zach also charged but freeze's Drayu's leg to the ground, holding him in pace for a few seconds, with Zach digging the tusk's into Drayu's side, Trini jumps on the back of Drayu, clawing at it. He grabs Trini's zord by the tail and uses it to bat Zach away, throwing them both away. He than shot at Kim and nicked one of the wings. Jason than bit down on the arm, managing to destroy the biological weapon, before Sweeping Drayu's legs. He was than kicked away by Drayu.
Billy: This isn't working, we need to use the Megazord if we have any chance of beating this thing!
All of the Zords soon charge together while the Triceratops and Sabertooth tiger merge with the T-Rex and the Mastodon forms into cannons, they all stop and all the zords soon rise up, with the sabertooth and Triceratops forming legs and the Mastodon forming arms, soon the Pterodactyl folds in on itself, with a new head emerging from the chest of the T-Rex.
Jason: Alright, let's give this Grongi the battle it wants!
The Megazord calls upon its sword before running at Drayu, first punching him and than trying to slash at his chest and arm. Drayu manages to block one of the slashes while dodging the other, he than grabs the megazord's wrist, and than punches it in the chest. It falls to the ground slashed Drayu across his chest, injuring him further, before going for another slash but Drayu tries to block it with his arm, but it cuts right through, severing it.
Drayu: Ahhhhhh!!!
Drayu is then stabbed through the chest, and feels energy build up from his belt before he explodes, damaging the ground beneath him and the side of the mountains, miraculously not causing a landslide. The rangers see what they have done and are relieved that they did not allow Drayu in the city. Skull and Bulk were watching the fight from afar, happy that they were able to finish what Skull started.
(Well, I'm just going to admit it, I procrastinated a lot to finish this chapter, due to me trying to figure out the scenes, the writing and just all around laziness, oh and my new story that I'm also writing. So, tell me what you think about this chapter and if there are any mistakes.)
