Hello all Storm here with a new chapter! Here we'll be seeing Naruto settling onto Air Temple Island and interacting with Korra, Tenzin, and his family, before we get some more changes to canon. So, without further ado.

I own nothing

The next morning, Naruto woke up, tensing slightly at the unfamiliar surroundings before he began remembering everything that happened.

'Right, very far away from the Elemental Nations. I'm most likely in another dimension or…' Thought Naruto, sighing at still having no idea where exactly he was, before he got up.

After getting cleaned up and dressed, Naruto headed towards the dining hall, finding Korra and Tenzin already present along with who he guessed was Tenzin's family.

"Ah, Naruto you're up, please join us. This is my wife Pema along with our children Jinora, Ikki and Meelo." Tenzin introduced, with Pema smiling politely at the Uzumaki along with Jinora while Ikki and Meelo looked to be restraining themselves.

Having been told by their father to not bombard Naruto with questions about who he is, where he came from and what he can do. Given both children had been excited to learn that someone from outside the Four Nations was staying with them. An excitement that Jinora shared with her brother and sister, wanting to learn more about Naruto and where he came from, but was better at controlling herself.

"It's wonderful to meet you, Naruto." Said Pema, having heard about him from Tenzin, with Naruto nodding in thanks as he sat down besides Korra.

"It's nice to meet you all as well and thank you for letting me stay in your home, it really means a lot." Naruto replied while bowing his head before turning to Korra.

"So, how'd you sleep last night?" Asked Korra, curious to see how he's settling on the island.

"It was alright, though it took me a moment to remember where I was when I woke up." Naruto replied, the Avatar nodding at this.

"I know the feeling when I first arrived here, especially with how different everything was from the Southern Water Tribe. But it got easier with the familiar faces, plus having Naga here with me." Korra said, remembering everything that happened when she first arrived in Republic City.

"Naga?" Naruto asked, wondering who that was.

"Yeah, she's a polar bear dog and my best friend." Korra replied, with Naruto looking at her with a raised brow.

"A polar bear…dog?" Naruto said slowly, not sure what to think of that.

"Yep. They don't have them where you're from?" Korra asked, the Uzumaki shaking his head in response.

"No, we just have regular bears and dogs, no hybrid animals, which I'm guessing are common here." Naruto stated, Korra nodding in response.

"Yeah. In fact, regular animals are really rare, the last one I heard about was the pet bear of the former Earth King." Said Korra with a smirk, remembering Katara telling her about Team Avatar's time in Ba Sing Se and how they reacted to the Earth King having a pet bear, just a normal bear.

"I can imagine they'd be a sight to see, here." Said Naruto while only gaining more questions of what kind of world he's in.

While Tenzin and Pema both noticed how close Naruto and Korra seemed to be, the Master Airbender especially seeing it compared to yesterday.

"Well you two have certainly gotten closer. Were you perhaps hoping for another kiss Korra? Or did you want to try kissing her while awake Naruto?" Pema said with a teasing smile on her face, causing Naruto and Korra to blush in embarrassment.

"W-we-we're j-ju-just fr-f-fr-friends!" Said Korra quickly, not expecting Pema to tease them.

"Y-yeah, j-j-ju-just fr-friends t-ta-talking t-to each other!" Naruto added, with Pema merely smiling at them mischievously.

"Um, excuse me Naruto? If you don't mind me asking, what's your homeland like?" Jinora asked, wanting to find out more about a land outside the Four Nations, given how little information there was on them, now she had a chance to learn about a different land from someone who lived there.

Looking at the ten-year-old and seeing her curious and eager expression, seeing similar looks from the rest of her family and Korra, Naruto figured it wouldn't hurt to share some of the basics.

"The land I'm from is called the Elemental Nations, it's divided into dozens of different countries and nations, with the biggest five being the Land of Earth, the Land of Lightning, the Land of Water, the Land of Wind, and the Land of Fire which I'm from. In each country there would also be a Ninja Village, at least for most of them, I lived in Konohagakure in the Land of Fire. There was also Sunagakure in the Land of Wind, Kirigakure in the Land of Water, Iwagakure in the Land of Earth, and Kumogakure in the Land of Lightning." Naruto explained, much to their amazement.

"You were a Ninja?" Said Jinora in surprise that he was a Ninja.

"A better term would be warrior mercenary, as while we were trained to be stealthy and remain unseen when it called for it. Most of the time, we fought out in the open and were hired by clients to take on missions, which could range from simple tasks and chores to a lot more challenging ones that only higher ranked Ninja were allowed to take." Said Naruto, with Tenzin stroking his beard with a thoughtful frown.

"Are you absolutely sure there was no record of the Four Nations at all in your homeland?" Questioned Tenzin since the Elemental Nations didn't sound that different from the Four Nations, just possessing a different structure.

"I'm sure, if anyone from the Elemental Nations came into contact with the Four Nations, there would be some mention of them." Naruto replied, knowing how certain people in his world would react to finding new lands filled with people capable of manipulating the elements on such a scale.

"Though honestly, with how I arrived, I wouldn't be surprised if I had just hopscotched thousands of years into the future or ended up in a different dimension entirely." Muttered Naruto since anything was possible with how he arrived, much to Ikki's and Meelo's excitement.

"Alien! You're an alien from a different planet! That is the greatest thing ever!" Ikki said with a large grin at the idea of Naruto being from another planet.

"No way! He is an ancient warrior! Teach me your Ninja ways, Warrior!" Said Meelo, wanting Naruto to teach him to be a Ninja.

"Uh…right. Do you think that could be possible Naruto? You being from the past?" Jinora asked, intrigue at the idea of Naruto coming from a time before the Four Nations and potentially even a time before there was an Avatar.

"Who knows, anything could be possible." Naruto said with a shrug.

"It's a shame, if Wan Shi Tong's Library still existed in our world, I'm sure it would have some answers." Tenzin muttered, with the ravenette looking at him curiously.

"Who's Wan Shi Tong?" Naruto asked, wondering who that was and they'd have answers to how he ended up here.

"He's an ancient and knowledgeable Spirit, with his library having information about basically everything in the world. It used to be located in the Si Wong Desert, buried under the sand, but he took it back to the Spirit World during the Hundred Year War." Said Korra, getting Naruto's attention with his eyes widening at hearing they had a war that lasted a hundred years.

"Indeed. Wan Shi Tong only cared about collecting knowledge and not taking part in human affairs or letting humans used his knowledge to wage war against each other. Unfortunately, he had knowledge that my father and Korra's predecessor, Avatar Aang, and his friends needed information he had in order to stop the Fire Nation. But they were only able to get it by lying to Wan Shi Tong, resulting in him taking his library back to the Spirit World. So even if we were to locate it in the Spirit World, it's unlikely he would be willing to assist us or provide any information." Tenzin said with a sigh.

"Now, now, all of you, let's not get obsessed over "what ifs" on where or when Naruto came from. It won't do any of us any good trying to solve something impossible." Said Pema, not wanting her family to start obsessing over "what ifs", with Naruto and Korra nodding in agreement.

"She's right, since even if we did figure something out, it's unlikely there'd be a way for me to return and I'd rather not take any unnecessary risks in trying to return only to make things worse." Naruto stated, since even if by some miracle they learned how exactly he ended up here, there's no guarantee the same thing will send him back.

Besides, while Naruto couldn't rule out the possibility that he traveled to the distant future. It didn't mean that he liked, or was comfortable, with the idea that all of his friends and those he saw as a surrogate family were long dead with no way of him being able to see them again.

"Yeah, what's done is done, no point worrying about it or overthinking things. Besides, I doubt I'm gonna be entering the Spirit World anytime soon." Added Korra, aware she wasn't the most spiritual person and wasn't sure she'd be capable of traveling to the Spirit World as easily as Aang could.

Tenzin nodded in agreement with their words, knowing it wouldn't do any good to think of "what ifs" without any actual knowledge. While Ikki and Meelo pouted at not getting to ask Naruto themselves about being an alien or ancient warrior, and Jinora being satisfied with what she learned, for now anyway.

*Later*

After finishing breakfast, Naruto and Korra had gone outside to get some training done, with the Uzumaki creating ten Shadow Clones to continue working on his Chakra Control.

"So, you're a Ninja? And you went on missions?" Korra asked, curious and interested to learn more about Naruto.

"Yeah, outside of D-Rank Missions, most of them were more dangerous than they were meant to be. At some point, I'm pretty sure my team just accepted that any mission we went would be life-threatening." Replied Naruto, making Korra look at him with wide eyes.

"What…kind of life-threatening?" Said Korra, not expecting him to go on missions where his life was in danger.

"Well the first mission we had was supposed to just be a simple escort mission, bringing a bridge builder back to his home. Only to learn he lied about the kind of danger and we ended up fighting Missing-Nin, Ninja that had gone rogue from their home villages usually by committing crimes or simply leaving. We also had to deal with taking down a corrupt businessman that had been exploited the country for his own gain. While the Missing-Nin we faced as known as the Demon of the Mist and you'd think he was a real demon from meeting him." Naruto explained, with the Avatar looking at him in disbelief.

"Wow…um, what about other missions you went on?" Korra asked, wanting to hear about other missions he took, since she wasn't sure she wanted to hear about someone regarded as a demon.

"Another mission we took was to protect an actress, who was actually a princess of the country we were going to and we ended up having to help overthrow her tyrannical uncle. Then escorting a village leader back to his village and helped him stop an attempted coup. Another mission was protecting a prince and his son, which ended in us helping overthrow another dictator. One mission, where we just needed to find a pet weasel lead to us having to stop a potential invasion from another continent. Helping a priestess seal away an ancient demon from taking over the world while having the pressure of my prophesized death hanging over my head. As well as stopping a Missing-Nin from starting a war, taking down an invading army from trying to conquer the world, stopping a madman from nearly destroying time itself, and then I was sent to prison undercover without my knowledge to kill another demon trapped in a mystical box. Most of which I nearly died on or was just grievously injured." Naruto said, thinking of all his past missions before looking at Korra, only to see the brunette simply frozen at everything she just heard.

"I…I need to sit down." Korra muttered, sitting on the ground with Naruto sitting beside her.

"Yeah, sorry for that. I've just seen a lot of crazy stuff that it's kind of expected at this point, but I also forget that not everyone has done most of the stuff I have. And it can be a lot to take in." Said Naruto while scratching the back of his head.

"No kidding, if it was anyone else, I'd think all that stuff is just bullshit. But given how you appeared and then learning a little bit of what the world outside the Four Nations is like, I have no doubt all that stuff is true. Still…it honestly makes me feel kind of small in comparison, after learning all that stuff." Said Korra while pulling her legs up to her chest.

"Don't let it get to you, I just have crazy luck that usually lands me in crazy situations." Naruto said, only for the Avatar to shake her head.

"It's not just that. Yeah it's a shock learning that there are potentially people in the world that could easily beat me, even with the Avatar State, while now learning that you've basically saved your homeland and different countries multiple times. And then growing up, hearing about everything Aang had done in his life, how he'd already stopped an invasion, ended a war, and started creating the United Republic by the time he was my age. Not to mention everything else he'd done in his life. Then…there's me, the new Avatar that spent most of her life locked away inside a compound." Korra said, letting some of her insecurities show of how she has to live up to her past-life's accomplishments.

"You grew up in a compound?" Naruto asked with a frown at hearing this.

"Not at first, I learned I was the Avatar when I was four-years-old, when I started Firebending and Earthbending along with my Waterbending. But when I was five, I was moved to a White Lotus Compound in the Southern Water Tribe where I was trained to master my bending. It didn't exactly give me many opportunities to…well do anything, only being able to train and play with Naga after I found her during a snowstorm." Explained Korra, with Naruto's frown deepening at this.

"I guess that'd make anyone resentful over being the Avatar." Stated Naruto, only for Korra to shake her head again.

"No, I love being the Avatar and my bending, I just wish I got the chance to have some more freedom. Even here, after finally getting out of the compound and coming to Republic City, I'm now stuck on this island, unable to go out into the city because Tenzin doesn't want me to. I can't even go across the bay to the Pro-Bending Arena to watch a match!" Korra replied in frustration, feeling like it's even worse than the compound.

As rather than being surrounded by a giant wall, she has a full view of Republic City but she can't even go explore it because Tenzin won't let her, saying she needed to focus on her Airbending training.

"Then let's go right now." Naruto said while standing up, making Korra look at him in confusion.

"Go where? To the arena?" Questioned Korra, the Uzumaki shaking his head in response.

"No, into the city. You want to see what it has to see and I need to become familiarized with it. What better time to do it than right now." Said Naruto, offering his hand to Korra, who looked at him with a raised brow.

"And if Tenzin finds out we left?" Korra said, Naruto merely smirking in response.

"Isn't that the best part? The risk of getting caught." Naruto stated, with Korra soon returning the smirk and took his hand.

*Later*

Naruto and Korra looked around Republic City after having snuck out of Air Temple Island, taking in the sights of everything around them.

"I'm guessing the Elemental Nations wasn't really advanced with technology." Korra stated at seeing Naruto's expression at everything around them, especially with the Satomobiles.

"Not to a level like this or as widespread. Only the Land of Snow had really advanced technology with trucks, trains, snow mobiles, heating generators, and airships." Replied Naruto, looking at everything around them, while seeing Republic City put every other village to shame in size and grandeur.

"It wasn't that much different during the Hundred Year War, where the Fire Nation had similar stuff, though their machines and transportation were mostly designed for the purpose of being used to advance the war effort. It's only after the war ended that research and development started going to other things in improving communication, transportation and living. It was definitely a surprise when I first arrived in Republic City, since while I heard about it and seen pictures, seeing it in person was really something else." Said Korra, remembering when she first got off the ship she snuck onto and got her first real look at Republic City.

"I can imagine it'd be a real shock, going from a snowy tundra to a sprawling city." Naruto stated, with the Avatar nodding in response.

"Yeah, and I hadn't really been…familiar with what I could and couldn't do. Like no fishing in the park, since I didn't have any money to buy anything or food. Oh, there it is!" Korra said, pointing to the park when she saw it up ahead before leading them to it.

"Now this…this is more my style." Said Naruto, smiling at the peaceful atmosphere from the park, along with the noise from the rest of the city slowly fading away.

Korra nodded in agreement, since the park did seem like a nice place to relax and get away from everything in the city, being able to enjoy a small part of nature within it.

"Equality now! Equality now! We want equality now!" Someone shouted, getting Naruto's and Korra's attention, with the latter groaning at seeing the Protester she ran into when she first arrived.

"Great, him again." Muttered Korra, making Naruto look at her with a raised brow.

"You know him?" Naruto asked, frowning as he heard the Protester start talking about some group called the Equalists and their apparent leader, Amon.

"Unfortunately. I ran into him my first day here, let's go before he tries something." Korra said, not wanting to risk the guy trying to provoke her, doubting she'd be able to restrain from actually knocking him down this time.

"And there's one the greatest bending oppressors now, the Avatar!" Said the Protester after spotting Naruto and Korra, turning the crowds attention towards them, the Avatar's eye twitching at being called out like that.

"I already said it before, I'm not oppressing anyone!" Retorted Korra, glaring at the Protester in annoyance.

"Don't believe her lies! The moment she set foot in Republic City the Avatar believes she can do whatever she wants, destroying the shops and stands of hard-working non-benders, while threatening my own life for speaking the truth of bending tyranny!" The Protester said, making the crowd starting muttering amongst themselves while glaring at Korra.

"I did not! I didn't threaten anyone and I only destroyed a street to deal with criminals!" Korra said, feeling her temper flaring.

"There! She's admitted her crimes! Now she and her bender friend are showing their true colors and-" Said the Protester, only to be silenced when Naruto smacked his megaphone out of his hand and looked at him coldly.

"You have a very large mouth for such a pathetic little man." Naruto said, surprising Korra at his sudden change in personality.

"See! Benders like him think they can walk all over us! The time has come for benders to be shown they aren't any better, and Amon will be the one to do it!" Said the Protester smugly as the crowd began rallying behind him against Naruto and Korra.

"You seem to enjoy making a lot of assumptions, about Korra and about me. Since you think I'm a bender when the truth is I'm not. Though I do warn you, if you try to attack us we will be within our rights to defend ourselves and it would be the last mistake you ever make." Stated Naruto, before turning to the crowd with cold blue eyes, making the crowd pause at hearing he's a non-bender as well as feeling primal fear from the Killing Intent he's exuding.

"D-Don't believe his lies! Anyone can say they're a non-bender! Him being with the Avatar and the fact he's threatening us proves he's a bender and-" Said the Protester after regaining his nerve, only to make the mistake of looking into Naruto's eyes as he activated his Sharingan, looking into the mans mind before deactivating his eyes,

"Making up more lies? Sorry, but I don't see any reason why I should waste my time lying to an insect like you, after all, the truth is far more damaging. Like the truth that you don't even care about equality for non-benders, the only thing you care about is having attention on you." Naruto said, with the Protester freezing slightly.

"Th-that's not-" The Protester retorted.

"True? It is actually, you don't care about the Equalists, about Amon, about the other non-benders that actually want to make a difference. The only thing you cared about was the attention, ever since you were an even more pathetic little child. Always screaming, crying and throwing tantrums to anyone that'd listen, not caring what you did as long as you were the center of attention. Until you began going against what everyone else believed, including your parents, who were dedicated supporters of Avatar Aang despite being non-benders themselves. That's the real reason you support the Equalists is because it gives you so many opportunities to have everyone's attention, when really you couldn't care less about their problems or desires for equality. You only see it as an excuse to have the attention you want. You probably stole those flyers and posters from actual members of the Equalists who truly believe in equality. But you…you're nothing but a pathetic, attention-seeking leech that isn't worth mine, Korra's, or anyone else's time. Let alone a moment of our attention. I'd honestly say you were nothing but an insect scurrying around, thinking it was important and deserved to be notice, but that'd be an insult to insects everywhere." Said Naruto, with the Protesters faces paling at how he knew all that before turning red in anger at the insults.

Until he finally shouted and jumped off his platform, charging Naruto and punching him in the face, with the Uzumaki not even flinching at being hit.

"Oh, that is-" Korra said, now about to send the bastard flying for hitting her friend, only for Naruto to hold out his arm stopping her.

"Don't bother, Korra, this only proves how pathetic he really is. Resorting to simply shouting and attacking me because he knows everything I said is true. And now so does everyone else, here." Naruto said, the Protesters eyes widening as he saw the crowd, which had grown after seeing what was happening, as all of them were now glaring at him before they began walking away.

With Naruto and Korra soon leaving as well, the Avatar soon laughing lightly at seeing the Protester finally be shutdown, doubting he'll ever show his face in the park again.

"Okay, as much as I loved seeing you tear that asshole apart, what was that back there? You acted like…" Said Korra, trying to find the right word to describe the ravenette's sudden change in behavior.

"Like someone else. Yeah, I'm…I'm not really sure what happened either, but I have my suspicions." Naruto replied, guessing that his fusion with Madara wasn't as perfect as he originally believed and he'll have to work out the parts of Madara's personality that he inherited.

"Well, either way, I'm glad to see someone put the jackass in his place." Korra said with a smirk, unable to actually be mad at Naruto's attitude given who it was directed at, with the Uzumaki smirking at her words.

"I aim to plea-woah!" Said Naruto, guessing it wasn't too bad if he had a bit of Madara in him, only to stop and quickly grab Korra before pulling them back just as someone on a moped came skidding to stop.

"Woah, that was a close one. Thanks Naruto." Korra said, not expecting the moped to come out of nowhere.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't see either of you there! Are you both alright?!" Said the rider, getting off the moped and running up to Naruto and Korra.

"Yeah, we're fine. And no harm done since it was just an accident." Naruto replied, with Korra nodding in agreement while holding her arms out.

"Yep, not a scratch on us and I guess we should have been looking where we were going too." Said Korra, much to the riders relief as they unstrapped their helmet.

Revealing an eighteen-year-old girl with fair skin, wavy raven black hair that fell past her shoulders, and light green eyes.

"That's good, but sorry again, I really need to learn to drive more slowly and pay more attention to my surroundings." The girl said sheepishly only to look at the two more closely, her eyes widening at finally recognizing Korra.

"Wait…I know. You're the Avatar?!" Said the girl in shock.

"Yeah, that's me. I'm Korra and this is my friend, Naruto Uzumaki." Introduced Korra, smiling at the girl while Naruto nodded in greeting.

"Ugh, I'm so embarrassed! Nearly hitting the Avatar and her friend. I am really sorry for that." The girl said, covering her face in embarrassment at seeing who she nearly hit.

"It's fine, really. You didn't mean for anything to happen and like Korra said, we should have been watching where we were going." Naruto assured.

"Plus, it may have happened even if we were paying attention, since we're just taking in the sights of the city right now." Added Korra, given their attention was on the city itself than their general surroundings, so they probably would have been hit anyway.

"Right, you both are still new to the city, I guess it can be a pretty big change for most people. If you want, I could show you both around, I know some pretty great spots to check out." The girl offered, wanting to make up for what nearly happened.

The offer made Naruto and Korra look at each other for a moment before looking back at the girl, nodding in response.

"Sure, that'd be really great, having someone show us around." Korra replied with a smile, making the girl smile brightly before moving her moped to the curb and took the key out.

"Great! Oh yeah, my names Asami, Asami Sato." Asami introduced before the trio began exploring the city.

*Later*

Asami had shown Naruto and Korra all around Republic City, taking them to some of her favorite spots, along with where restaurants were before taking them to the shopping district. Having offered to also take them shopping, something Naruto and Korra had initially refused, only relenting at Asami's insistence that it was her treat.

"This is one of my favorite stores since they also do custom clothes for just about anything you could want." Asami said as they entered a clothing shop, getting the attention of the receptionist who quickly went over to the trio with a smile on her face.

"Ah, Ms. Sato, it's so nice to see you again. Are you here to place an order or just to browse?" She asked, only for her eyes to widen at seeing the Avatar.

"Oh, forgive me, Avatar Korra I didn't think you'd be here! Please, if there's anything you need don't hesitate to ask." The receptionist said, with Korra nodding slowly.

"Uh, right, thanks." Korra replied, not used to going clothes shopping.

"Right now we're just browsing, unless either of you wanted something specific?" Asami said while looking at the Uzumaki and Avatar, with the latter shaking her head.

"You take custom orders?" Naruto asked, with the receptionist nodding in response.

"That we do. Was there something specific you had in mind?" She asked, with Naruto nodding before looking at Asami.

"Is it alright if I get something custom?" Said Naruto, wanting to make sure it'd be alright, since he figured custom clothes would be pretty expensive.

"Of course, I said it's my treat so anything you and Korra see, don't worry about the price." Asami replied with a smile, which Naruto returned before he went off with the receptionist to get fitted for what he wanted, while Korra and Asami began browsing the store.

"So, she seemed to know you pretty well? Do you come here often?" Korra asked, with the ravenette nodding in response.

"Yeah, it's where I get my driving clothes when I'm riding my moped and helping my dad with his test drives." Replied Asami, getting Korra's attention.

"Test drive? Like driving Satomobiles? Does your dad work on Future Industries or something?" Questioned Korra, making Asami smile mischievously.

"Yeah he does, he actually owns Future Industries. My dad's Hiroshi Sato." Asami revealed, making the Avatar look at her in surprise.

"Huh, that's pretty cool." Korra said, with Asami nodding in agreement.

"Yeah, it can be, it does give me the chance to help him out in designing new Satomobiles. But my favorite part has to be testing them out." Said Asami, always loving the feeling of driving new Satomobiles and seeing where they could be improved.

"And if you don't mind me asking, how did you and Naruto meet? Since I don't remember any mention of him arriving with you or being at the press conference. Did you meet him in the city?" Asami asked, curious of how Naruto and Korra met.

"Eh…in a way, you could say he literally fell out of the sky." Korra replied, getting a raised brow from the heiress before her eyes widened in realization.

"Wait…is he from outside the Four Nations?!" Said Asami as she soon smiled in excitement, the brunette looking at her in surprise.

"You know about lands outside the Four Nations?" Said Korra, having expected only certain people would be aware of them.

"Yeah, I do, though not a lot. Mostly just rumors and anything my dad has managed to gather. I always found the idea to be so exciting, that there are lands far away from the Four Nations that no one else has been to. It helps make the world seem so much bigger and still full of mysteries." Asami said, with Korra unable to help but nod in agreement.

"No kidding. And I'm guessing you hope to try and exploring them?" Korra asked rhetorically, with Asami nodding in response.

"Definitely, it would just be something completely new and different." Replied Asami before they heard footsteps approaching and saw Naruto.

"What would be new and different?" Said Naruto, having heard part of what they were talking about.

"Going outside the Four Nations to explore other lands. Asami seems really excited about the idea of seeing what could be found on them. And I can understand why." Said Korra, being able to understand and agree with Asami's curiosity and excitement.

As despite what she learned what happened to Kyoshi and the chance of encountering people much stronger than her, Korra couldn't help but be curious to see these new lands herself. Especially since, unlike her past-life, Korra had not ill intentions with those lands and their inhabitants.

"That's right. And you're from one of these lands Naruto, what was it like there?" Asami asked, eager to learn Naruto's homeland was like.

"Well, it's called the Elemental Nations and we don't actually know if it is a distance land since I didn't have the most…normal arrival." Replied Naruto, getting a confused look from Asami before she turned to Korra.

"You weren't kidding when you said he fell out of the sky, were you." Stated Asami, with the Avatar shaking her head.

"Nope, literally fell out of the sky, right on top of me." Korra said, while momentarily blushing as she remembered how Naruto accidentally stole her first kiss when landed on her.

"Huh, still it's pretty cool meeting someone from outside the Four Nations." Asami said while smiling at the Uzumaki.

"It's also been interesting being here. And if you want, I could tell you more about the Elemental Nations another time, Asami." Offered Naruto, making the heiresses smile widen.

"I'd love to hear about them." Replied Asami before they resumed looking at the different clothes.

*Later*

After they finished at the clothing store, with Naruto, Asami and even Korra picking out some things as well as some new outfits, along with Naruto's custom order. Which was revealed to be a burnt orange trenchcoat with black edging, along with the Uzumaki Clan symbol on the chest over his heart and the Uchiha Clan symbol on the back. Since he's technically an Uchiha now and was capable of performing the Grand Fireball Jutsu, which was a rite of passage in the clan.

The trio had continued their shopping, with them also going to a weapons shop at Naruto's request, having gotten a red belt to hold pouches for his weapons and scrolls. The Uzumaki also getting a gunbai, kusarigama, and a sword, knowing it was the Madara in him that made him get those three items. With them going to other stores and getting things for their own leisure and entertainment.

"You know, I'm normally not one for shopping, but that was actually pretty fun. Thanks for all this Asami and for showing us around." Korra said with a smile as she, Naruto and Asami returned to where the heiress parked her moped.

"Yeah, you really didn't have to get all this stuff, but it also means a lot, so thank you." Added Naruto, smiling as well, which the heiresses returned.

"Don't worry about it, besides it's the least I can do after nearly hitting you both. And maybe we can do it again sometime, hopefully not after almost crashing into each other." Asami replied in amusement, with Naruto and Korra nodding in agreement.

"Definitely. And if you ever wanna visit, we're staying on Air Temple Island out in the bay." Said Korra, with Asami nodding in response before taking out a pen and paper.

"I may take you up on that and here's directions to my family's estate, can't miss it once it's in sight." Said Asami, handing them the directions before putting on her helmet and got on her moped.

"See you guys later. And I didn't say it earlier, but the coat really suits you, Naruto." Asami said, winking at the Ninja before waving at then and driving off, which they returned.

"She's not wrong, it actually does look good on you." Korra stated looking at Naruto in his new trenchcoat, not expecting him to get something orange, but after seeing him in it, the Avatar could see he made it work.

"Thanks, now let's get back to the island, I'm sure Tenzin's noticed us missing by now." Naruto replied, the brunette nodded in agreement before they made their way back to the island.

*Later*

The moment Naruto and Korra arrived back at Air Temple Island, they were met with an unamused Tenzin along with Pema and the kids.

"What…what were you two thinking?! Leaving the island when I had specifically forbid either of you from going to the city, especially you Korra! You missed out on an entire day of training as well! And you Naruto, you still aren't familiar with the Four Nations, not to mention what would happen if word spread someone from outside the Four Nations being here in Republic City, the attention it could bring! Did either of you even think of the consequences!" Tenzin said as he began pacing back and forth in front of Naruto and Korra, neither of whom looked amused at being chewed out like that.

"Tenzin! You can't just keep me trapped here on this island! Yes, I came here to master Airbending, but also so I could help Republic City! How am I supposed to help when I can't even find my way around the city?! Just look at what happened when I first arrived, I took out three criminals, tearing up a street in the process, then ran away from the police! Oh Spirits, it hurts that I'm agreeing with Beifong, but she…she was right, in a way." Said Korra, looking as if it physically hurt to agree with Lin.

"Korra's right, Tenzin. She can't just be kept on this island the entire time, Korra told me about how she grew up inside the White Lotus Compound, hardly being allowed outside, only being able to train every day until she mastered her bending. By keeping her locked up on this island, you're just making her trade one prison for another. I also can't be kept here since yes, I don't know everything about the Four Nations and you could have me learn the history of every single nation, but learning about them and experiencing the lands for myself are very different." Naruto added, with Korra nodding in agreement, glad that he's agreeing with her.

"That's not the-" Said Tenzin, only to stop when Pema put a hand on his shoulder.

"Sweetheart, they do bring up some good points, you can't expect them to just stay here the entire time. They need to be able to go out and see the city, experience for themselves, enjoy themselves and their freedom. And isn't that what Airbending is all about, finding peace and freedom. How do you expect Korra to learn the element of freedom when she's never really had any." Pema said, understanding where Naruto and Korra were coming from in not wanting to stay cooped up in the island.

"Mom is right, dad. You taught us that the Air Nomads detach themselves from their worldly problems and concerns, learning to be as free as the wind. Maybe that's what Korra needs to start learning Airbending, to not have to worry about learning it anymore or be pressured so much into using it." Added Jinora.

"Yeah! And next time Naruto and Korra can take us, I wanna go out and see the city with them!" Ikki said in excitement.

"Me too! I wanna drive my own Satomobile!" Said Meelo, also wanting to go with them next time.

"Absolutely not." Tenzin said immediately, refusing to let his two youngest go out into the city and cause who knows how much havoc or get hurt, before he sighed and turned to Naruto and Korra.

"I still don't like it, but…you all aren't exactly wrong. You both may go out into the city whenever you wish, as long as you don't fall behind in your Airbending training. But Korra, please, you must be careful, things in Republic City still aren't entirely safe and I insist you bring a bodyguard. That is one matter I won't budge on." Tenzin said, knowing things were still dangerous with the Equalists on the loose and whatever it is they could be planning.

"I could be her bodyguard. Since I'm an unknown, no one would expect me to be a threat and would only see me as a friend of the Avatar. Which would also be less suspicious than if Korra was followed around by any White Lotus Sentries or anyone else." Offered Naruto, making Korra smile at the Uzumaki, glad he'd offer to be her bodyguard despite how she didn't think one was needed, as it would be better than having the White Lotus have someone follow her.

While Tenzin frowned at the offer, given he'd just met the boy the other day and wasn't sure he'd be capable of keeping Korra safe, plus with how he's still an unknown. And the fact that from his body and posture, he wasn't near his full power either, likely from how he ended up here. But at the same time, from what Tenzin saw during his and Korra's training, Naruto seemed like he's still more than capable of handling himself.

"…Very well Naruto, you will be Korra's bodyguard for the foreseeable future." Said Tenzin before taking his leave with his family, while Naruto and Korra went to put their stuff away.

*Later*

After putting their stuff away, Naruto and Korra headed back outside to get some training done, the Uzumaki creating forty Shadow Clones and splitting them into four groups. With one working on his Chakra Control, two more working on mastering the Fire Style Ninjutsu he could use at the moments and working on mastering his new Fire Affinity, and the last working on remastering his Wind Affinity and learn Wind Style Ninjutsu outside of his Rasenshuriken.

While Naruto himself began studying and practicing Fūinjutsu, having also gotten supplies to begin practicing. Given how his mother's Chakra Imprint said the Uzumaki Clan specialized in Fūinjutsu, he wanted to master the art as well to honor her and their clan. Especially since the gunbai he had gotten won't be capable of the same feats that Madara's was, so he'll need to enhance it.

"What are you doing?" Korra asked as she watched Naruto pull out several blank scrolls, brushes and ink.

"I'm practicing my Fūinjutsu, it involves the use of seals to cause any number of affects." Replied Naruto, getting Korra's interest at the Ninja Art.

"What kind of affects?" Questioned Jinora, making Naruto and Korra look to see the young Airbender standing nearby.

"I was going for a walk and heard what Naruto said. What exactly does Fūinjutsu do?" Jinora said, going over and sitting across from Naruto with Korra sitting down next to him.

"Like I said, it can do many things, including sealing objects away to be unsealed later, blow something up, increase gravity, teleport, create barriers, cause paralysis, and basically anything else you could imagine. As long as you're talented enough and are careful, then Fūinjutsu can be an incredibly dangerous art." Naruto explained, much to their amazement.

'And luckily, Madara was a master at using Fūinjutsu. So no worrying about not having a teacher.' Thought Naruto, given that Madara had mastered every form of combat, including Fūinjutsu, with how at the time, the Uzumaki Clan were the only ones that widely practiced it, so it was something he desired to master as well.

"Wow, that sounds incredible. And you're also able to manipulate the elements in different way than bending? Does that include Air?" Jinora asked in amazement and eagerness, with Naruto nodding in response.

"Yeah, though we refer to it as Wind, with that actually being my main Elemental Affinity. It was regarded as the most offensive element in terms of Ninjutsu, alongside Lightning and Fire." Naruto replied, much to their disbelief.

"How could Wind be seen as an offensive element?" Questioned Korra since everything she knew about Airbending was that it's mostly defensive with the Air Nomads being pacifists, while only a few use it offensively.

"When I was learning to master my Wind Affinity, it was described that to use it, it must be sharpened like a blade by splitting the Chakra in two then bringing the pieces together to form a tight edge. One that's capable of cutting through anything." Said Naruto, making both girls tense slightly, imagining how dangerous Airbending could be when used like that.

"I…guess that makes sense." Said Jinora not sure how to feel about that given her upbringing as an Air Nomad, but accepted that it was due to the different cultures and how the Wind element was used.

"And I suppose any element can be dangerous in the wrong hands." Korra stated, remembering when Katara told her about Bloodbending, the darkest bending art there is, how she learned firsthand that any element could be used for evil.

"Yes, they can. But it's not the elements themselves that's evil, it's those that use them. Don't think something is evil just because it's used by evil people." Naruto said, with Korra and Jinora nodding at this.

"Um, if you two don't mind, could I actually join you? And would I be able to ask you some more questions, Naruto?" Jinora asked, wanting to learn more about him and his homeland.

"I don't mind if you stay Jinora. Just don't tell Tenzin, he might get upset if I find a new Airbending teacher." Korra said jokingly, making the young girl laugh lightly.

"I don't mind either and ask whatever you like. As long as you don't mind me asking my own questions, since I get the feeling you're pretty intelligent and know a lot of things." Naruto said, with Jinora blushing lightly at the compliment.

"S-sure, I'll answer any questions you have and tell you anything you want to know." Replied Jinora with a smile, happy at the chance to learn more.

*Unknown Location*

Meanwhile, Amon was looking down at the Protester, who was held down on his knees by two Chi-Blockers. Having been informed of what happened in the park and what the fool had done, foolishly antagonizing the Avatar and her companion, only for it to blow up in his face. Not only losing them potential supporters, but also making the Equalists look like complete fools.

"I am not pleased to have learned what you have done, as your actions will reflect badly on not just me, but the Equalist Movement as a whole. And for that, you will be appropriately punished. Take him away." Amon ordered as the two Chi-Blockers began dragging the Protester away.

"No, wait! Please Amon, sir, don't do this! I-I'll be better, I'll try harder! Just please give me another chance! Ple-" The Protester begged, only to be silenced as he was dragged out of the room.

"What do you think, Lieutenant? About this boy accompanying the Avatar?" Questioned Amon while turning to the Lieutenant.

"If you mean the part where the idiot said his eyes turned red with three black tomoe, I don't have any clue. Never heard of anyone capable of changing their eye color like that, let alone to an even stranger design. But it was definitely something." The Lieutenant replied, with Amon nodding in agreement.

It was something they initially brushed off as just the Protester seeing things or trying to make things up for his blunder.

"Agreed. The fact that he suddenly knew personal information that would set him off like that, those eyes must've grant him a form of mind reading or at least the ability to look into one's mind." Amon said before he turned to the other person in the room, and the one who supplied the Equalists with weapons, Hiroshi Sato.

"And you're daughter has recently befriended both the Avatar and this boy." Said Amon, with Hiroshi nodding with a frown.

"Yes, she met them earlier today while she was out, showing them around the city and taking them shopping." Said Hiroshi, not liking the idea of his daughter being friends with the Avatar and this anomaly, not wanting her to end getting pulled into this.

"Good. We can use their newfound friendship to our advantage, allowing you to get close to the Avatar and the anomaly as well to gather information on them." Amon stated, making Hiroshi's frown deepen.

"Are…are you sure that'd a good idea. What if they realize something is wrong or this boy uses his eyes to read my thoughts?" Hiroshi asked, not wanting to use his daughter like that and risk her finding out about his connection to the Equalists.

"I understand your concern, but be rest assured, Hiroshi. It's all for the greater good. And if I'm right, this may be the first public encounter with the nations and factions outside of our own lands." Said Amon, believing Naruto is from outside the Four Nations, making it the first public encounter with an outsider.

Given that unknown to the public, the Equalists had commissioned foreign alchemists to supply them with platinum for their Anti-Metalbender weapons. Ensuring no one grows suspicious of Hiroshi ordering large amounts of platinum or it being delivered into the city.

And by the time anyone grew suspicious and tried snooping around, it'll be too late to stop them.

So, what do you think, good. Yep we see some interactions between Naruto, Korra, and Tenzin and his family, telling them a little about the Elemental Nations and his background, before he and Korra go get some training done. Leading to him telling her about several missions he went on, much to Korra's disbelief at what he's gone against and done in his life, causing some of her insecurities to come out due to her having to live up to Aang's legacy and everything he's done as well, before Naruto convinces to go into the city with him. With the two sneaking off of the island and explore Republic City, only to end up encountering the Protester who tries antagonizing Korra, only for Naruto's Madara-side to show itself using his Sharingan to look into the Protesters mind before verbally tearing into him about his background, causing him to attack Naruto in retaliation which only makes the crowd turn against him and disperse. Before we get an early meeting with Asami as she almost crashed into Naruto and Korra, leading to her offering to show them around the city and take them shopping to make up for it, leading to the three bonding before going their separate ways. With Tenzin being less than happy when they return, until Naruto and Korra convince him he can't keep them locked up on the island, with some help from Pema and the kids, making Tenzin relent and let them continue travelling to the city, as long as Korra has a bodyguard which Naruto volunteers himself for. Then we see them training some more with Naruto beginning to learn Fūinjutsu, which gets both Korra's and Jinora's attention, the latter asking to join them and ask more questions, which they agree to. Finally we see Amon is less than pleased with the Protester and his blunder, having him taken away to be punished before discussing Naruto's eyes with the Lieutenant and Hiroshi, before having the latter use Asami's new friendship to get closer to Naruto and Korra to learn more about the former and his abilities. So, for those that like the story, thanks for your support. For those that don't or at least don't like the direction taken, you're more than welcomed to drop the story. But thanks for giving the story a chance anyway.
