Toshinori's Apartment..
"Y- you guys.." Toshinori let out a word of disbelief. "TOSHINORI-KUUUN!" Came the voice of an enthusiastic, little girl. Izumi lunged herself into the direction of her saviour.
She gave the older teen an embrace, laughing as she did. "Hey there, kid..." Despite his confusion, he still managed the time to ruffle her hair gently, smiling wholesomely, "You doing okay while I was gone?"
"Mhm!" Izumi looked up to her saviour, "I missed you!"
"Missed ya too, kid.." Toshinori replied back, rubbing her hair gently. He then stood up, before asking, "Now..uh.." He then looked at the Yaoyoruzu family, "Mind explaining.. what's going on?" He asked, as Izumi is still in her clingy behaviour, clutching to his thighs.
Genos then took a step, "They came to me, and asked where you live. I, of course, told them! And with their creation quirk, they can easily replicate your key, and that's how we got in!" Toshinori was surprised by his answer, but didn't held it against the boy. While Toshinori didn't like random people entering his apartment, these people were the parents of the girl he rescued. It's only natural that they wanted to thank the person who did so.
But seriously...replicating my key?!
"Ah...Toshinori, I presume?" The woman spoke, accompanied by what looked like her husband. Toshinori slightly bowed his head, "Yes, ma'am, that's me."
"So I was told...you were participating in the entrance exams held by the prestigious school, the U.A academy..You want to become a hero?" The woman asked again curiously.
"Ah, yes! That's correct, ma'am." Toshinori replied. The woman smiled, "A noble goal. That's why you saved my daughter. You acted accordingly to your dream profession." The woman's expression went down in a moment, "Oh, yes, I forgot to introduce myself..my name is Yaoyoruzu Yurusoba, while my husband here is Yaoyoruzu Mikoto. We came here to visit, and to compensate you for what you did."
Compensation? Seriously, this again?"
Toshinori shook his head, "While I'd love to receive a gift from kind people, I have to decline. I don't do this for a reward."
The woman let out a chuckle, "We are very aware that you don't ask for compensation, but we insist."
The man then added, "We feel very indebted to you, Yagi-san. Our daughter is everything to us. If it means getting her back, we would throw every single last of our wealth for her."
"Oooookay I get it, parental love and all but...you guys are not indebted to me, like, at all." Toshinori replied, causing both Genos and Yui to smile, "You guys don't have to carry that burden, really. It makes me feel horrible." Toshinori finished.
Both the Yaoyoruzu's smiled widely. This kid was phenomenal. He had one of the most richest family at his doorstep, offering him a lifetime worth of wealth, and he's trying to decline it.
"But if you keep insisting.." Toshinori added again, "You could use that wealth for my mom. She's a hard-working person, you know? She deserves it." He finished.
Yorosuba laughed lightly, "You're a phenomenon, Yagi-san. Kids your age would've loved nothing more but a mountain worth of money, but you declined it, and instead, redirected the compensation to your own mother."
Uhhh...I didn't say anything special, did I? Toshinori thought again. Seriously, every time he does what he thinks is right, some person approaches him and treats him like he's a goddamn royalty.
"But now we know what to do. We will compensate both you and your mother. You, for having a great character, and of course, for saving our daughter. Your mother, for raising a great kid such as yourself." Yorosuba spoke again, causing Toshinori to jump off the ground in shock, much to Izumi's displeasure, "M- M- miss Yaoyoruzu-san, ma'am, I said it was not--"
"Done." Yaoyoruzu Yurusoba said while doing something in her phone, "Your compensation has been sent."
N- n- n- NANI?!
Genos nudged his older friend, "Come on, just accept it. I know you're struggling financially, so take it as a blessing."
Yui interjected too, "Yeah! Come on, Toshinori-san, it wouldn't hurt, right?"
"But...but.." Toshinoti was interrupted by Yui, scowling at him, "But nothing! You deserved it."
"Now, if you don't mind, tell me about your mother's bank account." Yurusoba asked again. Toshinori scratched his back, This isn't necessary!
A few minutes later..
Toshinori was served a giant birthday cake right in his face. They were sitting in a cafe. After sending that humongous money to his mom, they decided to choose a proper place to celebrate his birthday. He didn't expect the place to be so luxurious.
"G- guys, this is..this is too much, I.." Toshinori didn't know what to say. To be frank, he didn't get the time and money to experience this kind of luxury before.
Genos's mouth was full, but he replied regardless, "I didn't expect this too, Toshinori-kun! But regardless, we should enjoy ourselv-" He was smacked in the head by Yui, "Swallow your food before talking, idiot!"
Genos mouthed a gentle, "Gomen", before swallowing his food. Izumi stayed besides Toshinori the whole time, smiling and laughing as she rests her head on him.
Toshinori looked at the girl, who was resting her head in silent, humming to herself. To break the silence between him and Izumi, Toshinori asked, "..Hey, Izu-chan, how come you never called me? I mean, you were feeling pretty uncomfortable right after I left, right?"
Izumi looked at him, before looking away, embarrassed, "Um..I didn't want to..disturb you.."
Toshinori stared at her in disbelief. That's why she didn't call for a month? He ruffled her hair gently, "Aw, that's why? Kid, that's not true. If you called me earlier, I wouldn't have thought of it as a disturbance. Kinda worried me for over a month, you know? I thought something really happened to you."
"Well..I feel like I've been a bother enough.." The girl admitted. "Nonsense! You can talk to me, anytime you want!" Toshinori replied with a wide smile, "Got it?"
"Un!" Yaoyoruzu Izumi replied adorably, causing Toshinori to smile. "It seems that our daughter has taken a liking to you." Yurusoba said happily. "She's pretty cute." Toshinori bluntly said, before realising his blunder and immediately put his hand on his mouth, "Oof, shit!"
Both the older Yaoyoruzu's laughed in amusement. Yurusoba teased, "Who knows. The age gap between you both is not that much of a distance. Maybe you two could find your destinies in each other." Before chuckling to herself.
Toshinori widened his eyes at what she meant, before he became a stuttering mess, "S- she's just a kid!" he finished, blushing in embarrassment.
Yurusoba laughed out loud, "Calm down, t'was but a joke." She explained, before sipping her coffee. The birthday cake was still sitting in their table, about to run out.
They continued to chatter between themselves, enjoying the very moment presented before them.
Meanwhile...
Tatsumaki sat in her living room, alone, with no one bothering her. She recalled what happened earlier.
Oh right..I was attending for U.A's entrance exam...and then, bumped into that weird, but nice...wait did I say nice? Fuck it. Anyways, so I met that blue-eyed weirdo, antagonized him a bit, which, I admit, is fucking unnecessary, I don't even know why I did it. But despite all that, the guy still saved me from what looked like a certain death.
Tatsumaki blushed a bit when she thought about what happened after that. "Yagi Toshinori.." She muttered under her breath, "What is your deal..?"
Suddenly, a loud voice of a girl came from her room, "Onee-chaaan!" the girl exclaimed in excitement. The girl was, without a doubt, Fubuki.
Fubuki was one of her only remaining family, while everyone else...Shit, don't have time to cry about it.
"Lil sis..." Tatsumaki whispered, a slight smile crept in her face. A genuine one. The little girl leaped and hugged her older sister, "Welcome home!"
Tatsumaki returned the hug, before asking her, "How's things? Did school went well?"
The little, enthusiastic girl nodded in advance, "Things were exciting today! I formed a squad, and we decided to name it, 'The Blizzard Group'!"
Tatsumaki raised her brow, "A group? For what?"
"Well, eh.." The little girl scratched her head sheepishly, "You know..getting through school alone is hard and all, and I only got, you know, average grades, so we decided to create a group, and they made me the leader."
Tatsumaki, instead of being confused even further, only smiled in response, "Hope that works out well for you.."
"Uh-huh! It will! I will raise my grades higher and make you proud, big sis!" Fubuki exclaimed. Tatsumaki laughed a bit, before realising something. Shit! I left her without making any breakfast earlier! I'm such an idiot!
"Did you eat earlier?" Tatsumaki asked in a slight panicked tone. Fubuki looked around, before nodding, "My friend came earlier and gave me a bento..it was delicious!"
Tatsumaki sighed in relief. But it still doesn't excuse her blunder though. Fucking idiot, leaving your sister like that without anything to eat. IDIOT, IDIOT, IDIOT! Tatsumaki began mentally berate herself.
"Um, big sis, you okay?" Fubuki asked, concerned. Tatsumaki snapped out of her thoughts before replying, "I'm fine, don't worry about it..I just gotta go and take a shower. Don't cause a trouble behind my back while you're at it, kay?"
Little sister nodded, "I won't!" Tatsumaki gave her a slight nod, before heading to the bathroom. Fubuki then let out what she was going to say, "Love you, big sis!"
Tatsumaki stopped for a bit, before replying, "Love you too, Fubuki." before heading to the bathroom for real. She smiled to herself, I'm glad I have her as my little sister.
Somewhere in Musutafu..
King walked his way home, pocketing both of his hands into his shirt, keeping his intimidating expression on despite not on purpose.
His peers from Mustafa Private High School were looking at him as if they were seeing a godly being descending from the highest realms of the heavens. It makes King sick to his stomach. He didn't want people to fear him. He tried several times that he was nothing but a wimpy kid, but they dismissed it and thought the scarred boy was using a ruse before deciding to devour them when they weren't looking.
At least that blond-haired nice guy gets it... He sighed. He looked around, trying to find someone, just one person that isn't afraid of him. He's starting to think that his quirk is just a bad luck on his part.
I'm better off being quirkless, to be honest...but hopefully, when I become a pro-hero, people wouldn't fear me any-
He was cut off when the crowd were screaming in panic.
A villain attack?
A maniacal laughter erupted among the panicked crowds. "HAHAHAHA! Scream and run like the insects you are!" The mech-armed villain tried to intimidate the citizens, "If you want me to spare your life, offer me a sacrifice! Bring me...YOUR CHILDREN, and of course, don't forget one more important detail: They have to be prettier than the fucking prettiest rose in the entire world."
The crowds were panicking even more.
"A pro-hero will come.."
"Hopefully they will."
"This guy is fucking nuts!"
"A pro-hero, eh?" The mech-armed villain asked in a mocking tone, before lifting what looked like a remote of some sorts, with a red button resting on the middle, "If they set their self-righteousness of a fucking foot here, I'll set this place on fire. Oh, you thought I came here unprepared?! The place is covered by a dome right now, so none of you will escape until I get what I want! Try as much to call a pro-hero, and I'll blow this fucking block into dust!" he threatened, causing panic amongst the crowds.
"We're gonna die!"
"If we die here...just know that I've always loved you."
"HEEEELPPP!!"
The mech-armed villain laughed maniacally at the sight. He loved seeing these pathetic insects cower in fear before him. It was the best part of his job as a provider for the human-traffickers.
But suddenly..
THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!
A loud noise was heard. The villain raised his brow, trying to find the source of the voice. He walked, and walked, but to no avail. He didn't find the source.
The noise was heard again, nevertheless.
THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!
"Okay..this is getting annoying.." The villain groaned, before bumping into a teen. He looked him in the face, and notice the aura of intimidation he had.
Some of the students of Mustafa Private High School were unfortunately there, before screaming, "Oh shit! That's him! That's King! Mister, you're screwed!"
The crowds were confused beyond anything. What were these brats even talking about? Why are they warning the villain about a mere kid?
"HE'S EVEN WORSE THAN THAT VILLAIN!" One teen said, before the other warned, "Mister, stay away from him! That's the King Engine! You'll get screwed up pretty bad if you get close to him while that noise is heard!"
The villain looked at them, dumbstruck, before laughing lightly, "Hahahah! Fools. How could I possibly be scared of a mere..." He then looked at the intimidating, blond-haired kid again, "Mere..."
Suddenly, the world turned black, and it looked like as if King was increasing in size, looking down on him with that intimidating look, accompanied by the intense loud noises that he produced.
"Mere..." The villain muttered again, before beads of sweat fell from his forehead, "Kid.." he finished, before fear took him over.
"No..." He whimpers, taking a step back. His body was shaking, his sweats were drowning his cheeks. He fell into the ground, tears leaking out of his eyes.
In a second, the villain turned from an intimidating figure into a crybaby, as he bowed down before the kid immediately, "S- SORRY! I'M SORRY, SIR, KING! I.. I DIDN'T MEAN IT! I WON'T HURT YOU, OR ANY OF THEM! PLEASE, LET ME GO! LET ME GO! HAVE MERCY!"
"I'm sorry, but wha-" King was immediately interrupted when the villain pulled out his remote control, before frantically pressing the buttons, which caused the dome to immediately disappear.
He began whimpering and crying, running away, "STAY AWAY FROM ME! HELP ME! SOMEONE, HELP! HELPPP! I'D RATHER ROT IN A FUCKING CELL THAN TO BE IN THE SAME SPACE AS THAT GUY! HEEELPP!!" He ran away, throwing the remote controller away into the wall, instantly shattering it into pieces.
Everyone looked at the running villain, dumbstruck, before turning to the 'intimidating' kid.
"What...was that?" Everyone asked in the same time. King scratched his head sheepishly, "Honestly?" He stopped scratching his head, before continuing, "No fucking idea." he shrugged.
In an instant, everyone felt an air of intimidation from him, before they started running away in panic. Chaos erupted in the streets, and all that remains, is the seemingly calm, but afraid-inside King.

What the fuck is even my life anymore?
King was frustrated. Beyond frustrated. Even villains are afraid of him? Is this some kinda joke?! He kicked a can near him, before walking away from the scene, sneaking and preventing himself from being seen, because if he did, he's in for a world of pain.
He's looking forward for yesterday. The nameless friend he met earlier, maybe he wouldn't be so bad.
He drifted away in the distance, hoping that the games back in home will calm him down. What a joke of a day.
Meanwhile, with Hitoshi Bad...
Bad walked through the streets, his Metal Bat held in his right shoulder. He looked around, before wondering, Wonder what you're doing right now, Oji. He internally asked.
However, his train of thoughts was interrupted when a feminine figure emerged, before pinching the older teen's ears aggressively, "Now, now, now, older bro..."
Bad winced at the pain, before looking back, "Zenko-chan??" he asked loudly.
"We haven't finished talking this morning." Zenko said in a threatening tone, "You went away without looking back, leaving your dear little sister behind like a jerk! How dare you!"
"Ouch, ouch, ouch! Sorry! I was kind of in a hurry, Zenko-chan! I- I promise! I wasn't avoiding the topic at all!" Bad replied, panicked at the wrath of his one and only sister.
"I was hurt, you know? I was talking about my raise in grade, and you decided to run off doing god knows what, I thought you'd be proud of me!" Zenko whined. Bad panicked, feeling a bit guilty, "I'm really sorry, but you see! I..Did I told you that the U.A entrance exam took place in like.. today?! That's what I was doing!"
"So fancy school for costumed goody-two-shoes is far more important than your dear sister?!" Zenko yelled again, pinching his ear even harder.
"N- no! It isn't like that!" Bad pleaded, and this, continued for even longer as they walked home.
Bad didn't mind getting his dignity crushed, being submitted to a little child such as Zenko herself. After all, Zenko is his little queen, and he'd do anything for her.
After celebrating in the cafe..
Toshinori exited the cafe along with Yui, Genos, and the Yaoyoruzu family. "Thank you so much, Yaoyoruzu-san! I didn't ask for all of these, yet you still compensated me."
Yurusoba nodded, "It's no problem, Yagi-san. What you did for our daughter is a lot compared to what we did for you today. We wish we could've done something more, and we will try to do so in the future. We will try to get in contact with you."
Toshinori stared at them incredulously, "W- wait, don't tell me you still feel indebted..."
Yurusoba nodded, smiling, "We are forever indebted to you, whether you like it or not. You can always rely on us if you ever get into trouble, never forget that."
Toshinori thought this was all ridiculous, but bowed his head slightly, "Thank you so much for your hospitality, Yaoyoruzu-san...I hope you have a safe trip to your home."
Yurusoba smiled as a response, before looking at her daughter, "I believe you want to say your farewell to Yagi-san?"
Izumi smiled widely, before rushing into the direction of Toshinori, who crouched in response. Both of them hugged each other, "Hey, be safe out there, okay?" Toshinori gently spoke.
Izumi nodded, "I will! Thanks for everything, Toshinori-kun!"
Toshinori felt like an honest-to-god early father right now. He then spoke, "Don't forget about what I said. If you feel discomfort, try to call me. I won't treat it like a disturbance, got that, kid?"
The girl looked at him, frowning, "Are you sure?"
"I'm sure. I'll try to answer, whenever I can, promise." Toshinori lifted a pinky. Ah yes, the classic pinky promise.
Izumi smiled, before connected her pinky with his own. Toshinori then stood up, before saying, "Now, run along. Take care, Izu-chan!"
Izumi ran along, going to her parents side. The Yaoyoruzu Family waved their hands, before getting in their car, driving away from the supposed location.
And then, what followed was silence. Yui, Genos, and Toshinori was standing there awkwardly, looking at each other.
Yui smirked, and broke the silence, "Did I just see Toshinori-san being a sick ass dad?!"
Genos laughed out loud, "I can see him winning the 'Father of the Year' award!" They began laughing simultaneously, much to Toshinori's embarrassment, "Come on, you guys, stop it, it's embarrassing..." he muttered.
They walked back to Toshinori's apartment, planning what to do next.
But then, Toshinori's phone buzzed. He checked it, only to see someone chatting him.
Unknown Number: Hey, if you're wondering, this is me, King, the kid you met earlier back in U.A.
Ah. Him. Good that he remembered his contact. He replied.
Me: Oh, you, Tsuyoi-san! Well, what's up?
Unknown Number: Doing horrible. People is still scared of me.
Me: Ah, well, whatever happened, you can tell me.
Unknown Number: Shit, so it was like this...
THAT'S IT FOR TODAY'S CHAPTER! Stay tuned for the next! (I hope you don't mind this filler chapter. See you in the next!)
