Yo this will be the first story ever on fanfic so please review and let me know what needs to improve in a constructive way and not bashing. I will also be using various mods for Skyrim when it comes to stuff like weapons, armour and character designs/looks. I will also be including some characters from other elder scrolls games. I will also be changing the lore where needed to better fit the story.

Chapter 1
Unbound
Blue Eyes cracked open, the light pierced his eyes briefly blinding him before his vision started to clear. He could distinctly hear the sound horses and the cart being pulled on a cobbled road. As his vision cleared, he heard a voice call out to him
"Hey, you. You're finally awake. You were trying to cross the border, right? Walked right into that Imperial ambush, same as us, and that thief over there." Called out the gruff voice,
"wha-what" Naruto spoke, his throat feeling parched from not having had water. He looked to see who had spoken to him, seeing himself on a cart with three other strangers. The one across from him was a Nord man with long dirty blonde hair falling to his shoulders with the right side of his hair having been put in a small braid, he had a beard and steel blue eyes with the build of a soldier. Naruto could see he was wearing a Stormcloak uniform, clearly a member of the rebellion. "Where am I? What happened" Naruto said.
The blonde Nord across from him spoke again "you were trying to cross the border weren't you, well you ran right into an imperial ambush same as us and that horse thief over their" Naruto turned to the person indicated by the Nord seeing another Nord this one with a dirtied face, slicked back brown hair.
"Damn you Stormcloaks. Skyrim was fine until you came along. The Empire was nice and lazy. If they hadn't been looking for you, I could've stolen that horse and been halfway to Hammerfell. You there... You and me, we shouldn't be here. It's these Stormcloaks the Empire wants." the man spoke,
"We're all brothers and sisters in binds now, thief." Replied the blonde-haired Nord.
"Shut up back there!" shouted the imperial soldier driving the cart.
Naruto sighed leaning back against the cart wondering where everything had gone wrong. He had wanted to come to Skyrim seeking to take advantage of the civil war situation by working as Mercenary but now the situation dawned on him. He was most likely headed to the executioner's block never to experience the adventure he craved and never having the chance to experience his father's homeland that had crafted the man into the warrior that he remembered man to be.
"And what's wrong with him, huh?" Naruto heard the horse thief say, turning to where the man indicated, finally noticing he was sitting next to someone else.
"Watch your tongue. You're speaking to Ulfric Stormcloak, the true High King." Yelled the blonde-haired Nord angrily. Naruto turned to look upon the man that had started this civil war in the first place, The Legendary Ulfric Stormcloak. He was tall even for a Nord and had Blonde Hair with light brown eyes and a small beard. His mouth covered by a rag clearly put in place to stop him from using the power of the voice. 'So, this is the legendary Ulfric Stormcloaks, if they have him then they're definitely going to execute us' Naruto thought.
"Ulfric? The Jarl of Windhelm? You're the leader of the rebellion. But if they've captured you... Oh gods, where are they taking us?" cried the horse thief whose name Naruto still didn't know.
"I don't know where we're going, but Sovngarde awaits." Stated the blonde-haired Nord. "I'm Ralof of Riverwood, what your name stranger" asked the blonde-haired Nord turning to Naruto
"Naruto, Naruto of Kvatch" told Naruto,
"That's a strange name, never heard a Nord named that before and you're a long way from Kvatch" stated Ralof.
"My Mother gave it to me, she wasn't a Nord like my father, and I came to Skyrim to make a name for myself, become a sword for hire" Replied Naruto.
"General Tullius, sir! The headsman is waiting!" they heard an imperial soldier shout, by now they had approached the town of Helgen. Its walls were garrisoned by imperial soldiers and an imperial tower and Keep stretched above the rest of the buildings in the town.
"Look at him, General Tullius, the Military Governor. And it looks like the Thalmor are with him. Damn elves. I bet they had something to do with this. This is Helgen. I used to be sweet on a girl from here. Wonder if Vilod is still making that mead with juniper berries mixed in. Funny, when I was a boy, Imperial walls and towers used to make me feel so safe." Stated Ralof clearly distrustful of any elves, especially Thalmor.
Naruto looked over to where the General was and could see a group of Thalmor speaking with General Tullius. It seemed they were arguing over something from what Naruto could gather. The cart continued until it stopped in the courtyard where the imperial tower was located surrounded by the houses of the villagers. Naruto could see a large imperial garrison was placed here clearly not wanting Ulfric or the Stormcloaks to escape. As the cart stopped the prisoners on the other carts started to get off.
"Why are we stopping?" cried the horse thief
"Why do you think? End of the line. Let's go. Shouldn't keep the gods waiting for us." Stated Ralof clearly annoyed with the horse thief's whining at this point.
"Step towards the block when we call your name. One at a time." Stated an imperial captain, Naruto had seen her type before having briefly worked with some imperial soldiers on contracted jobs and around the garrisons of Kvatch, she was clearly a hardass who only wanted to get promoted. The four started to get off the cart and were faced by the imperial captain and another Nord. This one had brown slicked back hair and brown eyes and the build of an imperial legionnaire. "Step towards the block when we call your name. One at a time." Stated the captain.
"Ulfric Stormcloak. Jarl of Windhelm." The soldier called out
"It has been an honour, Jarl Ulfric!" Ralof spoke.
"Ralof of Riverwood" Ralof moved and stood next to Ulfric.
"Lokir of Rorikstead." Stated the soldier
"No, I'm not a rebel. You can't do this!" cried the horse thief and started to run towards the gate they had come through.
"Halt" shouted the imperial captain trying to get Lokir to stop. "Archers" Commanded the imperial captain. The imperial archers took aim and shot the horse thief down. 'Fool, at least his whining will end' thought Naruto.
"Wait you're not on the list, who are you" stated the soldier.
"My name is Naruto of Kvatch, I was crossing the border when I got caught in the ambush, I'm not a part of this rebellion" stated Naruto clearly wanting to see if he could talk his way out of at least avoiding execution.
"Captain what do we do, He's not on the list" stated the soldier.
"Forget the list. He goes to the block." Stated the captain,
"By your orders captain, Sorry prisoner at least you'll be here in your homeland" stated the soldier. 'Bitch' Naruto thought angrily at the imperial captain's cold heartedness.
Naruto moved towards the Block standing next to Ralof and the other prisoners. General Tullius moved and stood in front of Ulfric, "Ulfric Stormcloak. Some here in Helgen call you a hero. But a hero doesn't use a power like The Voice to murder his king and usurp his throne." Stated Tullius. Ulfric grunted a few muffled words to Tullius, maybe trying to call on the Voice but the cloth in his mouth did its job in preventing him from using it. "You started this war, plunged Skyrim into chaos, and now the Empire is going to put you down, and restore the peace." Tullius shouted.
A large ear-piercing roar rang out from the sky and into the village gaining the attention of everyone present.
"What was that" exclaimed the soldier with the list,
"It was nothing. Carry on" stated Tullius clearly wanting to end this quickly.
"Yes, General Tullius, Give them their last rites." Stated the imperial captain.
A Priestess of Arkay stepped forward to give the last rites to the prisoners. "As we commend your souls to Aetherius, blessings of the Eight Divines upon you, for you are the salt and earth of Nirn, our beloved..."
"For the love of Talos, shut up and let's get this over with." Began the priestess before being interrupted by a Stormcloak soldier who was getting impatient at this Point.
"As you wish." Stated the Priestess.
The soldier was then shoved down to the block by the Imperial Captain. The Stormcloak is then beheaded by the executioner. The Imperial Captain then shoves his lifeless body off to the side of the chopping block. Shouts of Anger came from the Stormcloaks having witnessed their comrade get executed.
"Next the Blonde in the rags" stated the Imperial Captain.
'Looks this is it' thought Naruto thinking back on his life so far having travelled all this way just to get captured and executed. Another roar rang out same as before
"There it is again" said the soldier with the list.
"I said next prisoner," shouted the captain.
Naruto moved to the block before being pushed down with his head staring at the headsmen about to execute him. As the executioner was preparing to execute him another third roar rang out before a large dragon appeared. The dragon was massive in size with its scales as black as the night and Burning Red menacing eyes that looked like they could pierce a man with just their stare. The dragon dove down and landed on the tower behind the executioner and let out a howling shout. "Fus Ro Dah" Naruto felt he heard the dragon exclaim, sending forth a powerful force of energy knocking the headsmen off his feet and preventing him from executing the blonde. Naruto was knocked off the chopping block with his vision and hearing having been blurred.
"Hey Kinsman, Get up! Come on, the gods won't give us another chance!" shouted Ralof trying to get Naruto's attention.
Naruto raced to his feet and ran towards Ralof as everything erupted into chaos.
"This Way, come on" Ralof spoke, ushering Naruto and the other Stormcloaks into the tower and closing the door behind them. "Jarl Ulfric! What is that thing? Could the legends be true?" Said Ralof to Ulfric who by now had his arms free and had the gag removed from his mouth now being able to speak.
"Legends don't burn down villages." Said Ulfric with a deep booming voice. "We need to move. Now! Up the Tower" Said Ulfric.
Naruto looked around for anything he could use to free him from the bindings but did not find anything he could use, deciding to deal with them later Naruto Moved up the tower seeing from Stormcloaks clearing the rocks that had collapsed on the stairs. Just as he was going to move forward further up the tower Naruto saw the dragon burst through the side of the wall before opening its large maw and spewing forth a red-hot Burst of fire incinerating the Stormcloaks that were clearing the way before flying off again.
"See the inn on the other side? Jump through the roof and keep going! Go! We'll follow when we can!" said Ralof to Naruto,
Naruto looked across and could see the burning inn. Deciding there was no other way of escape, Naruto leapt across and rolled on to the second floor of the inn. Seeing that the building wouldn't last long with it being on fire, Naruto saw the small hole on the floor on the second floor before jumping down and landing on the ground floor. He made his way out through the door of the building before seeing the soldier that had been carrying the list at the executioner's block trying to convince a boy to come to safety but in turn leave his father to perish in the fire.
"Haming, you need to get over here. Now! That a boy. You're doing great. Torolf! Gods... Everyone get back!" shouted the Soldier with the boy having now moved to safety as the Dragon swept down and using his fire breath burned the boy's father alive.
Naruto quickly followed the soldier behind a destroyed building to hide from the dragon. "I see your still alive Naruto" said the soldier,
"Yeah, I am, no thanks to you guys trying to lop my head off," Naruto replied snarkily to the soldier. "Apologies about that, if it were up to me, you would have been let go, the name is Hadvar" Replied the now named Hadvar.
Naruto merely nodded before asking "Can you use your sword to remove these bindings" asked Naruto, Hadvar thought for a moment before deciding to cut him free.
"Thanks" said Naruto, relieved that he could now freely use his hands.
"Come on let's get moving, I have to find General Tullius and join the defences, Gunnar, take care of the boy" stated Hadvar before moving towards some destroyed buildings.
Without any weapons to defend himself and being surrounded by imperials Naruto decided to follow Hadvar at least until he could slip away quietly. As they got close to the wall the Dragon landed above the wall, quickly sticking close to the wall they were able to avoid its fire breath as it let loose destroying the buildings around them. The dragon then flew off again towards the other part of the town.
"Follow me" said Hadvar,
Naruto followed him. As they moved forward in the town they came upon a keep with imperial and the remaining Stormcloak soldiers entering inside it. They then heard Tullius's voice
"Hadvar! Into the keep, soldier, we're leaving!" shouted Tullius, Hadvar quickly listened.
"Come on, follow me," Hadvar stated to Naruto.
Naruto quickly followed behind before they were stopped by Ralof who had come from the opposite direction and stood in front of them barring the way.
"Ralof! You damned traitor. Out of my way!" shouted Hadvar,
"We're escaping, Hadvar. You're not stopping us this time." Replied Ralof angrily.
"Fine. I hope that dragon takes you all to Sovngarde." Said Hadvar before moving towards the far entrance to the keep,
"Follow me," said Ralof to Naruto before entering through the entrance in front of them.
"Over Here" Naruto Heard Hadvar shout before he entered through the far entrance to the keep.
Naruto thought on who to follow before Deciding to go with Ralof as the Stormcloaks hadn't been the ones to try to cut his head off. Naruto moved to the entrance Ralof had gone through and entered inside. He could see Ralof kneeling in front of a Stormcloak soldier who was dead. Ralof got up before turning around and speaking to Naruto,
"Take his gear, it's not like he will be needing it" Said Ralof.
Naruto moved to the soldier's body and proceeded to take his gear. Equipping the gear Naruto found it fit him well enough and would provide him with adequate protection against most normal weapons before grabbing the soldier's axe and practicing a few swings with it to get used to its weight.
"An axe isn't really my type of weapon, but it will do" stated Naruto,
"I'll see if I can get the door open," Ralof said before moving towards the door on the far-right side of the room.
Naruto looked around the room for any other entrances before he heard the sound of metal clanking and footsteps.
"Someone's Coming" Naruto said to Ralof before moving to the wall where the large wooden gate was located on the left side of the room where he had heard the noises coming from.
Naruto hid next to the wooden gate up close to the wall with Ralof taking the other side of the gate. As they waited for whoever it was to make their way through the gate Naruto called upon the Magicka within him as he was taught to by his mother, as Naruto called upon his magic, he felt his left hand grow warm before seeing a small flame dance in the palm of his hand. Before he could stare too long into the flame, he heard the wooden gate start to open and focussed his attention back on whoever it was coming through the gate.
With Naruto and Ralof hidden next to the wall the two Imperial soldiers and the captain did not see them and started to enter the room. As soon as they entered the room Naruto and Ralof leapt with a roar and attacked with the two soldiers and the captain caught off guard. Naruto threw the flame in his hand forward causing a stream of fire to erupt from his hand shooting forward and hitting the imperial soldier catching him on fire and causing him to start to burn.
"aghhhh" cried the burning soldier as he kept being hit by the stream of fire from Naruto's palm before burning to death.
Seeing the soldier collapse Naruto stopped the stream of fire from his palm, just as he did the imperial captain roared and charged forward towards Naruto sword in the air attempting to slash him down. Naruto quickly maneuvered his feet into the correct stance. As the captain's sword came towards in downward slash Naruto could see she had not taken the to adjust her feet properly so he side stepped her slash, with her now overextending her arm Naruto brought down his axe on the unprotected portion of her elbow with the axe head digging into her flesh and slicing her arm below the elbow clean off.
The captain let out a pained screech with her sword fighting arm now disarmed. Naruto quickly moved back in front of her before bringing his axe up and into a downward strike hitting her in the exposed part of her neck not covered by her armour and slicing right through her neck. Naruto looked up to see Ralof had defeated the other imperial soldier.
Naruto grabbed the captain's sword and tied the sheath around his belt before starting to remove the armour from the captain.
"What are you doing?" asked Ralof, confused as to why the blonde was removing the armour from the soldier.
"You may be a part of the rebellion, but I got caught up in this mess through no fault of my own, So I am taking anything I can sell or find useful" said Naruto having now removed the captain's armour.
"And how are you going to carry all that around with you?" said Ralof, confused as to how the blonde would be able to carry all the armour with him.
Naruto smirked before lifting has arm and pointing to a rune that had appeared on his left arm,
"Storage Runes, my mother used them all the time and taught me how to use them as well" replied Naruto before gathering all the armour he had collected from the soldiers and storing them in the runes on his arm.
"impressive" said Ralof.
"Let's get moving, we have to get out of here" said Naruto, grabbing the key off the captain before moving towards the door Ralof had tried to open. Using the key he had picked up from the captain Naruto opened the door and they made their way through. Coming to some stairs they made their way down and came to a hallway. They moved towards the hallway but before they could continue the Keep shock as if an earthquake had occurred while the dragon's roar could still be heard outside. The roof of the hallway collapsed stopping them from using that Pathway.
"Over Here" Ralof gestured to another door next to the hallway. They made their way into the room and saw two imperial soldiers standing with their back to them.
"We'll take them out quietly" stated Naruto before moving to the imperial soldier closest to him while Ralof took the other. Quietly unsheathing his sword Naruto crouched and moved slowly till he was behind the imperial soldier and then with a burst of speed he pounced taking the soldier by surprise and slicing his throat with his sword. Looking over to Ralof he saw that he had dealt with the other soldier having sliced his throat with a dagger.
"Let's have a look in these Barrels, they should have some useful potions," said Ralof. Naruto looked through the barrels and the room and found some Healing, Stamina and Magicka potions along with several alchemy ingredients, he had also found a few purses full of gold in total amounting to about 200 gold.
"I was able to get a few potions, come on let's continue," said Naruto.
They continued to the next room where they saw a Stormcloak and an imperial fighting. Naruto shot his hand forward releasing a stream of fire from his hand burning the imperial causing him to scream out in pain before Naruto lunged forward stabbed him straight through the gut killing him. Naruto looked around the room and saw it was a torture chamber and saw a couple of cages with some dead bodies inside.
"Here are some lockpicks, use them to get the door open" said Ralof handing the lockpicks over to Naruto who then went about opening them. While not the best at lockpicking these locks weren't the most difficult and he was able to easily open them. Inside he saw a dead mage with some gold and a Spellbook of Sparks. He pocketed the gold and placed the book inside his storage seals to learn the spell at a less chaotic time.
"Come on, let's keep moving," Naruto said to Ralof and the other Stormcloak soldiers.
They continued on their way going through several rooms filled with cages and cells all containing dead prisoners, Naruto grabbed as much gold that was in the rooms as possible before they came to a Natural cave where there looked to be some imperials and Stormcloaks soldiers that were fighting. Joining in on the fighting they were able to kill the last remnant of imperial soldiers. Naruto saw a longbow on one of the imperial archers and picked it up along with Several arrows and a quiver, Storing the arrows inside he made his way to where Ralof and the other Stormcloak soldiers were standing.
"Ralof, You and this one should continue forward, we'll wait for Jarl Ulfric and any others that make it through" Said one of the Stormcloak soldiers.
"Alright let's get moving then" said Ralof,
Naruto quickly followed behind. As they made their way through the caves, they came across some frostbite spiders but were able to deal with them easily. They then came across a large spider's nest with the entire place littered with spider webs. Just as they made it to the centre of the nest a Large Frostbite Spider Dropped down from the roof and landed in front of them. The spider launched its webs towards them, but they were able to dodge. Using his Magic Naruto launched a stream of fire towards the Spider causing it to start burning. Ralof then launched forward, slicing one the spider's legs before Naruto lunged forward in a thrust stabbing the spider in between where its eyes were located killing it instantly.
"Glad that thing is dead, I hate spiders," Said Ralof.
They then continued their way through the tunnels in the caves before coming across another Large Open cave. Before they could move forward, they stopped something at the other end of the cave.
"It's a bear, we can try to sneak past it," said Ralof.
Before he could move though Naruto had notched an arrow and drawn his bow, calming his Breath Naruto took aim and let loose, the arrow flew across the save and hit the Bear right in its Head killing it instantly.
"Or you could just shoot it," Said Ralof, both impressed and Amused. They then made their way past the bear and through the tunnel that finally led to the outside.
As they exited the cave the light from the sun shined down upon them but before they could bask in it, they heard the Monstrous Roar of the Dragon.
"Quick hide" said Ralof, scrambling to hide behind some large rocks next to the cave. Naruto quickly followed and hid behind the rocks. As they looked over the rocks, they saw the dragon fly off away from Helgen and into the distance again.
"It's Gone" said Naruto,
"Thank Shor we made it out of their alive" said Ralof, relieved that they had made it out alive.
"Do you know any towns or Villages nearby" asked Naruto wanting to find somewhere to rest and sell off some of the things he had picked up during their escape.
"The closest town is Riverwood where I was born, my sister runs a lumber mill there we can rest there if you would like to join, after all you did help me escape" Said Ralof.
"How far is it?" asked Naruto.
"It's a roughly two-to-three-day journey from here to Riverwood," Said Ralof, having travelled to Helgen before in his youth.
"Let's get moving then the faster we get there the quicker we can rest" said Naruto eager to rest after the chaotic journey he had so far. They set off on their way towards Riverwood.
A Day Later….
As the pair were walking, they had made to the white River the longest and largest river in all of Skyrim, as they got closer, they saw three upright stones with images carved into them one depicting a Mage, another a rogue and the final one a warrior, the stones were facing each other and had a hole in them. As Naruto approached the stones, he could feel powerful magic emanating from the stones.
"These are the Guardian Stones, three of the thirteen ancient standing stones that dot Skyrim's landscape. It's said they have great power, ``said Ralof.
As Naruto approached the stones, he saw the three stones light up and the images in the stones had lit up. The light from the stones approached Naruto briefly encompassing him before shooting up into the sky. Naruto's vision briefly darkened before a series of images flashed through his mind in quick succession before his vision returned to him. Naruto shook his head and cleared his eyes, "amazing I've never seen anybody gain all three stones blessings before, you are truly blessed for that to happen" spoke Ralof. Naruto merely grunted before speaking
"Come on, Let's get going," said Naruto, eager to get some rest in a proper bed.
It had taken them another day, but they had finally made it to the town of Riverwood by following the river. Naruto could see Riverwood was large for a town based around a lumber mill. He could see houses and buildings located on the edge of the river and up into the base of the largest mountain in Skyrim the Throat of the world as it was called. The town had its building made mostly of wood and he could see wooden battlements and defences built but no stone, if a dragon were to attack everything would burn. He then saw the large lumber mill and could see it was being used right now to cut the wood with its large Saw that was located.
"Come on, let's go to my sisters we can rest there" stated Ralof before heading towards the lumber mill. Naruto followed behind happy to finally put this chaotic day behind him and get some rest.
Yo so I will leave it there for now, review and let me know what you guys think. Also, before I end off I want to clear a few things. First, I will be trying to use the lore version of Skyrim when it comes to size and distances, second this will be a harem story and I may add characters from other ES Games and other fantasy properties but don't worry I will try my best to tie them in an IMMERSIVE lore friendly way as possible. Lastly I will list the mods I will be using for things such as character looks and designs and other things I will include them below in a mod section at the bottom of each chapter so you don't forget.
