(The Loud House.)
Multiple vehicles make their way through the roads, these vehicle each have some family within them, a family that was shattered years ago from an incident that costed the life of their only son/brother Lincoln and now they are all inbound to the place where it all happened. Let's see whose inbound.
Pink Convertible – Leni and Luan.
Black Sedan – Lucy.
Blue Custom designed Satan's Camaro – Lana and Lola.
Grey Lamborghini – Lisa.
Black Pickup truck – Lily.
All six vehicle stop on front of the house and they park nearby. They all come out and look to each other, it has been so long since they have last come together and just talk, they didn't do much talking when it was Pop-pop's funeral years ago.
They then look to the house, the very same house where they all played, fought, laughed and had so many great adventures and they could've had more. But fate came and ripped the family apart.
They can see Vanzilla was still there, and looking repaired and somewhat new, next to it is a red pickup truck which belongs to Lynn Loud Jr. they even see the house next door, one once belonging to good old Mr. Grouse, a shame he isn't there anymore. They kinda missed him, and none of them got the chance to say goodbye to the cantankerous old geezer. His house does look like it has changed and there seems to be a blue Mercedes parked there.
They see the tree in the front yard is still there and also still there is the tire swing they all played on and all the toys have been removed, the house has never looked clean and she does look like she got some new paint. Lenin looks to the window on the left side of the house that was the room she once shared with Lori and Lisa looks to the right side and sees the window of the room she once shared with Lily.
The 20 year old Lily D. Pingrey looks to the house, she has little to memory of this place and only knows that this is where they all used to live, as one big happy family. This was the house where Lincoln had to endure everything, living under the roof with 10 sisters, she questioned how the heck did he survive and manage to keep his sanity. She has grown to look like Lori when she was 20. Wearing a white shirt with magenta sleeves, blue leggings, white socks, magenta sneakers and she lets her hair down to the length point of her back. She now works as an art teacher in the Royal Woods High School.
Lily sees that the rest of the family has aged well in their years since they last saw Lincoln. They may have changed in looks, but deep down they all have this painful memory in them, the memory of what happened to their brother, Lincoln. Some traits of the past are still in them as well.
Leni is still doing well at Reiningers and is now 34. Now wearing a knee length sea foam dress, white jacket, a pink belt and teal shoes and a large white sun hat, her hair is long and well her hair is the longest in the family that reaches her back. She's still living with Luan as her housemate and Leni is getting married next month to Chaz. She finally had the courage to move on and start a family maybe.
Luan is now 32 years old. Wearing a blue top, with a pink flower on it, yellow jacket and yellow skirt with blue leggings, yellow knee high socks and brown shoes. She still has some old looks of her comedian self, she isn't planning on finding love yet, she knows Benny is with Maggie and that was long ago, she did find someone she admires and has a hard time trying to get him to admire her, but she's not gonna give up.
Lucy S. Spokes the 26 year old woman, as elegant as she looks. Wearing a white shirt with a black bleeding skull logo on the front and back, black knee ripped jeans and black boots. Her hair is tied into a ponytail and no one can see what she looks like, she is already married to Rocky Spokes. Rocky knows about what she did long ago and he knows she regrets it still, he can accept her back and help her find some closure to the past. Lucy is a successful author to her books and is planning on two more.
Lola Henderson, 24 years old and married to her childhood crush Winston. Wearing a pink top, pink jeans with a yellow belt, pink off shoulder dress and pink high heels, and her hair is in let down and only reaches the middle of her back. Yeah, she's still pink and she works as the dance instructor to her own class in the Royal Woods High School.
Lana Mellborrow, 24 years old and married to her childhood crush Skippy. Wearing light blue shorts with a brown belt, white shirt, blue jacket, white socks and dark blue sneakers, she no longer wears the hat but her hair is in a ponytail. She runs the auto shop in town.
Lisa Helmandollar, 22 years old and not married yet. She says she doesn't have time for love until she feels it is time. Wearing a green long sleeved polo, brown pants and brown shoes, still has her glasses and her hair seems the same. She works as the teacher for the community college in Royal Woods, but also still does her work for the government in her home at Huntington Oaks.
As you should all know, Lucy, Lola and Lana have moved back to Royal Woods, they know that the day will come when the reunion begins and this is it. Time to go home.
Lucy then notices that one car is missing. "Where are Luna and Sam?"
Leni sighs. "They said they'll be here soon, we just have to wait and be patient." They all agree to that and head to the house.
They all look around and they recall so many good memories. Texting by the porch, reading a fashion magazine, listening to some music, laughing at some jokes, kicking around a soccer ball, writing some poems, playing in the mud, driving around in a pink car, observing everyone and walking around without a diaper. Those were some good times, they then look back to the tree and they feel as if they can see the faint image of a boy reading his comic books.
They all look to the door and Lily is about to ring the doorbell but then Leni stops her. "Wait! We need to see if the doorbell is still busted."
"I got this." Lana uses a slingshot she has and grabs a pebble, with good aim she hits the doorbell and it rings like normal without making any buzzing sounds or sparking. "Huh, I guess they had it fixed. Nice."
The door then opens and they see them, Lynn Sr, Rita, Lori and Lynn Jr. The only ones who still live close by and or in the house. They see they have aged in their time.
Rita and Lynn Loud Sr at the age of their early 60's. They still live in the same house and both of them now wearing glasses. Living with them still is Lynn Loud Jr, we know what she looks like now from the previous chapter.
Lori lives next door to them, she has taken up residence of the home that Mr. Grouse once lived in, now she is 35 years old. Her hair is tied into a ponytail, wearing a light blue top, with a teal jacket, blue jeans and light blue heeled shoes. She works as the manager of the miniature golf course and she hasn't been married, some part of her still hurts from the times she could never regain her brother's forgiveness, so she hasn't moved on yet.
As we know, Lynn Loud Jr. at 31 and is not looking for someone to be her man. She would rather be herself and be as strong as she is now. But deep down, she knows she has weakness and she has to embrace it, she works as the coach to the Royal Woods Middle School, she tries her best to not make the same mistakes as her old self did years ago. She does her best to accept losing and helps teach her team all about taking all of the victory and defeat with pride and honor.
Lynn Sr and Rita were glad to see them here, the people who were once their kids. Well, Leni and Luan still bare the last name of Loud. Lynn Sr and Rita were just a bit sad to see Lucy, Lana, Lola, Lisa and Lily. But they were glad that they are all living their lives in Royal Woods and trying make a name for themselves here, even though the history of what they did years ago is still left to remember.
"Well, come in fam" said Lynn Sr. That was the first time he's said that word, in a long, long time.
They all come inside and they see, the house hasn't changed on the inside. But they do see the trophy case is empty. The only thing residing there are all of their pictures, Lynn Sr and Rita decided to make it into the family case, so that they'll remember of the good times they all had when they were all together.
The whole house at the bottom floor really did look the same, except for the TV and a few missing things by the fireplace.
They also noticed that some small critters were no longer there. Charles, Cliff, Geo and Walt's are gone. When the house became empty, the pets were taken into an animal shelter and they may have found new homes elsewhere, or they may have met their end the natural way. They missed them, mostly Lana.
"Well, this sure has some memories" said Leni. "A lot of memories."
"Pretty darn good and thoughtful memories" said Luan.
"Memories of who we were years ago, sigh" said Lucy.
"Sure wish I recalled some of those memories, but I don't" replied Lily.
"This place is still a cesspool of poorly living conditions to me, I question how it is even still standing" said Lisa.
Lana takes a sniff around the house. "Man, she still smells like her old and rustic self."
Lola also smells it and covers her nose. "Sure does, this place is still the same on the outside as it in on the inside."
"Well we did do some minor changes to the place" replied Rita. "We got some professionals to fix some issues with the old house, like the creaky floor boards, the slanty floors, the doorbell, all the broken door knobs, the leak in the basement, the hole in the bathroom, the bathroom pipes, the TV antennae, the internet wiring, Vanzilla of course and the air conditioning.
"Well, that's some good news to hear" said Lisa.
"The one thing that may surprise you guys are the rooms" said Lori. They are confused by what she just said. "The rooms are …. Still there, but I don't think we should go in unless we're all here."
"Speaking of which, where he heck are they?" asked Lynn Jr.
"Luna and Sam said that we should wait, they'll be here soon" replied Luan. Then they hear the doorbell ring. "Wow! Speaking of the devil who goes down the "Highway to Hell!" Some of the chuckle at that pun.
Rita goes over to the door and is a bit nervous, she knows it's been a long, long time since she gazed upon the musically inclined Loud of the house, the one who was the loudest the most in the family.
Rita looks to all of them, they were all looking nervous. Well, not Leni, Luan, Lisa and Lily. They know that it was time for all of them to meet and also talk with him.
Rita opens the door and there they are, the two lost pieces to the family. Oh, and Sam is with them too.
Luna S. Loud, 33 Year's old and still Rockin' and Rollin' it up to 11. She's wearing a purple off shoulder top with a white skull on it, purple jacket, and black leggings with a white belt and black boots with white straps on them.
Sam S. Loud, 33 Year's old and like her lover also in the big time music business stick. Wearing a white shirt with the logo of "The Who?" along with a skull logo on the back, light blue short sleeved jacket with a lightning bolt logo on the back, brown knee torn leggings with a violet belt and purple boots.
Lincoln S. Loud, 11 Year's old and ….. Well we all know what he does from the last chapter. He came in, wearing an orange polo, blue jeans and white shoes. Like old times.
The very sight of Lincoln was enough to break their hearts, though Lily never knew what her brother wore long ago, she was a baby after all.
"It's …. It's good to see you all, all of you back here" replied Rita, trying to hold back her tears.
Luna and Sam can tell this was heart burning to all of them, and they walk in along with Lincoln. "Wow, this place still looks the same" said Luna. "Nothing changed one bit, well except for a few things."
Sam on the other hand has never been into their house before, so she has no clue what it even looks like. She is currently holding Lincoln's hand, the boy is a bit nervous at first. But seeing the house still looking the same was bringing back some good memories into him.
"So, does anyone want anything to eat?" asked Lynn Sr. "I can whip us up something good for all of us to enjoy while we all talk." They don't respond and just look towards Lincoln.
Sam then let's go of Lincoln and they all watch as he goes around the house and touches everything, he sees his old video games were still there and are a bit dusty. They all remain silent and follow his every movement. Lincoln then sees the stairs and he takes one step and heads up.
They all decide to follow him and see what's going to happen next. None of them know what Luna and Sam know.
Lincoln looks at the hallway and sighs, he then ventures to each room, he goes to the eldest rooms and he recalls the times they all had sibling meetings, he would help Leni and get kicked out by Lori. Lori and Leni also look at the room, the same as it was when they left it.
Lincoln proceeds into the next room, the room of the entertainment duo. He recalls the times he would help them with their jokes, Funny Business Inc. and with their music, mostly listen to the music. Luna and Luan also look inside and they see that all their stuff is gone, they did come over to get them back.
Lincoln proceeds to the room of the Goth and the Jock. He remembers the séances, the balls hitting around the room, the bats flying everywhere and the smell of bad clothes. He does see the smelly clothing is gone, looks like Lynn cleaned up. Lucy looks into the room and sees her coffin is still there and so is her things from the past like Edwin's bust. She sees Lynn's bed is the same, but most of her stuff is either gone or replaced.
Lincoln then goes over to the twin's room. He recalls the many times he would feed the pets, play pretend and stop their squabbling over whatever it was they fought for. Lola and Lana go into the room and they remember, everything they did there, they fought and they played. Lola goes onto her bed and cries, Lana sits next to her and hugs her pink twin. Memories of who they are, are now lost within the place.
Lincoln sees the room of the very youngest, he goes in with Lily and Lisa following. Lisa recalls she did remove all of her things from the place, or they have been confiscated after the family's arrest, but she missed this room, so much. Lily looks to see a crib and some toys still there, she tries her best but all she can recall is playing around, and making noises to speak to the others. This was her room, and this is where she had fun as a 15 month old infant.
Lincoln leaves that room and sees all of them outside of they're rooms. He could see a small flash of when they were all together back then and young. Lincoln then sees the one room that has never been opened for a long, long time. His room, he slowly reaches for the knob and when he opens it, he is shocked to see … His stuff.
All the others gather and see …. It's all there! "Mom and dad got it all back" they look to Lynn Jr and Lori. "They did their best and they spend a lot of cash trying to get back all that was sold, Lori and I helped out."
"Took us 10 years to make this room the way it was from before" said Lori. "After we got everything back and made it as it was, Mom and Dad didn't know what else to do to the room, but just leave it be so that's what we all agreed to do. We never set foot into this room ever since we got all of it back. Until today." They all look to Lincoln, and wondered what he was thinking.
Lincoln looks around and sees al of his stuff. His comic books, his clothes, his action figures, his laptop, his bed, his posters, the clock, notebooks, the old walkie talkie, a picture of himself and Clyde, the old family portrait and ….. Bun-Bun, just sitting there, looking at him. Lincoln picks up the stuffed rabbit and looks at it. 'Bun-Bun, it's been so long since I last saw you buddy.'
Lincoln then leaves the room and holds Luna's hand, he then leads her down the stairs with the other's following behind. They all see Lynn Sr and Rita still standing there as if they were waiting for them to come back.
"Are you all okay?" asked Rita.
"We're fine mom, just had some good memories to recall up there" replied Lori.
Lincoln looks to Lynn Sr. "You asked if we wanted something to eat." They looked to Lincoln. Lincoln thought it was time. "How about some …. Mac n' Cheese Bites, or maybe some Chicken Nuggets for old times' sake."
Lynn Sr smiles. "Alright, coming right up …. " He stops and goes back and looks to Lincoln. "What did you just say?" Rita covers her mouth and is wide eyed.
The others are also shocked at what he just said, Luna and Sam smile. "The jig is up and it's time to tell them the truth Lincoln" said Luna. Sam chuckles and so does Lincoln.
The white haired boy looks to all of them. "Hey guys, you all got older and …. Got new lives, well done."
It then hit them, Lincoln is back! They all look to him and some of them wanna embrace him for his return, but he raises his hand in front of him to signal not to. "As much as a hug would be nice, I think we all need to have a talk about some certain things." Luna and Sam stand by his side as he speaks.
"Lincoln is right dudes, we need to talk about this before things get emotional" replied Luna.
They all agreed and took their seats, Lincoln sat by the arm chair with Luna and Sam standing by his sides. "So, Lincoln." They look to Lori. "Do you ….. Do you remember everything now?"
"Yes, yes I do Lori" replied Lincoln. "After what happened yesterday between Chandler and Lynn, something in me triggered seeing the one who was responsible for dubbing me bad luck, seeing her show signs of regret and sadness, and that woke up the real me. Lincoln Loud, the kid you all remember and I know that many of you are feeling so much guilt after what has happened to me."
Lynn Sr and Rita look to Lynn Jr. "So, what you did yesterday is true, you did save Luna, Sam and Lincoln replied Rita.
"Told ya" replied Lynn Jr.
"Wait" said Lucy. "If you remember everything, what about the Lincoln who grew up with Luna and Sam? The kid who was raised and born from Luna? The one who was confused about everything that has been happening around him? Where's that Lincoln?" They all looked to the 11 year old boy for an answer. Luna and Sam also wanna know if he's still there.
Lincoln smiled. "Still in here, we both share this for and we both are now sharing the memories of old and the memories of new. It's kinda weird, but I guess we're used to each other's company."
"Hmm, sounds like something out of a science fiction series or film" replied Lisa.
Lincoln chuckles. "Call it what you want, I just see it as a way of reincarnation and also sharing, but it sure is kinda sad to know that all my pals and all of you grew up and I'm still like this. But, I can accept it and I know I can handle the situation with the two women who helped raise me, and it's also shocking to me that I can do kick boxing and wanna learn how to use a gun. I guess changing into this new life improved me."
They were all glad that he found some new talent, talent that can prove truly useful for him one day. The older siblings have been trying to get him to like what they like, but it seems Luna may have saved him and given him the talent he truly needs, whether it be by guitar or through self-defense. Lynn Jr feels like this is a win for her because Lincoln finally did what she wanted him to do, toughen up. A shame she didn't get to train him, but she is proud of the kid.
Lincoln." The white-haired boy looks to the elderly couple. "We ….. We're so sorry, so, so sorry for what happened to you" said Lynn Sr as he sheds some tears. "We should've stopped it from happening, we should've done something, and we should've been better parents but ….. We weren't."
"We let our beliefs over one of your sister's get to the best of us, we were fools and cowards to not see this. All of this" cried Rita. "If we had stopped it, then maybe you could've still be alive today, alive and living happily with the love and understanding from all of us!" Rita soon starts to sod her heart out. "Wh-What kind of parents are we?!"
"We let you go to our events and e tortured you!" cried Lori.
"We treated you like garbage and we never gave you the chance to speak your word!" cried Leni.
"We let all of our accomplishments and dreams get in the way of our family!" said Luan as she cries.
"You had my back before, but I didn't have yours!" cried Lucy. "And I looked up to you! But instead I just gazed down!"
"We were mean to you, we were horrible and we shunned you out!" cried the twins.
"In all my years, I can finally say that I am no genius. I failed to fully see the problem at hand and failed to stop it before it got out of hand. I let it all run like it was one big simulation, I hate my 4 year old self! Why wasn't I just like every normal kid?!" cried Lisa.
"This …. All of this ….. I provoked you with the ….. The b-bad luck, all you wanted was s-some alone time. I …. I killed you, I killed you back t-then. I'm sorry Lincoln!" cried Lynn Jr.
Lily also starts to cry. "I ….. I wish … I wish I …. I was better than my baby self! I n-never got a …. A chance to grow up w-with you!"
Luna starts to cry, she wants to say something but she knows she said all she could and that Lincoln understand how she feels, same goes with Sam.
Lincoln knows they have lived their whole lives in pain, misery, guilt and regret. It pained him to see them all like this, all of them, and deep down Luna also felt the same way as well. Lincoln then gets up and walks towards all of them, with his arms stretched open. They all look to the boy at what he was trying to do. "Family group hug."
This breaks their hearts and they all gather to him and embrace each other into one good old Loud Family Group Hug. Like old times, very old times. Lincoln starts to shed some tears as he enjoys this moment that they lost, he felt as if he had his family back. But that was not the case and he knew there was still more to talk about.
They all break the group hug after tem minutes, and Lincoln looks to all of them. "Look, I'll be blunt with all of you." He then looks to his former parents. "I still hate you both with every fiber of my being and I don't think I can ever forgive you two, at least ….. At least mot at the moment."
Rita and Lynn Sr could tell there was something else up with Lincoln. "But, I am willing to give the two of you a chance to make things right and if you can prove to me and everyone that you're actually sorry for what you did, then maybe I'll …. Consider forgiving you two. But as of now, I'd rather see Luna, and Sam as my parents." He then looks to the others. "And that goes for the rest of you, all of you have done so much wrong to me and I wanna see how all of you can prove to me that things will be made right once again, and I am willing to wait for as long as we all live. Are we all clear?"
They all nod and agree to this. They knew that there would be a long and dreary road to go through in order to earn back what they lost, the trust, forgiveness and the love of their long lost brother Lincoln.
Lincoln then has an idea. "And since we're all here, and together and I know that many of us have no plans for today. How about we all hang out here for the day, until night comes? Like before, when we were all together."
They all smiled hearing that. "That literally sounds like a great idea, twerp." They all chuckle at what Lori said. They then all get up and they race outside to the backyard.
Lynn Sr and Rita watch them all having fun like old times. Even though they're all grownups, they seem to be having a blast running around, and doing what they did from before.
They see Lori pushing Lily on the tire swing, Leni talking about her magazine to Lisa while she speaks about science stuff, Lynn Jr playing with her soccer ball with Lana and both of them were getting muddy, Lola looking at herself in the mirror with Lucy behind her writing a poem, Luan brought her dummy Mr. Coconuts and she tells some jokes, then they see Lincoln laughing as he and Luna and Sam are tuning their guitars and making a song about Ace Savvy. The very sight of this, was enough for Lynn Sr and Rita to have a small flashback, a flashback of when they were all in one place and having fun, like old times.
They eventually go back inside and they enjoy the food Lynn Sr made, some of them kinda missed his food and how it smelled and tasted. Lily then recalls eating some of this food.
They then spend one last sibling meeting in Lori and Leni's old room, all of them sharing what they have done lately, and this time they let their parents in so this is technically a family meeting.
They help Lily by sharing her some old pictures from the album, the album that contained all of their memories of who they are and what they all did before. Then Lynn Sr and Rita told Lincoln his true birth story, but it turns out Lincoln knew from last night from Luna and Sam. They did they're research when they were raising Lincoln and they helped tell them that it was the first lady who helped Lincoln come into the world.
Lily laughs seeing some pictures of herself spending time with all of her siblings, mostly with Lincoln.
But eventually, all good things have to come to an end and they all have to leave, the time is now half past 4 and many of them had some things to do on the following day. They all take their leave from the loud house.
Each of them gives Lincoln a hug before they head off, and each of them hopes they can earn his forgiveness one day. In which Lincoln responds. "I hope so to."
Lincoln then looks to the three remaining louds in the house, Lynn Sr, Rita and Lynn Jr. "Lynn Sr, Rita. I don't know when we'll meet again, but it might be for a long time and when we do … I hope I can actually see you two as family, and same goes with Junior over there."
They all understand and they know that one day, they can all be a family once again. Perhaps they can all meet again on Thanksgiving. They all watch as Lincoln boards the car with his two mom's Luna and Sam.
He looks back at them and so does Luna and they wave goodbye to the whole family. They let them take their leave first, and they all watch as the car drives off and disappears from view.
Soon, one by one they all get into their rides and they all take off with one last wave of goodbye to them and they drive off to their lives.
Lori walks back to her house, and she waves goodbye to her mom, dad and Lynn Jr before going back inside, seeing her brother and gaining the chance to earn his forgiveness is filling her heart with the love she lost. Perhaps it's time she found that special someone.
Rita and Lynn Sr sigh and share a quick kiss and return back inside. Lynn Jr looks up to the sky, and she heads out of the house and sits on the tire swing by the tree and looks around and she hums a tune, a tune of a song that was once heard when Lincoln had to survive his awesome life with his family.
(Hours later, elsewhere.)
A group of 7 people re gathered at the park, all of them have no clue as to why they are even there and around night time, and they're all at the gazebo. Each one is 29 years old.
"So, does anyone here know what we're all doin'?" asked Liam.
Tabby checks her phone. "Last I checked, Luna told me for us to wait for her and Sam."
Jordan looks at her schedule. "Well, whatever it is, I hope we can speed this up. I got some grades to check on tomorrow."
"Same, though I gotta bring Polly on our anniversary tomorrow" replied Rusty.
"Dang, it's getting kinda late" said Zach. He then looks up. "The night looks kinda cool with these stars out."
"Let's be patient with them, maybe they'll be here soon and we can get this whole meeting thing done" said Ronnie Anne. "I should also see how my mom is doing."
Clyde sighs and looks around and looks to see the place round the park did bring back some cool memories of being with his long lost best friend Lincoln. "This place is always nice to come to."
The others also agreed, they felt happy to be back in Royal Woods. Then they see them, Luna and Sam.
"Glad you dudes all came" said Luna.
"Sorry to keep you guys waiting" chuckled Sam.
"So, what's this all about?" asked Jordan.
Luna and Sam then step aside and they show them someone. "Hey guys, it's been too long" smiled Lincoln.
They all go wide eyed seeing him, and what he just said.
Clyde and Ronnie Anne only say one thing. "Lincoln?"
Lincoln chuckles. "We have a lot of catching up to do, all of us."
