This is gonna be good, maybe. No clue if this is a good chapter, but some of you guys might like it. I hope you all enjoy this chapter guys.
Mother to my cloned brother.
(Royal Woods Elementary.)
Luna's car makes it to the school and coming out are Luna and Sam, then Sam opens the passenger door and the 4 year old boy, Lincoln S. Loud comes out and looks to the school. "Well, this is it Lincoln" said Sam. "You ready for your first day to Kindergarten?"
Lincoln sighs and holds onto his backpack. "I hope it's as good as pre-school, and less sticky too." Luna and Sam chuckle hearing that, they do recall last year when he went to preschool and he had a hard time there, like he really had a hard time and did not like how sticky the place was, which was also a sign that Lincoln recalls hating sticky stuff.
They then enter the school and see some kids bigger than Lincoln walking down the hallways, it brings back memories to Luna that he did attend this school once before. It was a darn shame that Clyde wasn't there, she thought he would love to run this school, but to that fact Lincoln was gone it made him depressed and he had to find a new point of view into life which led to him and his dad's moving, the one running this school is Principal Jordan …. Rosato?
Luna and Sam see the principal waving at them, she was glad to see the two women. "So, is he ready for his first day?"
"He is" Luna looks to her son. "Aren't you little man?"
Lincoln shyly nods. "I am, and I wanna see if I can be bale to make some good friends, and thank you for having me part of this school Principal Rosato."
Jordan chuckles. "Well, it was nice to meet you Lincoln." She then watches them walk off into the kindergarten classroom. Jordan recalls that she was also told about this, it shocked her that the boy she once admired and mourned for is back and breathing. She decides to keep this a secret and promises to keep an eye on him.
Then she gets an idea. "A Grade school reunion." She then goes back into her office. "Penelope! We're going to have a Grade School reunion on the last week of September!"
Penelope smiles hearing that. "Sounds like a swell idea, we can meet up with some old friends of ours and I know they'll freak out when they see you as the woman who runs the school!" She then goes back to her computer. "I'll start making the invitations now and also find out where our old pals and gals are located."
Jordan smiles. "You do that Penelope." She then goes back into her office, her plan is working. But she had to tell Luna and Sam about this, she knows this could help them talk to Clyde, or any of his old pals. Liam still lives in Royal Woods with Tabby of course.
Luna and Sam with Lincoln then see the kindergarten classroom, Lincoln looks around and gets a bit nervous. "This … This kinda reminds me of Preschool, sort of." Luna and Sam notice this, he tends to get shy when he goes to attend a new place.
Luna kneels down to him. "Lincoln, you got this. You handled so much from meeting your auntie Lily and preschool, I know you can handle kindergarten and make friends. You think you're brave enough to do that sweetie?"
Lincoln sucks in some courage and looks to his mom and smiles. "Yeah, I think I can do this and I won't get into any trouble and I'll only trust friends I can fully trust and if they also understand me."
Sam then kneels down to Lincoln's level as well. "Try not to let any of the kids give you a hard time, if something bad does happen get an adult to help out. Okay bud?"
Lincoln nods, he then hugs both his mom's. "I love you Momma Luna, I love you Mommy Sam!"
Luna and Sam hug him back. "We love you too Linky." They place a kiss on his cheeks and his forehead which makes him giggle. Then they see the teacher arrive.
"Luna? Sam? Oh wow! So you guys chose to bring him here!"
"Teri?" said Luna and Sam in shock, and it was Teri. The Eldest sister of Darcy and Lisa Helmandollar.
She then sees Lincoln. "Hello again Lincoln, it's good to see you again."
"It's good to see you again as well" said Lincoln. "So, should I call you Mrs. Helmandollar?"
Teri chuckles. "I guess you should" she then looks to Luna and Sam. "I'll do what I can to keep an eye on him, you have my word."
Luna and Sam smile. "Thanks Teri, we don't want him having a breakdown or getting upset. Even though he's never done that before" said Luna with worry.
Sam puts her hand on Luna's shoulder. "Easy Lunes, look at him." They see him playing with three boys and they start talking to each other and drawing. "He's made some friends already and he seems happy here. Let's leave him be and come back afterwards."
Luna does see Lincoln laughing and he seemed very happy. "Okay, let's leave our kid be." They then look to Teri. "Teri, be careful for when they come and you know who I mean."
Teri nods and looks to them sternly. "I know, keep him clear if Lori, Lynn Jr, Rita or Lynn Sr arrive and do something, if he's waiting outside for you to come back I'll be there to keep an eye on him."
Sam hands her two number. "These are the numbers of Leni and Luan, in case we're gonna be running late to pick him up."
Teri takes the numbers and nods. "I got it, you can count on me guys." She then walks into the classroom and they get class started.
Luna and Sam smile and they wave goodbye to their son and he waves back, they then take their leave and head out of the school.
Luna and Sam are both walking down the empty hallways thinking. Sam notices Luna's worried look. "You worried about him Luna?" asked Sam.
"Yeah" replied Luna. "I mean he's back in the school he once attended before and he's going to be alone, sort of. I don't want those people we once called family to try and think about talking to him, or even taking him somewhere. I still don't trust them!"
Sam understands what she means. "Well, don't worry about that. This whole school has changed so much ever since, cameras, security guards, this is a new Royal Woods Elementary and bullying is not a good look for any kid's permanent record here. So, let's try and spend some time with each other for the rest of the day, until it's time to pick up Lincoln. Okay, Lune?"
Luna smiles and she holds Sam's hand. "Okay Sam." They then head to the main doors.
"Luna! Sam!" they turn around to see Principal Rosato coming towards them. "Here, these are for you." She shows them a small letter and they read it.
"What? A Royal Woods Grade school Reunion?" they look to Jordan.
"I think I found a way for you guys to make contact with some old friends of Lincoln" said Jordan. "Once the reunion party begins there's gonna be a lot of mourning, then I'm gonna look for Clyde, Zach, and Rusty and hand them the address to your homes and when they do go there, that's when you guys handle things."
Luna and Sam look to the letter, this was it. The chance they needed to let Lincoln's old friend know about what has happened. "Wow, this is ….. Wow!" said Sam.
Luna hugs Jordan. "Thank you Jordan, this will help clear some things Clyde is feeling and also help him find some trusting closure and be part of this secret."
Jordan smiles. "Anytime, and if you need some backup. Then contact me and I'll be there, for you, for Sam and for Lincoln." She then walks back to her office.
Some part of Luna and Sam knows that Jordan was once the crush of Lincoln, and even though he's back and a kid, she's learning to accept this and let him live his own life, while she lives hers. They then make their way out of the school and get back into their car and drive off.
Unknown to them, someone is watching them from a pickup truck and she taps her sports sneakers onto the brake pedal and watches them leave. 'Just wait LJ, just wait. Then I can go and talk to that little …. I mean Lincoln, and see if he still remembers me.' Lynn Jr then takes a sip of her can of root beer and waits. Lynn Jr knows that the whole school has changed into that of a government safe educational system with the anti-bullying law, cameras inside and outside and guards on the outside. Lynn had to be careful, one slip up and it could be back to jail for her.
(After school.)
Lincoln had finished class and is coming out with smiles, he passes by some kids in the hallway and then he sees Principal Rosato coming out of her office with her bag in hand. "Hello Principal Rosato."
Jordan smiles and approaches Lincoln. "Hi there Lincoln, are you ready to go home?"
"I am" replied Lincoln, but then he has a concerned look. "Though I don't know if my mom's will be waiting for me outside."
Jordan knows he could be worried, she already knows that Luna and Sam have taught him not to talk to people you don't know. "How about I go outside and wait for you?"
Lincoln smiles. "Okay, that sounds nice. Mrs. Helmandollar is busy with some kid who accidently got her hair stuck in some glue, I told her about the girl and Mrs. Helmandollar said she'll take care of it. I hope she's okay."
Jordan then walks with Lincoln as they reach the doors of the school. "That's nice of you, did you ask the girl her name? You may have made a friend out of her."
Lincoln realizes this. "No, I didn't ask what her name was, I wanted to help but then I realized I could get myself into a sticky mess so I called an adult to help out. It was the right thing to do, plus I might accidently hurt her if I try and do it myself. Maybe tomorrow I can meet up with her and we can be friends."
Jordan chuckles at this. 'Looks like he's already making friends, I just hope he doesn't make friends with some kid who might have multiple health issues and overbearing parents who care way too much with ridiculous rules.' She then recalls all there was to describe of Clyde McBride back then.
They then make it out of the school and look around. "Well, looks like Luna and Sam aren't here yet, we can wait by the benches if you'd like."
Lincoln smiles. "Yes please." They go over to the benches and wait for them to come. He then pulls out his phone and sees he has a message. "Mommy Sam said they're coming back, and Momma Luna is really fast right now."
Jordan could tell that Lincoln must've sent them the text that his school day was done and now they're speeding back here to pick him up, who knows what Sam is feeling with her wife going mach 5 on the road. The very thought makes Jordan shiver.
Then someone approaches them, with a ponytail and the sides of her head lightly shaved, wearing a white and red top, red hoodie jacket and red shorts with some number 1 symbols and red and black sneakers. The 24 Year old Lynn Loud Jr. "Hey there Lincoln." She says sternly.
Lincoln feels tense seeing her, and slowly scooches over to Principal Jordan Rosato. Jordan sees the nervous boy and looks to Lynn in annoyance. "What do you want Lynn Junior?"
Lynn scoffs. "This doesn't concern you teach, I'm just here to see my white-haired nephew." She then looks onto Lincoln and sees how small he was, how much he looks similar to his former 4 year old self from long ago. "Wow, you really do look like the one from before, jeez."
"Umm, my mom's told me not to talk to strangers" said Lincoln nervously.
Lynn Jr sighs. "Yeah, your moms who are way into keeping you safe from people like me. I'm not gonna hurt you Lincoln and we're family, so how about I bring you back home and we can play. What do ya say kid?"
Lincoln just looks away, he does look at her for a second and he feels tense and cautious seeing her.
"No thank you, I'd rather wait for my moms. Can you please leave?" asked Lincoln nervously.
"Come on Lincoln, I'm not that bad" said Lynn Jr in a caring tone, well trying to sound caring. "We can play some catch, football, soccer, badminton, whichever works for ya."
Jordan then stands up and intervenes. "He said he doesn't wanna hang out with you Junior, so leave now!" They both look to each other, eyes locked in anger.
"Or what? You gonna send me to detention, spank me or put me in the corner and make me think about what I've done?" said Lynn Jr in anger. "He didn't say he didn't wanna hang out and you're not the boss of me, so why don't you be a good principal and go back to tending to this run down school of dorks. This kid is my nephew and I have the rights to see him, no one not even rocker or even shallow blonde can tell me what to do."
Hearing that was making Lincoln angry, she just insulted his moms. He gets up and confronts her. "You take that back! They're awesome moms and I am not gonna let a bully like you say that about them!"
Jordan is shocked, he is talking back to Lynn Loud Junior. Lynn herself is also stunned, he was almost like the same old Lincoln from long ago, the one who would stand up and try to show he is brave toward those who are mocking him, such as Lynn Jr herself.
"And what are you gonna do if I keep making fun of them kid?" said Lynn Jr with a smug look. "You don't know do ya, Luna is my sister and I am your auntie, so that means we're family and we can do whatever we want and make fun of each other, Stinkcoln."
That word triggers it and make Lincoln very much upset. He then yells and charges at her and tries to hit her. But Lynn Jr holds him by the forehead and keeps him in place. 'Yup, just as weak as he was before.' She then lets him go and backs off.
Lincoln stumbles and falls onto his face. Lynn Jr snickers. "Come on Linc, you can be better than that. Remember how I would beat you, like a lot."
Jordan looks to her scornfully. "What is wrong with you?!" She then goes over to Lincoln and helps him up. "Are you okay Lincoln?" Lincoln gets up slowly and he feels some pain on his face, he then touches his face and sees some small blood on his hand, Jordan gasps when she sees a small cut to his cheek.
Lincoln then starts to cry, and this triggers Lynn Jr into panic. Some of the kids see this and the guard who just arrived from the back of the school. "Umm, Linc. You can ….. Umm stop crying, it's gonna be okay. Come on, I wasn't too hard on you" she tries to approach then, but the guard gets in the way.
"Ma'am, I'm gonna have to tell you to back off. Now!"
Lynn just looks to the boy who was weeping from his injury, then Teri comes out and sees this and also runs to his aid. Lynn Jr realizes that she was in big trouble. "I … I gotta get outta here." She is about to head to her truck, but then she's blocked by a purple car. The doors open and it was Luna and Sam. "Shit!"
"Lynn?! Why the bloody hell are …" Luna stops when she sees her son, Lincoln, with some blood on his hand, and a small cut to his face and crying. Crying. Crying. Crying. This is bad. Sam also sees this and is also feeling what her wife is feeling.
They both look at Lynn Jr. Luna then grabs two pistols from the dash board and she tosses one to Sam and they point them towards Lynn Jr. "Don't move!" said Sam.
Lincoln stops crying and sees his mom's, he then gets up and runs towards them. "Momma!"
Luna's attention sees the boy run past Lynn and run towards her. But Lynn sees this and grabs Lincoln. "Hey! Put him down Lynn! Put our son down now!" They continue to point their guns at her.
All the students start to panic, but more guards come and calm them down and tell them to get back into the school. Jordan and Teri also help in escorting the kids back into the school.
"No!" said Lynn as she holds onto Lincoln. "I have the rights to see him! He's my nephew and you can't keep him from me!" She knows that with Lincoln in her arms, they can't do anything. "I am gonna bring Lincoln back to the house, so he can see his grandparent's or should I call them his real mom and dad!"
Lincoln is confused by this, but then he bites onto Lynn Jr's arm and kicks her in the stomach. He then runs over to his mother and Luna hugs him. "I got you sweetie, I got you. Momma's here, momma's got ya Lincoln" She can feel him tremble in fear, not from the pain but from what just happened.
Lynn Jr is about to run, but then she's shot in the leg. They all look to Sam. "That was not me."
"Hold it right there Junior" they see it was, Tristen Pingrey. "Don't move or this next shot isn't gonna be on the leg." He was holding a military grade combat rifle. Where did he get that thing anyway?
Lynn sits onto the ground and holds her bleeding leg. "What the hell you asshole!" She tries to get up and make a run for it, Sam notice this and puts the gun on the car, charges over and tackles Lynn Jr and pins her to the ground.
"Stay down Junior! You're only gonna make things worse on ya!" said Sam as she puts her knee on her back, the other on the lower hip and holds both of Lynn's arms. She got some training from StoneHeart.
Tristen arrives and puts hand cuffs on her. "Congratulations Junior, you just broke parole, time for the big time for you." He then helps her back up with the assistance from Sam. "I read your papers, and I guess you're gonna be enjoying 5 years behind bars."
Lynn Jr growls in anger and sees Luna still hugging Lincoln and Sam staring at her angrily. "This isn't over you two! I'll find my way out! Mom and Dad will bail me out! Then I'm coming back for Lincoln! You can't stop me!" She's then shoved into the squad car.
Sam goes over to him and they shake hands. "Thanks for the assist, but what the heck are you doing here? I thought you were living in Cheboygan or something?"
Tristen smiles. "That's the thing, I'm now the chief of police for Royal Woods. Which means Lily is also with me and she'll be starting school here tomorrow, we were supposed to be a surprise till I got a call from one of the guards here on the school while I was on patrol." He then opens his squad car door. "Well, I should be headed to the station and drop this bastard off, see around Louds." He gets into his car and drives off.
Sam is a little stunned that the D. Pingrey's have moved back to Royal Woods and she knows Lincoln and Luna will be happy to know Lily is there, she then goes over to Luna and Lincoln. "Are you okay buddy?" Sam sees the cut. "Hang on Lincoln, I'll get the first aid kit." Sam runs back into the car.
Lincoln continues to hug Luna and cry. "There, there Lincoln. That mean lady is not gonna hurt you anymore, I got you baby. Momma's got you." She continues to comfort the crying boy.
"She … She m-made fun of y-you and Mommy S-Sam!" cried Lincoln. "Sh-She wanted to h-hurt me! She w-wanted to take m-me away!"
The rest of the school comes out and some of them go over and try and cheer up the crying toddler. Looks like he's gonna be the talk of the school.
Soon they clear out the crowd and Luna and Sam have finished tending to his small cut and with the help of some of the sixth graders, they tend to his bruises. That's nice of them.
Jordan goes over to Luna and Sam. "I'm sorry this happened, I should've done something but …. Lynn Jr is just, I don't know anymore. I'm so sorry guys!"
Luna sighs. "It's okay Jordan, I know how Lynn can be and how dangerous she is when someone who doesn't know her well tries to confront her. They usually get hurt or worse and we're not upset with you or Teri. You guys have your own priorities and responsibilities to do."
Jordan still feels bad. "It's alright if Lincoln misses a day of school, I understand he'll need time to heal after what happened to him today." They both look to the boy in the car being hugged by Sam.
Luna thinks about it. "Well, judging from Lincoln he won't take that offer and will wanna come back here. He's a brave kid, even at dark times he'll try and be brave and go forward after some things that happen to him." She then heads to her car. "See you tomorrow Jordan." She closes the door.
Jordan sighs. 'We have got to get more security for this school. Now I'm worried if Lori hears of this, or worse the other louds.' she then goes back to the school to talk with the school board on the phone.
Inside the car, Lincoln sees Luna and goes over and embraces her. "Hey now, it's okay Lincoln. You're not in danger anymore and Principal Rosato said you can have a day off from school tomorrow, if you want."
They soon break the hug and he sits back onto Sam's lap. "No, I still wanna go to school. I'll stay with a grown up inside the school next time. So I won't have to deal with other strangers like Lynn Junior."
Sam strokes his hair. "You're a brave kid son, but we don't want you to get hurt. So we're gonna have someone be there to keep an eye on you tomorrow. Someone you and your momma Luna know."
Luna and Lincoln are confused and look to Sam. "Who?"
Sam chuckles. "Let's talk about this when we get home, we could all use some rest." Luna then starts the car and they head home, tomorrow was a new day and this time Lincoln won't have to be alone.
A/N: Not quite the first day of school they were all expecting, but at least some things will be sent away until the reunion comes. Next chapter will be about Lily, though I think I might skip it a few weeks so it'll be in range with their Grade School Reunion, which means here comes Clyde McBride, anyone have an idea on how Clyde will react to this?
