Gateworlds Chapter 2

Well no one has left a review so I will just start the chapter.

:Chapter Start:

SGC-Carter's Lab-One hour before they return to Sera.

Carter was currently packing up some equipment to take with them to Sera with the help of Daniel and the Tok'ra support leader, Anise/Freya, a Caucasian woman with brown hair and body forming tan leather. Daniel was explaining what little history he was able to learn of on Sera when Anise spoke, "Well according to the limited knowledge you have found I would say that the Goa'ald would be one of three, all were either killed except one who has not been heard of for over three thousand years she was the competitor in a sense in the creation of the perfect host. Her name was Shou Hsing."

"Chinese god of Longevity," Daneil answered easily before commenting, "Wait was she attempting immortality?"

Anise frowns before stating, "Not that I am aware of, all of her notes on the experiments were taken by Nirrti, and what she could not take was destroyed so no one else could use the knowledge the only issue was that Shou Hsing concealed her homeworld from all."

"So Sera then," Carter states.

Daniel though asks, "What about all of the Jaffa she had following her?"

Anise frowns before stating, "Of everyone of her followers, they were programmed to forget all her secrets when told and they were devout followers who killed themselves over betrayal. In legend it was believed that her Jaffa could survive fatal wounds and keep fighting before dying completely."

Daniel frowns at that before Carter spoke, "Well fortunately we have a list of everything we are going to need. My prototype Naquada Generator with us, should allow us to give extra time to evacuate the planet."

Daniel then adds, "Or to destroy that city."

"It will depend on what our orders will be," O'Neill states as he entered the office with Teal'c and spoke, "Hammond contacted the President and the President has agreed with Colonel Hoffman. Though it means that Daniel will only have a couple hours to learn as much as he can about their history and help get them to decide what to bring with them."

Daniel frowns before saying, "They are willing to give up all their history."

O'Neill simply states, "Daniel, They are tired of fighting Daniel, it was so bad they released war criminals to fight for them and because they were running out of soldiers. And almost everyone of those criminals were in prison for disobeying orders and saving lives. So sorry if they are willing to forget their past to ensure they have a future and die of old age."

Daniel sighs and says, "Yeah, I guess that actually does make more sense on an ethical way."

O'Neill simply says, "Plus, out of everyone on Sera, only one person is wanting to stay on Sera. One hour we are heading to Sera to give Jacob and Bra'tak time to reach Sera with our two new spaceships that I call dibs in naming by the way."

Carter asks, "What exactly will the plan be?"

O'Neill simply states, "Well the two teams have been sent to the Serian's replacement planet to transport several tents and in the twenty four hours before we start sending people through the Stargate on Sera."

Daniel then asks, "What plan will we have then?"

"We are taking four SG Teams with us to help defend the castle, we won't be able to send civilians through the gate for Twenty Four hours give our people time to set up facilities," O'Neill states before asking, "Why did the planet sound familiar?"

Carter answered, "It is the same planet Hathor tried to turn one of us into a host, sir."

"Is that safe?" O'Neill questioned quickly unsure he would like the answer.

"Besides it being the closest planet to Sera, it also has some structures and it has been considered as an Alpha site since these events brought it to the front of our list," Carter states before adding, "Plus it has Naquada Deposits that can used to make generators."

"Carter, what exactly do you intend for the nice people of Sera?" O'Neill jokingly asks.

"A stable new colony with a basic export to keep the President and the Russians happy," Carter counters getting an annoyed look from O'Neill before she adds, "Plus if we can develop the Naquada Generator to make it either smaller or increase the output, we could build a gun that could rival the Tollan Ion cannons."

"Why didn't you just say that," O'Neill states in annoyance while Carter just smiles.

"Though we are going to need a way to replicate what little of the Immusion we can collect for the Hammer of Dawn technology. That being said, we should get ready for the mission," Carter states as they shifted to finishing packing all of Carter's equipment easily to be transported to the gate with the help of some guards. Anise left quickly to return to the gate room with her two assistants ready to embark to Sera.

Two hours later-SGC Control room.

General Hammond was standing next to Walter as dialling began for the trip. Anise and SG1 were standing ready while two SG teams were waiting in the room fully loaded for the coming battle/Research mission. O'Neill looked to Anise and says, "Hey, for the start you should let Freya and your host handle the talking last thing we need is them shooting you for the scary voices."

Anise lowered her head before Freya the host spoke without s distorted voice, "Thank you for the warning Colonel."

"Yeah well, there is a theory that we need to check out. They described their queen sounding like Gao'ald," Daniel states.

Freya nods before stating, "Then we need to ensure they cannot reach the gate."

O'Neill simply says, "That is the plan, though we may be helping with the overthrow of their government."

General Hammond spoke up, "The President has agreed with Colonel Hoffman, Prescot is to be arrested if he fails to surrender his position."

O'Neill nods before stating, "Then Hopefully he won't fight it, there is about a few thousand angry civilians on our side."

Teal'c simply says, "You expect a rebellion?"

"Oh yeah, if Prescott decides to be a jerk," O'Neill states simply before commenting, "Though we have twenty four hours before our two new space ships for the trip."

Hammond then spoke, "Then SG-1, synchronise our watches people," with that O'Neill's three watches, Carter and Daniels' one each were activated at the same time giving them twenty four hours before they can move the civilians, "SG-1, you have go," as the Stargate activated and they contacted Sera and were able to begin their mission. Once the three SG Teams, To'kra and supplies, were Hammond Spoke, "Start sending the supplies over to the Beta site, I want at least a third of the supplies moved within the next three hours," with that Hammond went to his office to call the President.

Planet Sera-Ten minutes after travelling through the gate and after basic introductions.

O'Neill order the other SG Teams to go with some of the squads on the Local Air Craft, the King Raven and taken to the different districts to be defended. O'Neill was speaking with Hoffman handing him two of the watches, Prescott steps over and shouts, "These supplies will barely last my forces an hour, what are you thinking."

"A day on Earth," O'Neill states, "That is how long it will take for our ships to arrive through space," Prescott blinks but nods in understand. O'Neill then states, "Unfortunately we will need to hold off long enough for the ships to arrive for air support."

Prescott hums before stating, "We should look into moving the Stargate," he gestured to his guards to begin moving everything.

Carter being the smart one states, "Not yet, we will need the ship to move the Stargate without disabling the gate for use. Plus it is needed in case an Evacuation is required."

"Besides this is the only location where our air defence is strong enough so they can't get to the gate. Unless you have a location that does just that?" Hoffman asks, "You know to convince everyone here to listen to you."

Prescott frowns before finally admitting, "I have an island were some of the best scientists have been developing a weapon to destroy all Locust Forces."

Hoffman asks, "Who is leading this weapon research?"

"Doctor Pheonix," Prescott states before Hoffman drew his side arm and aimed at Precott. "Lower your weapon Hoffman, I can have you shot."

"And you just admitted that Doctor Pheonix is still alive. The same man that made the plan to sink our city and lose what we believed to be our last bastion of safety," Hoffman argued before revealing his radio that was on, "to the entire city."

Prescott's eyes widened before he shouts, "Kill him!" his guards tried to do just that only SG-1 and the Tok'ra had some protection in the form of Delta Sqaud, ambushing the four honour guards and unloading a couple clips of ammo into the Onyx Guards until they finally fell.

Prescott was still alive and tried to run to his helicopters only to be tackled by the Coal Train breaking the former Chairman's arm. While Delta team and Hoffman contacted all units Freya made a startling discovery, "Colonel!" she had removed the damaged helmet of an Onyx Guard resulting in the discovery of a mutated human like creature.

Marcus Pheonix suddenly shouts, "That is a locust."

Freya pulled out a medical scanning device and her eyes widened as she says, "This creature was once human or at least it's DNA was human with modification made to it, during the cloning process."

"Clones," O'Neill questions.

"This creature was less than two years old, Colonels," Freya states before she dips her head and Anise starts speaking, "It appears we were right in our assumption of which Goa'ald inhabited this planet," Dom, Baird and Marcus aimed their weapons at Anise before she lowered her head and Freya started speaking, "and it appears that Shou Hsing is still alive."

"Or a clone," Daniel states before looking to the majority of Delta Squad, Cole still pinning Prescott to the ground, "You can lower your weapons, Anise is the Host of a Tok'ra Symbiote, a willing partnership for both their survival."

"What is the deal with the voice?" Marcus questions, "Because it is the same as the Locust Queen."

O'Neill simply states, "The snakes in their heads mess with the voice to make it easier in showing who is talking."

"The racial slur not with-standing," Freya comments not appearing offended, "he is correct, mainly due to simple vibrations of the vocal cords. Either way we need to locate any remaining Goa'ald technology to assist with the evacuation of your people."

Marcus and Baird lowered their weapons only for Dom to have a stubborn look as he asks, "Then why should we trust you? In matter of fact, why not just kill you and parade your head to the locust?"

O'Neill was about to defend Freya only for Anise to speak, "If you truely feel that way, I will leave Freya's body to allow you some form of revenge."

Dom looked at her strangely only for O'Neill to state, "The Tok'ra are willing human hosts and a Symbiotic Snake that share the Host's body. Basically they are war between the wannabe gods to their freedom fighters."

Marcus whispers to Dom, "Come on Dom, at least let them help us before getting revenge, plus all the details first." Dom glares before growling and listening to his friend, Marcus then asks, "So what is the plan?"

Freya took over again before stating, "We need to use our equipment to scan for Ring Platforms and computer core. This will ensure that evacuation will have little difficulty and we may find out what the Locust Queen is planning."

"That being said, we better move, Carter, Daniel go with Freya and help them look. Teal'c help with the defence of the city. I am going to listen in on Prescott's monologue," O'Neill states.

"Jack," Daniel starts.

O'Neill though spoke up, "Daniel, we have two space ships that can hold a couple thousand people each to get them to a planet within range of this one. Along with as much equipment they could need to live on said planet. But the first step is holding out for a day. I refuse to leave anyone behind without reason. So go read your documents."

Baird decided to be a smart ass, "Well good news, I have had Jack scan as much of the archives as he can, along with a couple other drones. They should have collected everything we should need. We have also had a few of our scientists disconnect the hard drives and other data making them portable. Though we have been moving everything with King Ravens to push through the Stargate, fortunately we located some Construction SilverBacks." He points to the side where a few yellow construction vehicles that appear to walk instead of roll. Baird then goes on to say, "Fortunately we kept the Hammer of Dawn links still engaged and focusing on the city. How long to we can send people through the Gate?"

"Twenty four hours," Carter states shocking everyone, "That is how long the ships need to reach Sera and our advance team to prepare the location for the Refugees."

Hoffman sighs and says, "It will have to do, Pheonix, Santiargo take Teal'c to the front line. Baird go with our guests and Cole bring the former Chairman to his cell," with that everyone left to do their jobs.

T minus 23h 42m 10s until evacuations.
