Hello, guys! Just got back from watching "Venom: Let There Be Carnage", and so that's in the box.
I know I said I was hoping to get the first story done before it came out, but you know, life get's in the way of progress sometimes. It's kind of sad on my part, three years and I'm still not done with the first movie :(
But rest assured, I intend to see it through until the end, and get a little quicker with the progress.
However, things might go a little slow nowadays. I am currently interning at a hospital, so it demands a lot from me nowadays until Christmas.
I'm also currently in the process of editing and rewriting through the entire Parasitic story, all the chapters, which is a lot. As I read through it, I realize that a lot of it is inconsistent and not to mention nonsensical, so I'll be dealing with a lot of those things.
The edits I make mostly have to do with grammar, amongst other things, as well as the characters and phrasing. Not gonna lie, I can see that some of my earlier writing is crap and too detailed for comfort, so I'll deal with that too.
Another thing I'm going to remedy is Evelyn's characterisation. Although she's still going to be the cold, cynical person she is, I've decided to make her more... human. In the earlier chapters, I realize I made her too much of a machine. So, I'm going to put a bit more emphasis on the fact that she's still human, too the bitter core.
So, things might go a bit slow now (*cough* more than usual *cough*), but I hope it will be worth it. No matter, the story will continue all the way through Venom and LTBC.
Now, I still want to thank all of you for following this through up until now. Even despite how disoriented some/most of it was/is, you saw it through, and I'll always be grateful.
