Burn with Me Tonight
By: Rise of the Blossom

"Hawks…" came her low warning that the others couldn't hear, voice thick as it trailed off so that her teeth could grit to mask her pain. She wasn't sure how much longer she could hold on for, not when her legs felt like they'd been jellified and her bones burned.

It was without looking back at her that Keigo shifted closer discreetly, his cheerful expression never faltering as he exchanged quick goodbyes with the other agency. For that, Sakura was extremely grateful, as the last thing she wanted or needed after such a hellish mission was those guys knowing her weaknesses, especially not the loudmouthed one.

And just as her legs finally gave out and her eyes rolled to the back of her head, body succumbing to the agony it was in, Keigo swiftly spun on his heel and caught her before it became obvious. Arms coming around her waist to hold her up and presenting the others with his back, wings expanding proudly with a distracting whoosh, he offered a wink over his shoulder like all was good. Fortunately, his act was seemingly bought.

"My favourite part of the day." She barely heard him teasing them or knowingly making one of the boys blush madly at his insinuations. The others were unmoving, clearly unamused by his antics.

She didn't feel their take off or Keigo's comforting kiss on the side of her head once they were up in the air and rapidly escaping their view. But she could sense the safety he radiated, the comfort that she longed for and that was all she needed in moments such as those. It was exactly what she needed while succumbing to unconsciousness to let her know she was okay.

"C'mon, kid," he softly murmured and the arms around her tightened reassuringly. "Let's get you home."

She awoke with double vision and intense pains that seemed to run straight down into the very centre of her bones, leaving Sakura speechless and immobile for several long moments. Barely even able to swallow to ease her horrendously dry throat, a single tear slipped down the side of her face, disappearing into damp hair, but other than that, a brief twitch of her fingers was the only reaction she was able to give.

That was more than enough for her hero, however and relief tore through her intensely at the sight of him coming to stand in her doorway, summoned by the single feather he'd left in her dominant hand.

"Finally," he taunted gently and approached, mindful of jostling her too much as he sat by her side. "I was beginning to think you were just being lazy."

It wasn't until Keigo administered the familiar pain relief and aided her in sitting up for a tall glass of water that slowly, her vision returned to normal and the agony her body was trapped in began to gradually subside. For now. She knew by now that it was far from over.

"How're you feeling now?"

Undeniably better, especially when Keigo returned to her side with a cool, damp cloth to wipe away the sweat and cool her heated skin. She relaxed under his comforting touch, forehead soon pressing into the crook of his neck in silent thanks.

"…Weak," she eventually managed to croak and was reluctant to pull away or make any sudden movements despite knowing from previous experiences how effective the pain relief was, just in case.

"I'm not surprised," he murmured in a vaguely chastising tone. "You overdid it."

Yeah, she knew that already and Sakura was well aware of how idiotic she'd been by pushing her quirk to the extremes. But what was she supposed to do when that loudmouthed brat kept provoking her own hothead nature by calling her a goddamn extra? When the other one repeatedly felt the need to interfere like he was doing her a favour? The only decent one was Endeavour's kid and that was mostly down to him keeping to himself, only really speaking with her to share instructions or plans.

Sakura knew that she wasn't up to the levels of Keigo or Endeavour – maybe not even those kids', as sad as it was to admit – but she wasn't weak. She was powerful in her own right.

She was.

She was…

At the stubborn tears that were quick to soak his shirt, muscular arms came around her and were soon followed by his wings like they were trying to comfort her too, bringing a reluctant smile to her lips.

It wasn't exactly rare for them to team up with other agencies, however Sakura knew that her response to that particular mission was (and she completely blamed that explosives kid). Part of her knew that Keigo – no, she knew that Hawks would need to step up as her boss to carry out some form of disciplinary action for her recklessness and shit, she hated that she put him in such a difficult position.

How could she even begin to apologise for that?

"One more packet, then you're all good," he informed her while gingerly pulling away to inspect the IV drip she was hooked onto. That particular rehydration packet was almost empty, though another one was sitting on her nightstand waiting to be connected.

"You've never told me how you learned to do all this," Sakura tried to make light conversation during the switch over of packets – a sad attempt to steer away from the reprimanding she was due, if only for a short while.

Still, mad at her or not, she couldn't help but to admire the certainty of his actions as he took care of her just as he had many times in the past, eyes clearly relieved now that she was awake but body language pensive, no doubt because of her situation.

"I took a few courses after your first hospital admission," Keigo told her quietly, glancing over at Sakura when she leaned back against the headboard and shut her eyes. "Nobody likes staying there if they can help it."

That wasn't the whole truth, Sakura noted immediately though was too tired to call him out on it. Besides, their relationship worked so well because they valued one another's privacy and trusted the other. If Keigo wasn't ready to talk – because she knew vaguely how dark his past was now that he was slowly facing it – that was okay.

It never stopped her from feeling curious though, she thought with a smile.

The patience was rewarded with his eventual weighted sigh, and the bed dipped once more. Rather than facing her, however, she found upon reopening her eyes that he sat with his back to her, wings tensely pressing closer to his back in a show of discomfort.

"It never gets easier seeing you like this. Every time it happens, I feel helpless," he admitted thickly after several long minutes of tense silence. "So, I… I took a few courses to train myself to administer your pain relief and intravenous drips."

He had? Damn, and here Sakura thought he'd simply picked it up along the way. She felt her heart warming wonderfully at the thought of him actually going out of his way to learn about the medical intervention required.

She reached out weakly, fingers meeting the soft crimson feathers and causing a delicate shudder to run down his spine.

"Thank you," Sakura earnestly whispered.

He'd always had her back from day one of their meeting, and Sakura couldn't control the flutters in her belly at the heartening reminder. No matter what the situation or how serious it potentially was, whether it had anything to do with him or not, Keigo was there for her.

"A community nurse did the main part," he said with a sigh, leaning back into her gentle caressing of his wings. "I'm just going off what he told me to give to you, to save you the trouble of staying in a hospital."

Ten months down the line and she still couldn't shake the novelty of being able to touch Keigo's wings – providing the time and place, of course. But in that moment, he thrived under her gentle ministrations, back arching and wings giving the slightest of shakes before they stretched out further to silently tell her that he wanted it deeper. She was all too happy to comply and smiled tiredly at his quiet groan.

Then he abruptly but carefully leaned out of reach just as her nails scraped lightly over the base of his wings, sending her an impish smirk from over his shoulder. "Don't start something you can't finish, Sakura."

"Maybe I can't finish," came her lilting response. "But you–"

An amused snort had her pouting playfully at his back, however the tiredness that accompanied her recovery was too evident for Keigo to overlook, and he gave a knowing squeeze to her thigh while standing.

"Rest up," he ordered, and she softened to the loving kiss placed on her forehead. "In a few days, you're going to help me train."

"Train?"

Ah, the training wasn't half as bad as she'd thought it would be. All Sakura really had to do was stroll around undercover while Keigo searched for her from the skies. To make it trickier on him, she'd spent the better part of the morning fitting and styling a wig to make it appear as natural as possible from an aerial view, as well as changing into clothes that she normally would never wear. Then, just in case (because Hawks was an impressive hero with insane skills), she also wore a new perfume.

The aim of Keigo's training was to refine his tracking skills – Sakura knew not to ask why at that point, for he was plagued by dark assignments that caused… Gods, they gave him horrific nightmares that damn near had her in tears whenever they managed to wake her up and left her struggling painfully to comfort him through the terrors. Just seeing that side of Keigo had her despising the higher ups – the commission.

But he'd told her not to stress over it, to stay out of it for as long as she could.

Easier said than done.

Sakura stubbornly shut the thoughts down as she integrated with the mass crowds of shoppers, picking the high streets due to the chaotic noise that would make it harder for Keigo to pinpoint her location when he–

Smirking to herself at the well-timed vibrating of her phone, she answered it swiftly and brought it to her ear, sparing an intrigued glance up at the sky to check for those infamous wings that were instantly recognisable. So far, the endless stretch of blue was clear of crimson and had her smiling at the peacefulness of the picture-perfect weather. It was the ideal day to finally leave her apartment.

"Moshi, moshi," she answered in a sing-song voice.

After spending the past three days recuperating and binge-watching television shows while Keigo returned to his duties as the number two hero, Sakura was itching to finally get out there and do something – anything – with herself. What better way to get herself back out than to help her hero in sharpening his skills? While brushing up her own skills for when she needed to go undercover?

"Ah, hearing your voice over the phone drives me crazy," he teased, and she just knew that he'd be smirking. "What are you wearing right now, baby?"

"Mind your words," she replied impishly, rolling her eyes.

Nobody recognised her in the disguise and Sakura relished in the freshness of being able to walk down the street without being stopped or spoken to. While she loved the recognition and appreciation of their hard work, sometimes, she just wanted to go from a-to-b without distractions.

"My words, huh?" came his mischievous response that had her fighting the urge to smirk. "Is that because it's been too long?"

Five days without sex wasn't that long, she wanted to reply with. However, that would be a lie and they both knew it. It felt like a lifetime for both of them (although usually, mostly Keigo – his sex drive was insane).

"You tell me," Sakura hummed. "How you holding up?"

"I'm not," he cheerfully told her, provoking a fond shake of her head. "I plan on taking a few days off to have my wicked way with you."

Something they only did once a month – take a real break, that was. Other than that time away, they went back to her apartment and hung out. Depending on the type of day it was work-wise then they either relaxed and lounged around the apartment, or barely left the bedroom, only coming away long enough to grab nourishment or use the bathroom.

If they were taking a few days off then they tended to go off the grid (as much as Keigo could, anyway), disappearing to a cabin out in the deep forest that he'd rented under a false name to keep them from being disturbed. Sakura loved being there and losing herself in the undisturbed nature – she could look out the window and see deer peacefully occupying their yard or watch the sun setting over the lake not too far from the cabin and there wouldn't be any sounds of civilisation for tens of miles. It was their safe haven.

"That so?" she giggled. Eyeing those around her going about their day, she flicked her blonde bangs to ensure they continued to cover the distinctive diamond mark on her forehead. "Maybe you should try finding me first – if you can, that is."

"You're such a brat," he chuckled darkly.

Sakura could tell that Keigo was flying at a leisurely pace due to there being no annoying howling winds over the line, just a gentle, varying whooshing similar to that of an osculating fan. Many believed flying at top speeds was his idea of a good time (and at times, it was), but she knew that one of his favourite types of flying was merely going with the flow, flying low and slow, as it granted Keigo the opportunity to truly appreciate his surroundings or the world in general. "Believe it or not, I don't get to do it often," he'd once confided in her. He was needed too much.

Fighting back her smile lest people thought she was crazy, Sakura recalled the first time he'd ever taken her out flying. Just after graduation – not having the gall to outright ask that he attended, she'd badgered him for two whole weeks about it and hoped he'd take the hint. Unfortunately, for most of the ceremony she'd been unable to see him, and Sakura would be lying if she said it wasn't disheartening, her crush on him making it twice as upsetting. But then just like Keigo had the tendency to do so, he'd shown his face when she needed him most and cheered her up after Sasuke broke her heart for the final time.

It was that night that he'd offered her a permanent place at his agency too, sealing the deal with her own set of goggles and ear defenders designed similarly to his. It was a graduation present, was what Keigo had told her.

"Like you're really complaining," she shot back, unable to hide the smile now.

"Complain about you? Never," Keigo murmured into the phone, and she felt her heart stutter in response to the fondness that coated his words. Then, softly, he asked, "How are you holding up?"

"I'm a little achy," Sakura responded truthfully, shrugging even though he couldn't see her. "Nothing that's unmanageable."

After experiencing the piercing agony that plagued her whenever she overused her quirk, nothing could really compare or create half the impact. It was those moments of unrelenting torture that granted Sakura the ability to take many beatings without batting an eyelash – proving that there was a silver lining to everything, for it gave her an edge when facing fierce villains with devastating quirks.

"Well, the moment I find you, I'm taking you home," he assured her gently, but caused her to hesitate in replying when she sensed uncertainty in his silence. "Y'know," Keigo continued with a lilt to his voice that told Sakura he'd been waiting for some kind of opening, and she smiled knowingly. "Thinking about it, I spend most of my time at your place nowadays."

They never stayed at his place – she knew it was because of where he lived and who also resided in the same complex. Rather than risk being spied on or having their relationship exposed (although Sakura had a sneaking suspicion the commission already knew about it and were merely biding their time), they chose to make her apartment (and the cabin, of course) their safe haven. It'd become the one of two places Keigo could truly relax and it filled her with inexplainable happiness knowing that she brought him such peace.

Instead of saying such sentimental things out in the open, Sakura chose to tease her hero by saying quietly, "That's because you're insatiable."

The low, promising chuckles sent a stab of heat straight to her belly and left her in awe at the fact that he could still so effortlessly evoke such an immediate reaction after their being together ten months already. In her previous relationships, the excitement had always faded after the first couple of months.

"Like you can talk, you little masochist. You're always begging to take it."

"What's your point?" she softly demanded, head dipping so that her wig could mask the pinkening of her cheeks.

More hesitation.

And then…

"Maybe we should look into finding somewhere that's all ours."

Her heart damn near stopped, his shocking words forcing Sakura to halt in her walk even when it caused civilians to quickly alter their paths, grumbling at her for disturbing their original unhurried pace. Many of those around her were shoppers who were perusing the high street stores, but there was the odd businessperson going about their day, possibly enjoying their lunch breaks since it was about that time of day.

None of them mattered, though. How could they?

"R-Really? As in… As in move in together? Won't that be too much with the media? We're barely keeping it under wraps as it is."

It was originally Keigo's idea to keep the relationship a secret. At first, Sakura believed it was down to his journey of healing, but he'd confided in her one night that it was mainly his concerns of the commission interfering that pushed him into secrecy. He eventually confirmed her suspicions of their being corrupt, however his opening up was a gradual process. They still weren't all the way there yet.

Sakura never once complained about the secrecy. Hell, the majority of the time, she preferred it. No friends or family poking their noses into her business. No media stalking them and taking photographs they never consented to, all for the sake of reporting on their relationship. No rumours or lies spread about them. Gods, it was as easy as breathing.

Simultaneously, Sakura wanted to share her happiness with her friends and family. She wanted the world to see their love because then the media could document those epic moments that they themselves couldn't.

"I'm tired of keeping us hidden," he admitted warmly, softly.

She was too.

If they went public then that meant real dates. They could go places that weren't secluded (as much as she adored the cabin they disappeared to once a month, Sakura longed for more time together out in the open).

"What do you say, kid?" he asked huskily. "Want to make it official?"

The words prompted her to continue the training as normal, sparing a suspicious glance up at the sky to make sure Keigo wasn't hanging around. "If this is just a trick to get me to give away my spot–"

"You know I would never do something so heartless."

Yeah, she did. That was how she knew she could lower any and all guards she'd ever been forced to create. It wasn't in his nature to be cruel towards her.

"Besides, this is still training," Keigo chuckled. "I'm not about to ease up when I'm so close."

Reflexes informed Sakura what was coming long before she was plucked from her place on the sidewalk and creating what could only be described as chaos in the crowds of shoppers as they realised their Hawks was there, prompting the winged hero to cheerfully announce their abrupt departure, much to the disappointment of the shoppers.

Although instincts told her to, she didn't put up a fight seeing as that wasn't a part of the training. All Keigo requested of her was to walk around until he managed to pinpoint her location – mission accomplished.

"Found you," he whispered seductively directly into her ear, sending a pleasurable shiver down her spine.

Smirking, Sakura warned him, "If I drop another one of my phones because of you, there'll be–"

"Hell to pay. So you've told me many times before."

Fortunately for his sake, she was able to reach upwards (albeit awkwardly) to deposit her phone safely into his pocket, but it seemed like his arms couldn't wait to be holding onto her tightly once more, barely giving her the chance to relax before doing so. And as they always managed to, being in his arms bathed her in safety and companionship and love, and Sakura relaxed fully.

They didn't go too fast considering she wasn't in her flying gear but the speed was considerable enough to make her eyes water and wig threaten to blow off – no doubt it would make for the most comical sight since it would leave her in the cheap cap that came with it. Keigo would never let her live it down should such a tragic thing happen (and neither would the media, came her frightening afterthought).

"Well?" he started, making Sakura smile widely as his nose nuzzled into her hair affectionately. "You didn't answer my question."

Want to make it official?

Living with Keigo, despite the fact he rarely ever left her place anyway, was undoubtedly a huge step but it also felt like a natural progression for them too. Rather than it feeling daunting or a cause for anxiety, she felt content with his request. It felt right. As did their going public.

She left him in suspense until they returned to her apartment via the balcony, telling him warmly, "Let's go public."

There was no surprise on her part when Keigo ditched all potential vocal responses. No, she relished in his impulsive choice to respond physically, in the delicacy of his touch while guiding her backwards. The time for talking was over for the time being and Sakura was more than okay with that.

After only a single moment of meeting the other's eye, they both decided the bedroom was too far away and settled on collapsing backwards onto the sofa, lips and tongues clashing hungrily, hands heavy in their caresses. Sakura barely had the ability to lift her hips off the cushions to aid Keigo in roughly tearing off her shorts and underwear, for her mind was too preoccupied with unbuttoning his pants, shoving them down just enough to free his hardening length.

Five days. It had only been five days since they were last intimate, yet it felt like a lifetime ago and it left her aching to feel him against her again, to the point where she almost told him not to bother with foreplay. She needed him inside of her now. But no matter how deeply he ached for her, Sakura knew Keigo would never risk hurting her and she sighed at the gentle but needy way his fingers probed her to see if she was ready for him, soon starting up a quick circular motion on her clitoris when he found she wasn't.

Teeth scraped along her neck and she tilted her head further back, hand swinging to grab at Keigo's hair in encouragement of his intentions, longing for him to leave his mark on her. A second later and the grip tightened abruptly, appreciatively, when he graced her skin with his tongue and lips and teeth, leaving wonderful bruising bites in his travel back to her mouth.

No matter how many times they were together so intimately, Sakura could never get enough of her hero. It was a feeling she hoped and prayed never disappeared for either of–

The abrupt disappearance of her wig as it got caught beneath her had Sakura's face instantly flooding with heat, the mortification quadrupling at Keigo's stunned reaction. He froze above her, golden eyes soaking in the beige coloured hair net that most definitely did absolutely nothing for the shape of her head and for the briefest of moments, his lips twitched. She could tell from a mile off that he was dying to burst into laughter, and wondered idly what was keeping such a response at bay before deciding she really didn't want to know.

"I didn't want to glue it down like I usually would," she whined while reaching up to snatch the cap off.

Awkwardly, she released her hair from the messy braids that couldn't hold such short strands properly (usually she would make the braids smaller and tighter, but it was only training so hadn't needed to look perfect up close – just for an aerial view) and pouted, arms dropping heavily to her sides when finally, the dam on Keigo's laughter burst.

"This is the one side of you that you've never let me see before," he laughed and to make matters worse, chose to sit back on his haunches to truly admire the sight of her wild waves and spiky layers. "It's cute."

Like hell it was!

Drawing the line at his attempting to ruffle her hair, Sakura caught his hand and raised a daring and unimpressed eyebrow.

"Don't be like that, baby," Keigo murmured teasingly and lowered himself against her once more. "You know you're beautiful – not even a bald cap–"

There was no hiding her mortification as she snapped, "It's not a bald cap!"

Gentle fingers ran through the unruly locks, brushing them back and allowing Keigo to take in the features he enjoyed praising. Honestly, Sakura was never one to feel overly self-conscious about her body – she was comfortable and knew she was pretty – however, since the start of their relationship, her confidence had skyrocketed thanks to Keigo's positive affirmations. Even on her bad days, she felt beautiful.

It was at that thought that Sakura leaned up to meet her hero halfway in a tender kiss that told him all was good. Of course, she would never take any real offence to his teasing her, though there was no denying the wig cap was a tiny bit of a downer.

He managed to shove those feelings aside effortlessly by merely situating himself between her thighs, and Sakura gasped into the deepening kiss when their restless hips caused a demanding pressure against her opening.

"Think you can take it, baby?" Keigo softly asked, his voice lowered with arousal.

Not much pain remained after her screw up aside from a few aches that were easily ignored. Even if that first day of recovery didn't leave her basically paralysed from the bone deep agony and immune to lower amounts of pain, Sakura wouldn't have been able to focus on those inconsequential aches. Couldn't when she purposely shifted her hips just as Keigo began rubbing the blunt tip of his cock along her slit, not for the first time leaving her in awe at his intense reaction of entering her.

It wasn't all that long after that first night together all those months ago that Sakura had decided to start taking contraceptive pills. At the time, it was so they would be double protected after an incident of a condom breaking and rushing for the morning after pill, but since then they'd admittedly taken advantage of it and were a little reckless so that they could truly feel one another, preferring the direct contact.

And fuck, the thought of him and the feel of him going in bare and leaving her a mess turned her on even more.

Keigo's mouth fell open and his brow puckered and to make that first raw thrust that little bit more intense for him, Sakura lightly scraped her nails over the base of his wings, and relished in the mindless bucking of his hips before he bowed into her.

"Every time," he groaned though certainly wasn't complaining. From the way he was throbbing warningly inside of her, she knew he loved it. "Fuck, you make me feel so good every fucking time."

Going against how they started out, Keigo's thrusts were slow and deep, keeping one hand on her hip to guide Sakura into following his rhythm. The other cradled the back of her head with heart-warming delicacy that left her trembling against him, leg coming over Keigo's hips and encouraging him to grind against her after each thrust, the friction dizzying.

His kisses were languid but intense, caresses insistent but loving and shit, the look in his eyes while looking down at her so appreciatively was enough to cause the knot to tighten ruthlessly, stealing Sakura's breath away at the realisation that she wouldn't last long. To ensure he was in the same boat as herself, her fingers returned to his wings and ran gently through the crimson plume that trembled under her ministrations, adoringly making their way to the base once more to pay them the attention she knew caused him to unravel.

The groan of her name was guttural and dripping with promise of his rapidly approaching orgasm, but what really gave him away was the incessant throbbing of his hot cock when he pushed as deep as he could get, burying his face into her neck. Fuck, she loved feeling him like this – so intensely raw, so visibly wracked by the tight heat attempting to milk him dry, all of it eliciting such otherworldly reactions that effortlessly brought her to the edge also.

"Sakura…"

Already knowing exactly what he was about to tell her, Sakura nodded quickly, whispering, "Please… inside."

She made sure he came with her, and he had her eyes rolling shut by acting on such a primal urge to lock himself so deep inside – not that she gave him much choice, for her legs lifting to her sides allowed Sakura's feet to push against his ass, arms locked around him and fingers somehow managing to keep up with their insistent touches that drove him crazy. And feeling the proof of that so directly caused her legs to quiver until Keigo kept them pinned, his cock pulsating maddeningly as he spilled himself inside of her.

"Who's the insatiable one now?" he questioned with a breathless chuckle, body trembling and begging that he didn't move. Keigo had told her on several occasions now that the sensitivity following his orgasm (when they didn't use a condom) was unbearable. "Dirty girl. Do you like it when I make a mess of your insides?"

Too lost in the euphoria and not even registering what she was actually saying yes to, she nodded distractedly, only just able to consciously shift her hands so that her nails dug into his clothed shoulders rather than his wings. Sakura tried her best to bring herself back down to earth to at least become more coherent, but her body had other plans – not that Keigo seemed to mind all that much.

He brought her down gently with soft, loving kisses, smiling against her skin whenever Sakura shivered from the heightened sensitivity, hips still bucking to draw out her orgasm.

"There you are," he teased once she relaxed fully into the sofa, chuckling at her dazed expression. "Now, how should we make our first public appearance?"

The thought had her growing instantly giddy, all traces of exhaustion fading fast.

"Keigo," she tried to chastise him, though was admittedly too distracted by the fingers pressing against the sweet spot inside her, toes curling and hips flexing. It took Sakura way too long to eventually force out, "We're supposed to be making our first public appearance at the opening of Naruto's agency."

Always the one with a flare for the dramatics, Naruto held nothing back with his grand opening, essentially making it the best opportunity for their announcement. Just the night before he'd been running through the finer details with her and Sakura honestly didn't think that her own wedding would have as much thought put into it. From buffets to an open bar, a DJ to models providing shots, fireworks, live performances and a red carpet, photographers, the media – everything.

She'd never been prouder of her friend.

All that he was doing, he was doing by himself. Taking charge and making his own way just like Naruto always claimed he would. Up until his dramatic opening (most heroes had a ribbon cutting ceremony and stopped at that), the blond was known as nothing more than the Yellow Flash's son with the risky quirk, but now he was making a name for himself. They couldn't ignore him or brush him off anymore.

"We'll really get their attention if we're the last to arrive."

"Or we'll miss the red carpet altogether–"

Sakura groaned when his tongue joined the mix without warning, head falling back against the cupboard with a quiet thud.

"It's either here or there," he cajoled and goddamn it, he knew she couldn't resist those sinful eyes peering up from between her thighs. "I need you, Sakura."

Like she could resist him, she thought with a sharp moan, her leg instinctively finding its way over his shoulder to better his angle. A strong hand kept an unyielding grip on her thigh, coaxing Sakura into spreading her legs wider for him and to reward her for responding so well, Keigo quickened his pace, fingers driving her wild with their relentless pumping.

"C'mon, baby," he groaned into her flesh, and she cried out at the insistent pace and encouragement, eyes squeezing shut. "I need you to cum for me."

Oh, Gods, she wanted to. And Sakura showed that desperation in her pulling on his hair and rolling hips, in her deprived groans and sobs and pleads that he hurry up and break her already, because she was most definitely going insane lingering there, teetering over that edge that–

A sharp cry signified her undoing, body growing impossibly taut for all of two seconds before it tried bowing into him and forcing Keigo to stand. But where she believed he was about to hold her still until she came down from such a magnificent high, he doubled the bliss by hoisting her thighs over his hips and so tortuously slowly sliding his already throbbing length inside of her contracting heat, their groans mingling in the small space left between their lips.

"Good girl," Keigo praised in a deep groan, one that broke off midway at the withdrawing of his hips. His breathing threatened to stop altogether when he thrust back inside, fingers digging into her ass and angling Sakura's hips onto his. "Fuck, you're such a good girl."

Shit, they were going to be so late, but when Keigo began thrusting more enthusiastically and moaning appreciatively directly into her ear, Sakura found she was slowly starting to not care. She couldn't even feel the repeated slamming of her back into the countertop, hands scrambling to find the best placement to keep herself stable until she settled on his shoulder and hair, back arching to try and feel more of him against her.

She'd barely been dressed five minutes before Keigo was undressing her once more, the towel hanging around his hips gone in mere seconds and left around his feet.

"Don't stop," Sakura begged, arms and legs locking around his body to keep him pressed tightly to her. "D-Don't stop, Keigo! Please–"

Much to her utter relief, he kept to the same ruthless pace even when she felt the shaking of his limbs. But then his wings expanded fully without any warning in response to his desperation to bring them to completion and Sakura grinned in satisfaction realising what that meant. And only a second later, she was gifted with the first intensified thrust, unable to hear the clattering of objects falling or crashing to the tiles, too lost in the moment to care.

Keigo mercilessly yanked her into the abyss with him, but just as she tried to muffle her sobs of pleasure into his shoulder, he tugged on her hair to force her head back, leaving the sounds to echo throughout the apartment, his expression twisting with his satisfaction.

A lifetime dragged by while Sakura tried to get her bearings and the first thing to leave her lips with a delirious grin that Keigo matched easily was, "Better?"

"Not even close," he warned, lips descending to hers hungrily to prove his point. His chest was heaving by the time they parted, grip once more bruising on her ass and thighs. "But we really will miss the opening at this rate."

They were reluctant in dressing up once more and Sakura sighed while styling her hair and redoing her makeup, eyes continuously straying to the unignorable man waiting patiently for her. As per Naruto's dress code, they were in their hero costumes and she knew from the lidded gaze (and all the times she'd ever caught him staring) that her crimson jumpsuit was distracting as hell for her hero, making Sakura grin impishly.

It was as she slid on her jacket and goggles that Keigo's arm snaked around her waist to yank her against him, but rather than his kiss being passionate and full of need, her heart warmed when he placed a single, tender kiss to the diamond mark on her forehead.

"You're so beautiful," he murmured.

But because that was exactly how he'd caused the first couple of delays, Sakura valiantly fought off the effects of his words and shot back playfully, "Don't start that again. Hawks has to make his appearance."

"Ah, but Keigo wants to stay~"

"That's just too bad," she scolded lightly, lips tugging with a smirk. "We have two tasks for tonight: support Naruto and take advantage of his allowing the media to attend the opening."

During the lead up to Naruto's opening ceremony, Sakura was wracked with nerves at their going public for a multitude of reasons. One major concern of hers was knowing they wouldn't really have any peace or privacy for at least a few weeks afterwards, as the media would want every sordid detail and were notorious for harassing people. The worries were validated when Keigo expressed he felt such a way too, and mutually, they put apartment hunting on pause until everything died down. That way they could do everything possible to keep it a secret and maintain their privacy, to make it a safe haven.

However, now, she felt mostly excited and was eager to get going.

"Fine, fine," Keigo said in a sigh, playing up his reluctance to leave.

As there always was while travelling in the skies, many of Hawks' fans pointed in excitement and waved. Although a few of the more devoted fans had taken a lot longer to warm up to her, Sakura was pleasantly surprised to find just as many waving to her too, and she smiled widely.

Flying with Keigo was one of her favourite pastimes and she relished in the leisurely pace he kept up, allowing them both to mentally prepare themselves for their entering the lion's den. The setting sun was the perfect distraction when nerves threatened to get the best of her, and Keigo prompted a warmer smile by flexing his arms around her, bringing her flush against him.

"You ready?"

Holy shit, they were actually doing this.

However, with him by her side as they faced off against the craziness of the media? "Always."

As expected of her hero, their arrival on the red carpet was flashy and Sakura grinned widely while posing with him for the first photograph in their flying gear, cheeks colouring when Keigo made it a point to not release her. It was only when she removed her goggles and ear defenders that he took a step back, but it was more to admire Sakura than to create space and she returned to him relatively quickly, arm coming around his waist to bring their sides together, both making the victory signs.

"I can't believe we're actually doing this," Sakura whispered to him, evoking a warm smile.

The entire journey down the red carpet was documented and Sakura repeatedly found herself blinded by the rapid flashes, unable to pinpoint a single voice in the collection of questions and demands being yelled out to them. Fortunately for her sake, a large hand found hers effortlessly and entwined their fingers, guiding Sakura confidently even when his affectionate kiss to the back of her hand caused a frenzy.

"You're really going for this," she teased when they came to their final stop for photographs.

"There's no way to misconstrue our relationship this way," came his impish response, making her stomach fill with butterflies when he ran his fingers through her hair to brush it back, gaze tender. "How you holding up?"

Although she was known as Hawks' number one sidekick and many knew of their precious bond, Sakura usually wasn't under the spotlight when it came to the media. Of course, many reporters wanted to know personal details of Hawks' life, but out of respect and love for her hero, she always redirected the conversation in one way or another without coming across as rude. Hawks was theirs – the public adored him and she would never do anything to jeopardise that connection they had. However, Keigo was all hers and she wouldn't let them overstep on her territory.

It was their first time ever showing romantic public displays of affection, but the fact that they'd all witnessed how close they were pushed Sakura into a bolder move, stunning Keigo when she stood on her tiptoes to kiss his cheek sweetly.

"No way to misconstrue our relationship," Sakura repeated his words, smirking impishly.

"Naughty girl. Trying to mark your territory, huh?" he whispered lowly into her ear before turning back and offering the paparazzi a knowing grin.

It was at the next meeting of their eyes that she raised a daring eyebrow and challenged, "Complaining?"

They really were causing a frenzy as the reporters anxiously fought one another to get the first interview, but being the playful hero that he was, Keigo merely offered a suggestive wink to the cameras and reporters before guiding Sakura into the building, ensuring to keep an arm around her at all times. He seemed impassive to the cries for them to return until his low chuckling told her he was enjoying toying with them.

The collective noises from the party drowned their arrival out and she was in awe at the turnout. So many familiar faces filled up the guest list and Sakura marvelled at seeing so many heroes in one place. She'd glimpsed at the list when Naruto first announced who he was inviting, but honestly? She hadn't expected half of the people to turn up. Even Keigo was hit or miss until they decided to use the opportunity to announce their relationship.

Even those bratty kids were there, she realised belatedly with a huge sigh of annoyance, shoulders slumping. If that Bakugo kid called her an extra one more time, she was going to lose her goddamn mind and take him down with her.

"–actually took my suggestion on board."

Shaking the negativity from her system, Sakura apologised to her hero for her straying attention before asking, "What suggestion?"

"I told him I'd only come if there's fried chicken as part of the buffet." His grin was wide and happy, the sight making her heart melt. "Come on, kid. Before it disappears."

Like it would, she thought to herself, disbelief almost immobilising her as Sakura eyed the luxurious spread. His mother had definitely had a hand in planning the menu – she could tell from the intricate details such as dietary warnings resting at each platter. Not all that hungry, she picked up a couple of snacking items, shaking her head fondly at the pile of chicken Keigo was quick to snap up.

Although many greeted them, it was only in passing save for one or two who knew Keigo more personally. While many of her own friends were there, they'd yet to notice their arrival and she found herself growing antsy for when they finally did, especially when her hero remained close, his gaze lidded whenever it met hers and making her blush.

So insatiable.

"There you both are!" cheered Naruto and Sakura bit the inside of her cheek at his rush over to them, fully prepared but still apprehensive for his response to their coming out. "I've been waiting ages for you guys."

Wait…

He didn't notice?

Masking the frown of confusion with a happy smile, she congratulated her best friend on the successful turnout for his opening ceremony, but there was no ignoring the frustration and confusion swirling dangerously the longer their being together went unnoticed by everyone.

It wasn't that she wanted to steal Naruto's thunder – she would never do that to him – but Sakura had been anticipating huge reactions from Naruto and Ino at the very least, who'd teased her relentlessly for years about her crush on Keigo. However, they were no different from usual and interacted with them just as they always did.

"Do they even realise there's a difference?" she demanded hotly.

Keigo snickered at that, telling her, "There isn't much difference, in their eyes. We've always been close, kid."

Well, yes, she supposed they had. But surely the vibe was completely different? How could they not notice? "What are we going to have to do to announce our relationship?"

Oh, she shouldn't have asked that, Sakura belatedly realised when Keigo rounded on her. His eyebrow quirked, eyes downright sinful as they appraised her appearance and when he smirked, it was languid and enough to reignite the heat in her belly.

"I have a few ideas–"

"Without destroying our reputations or getting kicked out for being inappropriate," she interjected as sternly as possible, though she knew he saw straight through her. He always did. "We might not be all that traditional, but there's plenty here who are."

His golden gaze fixating on a spot behind her let Sakura know they'd finally caught the attention of someone, and she eagerly glanced over her shoulder to find out who, only to have her attention redirected back to Keigo. Hand to her cheek, he offered another smirk – one she knew was purely to torment whoever it was behind them.

"Don't bother," he murmured playfully and her heart palpitated. "She's already on her way over."

"Sakura!" came Ino's shrill snap of her name, making Sakura snickered. "You guys are trending right now!"

Trending? Already? Spinning on her heel to greet her blonde best friend, she enthusiastically accepted Ino's phone and scrolled through the fanatical posts about them, heart lurching worriedly for a brief moment before she realised Naruto's name and agency were now trending too, thanks to them. While many huge names were there, it seemed only one popular station was live reporting the red carpet, so it was easily overlooked, but now everyone was talking about his event.

At the insistence of the blonde, they were brought together for an inside scoop picture, which was when others finally noticed the differences. How could they not when they stood together fairly intimately?

Satisfied with what she'd taken, Ino took a step closer and offered them a sharp smile that promised pain. "If you go anywhere for an interview before I get the juicy details for my vlog, I'll make you both believe that you're frogs for a whole week. Got it?"

"Scary." Keigo grinned.

"In all seriousness, I'm really happy for you guys," she added warmly, expression softening. "It's about time."

It was, Sakura thought fondly.

Ino remained by their sides asking invasive questions for a short while afterwards and worked mostly as a deterrent to keep others at bay until she spotted someone else to torment. From there, many approached and congratulated them or asked how or when it happened (Sakura found she didn't really like those questions as she heard a darker implication to the words from a few of her elders, reminding her that she'd started out as Hawks' work study back when she was fifteen), for the most part seeming genuinely happy for their coming together.

"You guys are lucky you didn't steal my thunder," teased Naruto, approaching with his arms folding behind his head. "I would've had to kick your ass, Hawks."

Her hero chuckled at that. "Anything to be number one, right?"

"Speaking of number one," he muttered with obvious dejection. "I invited Endeavour but he's a no show."

"You got his work studies," Keigo pointed out. "They seem to be here in his place."

Ah, but that would never be enough for her ambitious best friend and Sakura offered a gentler, more understanding smile at his disappointment. "You know the risks of having all the pros here in one place," she reminded him. "You said it yourself while compiling the guest list that villains would jump at the chance of trying their luck knowing everyone's here and distracted."

That cheered him up a little, just as she knew it would. "You're right, you're right. Anyways, I've gotta get back to being the host–"

"Make sure you eat something," Sakura reminded him just as Naruto started to walk away, knowing he'd kept a constant pace for weeks now.

Although he could be a huge idiot at the best of times, there was no mistaking his tendency to be a workaholic as he strove to become number one, Naruto's ambitious nature seemingly taking over everything else. It was a cause for concern but also one of the many reasons why she admired him so greatly, for Naruto was a person who'd overcome the hurdles of mastering his quirk – a quirk many hadn't trusted until they saw how hard he was working to better himself. Watching her friend basking in the rewards for his hard work had Sakura smiling throughout the night.

Catching Keigo's knowing gaze while she spoke with a few old friends from her days at U.A., Sakura attempted to mask the effects he was having on her. Luckily for her, it didn't seem like they noticed much, but she drew the line when it came to conversing with her former sensei. Kakashi was way too observant and the moment she withdrew from the conversation to return to Keigo, Sakura spared a glance around to make sure nobody was watching before grabbing his hand and tugging him out of the room.

"Got you that worked up, huh?"

She shushed him and once more double checked nobody was watching, listening intently just in case. Then, without a warning or shred of mercy, Sakura dragged Keigo into the bathroom and quickly shut the door behind them, sliding the lock into place with an air of finality.

He grinned wickedly, telling her with the expression alone that this was exactly what he'd been hoping for.

But she didn't care.

Sakura caught the hands that reached for her and instantly pinned them to the counter behind Keigo. She raised a challenging eyebrow at his surprise, lips curving mischievously and promptly bringing a rush of heat to his cheeks at the insinuation in her eyes.

"You've been torturing me all night," Sakura told him brazenly and leaned closer, teasing her hero with the closeness of their lips but the refusal to kiss him. "It's my turn now."

Sneaking away for quickies or for a quick make out session wasn't new to them, for it happened many times while at the office, but for whatever reason Sakura couldn't shake the adrenaline from her system as she riled her hero up. Eager kisses made his arms twitch like he wanted to break out of her restraining hold, and it was at that point that Sakura shifted her grip so that she could free one hand, relishing in his hiss of pleasure when she wrapped a hand around him through his pants.

Impatient to please after a single glimpse at how she was making him feel, she slipped the hand beneath his waistband though paused just as her fingertips grazed his hardening length, stilling at the sound of voices on the other side of the bathroom door.

"It's in use," groaned one of the partygoers.

"There's more than one bathroom in this place, moron."

With one of his hands free, Keigo caught her shoulder to press it tightly to his mouth when she tortuously dragged her hand down his length.

"But I don't know where they are–"

"Stop whining, you goddamn nerd!"

Their voices fading had Sakura increasing the pace mercilessly, biting back a grin of approval at the way Keigo dug his fingers into her shoulder, the catching of his breath disturbed by his short noise of pleasure.

"What would you like me to do?" she whispered seductively into his ear.

"Anything," he groaned needily, releasing her shoulder for her hair.

Just to torment him further, Sakura slowly came to a halt in her ministrations and looked to him teasingly, asking with a smirk, "Anything?"

Keigo bucked his hips into her still hand though proved it to be pointless when she didn't budge. "Anything but stop."

Humming, she pressed a single kiss to his jaw, then one to his neck and suckling softly on what she knew to be a sensitive area to him. The next kiss was placed to his collarbone, eyes briefly meeting his to share her intentions before Sakura lowered herself to her knees, the final kiss before reaching her destination pressing to the defined V of his hips.

"How about this?" she enquired sinfully, glancing up at him while popping open his pants suggestively. "Can I do this?"

"I'd give anything," Keigo vowed.

Emboldened, Sakura wasted no time focusing her entire attention on his cock, her tongue determined and eager, head bobbing determinedly once she had him in her mouth.

"Ah, fuck–" came his broken groan.

He wound her hair around his fist, gripping it tightly more as something to hold onto than anything else as her pace grew sloppy. And she could tell from the deep moan and tightening of his balls that Keigo liked it when she looked up at him while worshipping his cock.

But a party was hardly a private setting and Sakura knew they didn't have much time before somebody else tried entering the bathroom. So she used all she'd come to learn about her hero and had him unravelling at the seams within mere minutes, her own hand soon twitching as it subconsciously attempted to alleviate her of the insistent throbbing of her own sex. Sakura ignored it the best she could, for right now, she wanted to focus solely on pleasing Keigo, on bringing him the otherworldly pleasure he continuously drowned her in.

"We need to go," Keigo insisted though contradicted himself by continuing to thrust into her eager mouth, his groans escaping through gritted teeth. "Someone's coming-"

She shoved him headfirst into a powerful orgasm with a combination of her needy moan, seductive gaze and playing with his balls, and Sakura swallowed all that he had to give, relishing in the bordering on painful pulling of her hair. Keigo shuddered against the sink, hips flexing and growling lowly when she pressed her mouth to the very base of his pulsating cock, the hallowing of her cheeks and contracting of her throat intensifying the climax for him.

"Oi, hurry up in there," came the obnoxious voice of her best friend, his knock loud and demanding and prompting her to quickly pull away from Keigo. "If you're shitting then you should've used the upstairs bathroom. There's the starting of a queue out here, y'know!"

For the most part, the winged hero was unperturbed by Naruto's intrusion or the knowledge of there now being a queue outside, though Sakura couldn't deny feeling concerned over somebody overhearing them despite the fact they'd kept the noise to a minimum.

It was after several moments longer that Keigo managed to right his clothing and breathing, smiling to her appreciatively and letting Sakura know she'd done a remarkable job of pleasing him – not that she'd been worried about failing.

"Let's escape out the window," he enticed. "We can spend the night at our cabin for extra privacy."

That… sounded perfect. The only downside, however, was leaving without saying her goodbyes to Naruto. "It'll hurt him if we don't say goodbye," she whispered, wary of being overheard.

"Oi," the blond demanded, pounding on the door. "You shouldn't ignore the host!"

Keigo raised a daring eyebrow.

Sakura's mind was made up at the repeated banging on the door and she told him, "We can just text him later and pretend like an assignment came up."

He had them out of there within seconds and Sakura breathed a sigh of relief upon realising they exited at the back of the building, especially when they paused outside the window so that Keigo could unlock the door with a feather that was quick to follow them outside, allowing Sakura to slide the window shut just in time for Naruto to finally lose his temper and burst inside with an impatient shoulder barge, apparently not realising it was no longer locked.

"Wait, why was it locked when there's no one here?" she heard him murmur in palpable confusion. But then Naruto immediately crouched and covered the vital points of his head and neck, eyes wide and scared, forcing them to disappear completely before Sakura's intense laughter at his genuine fear gave them away. "A-A ghost?"

A/N - It genuinely makes me so happy knowing there's others who love HawksSaku too! Thank you everyone who reviewed the first part to this (Let's Build a Fire)! I've done my best to reply to people, but we're all going off roughly 2-5 hours of sleep at the minute for the last month and my social battery is so low haha. Hopefully I can start to get back to you all sooner rather than later!

Also just wanted to add this, because we've all done it in the past and there's no way to really prevent minors from reading explicit content, I just want to put this here for those of you who may still be learning about that side of yourselves, or may be impressionable:

Please, please, please take your sexual health seriously. Not using condoms like these two do in this one-shot is extremely risky and not recommended. Also, make sure you get tested often (preferably before and after each partner), as many STIs can have no symptoms for the longest time.

Sorry for being such a mum hahah. Aside from that, I hope you all enjoyed this!
