I've always loved to write. I enjoy getting to know the characters enough that they lead the story and I follow behind writing it.

After a lengthy break from writing, I got back into it a couple years ago writing NCIS: LA fanfiction. I love the depth of the characters. I was drawn most to Kensi and Deeks, but not to their relationship, as many may guess from my stories, but to their partnership. These are two well developed characters with flaws and pasts, but who were able to come together and build trust and friendship together. And I love that we got to see them from the beginning, and saw the struggle they went through to become partners and build trust together.

I'm currently focusing most of my writing time on a long-term project called A Different Love Story. I've also put out a few oneshots. Overall, I'm overwhelmed with the response from this supportive community.

It was always my intention to finish Here We Are (HWA). This storyline unfortunately got pushed to the side when I was working to finish WYB. I've appreciated every PM and review over the last several years showing continued interest in this story. I spent a great deal of time making my way through What I'm Here For (WIHF) and Still Here (SH) to remind myself of the story, nuances and inside jokes that ruled this 'universe.' Unfortunately, as has happened before, the death of one of main characters I was writing about has stopped me in my tracks. More than half of the main characters included so much in this story are gone, most having died. I struggled to continue writing the characters after each death, but Derek was maybe too much. I gave it some time, but I've not been able to move this story line forward at all and have not been part of the GA's ff community in years. I'm so very sorry to everyone who has read, reviewed/PM'd support for this whole storyline, but at this time I just don't think I'll ever be able to continue. If anyone out there is interested in continuing HWA, or writing in the WIHF universe, I'd be happy to see it go forward. Let me know and I'll even send you the basic notes I still have for what I had planned for the future (not that you would have to follow it in any way).
