The Yaoyoruzu's Household...
"Toshinori-kun?" No answer came from the phone. The girl panicked. Her heart beats faster than it ever did before. "Toshinori-kun..!!" She cried again, tears leaking out of her eyes, "Help me, Toshinori-kun...The bad creature is out to kill me..."
She wept for her life. It was sensible for her to do so. She was just a little girl. Not to mention that she just saw her literal babysitter getting eaten in FRONT OF HER.
She was traumatised, scared. She went through two hells at the same year, something that little children shouldn't even be experiencing.
Suddenly, the bulky creature sniffed, and smirked, "So you were hiding there, little girl." It then snarled.
Izumi widened her mouth in fear, tears starting to drown her even more. She screamed to the phone, "TOSHINORI-KUN!!!!"
The bulky creature slowly walked towards her. Izumi cried even more, "PLEASE! HELP! HELP! TOSHINORI-KUN!" But as usual, no answer from the phone.
How could he not answer? He promised! He promised to be there for her!
The bulky creature snared as it aggressively pulled the wardrobes door away from it's place, throwing it against the wall, "You smell tasty, little girl~~..."
"NO!" She cried out, then looked at her phone again, screaming, "TOSHINORI-KUN!!"
"Don't bother, nobody's going to save you, little girl. Besides... you'll like it here when you get into my digestion system." It smiled, before reaching her with it's hand.
Slowly, and slowly, as it opened it's mouth to eat her. Izumi closed her eyes, feeling hopeless, crying silently as she was about to be devoured.
She then remembered her parents. Mommy. Daddy. Her tears began sliding out of her chin, absolute fear taking her over as death before her is imminent. She'll face the same fate as her babysitter did...
Suddenly, the wind breezed against her. She opened her eyes, expecting a missing limb, blood, anything gory.
But there was nothing.
One Punch Man - Seigi Shikkou, Plays
She looked up, only to see Toshinori standing in front of her, standing firmly as each of his fists clenched. Before him, was the creature, injured, bloody battered.
Her expression brightened as Toshinori slowly tilted his head, showing a left side of his face, a smile shown on his face, "Don't worry, Izu-chan. You're safe now..sorry for not arriving earlier." Toshinori declared, as he prepared to deal the final blow to the creature.
"You...YOU MEASLY HUMAN! How could you hurt me!!!! HOW?!" It screamed in panic.
Toshinori stared at him with a dark expression, before appearing in front of him in an instant. He then prepared to deal the final blow, "Consecutive Normal Punches." He said while simultaneously throwing barrages of normal punches.
As the attacks made contact, the creature exploded, blood staining the very room itself. But he didn't heed it important. The girl's safety was the top of his priority.
He then turned his head to see the whimpering girl, who had tears staining her face. She ran to Toshinori very quickly while weeping.
She threw herself at him, hugging him, while burying her face on him, weeping as she did.
Toshinori's heart was shattered. He couldn't stand seeing the little girl cry, shedding a tear of his own. He then looked to the deformed corpse of the babysitter. This only made his guilt worse.
"Hey, Izu-chan..." Toshinori greeted very quietly. The little girl responded by aggressively hitting his legs, "Why didn't you respond?! Why?! I was about to be eaten by the bad monsters! About to be hurt! I thought you were ignoring me!" She looked up to him with pleading eyes, "WHY?!"
Toshinori paused for a second. It was true. The moment Izumi spoke, he panicked. He immediately rushed to the scene without even speaking further. Heck, he didn't even say goodbye to King, now he's going to wonder where he wandered to.
Toshinori crouched, putting his hand on the girls shoulder, "I'm sorry, Izu-chan.. I wasn't ignoring you, I was panicking when you called me like that. I didn't get the chance to speak, I just moved my body without thinking..but that was no excuse on my part. I'm sorry if my mistake has caused you to go through all these horrible things, but I assure you..." He then hugged her very tightly, "You're safe now."
She returned the hug, before crying again loudly. He sighed. The girl went through so much, and he had let it happen twice.
He then lifted her up from the ground, "Let's get you somewhere safe, okay? These creatures are rampant on the city right now..."
"Okay, Toshi-kun..." The girl said in a weak voice, still clinging to his shoulder.
"Say, want some ice cream?" Toshinori said as he carried the girl to the outside of the house. The gigantic yard of the house was a mess. The turrets that kept the house's security intact were destroyed, courtesy of the subterranean that invaded this house.
The girl replied, "Yes..."
Toshinori could feel the shaking in her body. She was still scared. How could she not? She just witnessed a person getting eaten to death in front of her, on the top of facing an almost imminent death.
As he got to the outside of the yard, he looked to the left and the right side to figure out where to go.
"But.." The girl spoke again, "The monsters are still out there... isn't it...dangerous out there..?"
Toshinori was about to speak, but the girl interrupted him, "I'm...scared.."
Toshinori immediately replied, "Don't be. Those monsters will learn to not touch you, the hard way."
"But you're going to die! I don't want you to die too!" The girl replied.
Toshinori, in response, threw his fist boredly to his right side, causing the wind to shift to the side and destroy everything on it's path, unbeknownst to Toshinori, including the subterraneans that were coming at them.
"See? That wasn't even my full strength. That's the punch I used against the creature back there. You have to trust me, you're going to be safe. They want to kill you? They'll have to go through me first, and guess what happens if they try to? I punch them, easy." Toshinori reassured her.
Izumi was reassured, for the most part. She was still a bit scared. All she could do now is hold onto Toshinori tightly, leaning on his neck with her chin. "Toshi-kun.." She weakly said.
Toshinori smiled, ruffling her hair as he walked to the left while carrying the poor girl. "Shhh, you're gonna be fine.." Toshinori calmly reassured as he walked.
The girl felt safe as she relaxed a bit, her muscles no longer contracting and less intense.
Hmm..I wonder where I'll hide her though. I can't just leave her out in the open, or IN the house. Either I find somewhere else to hide, or she has to be by my side until this nonsense is over. Or maybe I could interfere? Nah, the pro-heroes can handle it. Only when things get bad though... I'll probably interfere...shit, this is such a hard choice.
He then kept thinking as he walked, Maybe King's house? Oh yeah, but...I gotta call her parents first, almost forgot about that.
He then brought out his phone from his pocket, before calling the parents of the girl. The phone buzzed, before the opposite party answered,
"Hello?" A stern woman voice said, "Who is this? We are busy at the moment."
"Yagi Toshinori, ma'am, we met yesterday. I apologize for the sudden disturbance, but I have something important to tell you." Toshinori answered.
"Ah...ah! It's you, Yagi-san! We are very sorry, but if you don't mind, we will talk later. We on the moment are occupied with a very important meeting." The voice explained.
"The city is in danger, ma'am. Haven't you heard? Monsters are everywhere and the pro-heroes are dealing with them." Toshinori explained.
The voice gasped in panic, "That..that is an information that I didn't get the chance to know about..my daughter, I HAVE TO-"
"She's safe and sound with me, ma'am. That's why I called you, to ask you for permission, I need to bring her somewhere safe, a friend's house maybe, and I'll stay there with her." Toshinori explained once again.
Yurusoba on the other side sighed in relief, "I am forever in your debt, Yagi-san. You've saved our daughter's life twice."
Toshinori sighed internally. Not this again.
"Very well, but do your best to keep her safe, understand that, Yagi Toshinori?" Yurusoba said in a stern tone.
Toshinori replied, "With all my strength, ma'am, I will protect her."
"Thank you so much, Yagi-san.. We'll discuss this later. You have another compensation coming later on." Yurusoba said.
Toshinori gasped, "Wait! That's not--" He was interrupted when the phone hung up.
Toshinori sighed in exasperation, "Really? Again? A million yen is enough and they really want to..." He stopped himself when the girl he carried tensed.
He softened his expression, patting her back, "Hey, don't get so tensed up. Relax, I'm here, remember? No monsters are going to touch you."
The girl, however, replied with a different topic, "Is that...mommy?"
Toshinori blinked, before replying, "Yeah, yeah that's your mom."
"Mommy..mommy is safe, right?" The girl asked again, tears forming in her eyes. Toshinori panicked, "Hey, hey, c'mon, don't cry!" He patted her back, "Your mommy is fine, I mean, we just called! She didn't even know about the ruckus that has been going on in this city all along. It's going to be fine!" He replied in a slight frantic tone.
"Okay..." Izumi simply replied, wiping her tears with both of her hands. Toshinori sighed in relief. He couldn't handle seeing the girl cry. Not on his watch.
He then spotted an ice cream cart near the street. Bingo!
Toshinori quickly approached the cart, with the seller whimpering in fear. Toshinori waved one of his hands, "Hey! Me, ol' customer here, can I have some of your ice-"
"WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!" The man screamed, interrupting Toshinori.
"You didn't let me finish." Toshinori spoke again, still holding the little girl in his hands.
The man noticed him, before saying, "Hey, you! Get outta here! Or else you're putting yourself and that cute little sister of yours in danger!"
"Huh? Oi, I just wanted some ice cream. Gimme some." Toshinori demanded again.
"But-"
However, he was interrupted when a gigantic footstep was heard a few centimetres away from them.
A subterranean was standing behind Toshinori, licking it's lips uncontrollably, "Ohohoho~~...A youth, handsome boy and a little girl...what a nice meal!"
Izumi cried and buried her face into Toshinori's shoulder. Toshinori looked back, holding the girl tighter than before, staring at the 'menacing' creature with an empty look.
The subterranean, noticing the protective behaviour in Toshinori, chuckled, "So you want to act like a brave brother, huh? Even tnough you're just a scrawny little kid? I see, perhaps humans aren't as scaredy as they might seem be. But we, THE SUBTERRANEANS, are much more powerful! We came to-" The subterranean was interrupted when a fist came in contact with it's abdomen, before it was sent flying into the air, splattering across a building.
"Get lost." Toshinori angrily remarked. He then looked at the girl in his embrace, "Are you alright?"
Izumi only giggled in amidst of her tears, "You're so cool, Toshi-kun! You're soooo cooooll!!"
Toshinori only replied with an "Oh.." due to the embarrassment. He decided to leave that behind and approached the ice cream seller again, "So, about the ice cream, how much does it-"
"TAKE IT! TAKE THE ICE CREAMS! YOU SAVED ME, THE LEAST I COULD DO IS REPAY YOU WITH A FREE ICE CREAM!" The man said before quickly bowing down before Yagi.
Toshinori sighed in exasperation, "Dude, no, knock it off. I want to pay, so I'll pay."
The man looked up, "But-"
"But nothing. Just say thank you, that's it, I don't need you praising me like I'm some kind of god descending from the heavens above. It's absolutely ridiculous." Toshinori finished, before bringing his wallet out, "I need two cups of chocolate flavoured ice creams."
The man nodded quickly, before putting two of the ice creams from the cart in a plastic bag, before giving it to Yagi.
Yagi counted the money in his wallet, "How much?"
"Are you sure you don't-" The seller was interrupted when Toshinori immediately sets his gaze off his wallet, and stared at him, "Do I really have to repeat myself?"
"N- no! It's...err...500 yen!" The seller replied frantically. Toshinori paid, before taking the plastic with him, "Thanks." He then spoke one more time, "You know, it's dangerous out here. Wanna come with me? I'm heading to a friend's place."
"U- um..." The seller shyly said. The kid was strong, strong enough to blow that creature away. Of course he wants to come with him! "Ye- yeah! Sure! With pleasure!"
Toshinori eyed him, then replied, "Alright, let's go then."
The man quickly went to his side. Toshinori sighed, "Are you forgetting your cart?"
The seller quickly slapped his forehead, "My apologies, I'll get it in a moment." Izumi only giggled, "The old man is funny.."
Toshinori looked at her for a moment, before replying, "Yeah, he sure is."
With Bad...
Hitoshi Bad felt adrenaline pumping him, his strength was greater than before. He didn't know what caused it. He really don't.
All he knows, is that he just slammed his way through hordes of subterraneans, sweat drenching him. He breathed heavily, as he was slammed into the nearest building by a giant hand, "Gotcha, fresh meat!" The creature remarked with a snarl.
Hitoshi Bad coughed, before slowly pushing the hand away. "W- what?!" The subterranean asked in panic. Bad then completely pushed it's hand away, before jumping into the air, "Rot in hell." He said, before hitting it straight into the head with his metal bat, splattering it's brain all over the place as the creature slumped into the ground.
He landed on the ground, holding the metal bat tightly with both of his arms.
I'm not gonna be a coward... He took another step, as multiple subterraneans were coming his way from afar. He gritted his teeth, I'll face them head on. I'll face danger like he did.
Suddenly, an image of Toshinori facing the Zero-Pointer head-on flashed through his mind. His expression turned into a smile.
That's what I learned from him. That...is what a true hero would do.
He smirked, running towards the subterraneans, ready to bust their skulls in. He jumped, preparing to strike them with the will of a hero.
But suddenly..
He swung his bat, but the attack only hit the air. The subterraneans were gone. Seemingly. He landed on the ground, confused. What the hell just...
He looked back, only to see the subterraneans, but not their usual self. They were sliced apart, their bodies slumping into the ground, as each of their limbs were severed from it's place.
As they hit the ground, a figure emerged, and landed on the ground, his ice-blonde hair shines like a light.
The figure turned his head slowly, "I commend you for your bravery, brat, but this is no place for children lile you. Go home, before you get into trouble."
Bad widened his eyes, "...Flashy Flash?! The...the number two ranked hero?!"
"Go home." Flashy Flash ordered, "That is an order. You don't have a license yet." Then, he disappeared in an instant. Hitoshi Bad stared at the empty sky for a moment, before remembering one crucial thing...
LIL SIS!!!
Hitoshi sighed. Flashy Flash was right. He has no license yet, he can't be going around fighting villains. But at least he saved the guy that were about to be eaten by the insufferable creatures.
He walked away, feeling a bit of his adrenaline fading. What was that anyway? Some kind of hidden ability he had that he never discovered before?
He looked at his metal bat, what the hell got into me?
As if it was an unclear answer, his body felt like it was burning. Pain was everywhere. Ah... that's right...so, if I'm on the verge of being mortally wounded...my physical attributes rises and builds a high pain tolerance due to the adrenaline distributed..
He noted that inside his mind. He can't help but struggle to walk though. He was wounded, heavily wounded, and he needs rest. Looks like that movie has to wait...
Meanwhile, Mustafa Private Middle School...
Nana tried to block the attacks that were thrown at her by The Subterranean King, creating huge shockwaves throughout the school.
Nana wasn't as fast as before due to the headache she's having. And what's worse is...The Subterranean King were getting stronger, for some reason.
"You're getting weaker. GOOD!" He smirked, before finishing his barrage of attacks with a kick, which was blocked by Nana's arm.
However, Nana was sent away into the side, sliding through the dirt below her. As debris of broken rocks was flying in the air, Nana noticed that The Subterranean King was heading for one of his blades.
He grabbed onto it, before going after her at an abnormal speed. He gave a vicious smile as he appeared in front of her, raising his sword into the air.
Nana braced for the blade, as he slammed it into the ground. Nana dodged it barely, before landing on the handle, jumping into the air, before spinning around to use the momentum to kick him to stun him momentarily.
The creature grunted, before trying to raise his blade to intercept Nana, but she was fast enough to float around his back, launching an uppercut to his neck, as he was staggered back a bit by the attack.
Nana widened her eyes in shock when she landed on the ground, Dammit! None of my attacks are affecting him! Am I really getting weaker or...
Nana came into a sudden realisation, Or is he getting stronger?!
"You're good." The Subterranean King commended. He tilted his head for a bit, before completely turning his body into the direction of where Nana is standing.
"But you underestimated the might of the Subterraneans." He raised his fist, "We, as the creatures of the underground, has the power to gradually absorb the energy from the earth's core. For hundreds of thousands of years, we used the power of the earth's core to keep our powers maintained, so much, that our bodies evolved to the point that we have the ability to absorb the energy, even at the surface."
Nana stared at him, clenching her fists even tighter. The King laughed, "If you weren't fooling around earlier, maybe you could have the chance to defeat me, but you heroes are so guilible. You live by a code, but we don't, we crush those who are in our way, no matter who they are. Do you realise the mistake that you've made, human?!"
Nana didn't answer. She was having a conflict inside her, Dammit...I should've finished the job earlier! Dammit, you're such an idiot, NANA!
The Subterranean King chuckled, "With enough energy, I can focus it all onto my...MISSING LIMB!" He said as his body glowed, as his missing limb were restored.
He flexed his newly formed arm, "Good as new."
Nana was frustrated. She could've beaten him, but she didn't! But despite all that, she closed her eyes, smiling, "Nice try, Subterranean King..." She replied, "No matter what you do, I won't falter. I'll stop you." She raised her fist, her expression brightening up.
"FOOL!" He shouted as his body glowed, using one of the blades to slam the ground fiercely. Nana dodged it, before running towards the creature in great speed.
The creature tried to slice his blade sideways, into the right direction, but Nana swiftly dodged it as she floated in the air.
The creature roared as he tried to impale the heroine multiple times, pushing his sword forward, but was dodged by Nana multiple times.
She let out a war cry as she dodged the last attack with great speed, appearing besides him in an instant.
She formed two fingers on her hands, "FREEZING MOVE: NERVE ATTACK!" She said as she touched his skin with both of her fingers instantaneously, before disappearing into multiple sides of his body, touching his nerve points with both of her fingers.
She spun in the air as she finished her technique, landing on the ground with one of her hands touching the ground, her legs crouched. She felt herself a bit exhausted, as she has to rely on one of the quirks within One for All once again, the quirk of super-speed, which takes a huge toll on her stamina.
She stood up, looking back at the creature, who suddenly turned his back in rage, "WHAT DID YOU- ACKKHH..!!!"
He suddenly can't move his body. Frozen, he snarled, "WHAT DID YOU DO?!?!??"
Nana only smiled, "Just using my trump card as a last resort to beat you."
She then launched herself into the air, into the direction of the Subterranean King, raising her fist, "Looks like you're done, Subterranean King. Your misdeeds ends here!"
With Gran Torino..
The yellow-caped, black-eye masked hero stood as he was about to leave a battered Tatsumaki in the care of the hospital.
"Stay here while I evacuate your school, got it, kid? I got a taiyaki to finish back home so don't you dare slow the progress of things." Sorahiko sternly said.
Tatsumaki was too weak to say anything. She can't use her quirk, or move her body slightly in that manner. She was in the wheeled stretcher, under the care of the nurses.
"I'll take that as a yes. Well then, I'll be back once all of these are done. You get into trouble, do reckless shit, or what you youthful people do these days, and I'll kick your ass." Sorahiko said as his jet quirk manifested, propelling him into the sky above.
Tatsumaki weakly grunted as the nurse rushed her into the emergency room. Damn..that creature got me good...sorry, Fubuki, I guess I wasn't strong enough..
Back with Nana...
It was that or nothing. Nana was about to win. But it didn't happen. Instead, things went sideways.
The creature immediately recovered slightly, before using his blade to slash Nana apart.
Nana was barely hit, but the blade was huge, humongously huge. The impact caused her to cough blood, lots of it, as she fell into the ground, sliding violently, blood pouring out of her chest.
Nana felt the pool of her own blood as she struggled to stand up, blood coming out of her mouth.
The creature smirked, "THAT was your trump card?! UNBELIEVABLY PATHETIC!" He screamed.
Miriko was enjoying the whole scene. The pro-hero was at the mercy of the Subterranean King. He loved seeing her in pain, finding satisfaction in her impending doom. He crossed his arms, leaning into the nearest wall, watching with great interest.
Nana coughed, "S- shit..." She clutched to her chest, feeling hopeless. She saw the Subterranean King towering above her. "You fought well, and for that, you earny respect. Not many have pushed me to my limits. I always know you humans as one of the weakest species that we have ever encountered, but alas, you proved me wrong." He spoke, but Nana wasn't delighted in the slightest by the compliment.
"But looks like you're going to die today. I had fun, with that little brat, and now you. As you see, I have a lot to do. Taking over the society of you hairless apes is one of them." The Subterranean King finished, before raising his blade into the air, "This, ends now."
Nana closed her eyes in concede. Is this how the legacy of One for All ends? Wait...if she dies, then One for All dies with her, and if it dies...
The image of All For One holding the headless body of her husband flashed through her mind, along with the whole of Japan under his feet, burning. She widened her eyes in panic, No...To her horror, the blade was seconds away from hitting her. But suddenly...
"WIND BLADE KICK!!!!"
A figure emerged out of the sky, flipping around, before using the momentum to kick the creature in the face, propelling him away from Shimura Nana. Flashy Flash, the number two ranked hero.
As the creature was flying away at high speed, a muscular figure dropped out from the sky, landing with great momentum that the ground was cracked.
"I really hate to hurt a living creature, mysterious beings or not, but I guess I have to..." He then clenched his fist, "SUPERALLOY BAZOOKA!!!!" He launched his fist, using his full power to blow the Subterannean King away. That was Superalloy Darkshine, the number three ranked hero.
The impact was so great, that he was sent away into the sky. The Subterranean King was about to be launched further away, but suddenly, a wind caught him from flying even further.
The air around him suddenly intensified. Suddenly, a red-haired man who wore some kind of sleeveless black shirt and a black leather pants, with red boots on his foot, descended from the sky. The number one ranked hero, GANRYU, used his quirk to manipulate the air around him.
The Subterranean King was spinning around in the air uncontrollably.
"WHIRLING THUNDER!" He screamed as he manipulated the air on the clouds, causing multiple thunderous lightning bolts to strike the Subterranean King simultaneously, as he screamed in pain, before the lightning bolts stopped.
"BEGONE!" Ganryu shouted as he used his quirk to carry the Subterranean King in the air, before using his quirk to crush him under the pressure of the wind, before his body glowed.
The Subterranean King screamed in pain as his body was slowly crumbling. It happened so fast, as his body exploded into pieces, his body parts falling away.
But unbeknownst to them, the Subterranean King's blood made it's way back to the deepest depths of the underworld, into the earth's core...
King's Household...
"Sooo...you disappeared to.." King then pointed at the girl that was holding Toshinori's hand, "To save her from a giant creature?"
"Yeah, sorry for disappearing like that, I had to hurry." Toshinori apologised, giving him an apologetic look.
"Nah, it's fine. I was sick of getting my ass kicked by you in chess anyway." King snickered, earning a glare from Toshinori. King chuckled, before asking, "Anyways, who's the old geezer?" He referred to the ice-cream seller Toshinori met earlier.
"Oh, him? He was just some ice cream seller I met in the streets. And with the monsters rampant, I didn't think leaving him alone there was a wise move, so I decided to get him to follow me along." Toshinori explained.
"Huh..yeah, we need to stay here for the time being. Now with the monsters running around, I think we should just leave this to the pro-heroes..." King then stopped, scratching his head nervously, "Wait, any chance they.." He asked himself, but suddenly came into a realisation, "My school! Hitoshi Bad! Shit!"
Toshinori raised his brow, before replying, "Your school..oh yeah, the monsters must be there too.."
"I gotta call him..wait a minute." King said, before reaching his phone. He entered the pompadour-head's number, before the phone rang.
He answered, "Hey! Who- Oh, it's you, Oji..."
"Bad, are you okay?!" King asked nervously. Bad laughed under the phone call, "You worry about me, now that feels pretty satisfying..so you do care-"
"Oi, stop messing around and answer me!" King shouted to his phone. Bad laughed out loud, before replying, "I'm fine, I'm fine! I'm back at home. I tried to explain to my sister that I couldn't watch the movie as of now, and she understood thankfully."
"Wait, why aren't you...ooooh, so you're getting sick of her nonsensical request, right?" King snickered, "Now that's a good-"
"No, it's not that, I'm just...look, I'll explain later, it has to do with my quirk, but right now, I don't think I have the strength to explain. I ran into one of the monsters earlier and now I'm heavily injured." Bad explained.
"You're INJURED?!" King shouted in panic, "Damn it, you should've been more careful! STUPID!"
"OI! WHY ARE YOU SCREAMING AT ME INSTEAD OF BEING CONCERNED?!" Bad shouted back.
"I AM CONCERNED, IDIOT! IF I WASN'T, I WOULDN'T HAVE SCREAMED AT YOUR FACE!" King shouted back.
As the two began to argue, Toshinori slapped his forehead in the background, while the ice-cream seller swear-dropped. Izumi was just confused.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever, you intimidating bull! Anyway, are you okay? Ran into one of the monsters or something?" Bad asked while coughing.
"No, no, I was just playing with..Yagi." King replied. Bad chuckled, "Oh, him, figures. Tell him I said hi. His action yesterday really inspired me earlier, you know?"
Toshinori flinched at this. He was inspired?
"Oh, I'll tell him alright. Anyway, rest well, okay? If you die on me, I'll chase you to the depths of Hades to kill you again." King fake-threatened.
"Sure. You take care of yourself too, or I'll kill you." Bad replied.
"So if we both die, then we'll be killing each other in the afterlife, right? That sounds like a cool idea." King remarked. Bad laughed, "Shut up, will you? And I'm pretty sure I'll win if we do."
King doubted that, "Nah, but okay, whatever you say."
"You know what, I'm gonna show you what my quirk dows the next time we meet." Bad offered, earning a smirk from King, "Looking forward to that."
"Anyway, see ya later, King the intimidation god." Bad mockedly bid his farewell.
King flinched at his nickname, before replying as well, "See you later then, Bad-san."
He then hung up.
King sighed in relief, before approaching Toshinori, "Thank god he's okay.."
Toshinori snickered, "Listening to you, I was almost convinced that you two are enemies instead of friends." King laughed, "Nah, nah, we do that everyday, I got used to it."
"You sure do..Anyway, wanna continue?" Toshinori asked with a mischievous smile.
"Hmmm..sure, but, I'm kinda oddly worried about someone else too." King admitted.
Toshinori raised his brow, "And who might that be?"
"I know I'm not close to her, and we're basically only acquaintances, but..kinda worried a bit about Tatsumaki. You know? The girl you saved yesterday." King admitted again.
Toshinori was about to response, but his mind suddenly drifted to something else. Wait...is this why she took so long to return?! The monsters?! SHIT! HOW COULD I FORGOT ABOUT THAT?! IS SHE DEAD?! SHIT!!!!
And Genos...shit, Genos! Toshinori berated himself for forgetting his best friend. It was a foul mistake on his part. Is he fine?! Shit, I gotta call him later..
King then turned on the television, as it began streaming news, "Recently, the pro-hero, Shimura Nana, also known as Floatie, was heavily injured by one of the invading monsters. Other pro-heroes are trying to keep the civilian casualties low, but looks like they're not doing too well. The monsters were proven to be many in numbers."
That's it. Toshinori clenched his fist, feeling rage and hatred towards these creatures, these 'mysterious beings'. I'm interfering. And no one's stopping me.
"King..." Toshinori suddenly replied, "I think I might have to skip our round of game."
King raised his brow, "Wait, why? What are you doing?"
Toshinori gave him a determined look, "What I should've done earlier. I'm interfering."
I'm sorry, Shimura-san, but looks like I'm going to have to interfere.
THAT'S ALL FOR TODAY'S CHAPTER! (Also, I cleared something up in chapter 15 of this story. Lightning Max and Stinger are no longer number 4 and 5 hero as that wanks them a lot. I now placed them at the number 7 and 8 spot.)
Anyways, TO BE CONTINUED! STAY TUNED FOR WHAT'S NEXT!
