The Meg: What If…Toshi Survives

A/N: I just checked and noticed there was a category for The Meg, and I felt motivated to write a scenario that could've rectified certain events that could've turned out differently.

Before Toshi could close the hatch behind The Wall, he felt something grab him from behind…and send him shooting up into the Evolution.

Clank! The hatch behind him closed quickly as he turned around, confused.

"What was that?" He questioned.

"What?" The Wall asked him.

"There was…"

"No time," went Jonas as he went to the front of the sub and detached from the Origin and retreated to the thermocline before the megalodon impacted against it.

BOOM! The collision between shark and sub created an explosion that destroyed the damaged vessel, but there was so sign of the meg.

The Evolution headed back to Mana One.

Something…or someone…shoved me into the Evolution, thought Toshi as Lori was lifted out of the sub and taken to the medical sector.

"That was a close call," went The Wall.

"Yeah," he agreed with him.

Beneath the thermocline, buried under the ruins of the Origin, being feasted upon by several tiny organisms, a hand resided…along with a metal fan. Their origins and how they got there, a complete mystery.

A/N: I don't know if I will expand upon this just yet, but this should be out in the world. Basically, a scenario where something else could've happened, like three megs instead of two, Zhang surviving, Morris surviving, you get the picture. I'll let time decide.
