So the forbidden forest! which is a giant fucking wild den having many many rare Pokemon..we have the next Pokemon the team is going to capture and to find out what is happening to those little flames! I hope you all enjoy please leave a comment!
"Good afternoon class," Coach Hooch calls to them as she walks onto the field. The woman was slightly older with pure white hair and yellow eyes. Next to her was Professor Flitwick who was holding a case.
"Now class..I have taught you how to keep yourself hidden in the long grass..how to dodge attacks from wild Pokemon. How to catch and make snares for food..I have taught you how to survive," she walks between the lines, Survival Class was the only class where all four houses take at the same time just divided by years.
"Today..me and Professor Flitwick will be teaching you about Dynamaxing," she fights the urge to roll her eyes at the excited whispers. Ever since Minister Rose made Dynamaxing a thing in Gym battles the kids could only think of Dynamaxing as a cool thing. She rubs her shoulder where her prosthetic connects to it. She remembers during the war..the energy that leaked through because of the fights..the horror of a Pokemon Dynamaxing in a town and it having the Gigamax strain becoming even worse..
"Calm down!" she snaps her yellow eyes foggy from memories, "This isn't a game! Unlike battles with regular wild Pokemon this is much more dangerous. You can not run away, you will have to fight until the very end so make sure you chose a Pokemon that your Pokemon and team can handle,"
Aria listens to this as she stands next to Piers and Daphne. Even she couldn't help but be excited for going into the Dens for Dynamx battles, even though its a new thing since Minister Rose implemented it into Gym battles five years ago.
She takes the Dynamax band that Professor Flitwich was passing out. The band was shockley soft with a computer screen in the middle. Slipping it on, she looks up when Malfoy sneers, "Why won't it turn on? Are you giving out faulty bands?"
"No Mr. Malfoy," Coach Hooch sighs, "It just doesn't have any Dynamax particles right now..which is why you are going into the Forbidden Forest,"
More whispers went through the crowd. The Forbidden Forest was called that for many reasons. One it held many powerful Pokemon, some students were sure they saw a Steelix or even an Electrive wandering was rumours that the Daughter of Ravenclaw fled into the forest and was killed, since she was never seen again..which made it seem like a dark forest..another umour on why it was felt so dark was the a king that even those who practiced magic respected was killed there.
But what really made it forbidden was the Dynamax Den. The forest had so many in them for some reason and so the school has made it forbidden to enter unless you have permission..like now.
"But aren't there..really powerful creatures in the forest..like Obstagoons?" Aria blinks at the quiver of fear in his voice while Piers lean over to her.
"He's been afraid of Obstagoons since we were little..have no reason why," he then smiles and Aria giggles as she watches him pet Zigzagoon.
"Malfoy better watch out or Piers may sic Zigzagoon on him when he finally evolves into his final form,"
"Yes but that is why not only I or Professor Flitwick shall be coming but also Hagrid who knows the forest as the back of his hand and then the Security Guard, Mr. Filch will also keep an eye out.."
Everyone turned to stare at the Security Guard who was softly petting his Delcatty, Mrs. Norris, "If you think of going farther than what you are allowed..you'll be hanging by your toes when I'm done with yah!"
Coach Hooch rolls her eyes at the man, wondering why, like everyone else wonders, Dumbledore keeps the man, "Now we will be opening the gates soon, Professor Flitwick has been kind enough to give you a list of the Pokemon in the dens that you are able to enter..be smart..and be safe.."
Aria watches as Coach Hooch goes Filch to scold him for threatening the children. Aria then turns her head to watch Hagrid walk around, Norberta following at his heels. Everyone was staring at him in awe at the sight of the baby fossil Pokemon but she heard Ron muttering while holding his hand. They had been helping Hagrid with the baby so he could still do his duties as Gamekeeper.
Aria thought it quite fun, Norberta really liked to play with her and Hedwig, but sometimes the Tyrunt played too rough and had no control over her egg move. Norberta had bitten Ron on the hand by accident while playing tug-o-war.
"You're just still mad that Hagrid scolded you for playing too roughly," Raihan smirks which made Ron glare at him and lightly push him.
"I still think Hagrid is going crazy..you think she was a fluffy Buneary with the way he goes on about her. Even after Madam Joy healed it I still can't hold the pen right.."
"Buneary are actually hard Pokemon to train," Hermione says pulling up from the list that was downloaded into their Rotom Phones, "When you catch one, its friendship level is 0..making it a very hard Pokemon to not only to train but to evolve since it evolves by friendship,"
"Let me guess..you want a Buneary?" Ron groans at the smile Hermione gave him. Leon shakes his head and turns to the Ravenclaw.
"So do you know what Pokemon we might find?"
Hermione smiles happily to help and give out information, "So in the Dens in the Forbidden Forest there's a lot of Pokemon we can choose from..Buneary," she smiles at the groan Ron lets out, "there is also Sewaddle.." Ron looks up in interest, "Growlithe, Magby, Frillish, Honedge," Leon looks interested in that one, "Gulpin, Seviper, Applin," Neville looks up while Deliah was in his arms and Trevor stood by his legs keeping watch, "Scraggy, Zangoose and there's many more but..oh there's two rare Pokemon..Larvitar and Goomy.."
Aria looks up while Raihan gasps. Ever since she watched the first Godzilla movie she learned about a lot of it. Gemma said she was really getting into the Godzilla fandom..whatever that meant. But she had learned that the King of Monsters was actually based on Tyranitar..which was the final evolution of Larvitar…
"Goomy! There's an actual Dechraul Goomy there?!" Raihan was jumping up and down his fangs showing from his smile. "Goomy is a good beginning dragon type..and a Pseudo Legendary.."
"Yeah but Goomy is the weakest dragon type ever," the others turn to see Malfoy sneering at them with Pansy besides him and Crabbe and Goyle behind them. Aria was now seeing the second Pokemon they had caught. Unlike most other Trainers in Slytherin, Crabbe and Goyle kept their Pokemon in their Pokeballs most of the time..Goyle had a Slugma, whose lava was dripping down its body while Crabbe's Hawlucha was preening his feathers.
"Its not the only weakness Dragon type..Dreepy and Applin are too," Hermione mutters.
"Goomy may be weak but once it's in its final form, Goodra, its defense is really high.." Raihan smirks at Malfoy, "Goodra can take a lot of hits,"
Malfoy snorts, "That is if you can train it well enough for it to evolve," he eyes Aria and Piers who glares at him and he shuffles away.
"He's going to be a problem," Piers said, putting his hands in his pockets.
"Unfortunately," Aria mutters before her attention is pulled away to the large gates of the Forbidden Forest begin to open. Aria had to take a step back as a great feeling began to fill her..it felt just like when she entered Fluffy's room.
Staring at the forest ahead, covered in the reddish pink light of Dynamax energy that erupted from the many dens, which sparkled making it look like the forest was lined with starlight. Aria slowly entered it, not noticing that her green eyes which darted back and forth to take everything in, was slowly turning into the gold they turn into when she used her Aura.
It felt more natural..a river cut a deep channel between two Dens, which were almost covered by long, green-brown, tufty grass and reeds. Further inside the rocky clearing became covered in undergrowth, vines wrapping around the den, the trees becoming more dense but very few had leaves, which rustled in the light breeze.
"Good luck," Coach Hooch calls to them and with that many of the first years begin to stampede into the forest. Aria runs too, almost tripping in the soft sand as she runs further into the forest. Filled with mighty oaks it didn't take long for her to lose the others..she pulls out her Rotom Phone and pulls up the map app, "So I'm in..Sky's Hollow…." she looked around the sandy clearing, Aria looked over her shoulder, her ears picking up every sigh of the wing, every cracking twig..
She then looks up when she hears a scream, grabbing Hedwig's Pokeball from her belt and she hides behind the tree. Running frantically through the dense trees was a ball of flames. Aria had to blink her eyes to make sure she was seeing things right. It had three tentacles making it not a ball but a squid made of flames. Its one eye was widened in fear as leaves were shot towards it and began to encircle it, trapping the little flame.
"Leaf Tornado?"
Stepping out of the shadows, a large Shiftry walks forward. Its eyes were yellow, but Aria gasps when she could see the purple aura that danced off in waves. "A Shadow Pokemon…" she clutches Hedwig's Pokeball as she watches the Shiftry slowly walk over, seemingly liking the little whimpers coming from the flame.
Aria sighs, before she holds out her hand, "Come on..please work.." she grins as a ball of aura appears in her hand. She frowns when it flickers but she shrugs, "It will do.."
Shiftry was about to grab the flame with his leaf hands when he hears an explosion, looking up to find the cause..
"Sorry, I won't bring it back, thank you!" Aria says as she grabs the flame into her arms and runs.
Aria winces when Shiftry gives out a bellow, "he's chasing us is he?" the white-eye flame nods its head and makes a whimpering sound, "It's ok..I won't let him hurt you.." she yelps when blades made of the dark purple aura almost hits her, "You know I would really love a normal day of actually catching a Pokemon.." she then blinks and shudders, "Great I'm sounding like the Dursleys…"
She keeps running, jumping over the roots before she throws Hedwig's Pokeball into the air, "Hedwig! Gust! Try to slow Shiftry down!"
"Noi!" Hedwig flaps her wings, sending brilliant gust of winds, but to Aria's dismay it did nothing.
"Great.." Aria nutters before she screams, "Bad day, bad day, bad day!" she jumps over the Razor Leafs that were trying to hit her. Not knowing where she was going she just keeps running when she runs face first into a pink wall.. "Ow.." she looks up at the Dynamax Den that she had run into without knowing. She slowly gets up just as Shiftry leaps in front of her and growls. Aria clutches the flame tighter in her arms while Hedwig flies over and growls, standing between her trainer and the Shadow Pokemon…
"Lar!" the Dynamax energy builds up more and both Aria, the flame, Hedwig and Shiftry turn to see a Dynamax Larvitar glaring down at them.
Aria looks up, "Dechraul..I know I wanted a Larvitar..but why with my luck?" She then screams and runs as the earth begins to shake as Larvitar jumps into the air and lands on the ground, causing a giant stone slab to rise. At the same time, sand begins to kick in, making Aria pull out her Go-Goggles and putting them on so she can see.
Aria runs just as the slab was falling, cursing very loudly and even more when the Shiftry still tried to attack her. The little flame looks up at her before looking at her Dynamax Band. It narrows its eye at it with determination and jumps into the screen.
Panting she stares in shock as the Dynamx band flashes before turning on. "I have no idea what you just did..but please let this work.." she returns Hedwig into her Pokeball and grips it tightly. Pink Energy rises from the band and encircles the Pokeball before it enlarges, "Well..that's good!" she grunts and throws the ball high into the air.
Aria covers her ears at the roar that Hedwig let out once she was released, the small Pokemon was now huge, covered in the aura of Dynamx. "Hedwig!" she cries out, "Max Air Stream!" She runs as both the Shiftry tries to attack her and the Larvitar almost steps on her.
"Rawr!" Hedwig cries out and flaps her wings forming a large tornado. It hardly did anything to the Larvitar but to the Shadow Shiftry..it sent it flying right into the wall. Seeing that the Shiftry won't be getting up for a while she turns her attention to the Larvitar which was now glaring at her.
Aria couldn't help but stare in awe at the Larvitar. She could see how Godzilla was based on this line.."Hedwig! Max Darkness!" Hedwig opens her mouth releasing a massive burst of the dark energy," It knocks into Larvitar making it stubble before it begins to dig itself into the ground. Aria climbs into the tree as Larvitar uses Max Quake and while it didn't affect Hedwig (for she was a flying type) it did affect Aria.
"Hedwig use Max Air Stream one more time!" she calls out while getting a Pokeball ready, "I hope this works…" she mutters as the tornado hits Larvitar. The Pokeball now enlarged into a pink Pokeball was thrown at Larvitar as it stumbled. She watches as it opens and pulls the Pokemon inside before it falls to the ground. She watches as it shakes once..twice and a third time before it shrinks, returning into a regular Pokeball. Climbing down as the pink walls of the Dynamx Den fades, Aria sighs, wiping at her head. Hedwig was returning back to her regular size as Aria climbs down from the tree and was going to go after the Pokeball when Hedwig cries out.
She turns to see the Shiftry had gotten back up and is now pinning the Noibat to the ground, Aria hand goes to Nimbus' Pokeball when great pain begins to come from her scar. It was a pain she never felt before, worse than the pain she felt during the cold months. Coming out of the shadows was a hooded figure. While she couldn't see their face she could see that they were wearing a sort of silver armor along with red bandages around their arms. Aria limps, staggering backwards as the figure pulls out a Pokeball..
The pain was so bad at this point that she fell down onto her but and she tries to scramble backwards..she wanted to go get Hedwig..Nimbus..or even pull out Larvitar's Pokeball but all she could do was feel the pain that was erupting from her scar..
"Awwwwwwoooooooo!"
Leon looks up hearing the howl as he captures the Dynamax Honedge thanks to Charmander. He looks around as the energy wall disappears, to be replaced by a thick fog.
"Char?" Leon looks down even as he grabs the Pokeball tightly in his hands.
"I don't know what's going on buddy but I don't think I.." he stops at the sight of the huge wolf-like creature that appeared suddenly. It's magenta and blue fur was thick and seemed to be pulled together by the ponytail on its head. Leon could see that it had many battle scars and part of its right ear was missing..
Charmander growls standing in front of the wolf and throws embers at it but to Leon's amazement not only did the Pokemon not flinch but the attack just went through.
"What in the.." Leon stills when the wolf's golden eyes stares at him.
"Will you be ready..to take the mantle...of the Fighting Master?"
Leon stares with wide eyes at the words that echo in his head..but he blinks when the wolf brings out a huge howl which makes the fog even thicker. He opens his eyes now knowing when he blinked and was surprised to see that the wolf was now gone..it was only him and Charmander now..
"Ok..what just happen.." Leon asked and Charmander shrugs before he face palms at what his trainer said next, "And..are we lost now?"
Pawsteps were heard behind her before a large cyan blurr leapt over her, she heard growls of anger and cries of pain coming from the Shiftry and the figure. She looks down at her arms when Hedwig flies over. Holding the Noibat closely she looks up, not noticing the flame coming out of the Dynamax band to see the wolf looking at her.
The figure and Shiftry were gone, but the cyan wolf was there, staring at her with golden eyes. Through the pain (her head was still bloody hurting..mostly her face) she could blurry see pink braids that matches the two pink fringes on its back. Aria notices that besides the scars, it was also missing a part of its left ear.
Aria cradles Hedwig and the Flame tighter to her and scoots backwards which made the wolf moan a mournful howl, "Do not fear child of my Fairy King..I will never hurt you,"
"The sword is correct..she would never hurt you,"
Aria blinks, which somehow makes the wolf disappear and she turns to see a woman wearing a red dress with a black cloak over it. She slowly walked over to Aria and holds out her hand, helping Aria up, "Are you alright?"
Aria nods her head, "Yes..what..who was that..and why was the Shiftry trying to go after this little one,"
The woman smiles and kneels down, "In time you will know who the sword is I promise..but the person with the Shiftry is part of Cipher,"
Aria blinks, "Cipher? You mean the team that was in Orre? I thought they were.." the woman shakes her head.
"Cipher has been around far longer than when Grindelwald was in charge. It was founded by a group of people who were on the side of the Demon Gods,"
"What..but from what I heard humans were treated horribly by them," Aria said to the woman looking at the woman with her golden eyes. She doesn't speak but stands up and gently takes Aria's hand and begins to walk through the forest.
"There weren't humans back then though..they were Demigods..the children of the Gods themselves. Even with the human blood running through their veins they were treated much better than their human parents and wanted to keep their parents in rule. When the Deathly Hallows sealed the Eight Demons Gods up they vowed that one day they will release the Gods and take back their kingdoms...and to take their revenge on the descendants of the subjects that revolted against them..even Voldemort was a part of the team,"
"Wait what?!" Aria cries out, "But I was told that he was the Leader of Neidr!"
"That was just a front..a way for him to do what he was told..all the places he attack..all the blood he spilled..it was his way of trying to weaken the seals.." the woman explains to the girl, "And even with his death and the fall of his team..Cipher stood..using the team as a way to recover from their defeat from Wes..the reason why they were in Orre was because the place was already a lawless Region..they were trying to build up their army…"
"But why here? This is just part of the school," Aria asked while Hedwig crawled onto her shoulder and the little flame danced around.
"Because of the Wisps," said the woman waving her hand to the little flame, "Or Will O' Wisp as is their full term..they are spiritual ethereal beings made of past lives and the Dynamax energy that flows through Galar. Their energy which serves as their life force can be utilized for several purposes..even can be used to power up an item that is already powerful..that can be use to break through a seal.." the woman turns to her with a knowing look.
"The Cup of Life.." Aria whispers and the woman nods her head but then she looks up as she hears voices, "This is where I leave you now Aria Potter..the Gods have their eyes on you..take care of those you trust," Confused Aria watches as the woman walks back into the shadows. She looked at the little Wisp that was now flying around her head..
"So are you going to go back to the For-" she didn't even finish as the Wisp dived back into the Dynamx Bnd with a beep.. "Okay..I guess I not only have a Larvitar but a Wisp now," she sighs looking at the Pokeball that now held Larvitar.
"Godzilla..I am calling you Godzilla," she states, trying to calm her nerves after hearing talks about seals, Cipher and Demon Gods..and a Sword Wolf..shivering she followed the voice of Hagrid calling out to those that time was off.
The woman was about to walk into a lake when she heard a voice called out, "What have you been doing Lady of the Lake? What were you saying to the Potter girl?"
The woman sighs and turns to see another cloak figure, holding a staff which held a blue gear on top, "What I have been doing is my own business none of yours..or your council,"
Even though she could not see the face she knew that the man was glaring at her, "We all sworn to not mess with the likes of mortals..you were already in trouble with speaking to the Emerys all those years ago when you took the vow.."
"And if I had not then all of Galar would have been destroyed! You and the Council agree to that Dia!"
The man takes off the hood of his cloak, revealing his blue hair and skin that was an umber, dark-yellow brown. His red eyes stare at her, giving her a glare, "I know you have read the signs Freya..the time has come and the Council don't know what to think of the girl..her decision when the time comes may bring all the Regions to ruin..some even think that the girl should die before her choice can be made,"
Freya rolls her eyes, "You know that your father will not let that happen..if the Council wants to survive they have to let Aria make her choice.."
"And what if that choice is wrong?" The man known as Dia rumbles, silver lines appearing on his skin..for a moment he had turned into a child, before turning into an old man and finally returning to his regular age.
"And then it's the Regions' fault, not the girl's.."Freya states before she walks into the water, slowly submerging into it, "I suggest you watch how you act around the child,"
Aria your life sucks I'm sorry..and its only to get worse in later years! Honestly couldn't figure out a name so I just went with his. We got Freya the Lady of the Lake (I know that it was nimueh who is the lady of the lake in legedns but in the Merlin series it was Freya..and I like her!) and now we have Godzilla the Larvitar on the team..don't at me you should all have known sooner or later Aria was going to have a Larvitar..I have mention Godzilla in thos fic so many times it shouldn't be a surprise.
