I don't own One Punch Man, nor do I own My Hero Academia. Each Franchise is owned by their respective owners.

Spellbat: Yeah, we'll see

Annonnymous: Yup, I was going to recreate the situation where the main character doesn't get recognised for his accomplishments, much like in the One Punch Man anime itself. And also, thanks! I feel better right now, actually!

Guest: Broly's Dimension Hopping Incident will be continued, it's just on hiatus right now.

Mustafa Private Middle School...

Gran Torino strolled through the endless corpses of the subterraneans, and thought, Huh, so they all took care of these monsters, as expected from the top ranking heroes..

But one problem still remains: Where the hell did that problem child go?! Actually, why did he decided to come here and put himself in danger in the first place?!

He looked over a news reporter, who was speaking directly to the cameramen, explaining what had just transpired. Apparently, a weird kid appeared out of nowhere, as she said, and stood in front of the pro-heroes. Next thing they know, the camera's malfunctioned and exploded for reasons unknown, so they had to snatch a new camera, and when they came back, the subterraneans were already defeated.

Gran Torino stood there for a second, processing the information. Slowly, and slowly, he put the pieces together..

No, the pro-heroes were already defeated and beaten when that damned kid arrived. And this is not just any ordinary kid, this is coming from a quirkless vigilante that is known throughout the city as the 'vigilante whom disappears'...Plus, the idiot was caught by the cameras, and I know, I know that he has the capability to amp his speed up to ridiculous amounts, it could be that he disabled the camera's fast enough so they didn't have the time to react, or notice at all..

Gran Torino's eyes widened, could it be...?

No, no, that fucking, stupid kid. Don't tell me he went ahead and fought all of these creatures alone with no help?! That moron! He could've died! And I'm sure he's gravely injured right now!

Gran Torino clenched his fist hard anouth to hurt his skin. He mentally berated himself for failing to arrive just quick enough to get the kid away from the crossfire. He failed, and the kid must've succumbed to his wounds right now, all because he didn't arrive earlier.

Yagi Toshinori, you reckless brat...

He has to call Nana now, to inform her of this new information that may or may not be true. It was just a speculation after all.

I hope in the name of all gods of all religions that this speculation isn't true.

Almost a hundred years ago, after the first quirk appeared in Qing Qing city, Shigaraki Yoichi, the seemingly quirkless, brother of All For One, who had ruled the country with his powerful and formidable quirk, the quirk that allows him to steal or bestow any quirks he wishes, was startled when the door to his house..no...mansion..opened forcefully.

All For One, the horrible villain that plagued the country for too long, entered the mansion with a frustrated look on his face."Brothe-?"

Yoichi was shocked when All For One barged to the living room, slamming both of his hands down into the table near him, completely obliterating it."Brother..." Yoichi calmly called.

All For One growled, "One challenge. Just one more challenge..WHAT IS SO HARD ABOUT THAT?! All these vigilantes, all these self-righteous weaklings, claiming themselves to be some sort of mediator between mankind and justice, they can't even last a second against me! What is this? I need more! This overwhelming desire.." All For One stared at Yoichi with a dead look, "I NEED MORE!!"

Yoichi stood there for a second, before sighing, "Brother, oh, brother..." He said with utter disappointment in his tone, "When will you stop this madness? How long will you keep on doing this?"

"As long as it takes!" The white-haired man yelled back, "You have no idea, brother...all these years, all these power I've obtained, in the end, I felt nothing, I felt emptiness. I didn't know why, but when one man, ONE MAN stood in my way, I realised what caused my heart to feel this empty..." He raised his hand, clenching it into a determined fist, "All I needed was challenge! CHALLENGE! But none of these so-called 'heroes' can live up to my expectation! They're sooo, soooo unbelievably weak!!" All For One yelled, venting all of his frustrations out.

"And you killed that man who gave you the answers to your emptiness. You killed a man who wanted nothing more but justice in this society. You killed BLAST, the man who stood out above every last of those vigilante's, who stood as a shining beacon of hope." Yoichi retorted, holding back some of the disgust in his voice.

Yoichi then continued, "And now you're killing those who you expect to stand up to you when they can't. Brother, you must stop these relentless killings. You turned from a manipulative dictator into someone who's desire is so great, that you willingly killed those heroes that wanted nothing more but justice. You must stop, at once."

All For One didn't respond for a while, before approaching Yoichi with a smirk, placing a hand on his shoulder, "You know, an idea popped in my head." He suggested, completely ignoring his brother's speech.

Yoichi was stunned by his apathetic behaviour towards the things he said, "Brother, w-"

All For One interrupted him with a snarky smile, "You've been so weak, Yoichi, it's so unbelievably laughable. But I've had an idea for you to stand above those weaklings, a pinnacle of strength that I've been striving to clash against."

Yoichi looked at him, before succumbing into the horror of the realisation, "Brother-?!"

"Would you like a meta-power, oh, weak brother?!" All For One said in a loud manner, smirking snarkly as he put his one of his palm above his brother's forehead.

Nana opened her eyes in surprise as she caught another glimpse of a memory like she did earlier.

She realised that it had something to do with One for All, as she has been experiencing this ever since En passed on the quirk to her right before he died.

She heard a lot about All For One and the horrors he caused through her predecessor stories, but she didn't think she would see it explained by the memories triggered by the quirk itself.

She was startled even more when she remembered what All For One said to her the last time they met...

"If you don't find a successor as soon as possible..." All For One gave her a dark look whilst standing over the headless body of her husband, "Your son will face the same fate. Don't keep me waiting." He kicked the corpse away, into the direction of Nana.

Nana caught it on time, before lowering the corpse into the dirt. She looked over to All For One with hateful eyes, tears soaking her cheeks, her fists clenched as she stared into the motionless body of her husband. Her beloved husband.

Nana held herself from having a mental breakdown from the memories that suddenly flashed in her mind. It's been months since she gave Kotarou, her only son, away to the foster family. The guilt that kept building inside her was too much. If anything, her son could be loathing her now for deciding to abandon him out of the blue.

She only hoped that he could understand once he sees the letter she sent yesterday night. Hopefully.

However, her train of thoughts was interrupted when her phone buzzed, which was placed in a table besides her bed. She picked it, seeing who it was, smiled a bit on knowing that Yagi was handled with...

But oh boy, she couldn't be more wrong. As she answered, "Heyya! How's it going?! How's the kiddo? I really need to give him a reprimanding after-"

"He's not here." Gran Torino said in a sad tone. Nana was frozen in terror as she heard the bad news. She covered her mouth with her other palm, before speaking, "No..." She felt that a tear is about to escape her eyelid.

But it was prevented when Gran Torino said, "The moron took on all these monsters by himself, and the result?" He paused, sighing, before continuing, "He totally obliterated them all. At least to my observation. From looking at him and the status of his vigilantism, the kid doesn't want recognition or fame. He dispersed the attention away from him, and somehow gave the credits to the top three ranked heroes, who, as you and I saw, were struggling and had no hope of victory."

Nana stared at the emptiness of the walls around her room in shock. He's..I know he's pretty strong for a quirkless person but...HOW?!

"Keep in mind that this is all just speculations based on what I saw, but it's highly likely." Sorahiko spoke again. Nana sighed, "That kid..." She muttered, "I told him over and over again, and he still isn't listening.."

Sorahiko sighed, "As much as I hate to put a kid in the crossfire, to be fair, if I have all that power at my disposal, license or not, I would've put myself in danger's way to save the people of this city. After all, that's what heroes do..."

Before Nana can counter that, Sorahiko interrupted her, "Now that doesn't mean I won't kick his ass the moment I see him. The kid's fucking reckless, no matter how powerful he is, he should preserve himself and have a little bit of self-worth."

Sorahiko then continued, "I'll be looking for him. You stay put, Nana, don't make me make you." He said sternly said.

Nana smiled at the protectiveness of her friend, "I always liked that side of you."

Nana knew Sorahiko was rolling his eyes, even behind the screen. "Find the kid, okay? Make sure to bring him to me so I can give him an ass kicking of his life." Nana said to her friend.

"No, that would be my job." Sorahiko countered, causing her to laugh, which Sorahiko did too.

"Well, good luck, Sorahiko. Please, find him with the utmost of your ability. He might be injured as of now, and I can't imagine if no one came to his aid while he succumbs to his wounds. The kid has a good heart, and is worthy of One for All, it'd be a waste if a good kid like him dies." Nana spoke again, her tone saddened as she finished that sentence.

"I will, Nana," Sorahiko spoke with determination, "I will. Take care now, will you?" He said, before hanging up. Nana was silent for a few seconds, before bringing herself to lie in the bed, staring at the ceiling.

Truth to be told, she always wanted someone to get her out of the hole she digged for herself. She digged the hole when she gave Kotarou away, filling her with immense guilt, but she had to do it. She even erased Kotarou from her family records, manipulated it, all so All For One will be unable to track him.

But did it give her peace? No. Far from it. She could only stay silent as the memories of her son haunts her.

Meanwhile..

Darkshine's mouth gaped, seeing the news bluntly stating that he and his other fellow heroes saved the day.

I didn't save anything! I was a coward! WHAT IS THIS?!

Unbeknonwst to Superalloy Darkshine, one of his fellow heroes are still awake.

"Huh? What are they blabbering about? And where the hell are we?" A new voice called out from behind him. Darkshine looked only to see a conscious Flashy Flash. It looked as if the guy was confused by the whole ordeal too.

"Oh.." Flashy Flash gave an approving nod to seemingly no one, "That kid..."

Darkshine asked him, "What are you talking about?"

"He saved the day," Flashy Flash said, before continuing, "And gave the credits to us, which is...undeserving, to be honest." Darkshine looked down, "I know. I ran away from the source of danger and left all of it in the kid's hands. I took a gamble, a dangerous one, and it worked-"

Flashy Flash interrupted him when he grabbed him lightly by his shoulder, "You took a what now?"

"I know it's such a cowardly thing to do, I-" Darkshine was interrupted when a fist made an impact across his cheeks, though impervious to his sudden attack, he looked away in shame.

Flashy Flash clenched his fists, "He was a kid with great potential, and you left him by all himself, without assisting him?! How could you?!" He glared at Darkshine, his fist clenched hard enough to create a loud crack on his knuckle.

Darkshine only stood in silence, muttering an apology, "I'm...sorry."

Flashy Flash looked behind, walking to grab his insta-kill blade from the ground, which was somehow brought by Darkshine while carrying them away from danger.

"Your apologies means nothing." Flashy Flash shot a glare as he unsheathed his blade, "I commend you for saving us, I owe you my life, but that doesn't explain the unhonourable thing you just did. Leaving a kid behind is not something that a hero would do."

Darkshine still looked away in shame, "I know..."

"And no amount of self-pity will fix that. Pull yourself together and learn from your mistake." Flashy Flash sternly said again.

I know that! Can he stop talking! I know that what I did was wrong! But- Darkshine was interrupted when a gust of wind swapped by him. "Hey there, sirs, err...heroes?" a reluctant voice called out.

As the smokes and the dusts cleared, standing there was the teenager who saved them, along with...Miriko?

Darkshine was shocked by what just transpired, "K- kid? And..." He looked over to Miriko and widened his eyes even more.

Flashy Flash was delighted to see the potential-filled kid again, but when he saw who accompanied him, his expression turned dark, "Brat." He spoke, approaching him, holding onto his unsheathed blade. He was bewildered on how Yagi resisted the quirk the villainy brat had, but that's a question for another day.

Yagi reacted quickly and pulled Miriko to his behind, wrapping his arms around Miriko protectively, "Whoa, whoa, I know that look, sir..." But Miriko was confused by his behaviour.

"Hm? What are you doing?" Flashy Flash asked again. "I'm not about to let some forelocks in the head to viciously hurt and possibly murder him." Yagi said whilst standing in front of Miriko.

Miriko stared at Toshinori with widened eyes. He...I almost killed the entirety of this city, and he's protecting me... what even is he doing..?

Forelocks in the...? Flashy Flash shook that thought off, before saying, "Kid, that brat is the reason why this city is beyond screwed. He played around with a power he didn't understand just to satisfy his bloodlust. Is that not enough reason to hurt him? Besides, I wasn't going to hurt him, but still."

Yagi sighed, "I came here to hand him over, yes, but know that I'm not going to let you hurt him senselessly." He finished, before gently handing the villain over to the ninja hero.

Flashy Flash gripped the kid's hands, pulling him over to his side. Though his grip wasn't his full strength, Miriko still winced in pain.

Flashy Flash then looked to Yagi, before saying, "Can I know about your address?"

So blunt!

"Ah? Why you ask?" Yagi asked suspiciously. Flashy Flash replied, "I want to have a bit of a talk with you. I don't know if you'll accept, but there's...something that piqued my interest about you."

Yagi stood for a second, before deciding to tell him which apartment he resides in. Flashy Flash nodded, thanking the kid for catching the main culprit behind all of these. Yagi only smiled. Flashy Flash then pulled the kid a bit aggressively, "Get over here, brat. You're gonna answer for your crimes." He then looked to Darkshine, "And you, restore your honor by bringing Ganryu the medical attention needed. Until then, I'll be taking the brat with me." Before walking away, as Miriko stayed silent throughout the walking.

"Are you not going to a hos-" Darkshine was interrupted by Flashy Flash, "My injuries are irrelevant. Someone has to bring this brat in to face the consequences of his actions." He then continued to walk away with the boy.

Yagi then called out to Miriko, "Hey!"

The kid stopped, and so did Flashy Flash. Miriko looked back, only to see a smiling Yagi, which pierced Miriko's heart. Why is he smiling at me?!

"I didn't catch your name. Mind telling me?" Yagi asked one more time. Miriko closed his eyes, before answering, "It's...Miriko..Hamuze Miriko.."

Yagi lifted a thumbs up, before saying, "Right. I'll be seeing you soon, Miriko-san!"

Miriko didn't answer, but instead, walked away. Flashy Flash, noticing that the conversation is over, also walked away.

Yagi's mind turned to something else, and remembered what the pro-hero said to Darkshine.

Wait...that hero, Flashy Flash, he said something about restoring honor?... Yagi then looked to the distraught muscular hero in front of him.

His expression softened at the sight of the hero's distress, before approaching him in a light way, "Hey..mister...Alloy..sir..." Yagi guessed his identity.

To be fair, Yagi was bad at keeping records of the identities of the pro-heroes. He only knew a few, but he didn't bother to study about them, or at least learn their names. Sure, his goal was to become a hero, but even so, he didn't peg himself to be the type to love heroes, or to express his non-existent fanboyism towards them. The only one's he knew even before meeting them were someone like: Silverfang, Tank-Top master, Atomic Samurai, Lightning Max, and Stinger. The rest, he's clueless about them, or at least knows a bit about them.

Darkshine didn't answer, still curling in a ball at the corner of the streets. "Hey..." His voice softened, as Yagi sat besides Darkshine, "Um.. what's wrong?"

"I'm...sorry.." Darkshine muttered sadly, breathing heavily. "W- what are you sorry about?" Yagi asked again, confusion ruling his emotions.

"I left you behind, didn't I..?" Darkshine uttered, "It's...not something that a real hero would do, right...? A..and for that, I'm sorry, for not being the hero..for you.." He apologized again, "I don't know, I just feel like I'm just drunk with power...remember that book made by the deceased hero, Blast?"

"The Impurities of Power? I've heard of that but I don't think I've read it." Yagi said again, wondering if that was the book. Darkshine nodded, "Blast once said that people show their true colours once they are faced with imminent danger. He said that a sign of a coward can be seen with those who use their powers for their own gain, not for others. Selfish people always run from the face of danger, and.. I'm..I think.."

"Hey," Yagi interrupted, "Even if that's true, don't let that get you down."

"What?" Darkshine looked up to him in confusion. "I mean, don't get me wrong, what you did was extremely wrong, you were lucky that it was me who you left behind, and I'm not saying it's okay," Yagi tried to make his point, "BUT! It's in a human's nature to be scared, to follow their instincts to save themselves. Not everyone has to be selfless, but you've shown me a few redeeming qualities. Even in the face of danger, before I arrived, you still tried to fight and protect the number one hero over there," Yagi pointed at the 'unconscious' hero lying besides Darkshine.

"Yeah, that I did, but stil-" Darkshine was interrupted when Yagi put his hands on the muscular figure's shoulder, "I know I'm younger than you, and I probably am inexperienced compared to you. Don't let the display of power fool you, because if I admit..." Yagi looked down, "I don't have any idea how I got this strong."

Darkshine winced a bit at this statement. This kid has no idea the reason why he's strong? Come on, it's easy! It's because of his quirk!

Then, he remembered what the kid said to him earlier when he asked him about how he got strong, and well, he didn't mention any quirk.

I just trained hard, that's all.

Is that it? He's quirkless? His train of thoughts were interrupted when Yagi continued after a split moment, "But a hero's job is to improve themselves after a taste of failure, right? Don't let failure weigh you down, but harness it, and let it serve you, use it as a momentum to leap yourself to the top. If you give up right after one day of failure, you're throwing away the rest of the accomplishment you could achieve by learning through your mistakes. After all, you've faced hardships after hardships to get you to where you are right now, you know? And I doubt you've ever given up in the past, so what's so different about the situation right now?"

Darkshine's mouth gaped at what the kid just said. His eyes were also widened, as tears began soaking his chin.

"Just think of yourself as this little, powerless boy you used to be, unable to save people, think of the past failures that you've ever experienced, imagine yourself experiencing that right now," Yagi continued with a small smile, "It's not any different, right?"

Darkshine's tears uncontrollably poured out of his eyes, crying himself in silent, "K- kid..." He muttered.

Yagi scratched his head in embarrassment, "I- I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to lecture you like that, God, that is so disrespectful. I just..I just see that you needed a word of encouragement and I-"

"It's okay kid..." Darkshine reassured, "What you said..I...it meant a world to me. You were...you were truly convincing." He smiled in amidst of his tears.

Yagi didn't say anything for a moment, before smiling widely into the pro-hero's direction, "No problem!" He then turned his attention to Ganryu, who laid down in his wounds.

"I was unable to carry him even further, I didn't have any strength left.." Darkshine admitted. Yagi nodded in understanding, "I'll carry him. Wait here for a moment, I'll be back in a sec." He then carried the bloodied number one hero in his shoulder effortlessly, before sprinting towards the nearest hospital in insane speeds

Darkshine smiled lightly as he saw Yagi disappearing out of sights. Out of the corners of his mind, he realised something.

The kid has given me a new purpose.

Kaiju No Kingu Hospital..

Tatsumaki was awaken by a gentle rub on her forehead. She opened her eyes, only to see the man who saved her earlier checking on her.

"Well, well, well..." The hero puts his hand on the younger girl's neck, feeling a rise in temperature on her body, "Looks like you have a mild fever. You should rest for a bit, girl." Gran Torino suggested.

"Where... where's Fubuki..." Tatsumaki weakly asked, her voice raspy. "Oh you mean that little girl who had a long black hair? She's fine. I'm assuming that's your bigger sister." Gran Torino replied.

Tatsumaki widened her eyes. She was placed on the same hospital that she put her sister on? What a surprise. Makes her job of watching over her easier.

"Little sister." Tatsumaki corrected, feeling a bit irritated that another person mistaken her age due to her size, "Get it right next time, old man." She said. Though rude, her voice was still raspy and weak.

Sorahiko sighed in exasperation, before deciding to exit the room, letting the insult slide, "Well, insults aside, you should stay here for the time being. What you did out there was reckless and uncalled for, you don't have a license or the proper experience yet, so you best behave next time." He scolded for a bit, before opening the door and closing it.

Tatsumaki looked at the slammed door, before snubbing, "Hmph!" She crossed her arms while laying on the bed, "What a crappy old man! This is why I need the license!"

Outside of the Hospital...

Sorahiko walked out of the hospital, ready to look for the problem child. But when he was about to do so, it seems that he didn't have to do any more work or so.

Yagi Toshinori suddenly appeared in front of him in a blitz, carrying the number one hero, Ganryu, in his shoulders. Sorahiko's expression darkened, "G- Ganryu?!"

"Um, hey there...I think I might've heard of a pro-hero like you before...was it Grand Tour?" Yagi rubbed his chin in wonder.

Sorahiko stared at him incredously, before sighing, "It's Gran Torino, and you and I have a lot to talk about."

"Uh, wha-" Yagi was interrupted when Gran Torino shot him a glare, speaking, "I know the truth behind the defeat of the subterraneans, kid."

Yagi widened his eyes. H- huh? What? How? Nobody caught me in camera, right? Unless he put the pieces together..

"I have a lot of questions for you, but right now, get the man inside." Gran Torino ordered, earning a gulped nod from Yagi.

Inside...

"He's..." The doctor nervously gulped, before saying, "He's dead. I don't notice any heartbeat, his organs...stopped functioning."

Hearing this, Yagi took a step back, widening his eyes in shock, "W- what?!"

"Doctor, is this..are you positive?" Gran Torino asked one more time, earning a nod from the doctor, "Blood loss is not something we should trifle with. It could cause a hundred percent deaths of any victims. I'm sorry, but...the number one hero is dead.."

"...We should contact his family.." Yagi offered with a weak whisper, which was audible enough for Gran Torino.

"Ah, I think that can be arranged." Sorahiko replied, before picking his phone out of his pocket. It was a flip phone, an old ass phone that's irrelevant in this day and age, but it was better than nothing.

He swiped through the contacts, and found the name 'Uraraka Hinata'. He had meet the daughter of Ganryu on several occasions, and that was enough for him to finally decide to save her number, as well as she did. You could say that they're... acquaintances.

He pressed it, as the phone buzzed, before the other party answered...

"Hello? Oh! It's you, mister Sorahiko!" The girl from the phone answered.

"Hey there, how you doing? Did you get to one of the evacuation basements?" Sorahiko asked. Uraraka replied, "Yeah..it sucks, really, I was just out there watching constructions company doing their job, to learn from them, until a monster came and destroyed everything." She finished with a somber tone.

"Ah well, glad you made it out okay, but..." Sorahiko paused for a moment, wondering how should he be blunt with the only daughter of the number one hero.

"But what?" Uraraka asked. Sorahiko replied again, "Well, you see... it's...about your father..."

"My father? Hell yeah! He was so cool facing those monsters with his hero buddies! Collateral damage should've been avoided though, but he was so cool! Did he make it out okay? I saw him in the news for a bit, but he looked pretty roughed up there." Uraraka asked in a bright tone, which shattered both Sorahiko and Yagi's heart.

"Uraraka-san... I'm sorry.." Gran Torino apologized, as he could no longer muster out any more words.

"Gran Torino, sir? What do you mean?" Uraraka's tone changed into concern, but Sorahiko didn't answer. He didn't have an idea how to break the news to her, he felt guilty as enough as it is. "GRAN TORINO!" Uraraka's tone rised, "What is going on?! Tell me!!"

"Your father..." Gran Torino paused again, struggling himself to say the next words, which he managed to say barely, "Is..dead.."

"Gran Torino, please, if you're trying to joke around, this isn't-?!" Uraraka was interrupted by the stern voice of Sorahiko, "I'm not joking..it was hard enough for me to break it up to you, but I'm sorry, he's..really dead..the monsters got him."

And a cry was heard coming out of his phone. An agony, pained, and sorrowful cry that shattered Yagi's heart, before the other party decided to hang up.

"...I..I guess that happened..." Gran Torino said with a saddened tone, before looking into the direction of Yagi, "Now..about the-"

Yagi was gone. "That damned problem child...!!" Gran Torino yelled, but stopped being infuriated when he remembered the situation. The number one hero was dead, and there was nothing he could do about it.

Damn it! This is why I should interfere! Screw licenses! Screw the law! Yagi yelled mentally as he sprinted into the direction of where Superalloy Darkshine rests.

He stopped with a gust of wind, before lending a hand to the injured pro-hero.

"Kid!" Superalloy Darkshine called out, "How did it go-?"

"Ganryu's dead." That revelation by Yagi shocked Darkshine to his core, "D- dead?! B- but..that means..."

"And no, it's not your fault." Yagi interjected, knowing what the hero was going to say next, "If anything, it's mine for not arriving sooner."

"What are you talki-" Darkshine was interrupted when Yagi replied with a somber tone, "Believe it or not, I have the power to stop all of these invasions easily, yet I chose not to interfere. It's a mistake on my part, I should've interfered earlier, that way, I could've prevented his death."

Darkshine was about to argue, but he couldn't say much. He wasn't good at comforting people. "Anyway, I'll get you to the hospital." Yagi offered, as he lend a hand, and both of them disappeared in an instant.

Back at the hospital..

Sorahiko was waiting outside of the room which was occupied by the dead number one hero, the doctor waiting for the arrival of his one and only family to decide what to do with the body.

As he waited, suddenly, a gust of wind stormed by him, as the smokes cleared, Yagi was holding the number three ranked hero, who looked like as if he was ready to puke, "Gran Torino, I-"

"You little rascal!" Gran Torino approached him with a scowl, "You left without speaking a word!"

"I'm sorry, but he really needed my help." Yagi defended himself, "We'll talk later, I need to get him somewhere." He then sprinted again, disappearing in an instant with the muscular hero, much to Gran Torino's infuriation.

"Wait, was that...Superalloy Darkshine?"

But seconds later, Yagi returned to the hero's side with a sheepish smile, "Heh, I apologize, what was it that you wanted to talk about?"

But Gran Torino was startled by the teen's sudden reappearance, "You idiot! I'm a growing man and I don't think my heart is strong enough to handle the crap you just pulled!"

Yagi scratched his head in embarrassment, "So- sorry!"

Gran Torino let out a little chuckle out of amusement, Is this really the kid who put an end to the invasion single-handedly? I guess looks can deceive.

He then cleared his throat, before speaking, "Yagi, was it?"

Yagi knew that he knew his name through Nana. The both of them are known as friends by the public, so it was hardly a surprise.

"Yeah, that's my name." Yagi nodded, "Though I'm curious about what you wanted to say."

"I just wanna say how much of a reckless fool you are, charging into the face of danger and treats it like nothing." Gran Torino crossed his arms, "What were you thinking, kid?"

"I..err, I just..look, I have the power to stop it, so I did, I had to!" Yagi replied with a louder tone. Gran Torino sighed, "You could've let the professionals handle this. What if you were hurt? Don't you even think about your own well-being? Plus, usage of quirks-" Gran Torino paused, before saying, "Vigilantism are illegal in this country."

"I don't care if it's illegal or if the law is against me, if I I have the power to stop something that is threatening the safety of these innocents, I would, licenses and laws be damned." Yagi retorted.

Sorahiko sighed, "Then I guess you'd be facing the consequences, kid."

"I won't." Yagi replied, "I shut those camera's off for a reason." Sorahiko was a bit taken off by his statement, before smirking, "So that's why the camera's stop working. I guess I was right."

Sorahiko then approached Yagi, his expression softened, "I know you're a good kid with a good heart. I've heard a lot about you. Nana praises you a lot, and it's starting to get old these days." He laughed, before continuing, "But you have to stop putting yourself in danger. One of these days, your recklessness will destroy you. You could be a great hero, but that won't happen if you don't think for a second, just for a second, about yourself."

Yagi knew he was right, but he felt the urge to give him a test run, to make him see the reason why Yagi felt obliged to interfere. He suddenly grabbed Gran Torino by his shoulder, before disappearing from the place in an instant.

Canyons of Shine, miles and miles away from Musutafu...

Yagi and Gran Torino appeared in an instant between the canyons, the gust of wind clearing from the surface.

Gran Torino began puking as he realises where he is, "K- kid, where did you-?!"

"I just want to give you a test run of my powers." Yagi replied. Gran Torino asked back in confusion, "What do you mea-"

"Hit me, try to hit me as hard as you can." Yagi lifted his hands, motioning his hands to get the pro-hero to come and attack him.

"Yagi, what are you even trying to do?" Sorahiko asked with greater confusion. Yagi replied, "Just try to hit me. As hard as you can."

Sorahiko sighed, "Fine..this still doesn't calm my nerves out, because I'm freaked out that you brought me here in less than a second where the fastest train in the world would take a few hours." He clenched his fists, before using his jet quirk to launch himself towards the teen.

He threw barrages of attacks, only to be dodged effortlessly by the teen, his movements can't even be seen, given how fast Yagi is, which surprised the older pro-hero, What kind of monster is he?!

At the last seconds, Sorahiko cocked his fist away, preparing for his final, strongest strike. But before he can do so, Yagi suddenly disappeared from his sight.

"W- what?! Where is..." Sorahiko felt wind pressure from his back, before turning to see Yagi behind him, cocking his fist back, ready to unleash his full strength.

Before Sorahiko could move, however, in an instant, the world felt slowing in his perception, and Yagi's fist were already inches away from hitting him.

All he saw, was what the Subterranean King saw before he got blown up to pieces,

DEATH

As Sorahiko closed his eyes, suddenly, no impact was felt by him. He slowly opened his eyes, feeling the wind pressure increasing. As he opened his eyes fully, he saw that Yagi's fist stopped at the last second.

He looked to the ground, only to see that some dirt and rocks were already blown off by the force of Yagi's attack. He widen his eyes even more when he saw the destruction the teen laid on the canyon behind him, leaving a giant hole on two of the canyones, while the one in the middle got obliterated completely.

And what's worse...The clouds in the sky got split apart by just the wind pressure created by Yagi's fist alone.

"Yagi, what the hell did you just..." Gran Torino couldn't bother to finish his sentence, as he was too shocked in horror. He knew the teen was mysteriously strong, but he didn't think he was THIS strong.

"Do you see now why I felt obliged to interfere?" Yagi asked, keeping his expression as neutral as possible, "I have all these powers, and I don't even have the slightest idea how I got it. I just trained, and trained, and I got this. To be honest, I might not even know about the truth to my power. I'm quirkless. I used to be weak, barely able to save anyone, barely able to help anyone, I used to feel so useless." Sorahiko turned to see Yagi, his eyes blackened due to the shadows his hair created.

"I have powers beyond imagination, they can even outclass the quirks of those top three heroes, who almost got themselves killed. With all these powers at my disposals, I can't just sit idly by as people die under my watch, and I can't simply wait for three years of academy just to proclaim myself as a pro-hero and finally get the chance to save people. Power comes with responsibilities, even politicians have responsibilities with all that power they hold, the same goes with me. The moment I held these powers, that's the moment where the weight of the entire city rests upon my shoulders." Yagi finished, before unclenching his fist, standing straighter than before.

Sorahiko couldn't say anything. There was nothing, no arguements, no opposing ideas, that he can use to counter Yagi's words. He had power, even beyond those of the heroes that were at the top. If he can put an end to villains easier than the pro-heroes can, why not?

But there was one thing, one problem that Sorahiko thought of, and that was, "But in that way, you'll be going against the laws. Vigilantism, no matter how well-intentioned you are, is illegal."

"I'm ready to go against the law if that's the case." Yagi replied with determination, "If I have to choose between saving a person in need and abiding by the laws, I'd choose the former."

Yagi then approached the stunned pro-hero, before saying, "Let's go back. I just hope you understood why I did what I did." In an instant, they disappeared from the surface.

Back with Nana...

Nana calmed down after a few minutes. She stared at the ceiling, pondering on what she should do after this. Aside from trying to meet the kid who were responsible for the whole attack, she didn't know what to do. She didn't even know if Yagi would accept her offer for One for All, which drops her mood even more.

Even if she's good at hiding her only son, All For One is even more good at what he does.

She has to find a successor, a suitable, worthy successor sooner or later. Yagi, at this point, is the only contender. Suddenly, her train of thoughts disappeared when her best friend suddenly barged into her room with exhaustion.

"S- Sorahiko?! What is it!? Did you find him?!" Nana asked in a panicked tone. Sorahiko replied, "Yes...and Nana? I think...I think we should support his tendencies for committing vigilantism.."

Nana stared at him incredulously for a second, before screaming, "WHAT?!"

"Hey, King..you okay, man?" Yagi asked his friend through the phone while leaning against the wall.

"Oh thank god, you're alive! I'm fine, Yagi, are you?" King responded with a relieved tone.

Yagi replied, "I'm fine. Good to know you are too."

King then spoke again, "And before you ask, Izumi is fine too. We're in basement A at the moment, and as usual, my dad's asleep again, not even caring about his surroundings. Typical."

"Oh, that's...good. Honestly, if I've known about the basements, I would've put you both there." Yagi replied with a somber tone, "But enough of that, where's Izumi?"

Before King can answer, a feminine voice came instead, "TOSHI-KUUUNNN!!"

"Hi, Izu-chan! How are you feeling?" Yagi asked again with a compassionate tone. "I was sad! I thought the bad monsters killed you!" Izumi said while sobbing.

Yagi laughed lightly, before replying, "It would take more than that to kill yours truly, Izu-chan."

Izumi laughed a bit, but still saddened, "I'm glad you're-a okay, Toshi-kun! Will you be coming here?"

"I will..but there's something that I have to do first, and then, I'll be there to meet you and King." And Genos, Yagi added mentally. He also has Yui to visit after them.

"Oh.." Izumi replied, a bit saddened, "Okay then."

"Aw, don't be sad. I won't be for long, promise." Yagi reassured, "See you soon okay, Izu-chan?"

"Okay!" Izumi replied, her tone different than before. Yagi hung up, before walking towards the room of the number one hero.

Well, he should be there to speak his condolences to Uraraka Hinata when she comes. And since he has a great wealth at his disposals, courtesy of the Yaoyoruzu Family, well, let's just say he's planning to pay for the hero's funeral.

As he walked, he saw someone familiar helping a pro-hero with an unkempt hair walking across the hospital floor.

Wait, is that...is that the Amai Mask guy? Yagi thought in his head, but decided to brush it off as he has to attend to more important matters as of now.

I really hope this goes well...

Later on...

Yagi wasn't ready when Uraraka stormed in the room, crying into her dead father's arm. Yagi couldn't say or do anything to comfort the girl, so he only stood there, only speaking a few words, "I'm sorry about your father's loss.." He mustered the words, but Uraraka Hinata didn't seem to hear him.

The doctor only could say, "I'm sorry, miss Uraraka, I wish things were different."

Uraraka could only laugh bitterly as her tears soaked the bed of the pro-hero, "Drop the miss crap, doc, I'm only 14.."

Ochaco then turned her head to the teen, whom she found out has been helping her father throughout the whole ordeal, "Hey, thanks for the help, er..."

"Yagi Toshinori." He replied. Uraraka nodded, tears still soaking her cheeks, "Thank you for helping my dad out. I saw you on television, I didn't know how you survived that, but I really appreciate it."

Yagi only nodded, "It's the best I could do, Uraraka-san." It was a lie. He didn't do the best he could do. He let the pro-hero die. But he didn't have time to express his guilt in front of the girl.

"Although there is something else that I..really should do for you." Yagi spoke again, his guilt rising as he did. "No, you did enough, Yagi-san." Uraraka rejected the offer.

"I insist." Yagi interjected, "I was given a wealth that I didn't ask for. At the very least, let me pay for your father's funeral."

Uraraka widened her eyes at this, before letting out a yelp of surprise, "W- what are you t- talking about?!"

Meanwhile...

All For One let his smirk spreads as he saw the teen appeared in front of the dying pro-heroes in the live footage, proclaiming that he was here to save them.

As the footage goes, suddenly, it malfunctions, and the footage was over. All For One let out a chuckle, "I know a trick when I see one. He did that to disperse the attention away, due to his status as an unlicensed citizen."

Kyudai spoke, "Are you saying that he was the one who defeated the monsters, all by himself?"

"Precisely." All For One replied, "Perhaps, in this day and age, project esper is not needed for me to receive the proper challenge that I sought for so long."

Kyudai Garaki was distraught by the revelation, all his works went to waste because of one, feeble teenager. But then, All For One lifted his mood up, "But I don't want to waste your lifework, doctor. This teenager could be not living up to his expectation when I meet him. It would be a ruse to us. We can use him as a last resort, if your project fails, and IF One for All fails too. The vigilante whom disappears can wait for a little while." He clasped both of his hands as he continued to inspect the live footage.

Kyudai's mood was lifted, but he couldn't help but grimace at his master's doubts about his project. I'll show you, master, just how important my project is compared to that brat and that useless quirk, One for All.

That's all for today's chapter! I hope you enjoyed it! Stay tuned for the next!
