(3)-Show And Tell.

Tommy stood in front of the 3rd grade class of Haddonfield Elementary School, holding up a drawing of the Boogyman that he had drawn himself yesterday. The drawing of the creature was that of a black-hooded cloaked figure with red glowing eyes. It was 'Show And Tell' today and Tommy had chosen to tell the class about the Boogyman. Well...he hadn't really chosen to, it was more like suggested. Suggested by 10-year old Lonnie Elem, who was sitting at his desk, with his two friends, 11-year old Richie and 12-year old Keith, sitting at their desks. Logan was also present amongst the class, sitting at his desk, as was 7-year old Lindsey Wallace, sitting at her's. Tommy had shared with Lonnie, Richie and Keith his fears about the Boogyman on October 27th and Lonnie suggested that he tell the whole class about it for show and tell, convincing him that if he did, the monster would leave him alone and go away. Which was exactly what he was doing right now.

Telling the whole class about the Boogyman.

Miss Renee Sherman sat at her desk in her orange rolling-chair in front of the class, completely turned in on Tommy's story.

"It's hard to fend off the dark. Especially what hides within it. I see it sometimes out of the corner of my eye...hear it's footsteps following behind mine. I feel it every time i turn off the lights. My fear only makes it stronger. I know what it is. It's evil. And the evil i know...has a name. "The Boogyman"." Tommy said.

"The Boogy-what?" Miss Sherman asked.

"The Boogyman." Tommy said as he looked back at Miss Sherman, followed by refocusing on the class. "He kidnaps kids...and he's after me. If he gets me...then he might come after one of you. So if i just up and disappear one day for no reason, and you see my picture on the News and plastered on milk-cartons and all over town on Missing Person posters...you'll know that the Boogyman got me."

7-Year old Holly Iowa raised her left hand. She had blond hair in two pony-tails that went past her shoulders and her eyes were blue.

"Yes, Holly?" Miss Sherman asked.

"I think i need to go to the bathroom." Holly answered.

Logan placed his right hand over his mouth as he started laughing.

"You may be excused." Miss Sherman said before Holly got up from her desk and rushed out of the class-room. "Tommy...put your drawing on my desk."

Tommy placed his drawing of the Boogyman on Miss Sherman's desk as the school-bell rang for Recess.
